Chapter 6 : Allies or Friends
Sage can seen positioning herself on top of a building overlooking her objective that being the home of the person that took one of her fathers creations. Though small it was still rather dangerous, which is why she needed to get it back as soon as possible. Along with making sure that they wouldn't try and take anything again.
As for that person in general she can be seen excitedly pushing said creation, into her home basement.
For this was Mei Hatsume who was now entering her 'private lab' to say the least with new never before seen baby as she calls it without a care in the world. With the pink dreaded haired younge inventor being unaware that she was being watch or atleast that was Sage through as she would soon find out.
Mei : "Mommy's home my babies! And I have a new friend to take apart and study." said the girl in the empty room. "Hmm You know you need a name. Hm hm hm oh I got it for now on you'll be called Motora"
She finished before rolling it forward towards the basements large table that was in the center and palce the bug onto with a thump.
But just she said this a small portal open up behind her which she didn't take notice from being to focused on the robot. From the portal came a pata-bata a small butterfly like robot but this time had red glowing irises. Soon the small robot began to serve for a vantage point but made a few stops here and there to check out some of the girls inventions which were simple, but still highly advanced for someone her age.
Sage :"Well at least she isn't an amateur when it comes to technology but still...she isn't ready to handle egg tech."
Mean while Mei was being too distracted with the motobug to notice the badnik. As she was busy trying to pick what tools she wanted to us.
Mei : "Okay lets see what we have to work with. Ohhhh I just can't hold my self back anymore lets go with all of them." said the girl that acted as if she had to much candy.
She decided to grabbed two tool boxs full of multiple tools that she had and even some of her babies that she created herself. From a mini blow torch, wrenches, screwdrivers, measuring tapes, and even a rubber duck?
Mei : "oops hey Mr. ducky how did you get in there. I'm sorry but I guess I won't be showering for a week so sorrry...Squeak...Haha I love you too."
She tossed it behind her in the direction of the pata-bata which it was to dough. With Sage witnessing what was happening with even more confusion from cycber space. She made a portal as soon as the pata-bata had gone to avoid any suspicion of why a small girl was alone very tall and dangerous place.
(Cycber Space)
Sage can be seen floats in the digital dimension but this time instead of the multiple compacted cities, as before it was now a bustling landscape foliage. For this land was know as Green Hills a landscape full of strange loops an turns, twists an turns with hidden pathways, and even floating platforms/rails that covered the air. Sage herself can be seen floating in the center of it all with glowing eyes while she had the robot's states to her right on a holographic screen.
Sage : "She has her own basement dedicated to her passion, she calls her inventions her children, even though they aren't sentient, doesn't seem to be bothered by the loneliness and she has a rubber ducky where rubber duckies shouldn't be. Just who are you Mei Hatsume?" questioned Sage with ever growing interest.
Sage : "Wait no! I must focus on my mission." she said with a head shake recomposing herself.
Sage : "Okay, get a birds eye view from the ceiling so we can make our move." ordered Sage to badnik which it then purched itself on top of a wooden support beam.
Sage then brough up a screen of the pata-bata's point of view before beginning to grip her right hand. The screen showed appeared to be a schematics of a blow dart with the clear words 'loaded' being heared to the younge AI robotnik.
Sage : "This won't kill you but this will but you to sleep for a long time...I'm sorry but my fathers creations aren't children's toys" stated Sage with shadows over her illuminating red eyes.
(In the real World)
While Sage had been contemplating with herself Mei can be seen begining to examine and take apart the motobug. She did so with eagerness while definitely disregarding any moment of danger that she was in as pata-bata was just above where she was. For it was locking onto it's target.
Mei : "Okay new baby just stay nice and quiet while I crack you open to see what makes you tick ha ha ha." said mei as she petted the bot. "Okay here I go...ta..ta...okay yes the shell of the main bodys off. All right those are connected to the eyes...oh yes. Built-in compressor engine engine here..yes..yes..."
With her being so laser focuse it was know Sages time to strike, it was now or never. For as soon as she got the metal blow dart ready from the face of the bata-pata a circular compartment opened under its two red eyes. From that small whole a small metal tube extended out from Sage extending her hand outward from cyberspace. At last it came to a halt in the form of a blowgun but smaller with Sage beginning to slowly close her hand. For as she did the dart would be fired and hit Mei.
Sage : "Say good night Mei Hatsume."
