I wake up and get ready for my second day at my new school. I walk out the door to see my guy Yu "sup!"
Yu looks at me and waves"hey!" Then He looks at my waves "what that kind of hair is that" Yu asked still looking at it.
Of course he wouldn't know no black people are here most of the time. "these are called waves only people of my color can get them."
"How do you get your hair like that" Yu asked as we continue walking that when we heard the same sound of the asshole! who hit me with his bike in a trash can trying to get out.
"That's the same person that hit me with his bike" Now he getting what coming to him. "S..someone" And he now asking for help. I don't want to help him but if you put good out in the world you will receive the same.
"Yu" I look at him and he was already over to the boy "grab the can and i got the arms."
Yu nodded in agreement at this, man it was easy to get along with this guy.
Yu grabbed the can and pulled the guy to his feet as I grabbed his wrist.
I just looked at Yu for a moment until I started to nod, mouthing out numbers from three down to zero.
When I reached it we both pulled in opposite directions, and in less than a few seconds the can popped off of the student. He sighed in relief as the can came off of his head and quickly grabbed his bike. "Whew, you guys saved me. Thanks! Um... Oh, yeah, that's right. You're the transfer students Yu Narukami and who are you never got your name."
"You don't need to know my name" glaring at him "Oh he Cadence" Yu just said like it's was his name like the fuck!
"Still thanks," He chuckled lightly I don't like this guy but let me Play nice. I'm Yosuke Hanamura. Nice to meet ya guys."
It's has been nice but I'm just going to go home and Play the game I go to school at lunch talking.
"Hey guys I-" I look back at Yu and Yosuke they are both in a pile on the ground. Both of them were moaning in pain, I have to stop being friends with dummy's.
Time changed to Early morning to lunch
I walked to the school a couple hours later with my headphones on singing the lyrics.

I continue to sing the lyrics until I saw Chie "Hey Cadence-Kun" Chie said.
"Why are you getting here this late" She asked.
"Oh because..." I tell her about this morning "Hahaha"she laughed loudly we continue to talk all lunch.
Lunchtime to after school
Yosuke was stretching in front of his desk as Yu walked over to mine, which was behind mine.
I smiled at Yu "sup" he smiled back Yosuke came over "So, you guys getting used to this place?"
"Yeah." Yu smiled at Yosuke, yet Yosuke seemed surprised for a moment.
"Wow that quick?" Yosuke chuckled and he looked at me "What about you Cadence?"
"No but I have to make the most of it" I just wanted to go home.
"What's it like to speak a new language?" Yu asked me.
"That goin-" FUCK if I keep talking English people are going to think I'm have Down syndrome and black Ho man there going have a field day I already get looks from people "that going to get some getting use time"
"Well I figured that," Yosuke laughed as Yu just nodded."you will have to learn about cultural differences! Well, anyway! Oh, you guys know about the local delicacy?"
"What that" What is that...oh that's food.
"Oh, yeah the delicacy is steak!" Steak...Man he should of just said that!
"Yosuke," He quickly looked at me again. "Do you know A place" I really don't know anything about this place so making a new friend won't be that bad.
"I know a place where you can get cheap." Right as Yosuke said that Chie walked of to the three of us. "What about me, huh? No apologies?" She those type of people.
"My 'Trial of the Dragon.'" Oh a free lorder I was right.
"Urgh...You always come around when I'm talking about food..." Oh this has happened before a good thing to know about.
"How about it, Yukiko? Don't you think he should treat us, too?" Well I guess I'm not getting steak.
"I'll pass...I don't want to gain any more weight. I need to help out at the inn today, anyway." TJ would like a girl like but hopefully he doesn't get the Yosuke treatment.

"It's not like that! I'm just helping out when it gets busy" Yukiko said sadly does she want to do it?
"Well, I should be on my way." Yukiko said as she walked out the class room.
"Oh well We should get going too" Chie said well I'm not paying.
"Huh? Do I seriously have to treat three people" Yosuke said.
Junes
Chie was mad as Yosuke came back with a tray of food and drinks, I had no idea why until she started her rant. "THIS is the cheap place you were talking about…? They don't have grilled steak here."
I look at the food "I'm not eating this shit"
"Hey!" Yosuke yelled at us to start his counter argument as he set the tray down. "When Chie jumped on the freeloader train, I had to change plans! Oh yeah Cadence I had no idea what you wanted to drink so I got you a fruit milk"
Nah this shit look nasty "I'm good but thank you"
"Suit yourself" Yosuke said back to me.
"Still, that's no reason to take us to your place." Chie still mad.
"Dude, this isn't my place or anything"
I look a Yosuke with confusion he notices it. "Oh, right, I haven't told you yet, huh? I moved here from another city about six months back. This location just opened up, and my dad was assigned to manage it So our entire family came out here. Here, this is to welcome you to town."
"Chie, yours is on me too." He actually being nice "Yeah, I know."
They all started asking me about life in America and a few things about Yu and then Chie started to talk about something more interesting.
"You ever hear of the Midnight Channel?" Ok what's that I'm confused.
"What the midnight channel?" I asked her still confused.
"You're supposed to look into a TV that's switched off, alone, exactly at midnight on a rainy night. While you're staring at your own image, another person will appear on the screen...And they say that person's your soulmate." Chie explained.
"I'm amazed that you still fall for that ridiculous kitty crap" I believe it.
"What do you mean kitty!"
"Now listen that why you can't NAP a boyfriend" Damm.
But Mrs Satonaka took that personally so personally that she grabbed him with the food in his hand!
I was surprised that he could say anything "Oh it's Saki!" Me and Yu turned around to see a brown haired girl that probably his girl how he ran over to her.
"Is that Yosuke girlfriend" I asked Chie.
Chie did like little laugh "Haha, he wishes!" Danm "That's Saki Konishi. Her family runs a liquor store in the shopping district...I think she's working here part-time, though." And they are friends.
Then she walked of to us "Hey you guys must be the new transfer students" "Thank-" I was going to say something but she started Yapping "This guy doesn't have a whole lot of friends" Danm no friends "I mean he's actually not that bad guy" he's still in there. "But if he starts bugging you, just let me know ok!" Never mind she doesn't like him.
"i'm just joking around" No she not! Anyway Saki and Yosuke started to walk and talk. He came running back with a Big a smile on his face and showed to tickets.
all I could do was support him..."Good job!" I said as I high five him.
After School to Evening: Just before Midnight
The time was 11:59 and there I was sitting in front of a blank TV screen waiting for nothing to happen the moment the clock struck twelve. While I sat there, I started thinking about my new friends and how much fun I was actually having. Yu barely spoke at all, but still, for some reason you just wanted to talk to him. Yosuke could be annoying, and then again I guess most best friends are at some times. Finally Chie, Chie was fun to be around; I was actually having the most fun with her for some reason. She was obsessed with kung-Fu movies, which was a little weird; then again I guess I just didn't like them that much. She loved steak, but so did I so no complaints. Just before the clock changed I noticed I was thinking about Chie a lot at that moment so I just laughed it off, I mean, yeah she was a friend, but we barely knew each other, oh well.
That's when it became midnight and suddenly the TV in my living room suddenly flickered on and slowly showed up on static, but I could see a few frames of a brunette girl in a school uniform flickering in and out of the screen. Yet I was not really paying attention to that, I was of course, like any normal human being…. "Hummm"I just stood there for a few minutes. "Chie wasn't bullshiting The midnight channel is real."
