It took some time for Ratchet, Ben, and Hilda to reach Endako, where they discovered that the coordinates were for Megapolis, the very city that Mr. Fizzwidget had said that Clank and Ema apartment was located in, where the two robots had taken the Swingshot and Magnegrindboots since they weren't standard issue for a commando.

"Ratchet! Ben! Hilda! Thank goodness you've arrived!" Ema came in on the ship's communicator.

"Glad to hear from ya, Mama E. Don't worry, we're here to rescue Clank!" Ben said.

After disembarking the ship, the trio noticed two paths for them to take, the left one appearing to be more dangerous, and required the use of the Electrolyzer to get through, while the right one seemed to head into an area that seemed more like where people lived, so it might lead to Clank and Ema's place at some point.

"Let's not waste any time, we're heading to the left," Ratchet stated.

Hilda nodded. "You got it! Friends first."

"Maybe we can also catch the Thief if she's still here," Ben suggested. "Just wishful thinking, y'know?"

Checking the Vendor, the trio found a few new weapons for sale; the Pulse Rifle, a long-ranged weapon that allowed them to snipe enemies, and the Miniturret Glove, which dispensed turrets that could fire at their enemies for a time before breaking.

"Dibs on the rifle!" Ben said. "I love playing as the Sniper! So satisfying to get headshots!"

With their new weapons purchased, Ratchet used the Electrolyzer to bypass the defenses of the terminal in front of him and quickly opened the door so they could head inside, where Hilda blasted some bots that were in the next chamber.

"Seems the Thief hacked the security system so the robots target us," Ratchet noted. "Oh well, Megacorp can foot the bill."

The trio soon came across a small room with some controls, to which Hilda messed with all of them for a moment and found that she was able to move a crane that happened to be in this part of the building, even though to use it Ratchet had to use the Electrolyzer on a terminal, and it wasn't long before she used a block of metal to crush some security bots before forming a way for them to leave.

Continuing onward, Ben used his new Pulse Rifle to snipe some robots out of the way from afar. After taking out a larger security drone, they crossed over to the next part of the Megacorp building that they had been in not a few moments ago, where Ben swung his Screwsaber and sliced up all the security drones who happened to be in the area.

Such a thing allowed Ratchet to hack into another terminal so Hilda could mess with the controls, where she smashed the enemies that were along the way with a metallic cube and then used an explosive cube to take down the locked door that was in their way, to which the trio headed onward to the last chamber of this portion of the facility.

That brought them to an area that had a lift that led to a passageway, to which the trio quickly removed the enemies that were in their way before accessing the small platform they seemed to be guarding, something that brought them right to where Clank was being held.

"Clank!" Ratchet called out.

Ben and Hilda quickly jumped down into the chamber so they could investigate...only for Ratchet, who was keeping an eye out for the Thief, to be pushed off the ledge by the Thief, who fled before anybody could react.

"Son of a Qwark!" The Lombax cursed as he picked himself up. "She's good, I'll give her that...shame she's a bad guy."

"Maybe something will happen, like a common enemy that has us both work together to stop it." Ben suggested.

Hilda snorted. "What are the odds of that?"

Ratchet made his way over to where Clank was and used the Electrolyzer on the terminal. After bypassing it, Clank was jolted awake.

"Final digit of Pi is...!"

"He's alive!" Hilda cheered as she picked up Clank and peppered him with smooches. "Oh, we were SO worried about you!"

"Hilda? Ben?" Ratchet?" The robot asked in surprise as he was put down before looking around. "Where are we? Hmm, I must have dozed off."

Ratchet smiled. "Don't sweat it. Let's just find a way out of here."

"I believe that air duct may offer our only way out."

The trio nodded as they watched their friend climb into the aforementioned vent, allowing them to take a moment to rest for the time being.

"Thank goodness Clank is safe!" Fluttershy chimed in on the private communicator.

"That Thief is really in for it now!" Rainbow said.

Soon, Clank returned, having opened the door that led outside.

"Way to go, Clank!"