Right as she said this she closed her hand, the badnik fired and at that moment, everything went into slow motion.
The dart zoomed through the dusty air of the basement without a sound can be heared. It almost felt like an attorney before the dart was about to impact its target. For at that monent the younge inventor turned to face the projectile that was targeted at her.
The dart was inches from between her eyes before everything returned to speed when...
"CLINK"
Mei : "Ooooh nice metal dart ha ha." said the girl inspecting the dart between her fingers before looking up."
Mei : "I'm Sorry but I would like to examine your work without me, falling asleep please mr or ms." said Sage up to the badnik.
Just before, the dart could even make impact with Mei's skin she had caught the dart at the last second. With her being nonchalant as if she wasn't about to be hit said dart that she now held between her fingers. But before she could turn around a portal opened up in front of her.
Mei : "Oh my portal travel is possible with our technology!" shouted Mei with stars in her cross haired yellow eyes.
The she was about to walk closer until Mei realized that someone was walking out of it. That someone who Mei wasn't expecting as it was a short, white haired girl who wore a one piece long dress that appeared to have a red and black glitch like texture all over her body. Her thoughts were ultimately halted when the young white haired girl began to speak.
For the person that came out of the portal was none other than Sage Robotnik who carried a dark red aura with her more prominent facial features glowing ominously red eyes staring at Mei.
Sage : "Give me back what belongs to me and leave this place at once or suffer the consequences!" roaded the girl as she glitched out.
Sage : (I'm sorry that I it has come for me to scare you but this os the only way. This show of should intimidation has made quiver before my feet from knuckles to sonic. It shall do again here and now.) though Sage with on extended her glowing hands as she exited the closing portal.
Mei : (Okay that strong even for her quirk at such a younge age. Who is she and where did she get these impressive babies and that teleportation device. Wait!.. ah.)
Soon a small shockwave was sent across the room, pushing Mei back landing on her butt cutting her off from her thoughts.
Mei then witnessed that her entire lab had a red and black telekinetic aura but this didn't move her one bit. As she was interested in the person that just threatened her.
Mei : (Oh my sweet metal babies it's her she the creator.)
For Mei had now peiced together and was now staring at the owner of these highly sufficient mechians. Her excitement grew as her shocked face sported a wide grin to a smile of excitement.
Mei : "wow...wh.Who are you?"
Sage : "If you're wondering who I am..."
"I...am SAGE ROBOTNIK!" announced the AI girl coldy with a death glare.
Sage soon extended both arms and in an instant everything inside the basement began to move around the inventors and a tornado like fashion. From small tools to even the furniture that furnished the basement.
Mean while Mei only stood there frozen from either fear or shock she let everything happened around for a good five minutes before finally responding with a loud roar.
Mei : "ROBOTNIK...I AM HUGE FAN OF HIS WORK"
"Crash"
In an instant Sage had led go of her telekinetic while basement with completely dropping her intimidation tactics.
Sage : "Wait WHAT! (How can she know of my father. From what I searched on the worlds wide wed there doesn't appear to be any evidence that he was here. But wait maybe I can get some more answers from this Mei Hatsume)
It was then that she recomposed herself and turn to face Mei before finally asking in much calmer tone.
Sage : "How do you know about my father?..Um hello are you alive."
Mei again froze for a few seconds before returning back to earth.
Mei : "Your his daughter! Wait he has a daughter, wait does he have any other family members, is he in japan...Oh hold on a second...say cheese!"
Sage : "We don't gah ah.. stop with the flash photography!" shouted Sage with annoyance.
In that instand Sage was faced with a camera flash before finally open her eye to it's Mei flip a clip board. Said clip board had many old news papers with eggman empire logo, a few photos of her father, and even hair in small plastic bag. Which Mei took and stuff in her pocket of her cargo pants.
Sage : "How did you get all this? I have hacked the web and even a government system and found no such files of my father here. But you must have collected this over a few years so how?" asked Sage in wah.
Mei : "Well I'll just say I may have done things off the books trying to find all this. But I did cover up my tracks from far away and in person. Sure this moght risk my future into UA, but it's in the name of science."
Sage : "I have to say this is impressive for someone of your age."
Mei : "Ha thanks but it also helps that my parents actually work with robotnik himself at told me all about it." no
Even though Sage was gaining alot of information it only brough more questions then answers.
