If you made it this far – congrats! You've read a 'BBC Merlin' fan-fiction that is longer than the KJV Bible! So... what does that say about you?... And what does it say about the person who wrote it? Lol.
In all seriousness – thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for taking the time to read this monstrosity in all its glory. It was a passion project that I started writing in, like, July of 2021, and I took a break that lasted a bit over a year, and then I spent almost a whole year hyper-focused on finishing. And, well this is the result!
This may be just a stupid fan-fiction, but it helped me get through one of the roughest losses in my life by giving me something to look forward to every time I sat down to write, so this story means more to me than I can express, and I'm beyond grateful for all the support it has gotten, and for the opportunity to share it with other people who love Merlin as much as I do.
The trilogy may be over, but it will likely not be the last time you see Astra and her friends. I'm planning to eventually publish a one-shot book with short stories of her shenanigans in Camelot that you didn't get to read about throughout 'The Girl Out Of Time'. If you have any ideas for a story, feel free to comment them and I will probably write them as long as they don't interfere with already-established plot points, and as long as they're realistic within the universe.
I've also considered writing a way shorter version of this that tells the highlights of the 'Artrea' love story from Arthur's perspective. Thoughts?
I'm already working on another Arthur Pendragon x fem!OC fanfic because there aren't enough of them that are well-writtenandfinished (and because I have an unhealthy obsession with him, but don't tell anyone :P) – so look out for that if you're interested!
Anyway – thank you, again, for giving this story an opportunity, and for making it this far, and I truly hope that you had as much fun reading it as I did writing it.