Clank chuckled. "Nothing to it."

"Come on, your Mama is worried sick," Hilda said.

Clank nodded as he strapped himself to Ratchet's back and the quartet were on their way. Ratchet used the Helipack to reach the highest point of the exterior while Ben and Hilda used teamwork to help each other up. They soon made it to a teleporter that warped them straight back to the ship.

"How convenient!" Ben commented.

Deciding to take the other path, the four saw that a barricade blocked it. Ben then noticed a trashcan and got an idea, kicking it over and alerting a janitor drone to come in and clean up the mess, allowing them to get past the barricade that way.

It seemed Megacorp loved their trashcan barriers as they went through a few more of those before coming across a path, where a fighter helicopter piloted by the Thugs-4-Less Leader showed up. The heroes readied their weapons but the leader simply laughed as he flew off, prompting them to give chase.

Along the way, they took out many of the thugs that had been stationed to stop them. Taking them down as well as more security drones, the four soon were confronted by the leader in a large circular area.

"Greetings morons. Since my employees did such a lousy job of takin' care of you's, I thought I'd come and handle things myself."

"Really? You think you can take us on?" Ratchet remarked as he blasted the chopper's right wing with the Pulse Rifle, tearing through the metal with ease. "Come and try."

Despite his initial shock, the leader didn't back down and growled as he opened fire with a machine gun turret while calling in more of his henchmen to attack. However, the combined teamwork of Ratchet, Ben, and Hilda took them down and soon, the leader was shot out of the sky and plummeted out of sight.

"I doubt a big guy like him would be taken out like that. Something tells me we'll see again later." Ben commented.

"Of course, villains always come back for the sequels." Clank quipped.

The group soon found a teleport pad and hopped on, bringing them straight to Clank and Ema's apartment, where Clank's Mom was waiting for them.

"Thank goodness." Ema smiled as she came over. "You're not hurt, are you?"

"I'm fine, Mom," Clank reassured.

"Yee-Haw! The family is back together!" Applejack cheered on the private communicator. "Well...sorta."

"We'll be back for you soon, kids," Hilda reassured.

Ratchet, Ben, and Hilda took the time to get their Swingshots and Magnegrindboots. With that done and Ema strapping herself to Hilda's back, the gang found a back door resting nearby, one that led to an area for them to use the newly reacquired Swingshot, to which the trio did that after Clank and Ema locked the rest of the apartment up before they found another teleport pad that brought them back to their ship.

They soon found another path that required them to grind on rails. Deciding to see where it led, they hoped on and at the end of the track, they found a landing that had a teleport pad nearby, a landing that had a button platform attached to it, one that called a ship down to them.

"Put it in the slot." A sly voice spoke as a slot in the ship opened, revealing a pair of eyes. "The weapon you want modified; put it in the slot."

"Oh, I get it, you make weapon modifications." Ratchet realized.

"Yup, I can take your puny little weapon, and with a few, uh, tweaks I can turn it into a powerful piece of equipment." The individual said. "Look, you want me to hook you up or what? I can't hang around here all day."

"Hmmm...I don't think there's anything we need right now." Hilda noted. "But don't worry, we'll call ya!"

"You bring me the goods and I'll make your gear into grade-A WMAs."

After returning to their ship, the now team of five set a course for Planet Barlow, a desert planet that was the home of the Vukovar Tribe, a race of blue skinned humanoid creatures who were part of Thugs-4-Less.

"Hmmm, listen to this; Barlow actually has an old Gadgetron outpost," Ema noted as she looked up some schematics. "Apparently, they tried expanding into Bogon but Megacorp shooed them out."

"Mr. Fizzwidget gave us a card that can let us participate in the Desert Rider Races." Ben said. "Something tells me that's your thing, Ratchet."

Ratchet nodded. "It might give us some information, so I'll try."

It didn't take long to track down a landing pad for them to land on. After disembarking, they found a Vendor and saw a new weapon on sale; the Seeker Gun, which could fire missiles that locked onto the nearest target."

"I see we have two paths, the one to our right and one behind the ship," Ema commented.