Mei : "Yah but not as impressive as your father. Oh man that gives me goosebumps saying it."
But before the girl could fan out she was halted when she felt a similar presence from before. As Sage could be seen glowing again and lift objects.
Sage : "Focus! Give evey detail you know!" Pipped Sage at Mei who beginning to fan out again.
Mei : "Yes Ma am, as I said before my parents worked with your father on various projects. But of course they were top secret since you know government gibberish, and all that. I didn't get many of the Projects names but I do know about 5 of them want to hear them..."
Just as Sage was about to hear Mei continue talking their conversation was rudely interrupted by the sound upstairs. As a younge woman can be heared shouting as that someone else. Sage soon scanned location of the sound with her eyes glowing red as an affect she received that the voice was moving towards the basement. Which Sage had to create another portal to cyberspace before giving a few words to Mei.
Sage : "Don't make an impression that I was here or else. (Ha here we go I'll use the old threaten their family trick a robotnik special.) thought the girl with a smirk.
Mei : "Yes ma'am no need to threaten my foster family."
Just as Sage closed the portal she heares Mei's final words with surprise but couldn't respond as someone had now barged into the basement.
Foster sister : "Hey who are talking to nerd. Oh let me guess one of your babies again."
Mei : "Yeah yeah thats it just me foster sis, me and my babies."
Foster sister : "Well okay keep it down! Will yah I'm on the phone with my real living friends. Ha ha if you weren't cooped up in this dump then you might have some...maybe." laught Mei's foster sister.
As as she left Sage return through a portal to a Mei who was still excited as ever as if she didn't just get insulted. As Sage saw the who ideal take place from within cyberspace through the pata-bata still present in the room.
Sage : "If what I saw was correct from you and her then that would mean your parents." before she could continue Mei answer with less excitement.
Mei : "Yeah I know but hey that's what foster family is for right." said Mei with smile.
But deep down Sage saw throught her smile as she once had one before meeting sonic. Mei immediately saw something was wrong and tried to reassure her.
Mei : "D-Don't feel bad...they might not be my actual family but they love me. Sure they maybe rough around the edges, but the love is there...t-though they never check out on me. ...Have to always make my own dinner...and they're never there whenever I'm sad or alone...But..yah..yah I'm doing great. Foster Sis was just having one of those days." said Mei with her head down with small tears that were hard to notice.
Sage : "A..are you?" asked Sage with hint of sadden as she could see those tears.
Mei : "Ha Ha ha of course I am I have my babies to keep me company, I have my research for better babies. But most importantly, my dream of entering into UA." said the girl standing in a chair.
It was than that a voice was heard from upstairs.
Foster sister : "Ha fat chance your going to make it freak. You know that MY parents won't pay for the admission." Mocked Mei's foster sister.
This was the last straw for Sage as these people we're supposed to be her family. But it appeared that it wasn't the chase based on they treated Mei. For she had seen Sonic's friends treat each other as if they were one big family even if they weren't related by blood. She also soon thought of her own father which she placed her hand over her 'heart', just thinking about it. He might be an evil genius, but even he treated her better than these people did to Mei. With those experiences she understood how friends and familys should act to one another. But this experience wasn't one of them.
Sage : (I have to do something. I know this could jeopardize our plan of laying low more. But I must do something like what sonic did with his friends whenever they were down. I don't know why, but I just feel like I have too. ...Also in a a way she is like father.) though Sage before cleaned her throat and finally making up her mind to what ti do.
Sage : "I have grown an interest in you and I believe we can help each other to achieve a lot. Which is why I say we keep in contact." said Sage in her usual cyber tone.
Mei : "Really!...Fantastic I'll get a chance to show you all my babies!" shouted Mei with glee.
It was then that Sage had gotten a notification from within her system as she raised her expanded her arms to reveal a small screen. Said sceen showed a message that was in the form of a text message. The message being made of emojis of a hedgehog with seven emeralds. Sage you knew what this meant, but before she took something out from a small cycber portal that she created.
Mei : "Soooo how are you gonna contact me?"
As soon as she asked her instincts kicked in as she caught something with both her hands it being another Egg electric. Mei saw what she had in hand and was immediately got her attention.
Mei : "Wow nice baby you have here." complimented the girl.
Sage : "Thanks?" (Why does she calling her invention babies?) though Sage as she disappeared into thin air.
Mei : "Oh a bye see you around partner."
