New story! Yay!
This time it's a very lighthearted, sweet and fun. Fluff if you want.
Hopefully you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
I would love to hear your thoughts about the story!
As English is not my native language, there might and will be grammar and spelling errors. I'm sorry for that!
Hiro Mashima own Fairy Tail and I'm just playing with the characters.
Lucy laid on her side watching as her hand rose and lowered along with the chest it was resting on. A small smile visited her lips, when she started trace a pattern inked on the skin. By now she could draw the whole tattoo from memory, remembering every curve and turn it had, knowing where it started and where it ended without looking.
Sudden contraction of the pectoral muscle was the only warning she got before the figure lying by her side turned around toward her and an arm swung over, pulling her then closer. "What are you doing?" A husky, sleep filled voice rumbled through the chest her head was now pressed against. The familiar voice, which was even deeper than normally, send a shiver down her spine right in to the very core of her. Oh, how I loved his morning voice!
Lucy exhaled, her breath hitting right at the chest. She had to calm down. Getting this exited in the morning wasn't appropriate.
"Are you trying to arose me, woman?" The husky voice rumbled again just as sleepy as before, but with a hint of amusement in it. Shivers, again. Seems like someone else noticed her excitement, too.
Lucy bit her lower lip trying to contain her smile. On the other hand... A little morning fun never hurt nobody, right? "Maybe." She whispered, earning a chuckle as a response.
When the boulder next to her moved, she closed her eyes with expectation. As she felt him turning more and more over her, her heart sped up. Blindly trusting her partner, she let him trap her completely in to his embrace. She readied her lips for the next step...which never came.
"Sorry. Can't let you do that. Too tired." The man mumbled as he locked her even tighter against him, preventing her from moving. So, much for the morning exercise...
Forcefully Lucy wiggled herself free from the hold, her companion moaning protests at her all the way. Grabbing a pillow, she hit the man in the head playfully, but strongly enough for him to know that she was displeased with him right now. "Ass." She huffed before hopping off the bed a smile on her lips.
"Autch..." The man mumbled as he replaced her in his embrace with the pillow he had just been assaulted.
Shaking her head, Lucy walked to her wardrobe. One button at the time she started to undress herself from the over-sized shirt she had burrowed (stolen) from her boyfriend. While doing so the corners of her lips curved upward. She might have been annoyed for getting lead on so badly, but when she remembered the first time she realized how bad of a morning person her boyfriend actually was - even worse than her - she couldn't possible stay mad at him.
For some reason, Lucy had always taken him as someone who was up and about the second the clock strikes 6 a.m. Then came the first night they spend together. And how much more wrong could she have been.
First half of the lovely evening went with her stressing about the coming morning. What would she do if she didn't wake up early enough? What if he would try to wake her up and she just wouldn't get up? What if she looked completely hideous right after waking? Questions like that spun around her head non-stop. That is until the second half of the evening started. Well, let's just say that after that she didn't have time to think pointless worries, her mind being rather occupied with something else. Something that had a completely own, special file in her memories.
Then came the feared morning and those questions truly turned out to be pointless. She had woken up late only to find him still soundly sleeping. Happy that she hadn't slept in, she had jumped from the bed and ran to the kitchen to make them some breakfast, hoping that she could surprise him with one. There was no telling when he would wake up, it could have been any second right then.
But then seconds turned into minutes. And the minutes into an hour. She even ended up trying to wake him up couple of times, but without results. Eventually she had decided to eat alone and then entertain herself with the few books she found while she waited for him to get up.
When couple of hours had passed, he finally showed up to the living room. His blonde hair a mess, his eyes still puffy from the sleep and all he had on was his boxers from yesterday. All in all, he looked like he had jumped from the bed straight to the living room. It seemed like he had been in hurry to get there. Then their eyes had met and she could see the tension in his shoulder ease up as a sigh of relief exited his mouth. "Fuck. How long was I out?" was the first thing he said to her.
That was the moment when Lucy realized it, that she truly and utterly loved the man. To this date, that morning was still one of her most cherished memories.
Done withe the buttons, Lucy slide the shirt off her shoulders and threw it on the nearby chair. She was about to grab her clothes for the day, when her boyfriend's sleepy voice interrupted her. "On a second though, I'm not that tired." She turned around to see one lightning yellow eye staring at her over the pillow, which was still tightly in his embrace. It might have only been one single tired eye, but she felt the intensity of the stare her naked body recieved all the way down to her bones. Again those nice shivers traveled down her spine, tickling her core.
"Well, too bad for you. I'm not coming back to bed." She said, sticking her tongue out at him. Hearing the frustrated groan from the bed, Lucy smiled victoriously as she started to dress up. A little payback from before.
"Come on. I have something to give you." He lured her.
"Yeah, right." She scoffed and pulled a t-shirt on.
"No, I'm serious. I have something for you." He continued with earnest tone. This made Lucy hesitate. She turned around, giving her boyfriend a doubtful eye. He seemed honest enough. And considering the date... He might have been telling the truth.
"Seriously?" She gave him a skeptical look. Studying his every movement, she tried to find something that would give his lie away.
"Yes. Now come here before I change my mind."
Lucy gave him one last look of suspicion, but then decided to trust him. She approached the bed. "So, what did you want to give me- Ack!"
The moment she was arm's length away from the bed, her boyfriend grabbed her wrist and pulled her in. Faster than she could say 'Fairy Tail', she found herself under the man, trapped between his strong arms. "This." He whispered huskily right before closing the gap between their lips. The kiss was hot and sensual, making her tingle all over. All she could do was melt with pleasure.
But the moment he pulled away, the magic broke and she was able to think straight again. She grabbed the pillow from before and without any mercy started to smack her boyfriend with it. "I said am not coming back to bed!" She tried to sound mad, but the laughter dripped through her voice.
The man, shielding himself from the attacks, let out a rare laugh himself. "But now that you're here, why won't we enjoy ourselves a little, hm?" He suggested between the hits.
"That window closed already. Now, get up! We have places to be." Lucy commanded as she finally put the pillow down. This time she managed to evade the arm that once more tried to snake around her, hopping off the bed just in time. The man let out the second frustrated groan of the day as he fell flat on the mattress.
Lucy shook her head amused, then headed toward the bathroom. As she was circling around the bed, she halted midway. Her eyes had landed on something that forced her to stop everything else she was doing and just admire it. 3/4 of her boyfriends butt had slide into sight from under the blanket. Those perfectly shaped cheeks, full with muscles... Like carved from marble. She loved to admire the butt through the clothes all the time, but the bare sight of it was a rare treat.
To her disappointment, the butt was suddenly hidden back under the blanket. "If I'm not getting any, then you're not getting any either." Her bitter boyfriend grumbled into the sheets.
Sticking her tongue out, Lucy continued her way. Not like she would have cared to look at it any longer anyway.
When she reached the restroom's door, hand already on the handle, she remembered something important she had forgotten to say. "Hey!" She called out at the man on the bed and waited for him to lift his head with a questioning 'Hm?'. "Happy anniversary, Laxus!" She exclaimed with the most content smile she owned. 2 years of dating was now behind them and she couldn't have been happier.