"Every planet always has two or three paths for us to take." Ben joked. "It's like a video game at this point!"

"Well, we might as well check both of them and see what we can find," Ratchet replied.

The group decided to first take the path behind them and see what might be at the end. After swinging around with their Swingshots and hitching a ride on some kind of mining device, they came across some enemies which they took out with their new weapons.

"If Fluttershy were here, she'd definitely be able to tame these creatures," Clank commented.

"Word on that!" Hilda said. "Maybe I'll take one home for her!"

The gang soon entered a small building and found a tunnel filled of water for them to swim through, though that was when Clank and Ema switched to the Hydropack as Ratchet and Hilda got into the water, forcing Ben to hold on to Hilda's leg so he could keep up.

On the other side of the tunnel, the group found another rotating tower that brought them to some targets, Swingshot targets that brought them to yet another metallic tunnel that was filled with water, something that brought the three of them to yet another set of targets and a rotating tower.

After some careful platforming and Swingshotting, they arrived at a building where they found a scientist trapped in ice, a blocked-off lift, and a tunnel that was frozen, so there was no way for them to move forward.

"Might as well free this guy," Ratchet said as he struck the ice with his Omniwrench, freeing the scientist from his prison.

"It works! My invention works!"

"Huh?"

"It's called the Thermanator. It fires charged thermal pellets that can thaw an ice block or freeze a body of water." The inventor explained, showing the gadget in his hand. "Gadgetron will pay me millions!"

"Hey, I don't know how long you've been frozen, but I don't think Gadgetron's operated in this galaxy for years. Everyone buys Megacorp products these days." Ratchet pointed out.

"But that gadget seems pretty useful. We'll take it!" Ben said. "How much do you charge?"

The scientist seemed to take in that information for a few moments, shocked by the sudden fact that his boss had left him behind when the others left, but he took Ben's offer and sold it to them for a thousand Bolts, meaning he must have been stuck in what was the early stages of Gadgetron's prices, before departing from the building that they were in, even if he had to remember how to get out.

"You get this, Twilight?" Clank asked, having been hooked up to the private communicator along with Ema.

"Yup! Maybe I can get Megacorp to hire this guy."

Deciding to be the one to use the Thermanator, Ben unfroze the tunnel so he and his friends could head through it, finding that it brought them to another room of the chamber and that they had to step on a platform. Once all three of them were on the platform he refroze the water and created a surface for them to stand on for a time, which also included using a set of walls for them to jump up so they could reach the upper walkway, where they found that it happened to unlock the lift so the scientist could leave the building at some point, before they headed for another lift that returned them to where they landed the ship

"Alright, new gadget acquired, let's see if we can find those Desert Riders," Ben said.

Heading onward to the other path, the group came across the Vukovar Warriors, armed with swords and shields as well as some riding on large purple steeds. The Seeker Guns proved invaluable in taking them out and they soon crossed over a decent-sized metallic bridge that let the three of them access the other side of the canyon, where they found a number of warriors rushing towards them, but that wasn't much of a threat with three Blitz Guns pointed at them.

"I LOVE THIS WEAPON!" Ben said as he kissed his Blitz Gun.

They soon dropped down into some kind of arena, where a fence quickly rose up behind them and an army of warriors rushed at them in a matter of seconds, though the fifteen enemies fell in no time, and the gang headed across the walkway that brought them to an old Gadgetron building, with an old female robot who was likely an old Helpdesk agent before being assigned to the Bogon Galaxy, though she was shocked awake by something inside her breaking.

"Ooh! Excuse me. I think I just blew another vacuum tube."

"Should I have a look?" Ratchet offered.

"My word! You young people are so fresh these days!" the Matron replied, making the trio wince. "Oh, don't feel bad. I guess I'm just old-fashioned about that sort of thing. Did you know that I've been with Gadgetron from the beginning?"

"That would require a serial number, ma'am." Clank politely pointed out.

Ben's sight then drifted onto something interesting as he made his way over. It was a very large container that seemed to be the size of the RYNO.