Fostet Sister : "Shut up creep!"
But what she said fall on death ears as Mei was too focused on what she hold while a sticky not reading a message that read.
"Keep the motobug"

Near Musutafu's residential area a police car can be seem pulling up beside a road that led straight to a apartment complex. Said complex as the destination of a surtain blue hedgehog along with a dective and a special number one hero. From the car it's door opened as Sonic jumped out of his seat with the school backpack on his back.
Sonic : "Okay Sage's Egg electric say that this should be we're the emeralds are right." asked to Sonic for reassurance.
All Might : "Ah yeah it says so here" reassured All Might looking and checking out, said device. (Hm I wonder what else this thing can do.)
Tuskauchi : "Hey Sonic wait up. I think it's best that I come along with you. I know that you are a good person and all but.."
It was then that All Might placed his hand on Tuskauchi's shoulder and gave him his iconic smile.
Sonic : "Hey! Cool your jet s detective. This hedgehog knows what he's doing and don't worry I won't run off or use my 'quirk'." said Sonic with a thumps up at the duo.
It was then that Sonic began to walk in the direction of the complex leaving All Might and Tuskauchi. With All Migth reassuring the detective that Sonic can handle this on his own.
Tsukauchi : "I just hope he doesn't stir up any more trouble. Based off of what Sage told us anyway about his personality."
All Might : "Ha ha ha don't worry old friend for younge Sonic has the heart and strength of a hero. Which is why I have faith in him and that also gives us time to take a look at this." said the hero holding the Egg electric in his left hand.
Sonic after some time of walking around and knocking on doors Sonic was finally at the midoryia's resident apartment. Which took a while since he did really know which apartment was theirs but thankful their neighbors had given him direction. Sonic was now facing there apartment door and soon began to knock getting someone attention.
From the door emerged a short plumped green haired woman know as Inko Midoryia.
Inko : "Hello how can I help..."
But before inko could finish she paused at who she saw at the door for she saw a blue anthropomorphic hedgehog. He then spoke to her in a manner.
Sonic : "Why hello ma' am my name is Sonic the hedgehog and I'm here too...gah"
'Slam'
In the instant Inko had closed the door on Sonic face leaving a confused Sonic to ponder if he said anything bad.
Sonic : (Oh man did say something bad.) though Sonic. "Hey ah ma' am if I said anything bad to offend you then I apologize. Could you open the door...please."
From insider her home Inko can be seen crouched on the floor with her back against the door. He face showing sign as if she just had a heart attack.
Inko : (Oh my oh my why? Why him of all people? I though all those problems were behind me. Wait! What if he's after my baby?! Okay I'll play your game for now...") though Inko "Okay calm down Inko you've been through worse. Huff huff okay here we go" she concluded as she began to fully opened the door.
Sonic : "Ah man did I take a wrong turn or skip a floor again? Looks like it...Well...ah...ma' am I'm sorry to bother you! I'll just..."
As Sonic was about to leave thinking that he got the wrong house it was then that door finally opened again. Getting the hedgehog spirits up as he could finally give back the backpack and get the chaos emeralds. But before he could move Inko spoke.
Inko : "Why hello Son..ic how can I help you." said Inko calmy with a smile as if she didn't close door on Sonic.
Sonic : "Uhm okay ah well hello...(she's acting as if she didn't just close the door on my face. It's best not to harass her about it.)...as I said before my name is Sonic The Hedgehog and I was wondering does Izuku Midoryria by any chance happen to live here because I have gah.. oh no, not again..."
It was then that Sonic was surrounded by another aura, but this time green and was pulled into the apartment. This was done by Inko who raised her hand to further activate her quirk by picking him up from ground and pushed into one of the apartments wall. With Inko increasing the pressure around sonic's throat the throat simultaneously strangling him.
Inko : "Oh! so you are after my baby!"
Sonic : "ah gah ha gah"
Inko : "I should have never lead you in. You thought you could pull a fast one on me well, too bad for you but you can't pull a fastest one on his mother.
Sonic : "gah ahhh" (Wait this is the kids mother...she's like a 180 from her kid!) though Sonic thinking back to the time that he saved Izuku.
Inko : "I shouldn't have let you in if you want hurt my baby boy. I thought I could give you a chance, but it looks like that's not gonna happen!" shouted Inko with a death glare with shadows over her eyes.
Sonic : "gah ah ah grrr gah" (What is with this woman why is she doing this? Wait?! How is she doing this she no taller than me so where is the street coming from? Oh man i'm getting flashbacks of cream's mom when he did this to me.)
Inko : "I would normally do this quickly with a neck snap but for you, I'll make you suffer for trying to my baby!"
It was then that Inko began to increase her hold by slowly, squeezing her hand increasing her hold on's Sonic's neck.
Inko : "Say good bye! Rodent. Haa haa haa"
It was then that Inko began to cackle, manically as if she had just gone insane.
As for Sonic he was trying to find a way to get out without causing anymore problems but thankfully faith would be pn his sode for once. As a he before he could fully fall into unconscious a familiar green haired boy entered the seen.
This was Izuku Midoryia and right now was witnessing her mom in a way he never saw her before.
Izuku : "Hey mom what's all the shouting...Mom! what are you doing stop! stop!" shouted Izuku as he ran to check up on sonic. "Are you okay!?"
In that instant, the green or a surrounding sonic had dissipated as sonic fell to the ground, gasping for air.
Sonic : "cuff cuff cufff oh man thank Morbius! Oh don't worry yeah that was nothing. (Please buy it?)"
Inko : "Sweet...get away from him he's dangerous let mommy handle this." said Inko as her hand began to glow green again along with her eyes.
Izuku : "What how is he dangerous?! If he's the one that saved me from the sludge villain incident from today!!"
Inko : After hearing this a confused Inko said only two words "Wait what?"
(Few minutes later)
We soon see the scene shipped from the front door to the dining room, where sonic can be sitting with the Midoryias around the dining room table. Since for the past few minutes, Izuku explained to his mother how sonic had saved him and bakugo from Sludge Villain with a mother in general being very sorry her action. She was so sorry to the point that she was begging for sonic's forgiveness for how she treated him. But thankfully for her Sonic for gave her either way in the end.
Inko : "Again I'm so so so sorry I never should of did that to you. I didn't really look into the incident after it happened it was quite painful for me to watch my baby in danger."
Sonic : "oh no don't worry ma'am everything's all right. What's done is done in the past...Also I understand the reason for why you acted. Believe me I know as a mother must do everything in her power to protect their child. Believe me, I know."
Inko : "sniff T-thank you...you have no idea how long I want to hear that S-sonic. (Wow I guess I was wrong about him in the end. So he really doesn't know...well OK I guess I'll put that rest then.) though Inko as she whipped the tears from her eyes.
Inko : "So now that we got that problem settled with I think it's best that we fully introduce ourselves to you Sonic. It only makes sense since you told us your name you don't even know ours."
Sonic : "All right sure. And just to make this official I'll introduce myself again for your son. Hello my name is Sonic the hedgehog." agreed Sonic with smile.
Inko then stood up and took a small bow before speaking.
Inko : "It's a pleasure meeting you Sonic my name is Inko Midoryia r..."
But as she was about to continue, she stopped herself, but before sonic could raise any suspicion, Izuku began to speak.
Izuku : "As for me S-Sonic my name is Izuku Midoryia. I-it a-a pleasure to m-meet y-you."
Sonic : "Yeah you too and also cool your jets man it's not like I'm a celebrity or anything. Haha well only if you don't look at the latest news report ha ha."
Inko : (Okay maybe I might just let them talk now. Sonic seems to have good intentions? Okay then Sonic you're test begins. I just hope you're better than Bakugo.) though Inki with hope at the possibility of her son making a new friend.
At that moment Inko soon left the table and leaving the two to talk with the latters themselves not knowing of her departure.
Izuku : "S-sorry it's just great to properly meet you in better conditions that is. Hahaha." chuckled Izuku.
Sonic : "Yeah I can say same to thing to Midoryia. This is better than fighting some sludge guy. Heck I'm still finding pieces of him in my quills."
As soon as Sonic ask this he pated his and small chunks of sludge came out, emphasizing his point.
Izuku : "Well I'm just glad that everyone was OK. T-Thank you for saving me too. A-and along with saving kachan.
Sonic :(Kachan what's a catch on Kachan? Oh wait hold I think it was that other kid that I saved. Yep definitely.) though Sonic before dismissing his question all together.
Izuku : "I-I h-have to say though Sonic you were amazing in that fight!" complemented Izukuu.
Sonic : "Yeah yeah I get that a lot." said Sonic taking in Izukus compliment.