"Is that...?"

"Oh, it arrived just yesterday... the RYNO II," the Matron answered, where she pulled the container over and opened it not a few seconds later, revealing a cylindrical weapon that had red and blue paint, as opposed to the square-shaped weapon that was mostly blue colored, with eight barrels arranged circularly this time, instead of in a three by three cube like the last version.

"DIBS!" Ben shouted as he snagged the RYNO II for himself.

Hilda giggled. "You called it this time, not me."

"I was told you might be coming by... hopefully they don't forget about me this time..." The Matron said.

"Don't worry, ma'am!" Twilight chimed in from the communicator. "I'll be sure to get Gadgetron to send someone for you!"

"Oh, thank you so much, dearie!"

The group saw that many of their old weapons from their first adventure were also there and acquired them as well, thankfully getting them for free. They then headed outside and Ben cackled like a madman as he laid waste to all enemies in his path with the new RYNO II.

"Oh dear..." Ema sighed. "He's gone mad with power."

"He's like that with every new weapon he likes." Ratchet chuckled.

"He's just so adorable." Hilda smiled.

With all the enemies wiped out, the group was able to find the portly biker from the Desert Rider commercial.

"Easy there, I don't want any trouble now." He said nervously with his hands raised.

"Don't worry, we're not looking for trouble unless it's looking for us," Hilda assured. "In fact, you could say we wish to become part of your pack."

"Really?" The biker asked hopefully. "So you understand my sensitivities?"

"Absolutely, sir. We just came here to race." Clank said.

"Well, you can borrow my Bluebell, so long as you're gentle. She just needs a few repairs." The biker said as he gestured to his hoverbike.

"I can look at 'er for ya." Ratchet offered, using the Electrolyzer to do so. "And presto, she's good as new!"

Taking Bluebell, Ratchet followed the coordinates to the track they would be racing on, finding a decent number of racers for him to challenge. Of course, Ben and Hilda weren't surprised to see that he overcame the rest of the Desert Riders in due time, even if all he could do was boost his way through the track since it seemed that weapons weren't allowed right now, and it wasn't long before Ratchet claimed first place and returned to them

"Great racing buddy!" The biker praised before placing a biker helmet with flame designs on it and some horns on Clank's head. "Here, take this helmet so the guys know you're one of us."

"Thank you, sir."

"Maybe that'll be a nice gift for Dashie." Ben commented.

Suddenly, a message alert was heard as the biker thug quickly pulled out his phone, revealing it was from the Thugs-4-Less Leader.

"Uh-oh, incoming message from the boss."

"Attention all Thugs-4-Less employees. First of all, whatever slug-brain's been eating all the Choochy Bars in the break room better quit stuffing his face or I'll-" The leader began only for the lights to suddenly brighten. "Hey, turn those lights off! It's bad Feng Shui."

"For an organization of hired thugs, they are surprisingly cultured." Ema noted.

"Next our space rendezvous point has been moved to, and listen up knuckleheads, the Feltzin System in sector 1-2-3-4-5. If you're no good with numbers, find a buddy to help ya." The Leader continued. "Lastly, the company picnic is this Sunday, and don't forget to bring your own juice this time—"

The lights suddenly brightened again, much to the Leader's annoyance.

"Hey! I saw that, Cletus! You just earned yourself a write-up!"

"Don't worry, the boss only yells 'cause he loves us." The biker reassured as the message ended.

"He does seem like the type who cares. I can get behind a leader like that." Ben noted.

Hilda nodded. "Me too."

"Did you see that broadcast?" Ratchet asked.

Ema nodded. "We should scope out that rendezvous point. We might intercept some stray transmissions."

"Godspeed, fellow rider!" Hilda saluted the biker, who returned the gesture as the group made their way back to their ship.

Clank has been rescued and he and Ema have joined up with Ratchet, Ben, and Hilda. From this point onward, Ema is basically going to be Hilda's Clank. Don't worry, Ben will get his own little robot buddy soon enough and you might be surprised at who it is.