Izuku : "So if you don't mind how does your quirk work? It must be a type of super speed, right. Does the amount of calories you eat affect you. What's the fastest you ever can run. Do you have fast regeneration if your cells are moving fast. I mean it would make sence for your white and red blood cells to move too right..."
Inko : (Oh oh no oh no he's going full Midoriya nothing getting him out of that as soon as he starts.) though Inko with panick from the kitchen.
It was then Izuku Midoryia began to speaking at a rapid pace that even surprise Sonic.
Sonic : "Ummmm hello"
It was then that Izuku stopped.
Izuku : "S-sorry I just really like quirks. Ha..ha..ha"
Sonic : "Ha it's fine everyone has their hobbies said Sonci to gleeming Izuku with stars in his eye.
It was then that Sonic got into a think position as he turned to face his hands to grip them. As nobody really asked about how his palace have worked, and to be really honest, not even he knew.
Sonic : "But to be brutally honest... I don't know myself as my powers have...changed. At first it was just me retaining my momentum to me just going super fast from nothing. I'm oh...umm... where did you get that notebook? " asked Sonic who finally turned to face Izuku.
Izuku right now was writing in a new notebook listening, and writing to what Sonic was saying. As for a while everyone stood in silent as he was writing even his mother who was observing the their conversation.
Inko : (My-my baby just can't help himself when he sees a cool quirk. I really hope Sonic doesn't think anything bad about him because of this.) though Inko picked up a few dirty dish to the sink.
But just as Izuku was finishing he paused It was then that Izuku had a realization.
Izuku : "Hey wait Sonic not to be rude, but Sonic why are you here in the first place?" asked Izuku with curiosity of seeing Sonic again.
Sonic : "Ummm...what do mean.
But then the though hit him as if he was slamed into a stone towel by one of the star fall titans.
Sonic : "Oh...yeah...I actually do have a reason for being here. Wow I really got sidetracked haha (gosh she not going to hear themend of it). But yeah I actually came here to give you this."
Sonic then took off the school backpack from his back and placed it on to the table. With Izuku immediatetly realizing it was his school backpack.
Izuku : "Wait is that my backpack!" said Izuku in surprise.
This had also surprised Inko who is secretly hearing their conversation as she turned the water of the sink.
Inko : (Wait! How did you have my son backpack? DID YOU ROB HIM!) though Inko who's hands again began glow green.
Sonic : "Yeah...The guy organizing the evidence made a mistake and gave you the wrong bag. I only realized it after I got yours."
With that Inko's halted her angry and soon began to calm down with her green aura disappearing as well.
Izuku : "Wow you went all this way to give me my backpack thank you Sonic." said Izuku as he got a hold of his bag. "You didn't really need to do that in the first place save me should have been enought."
Sonic : "Hey don't sweat it green shortcake."
Izuku/Inko : "Wait what?" Said the mother and son duo at what sonic called Izuku.
Sonic : "Oh I'm sorry I guess that was just instinct taking over. I usually call people by a nickname when I get to know them a bit. (Though that was lie it true to some extent. Though I haven't done that in a while, I don't know why.) though Sonic before his thoughts were interrupted.the
Izuku : "hey no don't worry it's fine. It was actually quite funny hahaha."
Though Izuku had been called many names this one had stood out as it seemed like an insult. In reality it was a funny nickname that for once didn't have any bad meaning behind it.
Izuku : "Hey if your giving nicknames then here one for you mister...mister...oh.mr. Needle mouse.
Sonic / Izuku : "Hahahaha"
Both soon form a pool of laught that was being over looked by Inko.
Inko : (A little offguard, but I'm too am OK with this. But if he calls me old hag shortcake I will crush him into next week. Oh well, at least my baby is happy...again. Well Sonic your at good start.) thought Inko before turning away to focus on washing the dishes.
Izuku : "Oh wait hold a second Sonic let me get something from my room be right back."
Sonic watched as Izuku ran down the hall before going up stairs to his room. After some time Izuku came out with a ragged but cleaner backpack.
Sonic : "Oh nice thanks Izuku" said Sonic as Izuku handed him the bag.
Izuku : "N-no problem. It would only make sense for me to give you yours back. I mean you went through all the trouble to bringing me back mine. Also, I don't know what's in it. I never opened it.
Sonic : "Wow! Out of all the people to have our bag I'm just glad that it was you.
Izuku : "Ha thank you. I guess..."

For a few more minutes they did nothing but talk with Izuku's mother over seeing them with joy. But sadly all good thing usually come to an end.
As Sonic stood up from his sait and immediately placed the backpack on his back to confusion of the two Midoryias before speaking.
Sonic : "Sorry but as much as I would like to stay an chat more. I'm on the-clock so if you don't mind but I think it's about time for me to leave."
Before Izuku could respond Inko reenter the dining and spoke.
Inko : "Not at all we understand. Right Izuku." said Inko with a pleasant smile to her son.
Izuku : "Yeah yeah I guess.." said Izuku with hidden disappointment.
Though he wanted to know more about Sonic he understood that Sonic too must had other thing to do. And in the end he was satisfied with few minutes they just had together.
Sonic : Thank you (Ha take that Sage! I finished before you did guess who the slow one now. ...Wait a minute I was always fast...) said Sonic with a bow of his own.
But just as Sonic was about to turn to face the door.
Something or someone appeared from thin air in the midoryia house hold. Leaving behind only a few spark of digiatal effects before revealing to be a small white haired girl in black one piece dress with red mary j shoes. This confused both Midoryias but not for a surtain blue hedge who greeted the visitor.
Sonic : "Ohh hey SAGE man what took yah so long." said Sonic with a smug tone and look.
To this the young AI girl just rolled her eyes.
Sage : "Okay fine you win this time but I expect you to keep this behavior while were here. So do you have IT."
With that Sonic showed her the backpack he had on. Which made Sage breath a sigh of relief before realizing that they had an audience. She then slowly began turn to face the Midoryias.
Sage : "Oh were of are my manner's sorry for teleported here my name...is...S-s-ag..."
But just as she was now face to face with the two her words began to slowly faulter. As she optics were now centered on Izuku Midoryia with boy in general being confused as her.
Sage : (W-what..is..this..feeling..in..my..system. And why..is..it..centered on him.)
It was at that moment that Sage now floating to meet Izuku's eye level. With her ever coming closed to the now sweating green haired boy.
Izuku : (Oh gosh a girl. Wait Izuku she doesn't appear to be even 8 years old. Wait why am I g-getting nervous.) "Uhm um um um."(She coming closer!)
His mother too watched with equal confusion of what to do.
Inko : (Ah she doesn't seem to be a threat but..what do..I..she's..a child. Or is she just short?) though Inko seeing the events unfolding.
As for Sonic he was too busy check the backpack.
But it was there that the tension had reached its climax at what Izuku was about to do next. For Izuku extended his hand towards Sage not for a handshake but to...
'pat pat pat'
Sage : "hmmm what hmn are you doing?" (Wait whats with my face. Wait what's woth my face ?) asked a now blushing Sage who was being petted by Izuku.
Inko : "Izuku! she's not a petstop!" shouted Inko in a effort to stop her son.
Izuku : "Um um um (wah what am doing!) huh ahhah."
It was then that Izuku felt him being pushed back a few inches from Sage with a ref arua around his body. Halting him from petting her even further.
But it was then that Izuku realized something.
Izuku : (Wait why is she turning pink. Is it affect of her quirk? Or just indication that it activated. ...Ah wait have to say something or sorry at least .) though Izuku guilt fully of his action.
Izuku : "Um sorry about that but if I may ask why are pink." asked Izuku with embarrassment all over his face.
With that Sage took a look at her hands to realize that her entire body had an outline of pink on her skin. But her skin wasn't the only thing that was pink as the red sprite that can be seen on the swirl of her hair was also pink. And though she didn't realize it her eyes were also pink. Unaware that her irises also becoming a dark pink with too. Sage stood there for a few seconds before finally moving.
As in an instant Sage dashed forward towards Sonic to the confusion of the hedgehog as she open the portal quickly and carried sonic through it using her telekinesis. All this happened without anyone saying a word as they were too shocked at how fast the girl got out.
But the silence was broken Izuku muttered a question.
Izuku : "Um...um mom, ...does ...that count as talking to a girl"
To that Inko just shook her head while leaning against the wall.
Inko : "Uhm to be honest, sweetie I don't know. But if it was, then I think you felt a pretty bad impression of yourself."
To that Izuku fell back completely to the ground while groaning at his predicament. Feel horrible after what he just did to Sage as he only wish he could apologize to her.
