The next morning Eris woke up exhausted, yet satisfied. The events of last night were echoing in her head as she dressed for the day, regret had yet to settle in but she was sure it would start. It would be silly not to feel regret or some form of stupidity, she went out and slept with a vampire that she had only talked to twice, one she barely knew and one that wanted to make her a meal, or a least a plaything. She was fine with being a plaything, sex was a stress relief and there are so many ways to enjoy intimacy that isn't just missionary, but she knew that being a plaything to a vampire could mean so much more. Yet she found her curiosity wanted to explore what Spike had in store for her, how depraved he could be, not the smartest decision but Eris was not known for her smarts.

As she put the last of her makeup on there was a knock at the door, heading over and opening it, she saw it was Buffy, "Oh, Morning Buffy, what brings you to my humble abode?" she said jokingly as she moved out of the way to let her cousin inside.

"I came to check on you, I knocked on your door last night but you weren't in," Buffy looked around the room, nodding in approval at all the changes Eris had made, "you told me last night you were having a night in."

Eris grabbed and piece of her hair to twirl with her fingers, an action which Buffy noticed and raised a brow at, "well…I went out and fucked the British guy," she said with a hint of embarrassment lacing her tone.

Buffy raised both brows in surprise, "the British guy? The one you've only met once?"

"I mean I met him twice," Buffy snorted at that, "yea I know, twice isn't any better," she huffed and walked over to her bed to throw herself on it, "I needed a stress relief, and he had been very willing to give it. Not a smart idea but it worked out well for me!" she decided to leave out the part about the British guy being a vampire, she didn't want a lecture on safety from The Vampire Slayer.

Buffy shook her head and moved over to the bed so she could slap Eris' arm, "fun or not that wasn't safe, especially in the hellmouth."

"I know!" Eris repeated whilst rubbing the arm Buffy slapped, "I'll be careful I promise, the guy is just a fling, someone to have some fun with whilst I study."

"You're going to keep seeing him?"

"Yea why not? And if he turns out bad I'll have my amazing Slayer cousin with supernatural strength beat him up,"

She sat up from the bed with a grin as Buffy shook her head, "I can't stop you from seeing the guy, but I will take you up on that and beat him up if anything happens," Eris nodded enthusiastically in response, "Changing subject from my cousins sex life, I need you to come with me to see Giles."

"Weird request, everything ok?"

"Not sure, I got attacked by a weird looking bald demon last night when I went to get coffee with Kathy, figured I'd do some research and get the drop on baldy if he shows up again."

"Weird Bald Demon research, how thrilling, I'll get my shoes on."

The cousins had arrived at Giles to find him not at home, which was unusual for the man who didn't really have a life. He was meant to be the stay at home nerdy Englishman who sipped on tea and read a tome on ancient demonic rituals, which he would call 'light reading'.

"Boring. Boring. Bill. Bill" Buffy muttered as she read through all of Giles' letters and magazines, she had intended to wait on the steps for the man and read his personal stuff but was interrupted by said man coming down all sweaty and panting.

The two young women stared at the man in mild surprise and no small amount of humour. "You run?" Buffy said jokingly.

"And Jump, and bend" Giles replied in a breathless voice as he tried to catch his breath, "and, occasionally, frolic."

Eris shook her head, "you frolicking is not something I want to picture."

Buffy agreed as she pulled up a magazine, "and, uh, what's with motorbike and scooter magazine?"

"Congratulations. You've found me out." Giles snatched the pile of papers out of Buffy's hand, "I'm a mod jogger."

"Ok, you're not having one of those midlife things, are you? Cause I'm still going ish from the last time you tried to recapture your youth."

"What does that mean?" Eris asked.

"He was getting it on with mom."

"Oh gross!"

"Girls," Giles scolded softly, not really wanting to remember that time.

"Sorry," they both responded sheepishly.

"Right. Demon, last night. Made with the pummelling, but he got away " Buffy pulled her cousin to sit on a chair next to her as Giles did the same before she passed over a smoothie to Eris that she could happily drink as the other two talked demon.

"What sort of demon?"

"Um, he had a cloak on. Glowy green eyes, and his skin had that, like, super-bad, fake rub-on tan."

"Translate?"

"Orangey?"

"Thank you. Anything else?"

"And my roommate Kathy was there, but she didn't see anything."

"You took your roommate patrolling with you?"

"Well, I invited the whole dorm, but she was the only one that could make it," for some strange reason Giles looked at Buffy thinking she was serious, which made the Slayer roll her eyes, "I told her I was going for coffee and she decided to tag along."

Giles, not missing a beat, responded, "right, well, we should discourage her from that habit," he then looked to Eris, "you were not present on patrolling?"

"I was busy."

Buffy snorted, "practising unsafe sex."

"Giles does not need to know that!"

"No, I really don't," Giles sighed and resisted the urge to rub his temples, he swore a headache formed ever time the girls were in the same room together, "so, from what you describe, I'm not familiar with the creature, but I'll look into it and give you a ring when I've found something."

Giles had gotten up to leave for his home, however Buffy seemed to have other plans, "you know, its nice out here."

"Yes. I take my tea out here sometimes."

"What are you doing today?" Giles slowed to a stop and turned to Buffy same as Eris did, somewhat puzzled by the sudden question.

"Uh, it's a big day for me, actually. A friend of mine recently acquired an original Gutenberg Demonography and it suddenly occurs to me that you've never once asked me what my day's plans were, which would lead me to inquire whether you're feeling entirely yourself."

"That's not true. I ask about you all the time," Eris and Giles still held their puzzled look, "okay, well, maybe the words don't actually make it out of my mouth, but I think about it."

"And it's appreciated. Still doesn't explain why you're hanging around here," he then looked at Eris, "or why you brought your cousin along."

"One day you'll appreciate my presence Giles," Eris said chipperly, knowing full well about the old man's views on her. He didn't hate her or dislike her, but he most definitely saw her as another chaotic child that would get herself into danger like all the other members of the Scooby gang do, which would then fall on him to get her out of it.

"One day," He replied offhandedly, "I expected you to rush off once you got the information you needed, Buffy."

Buffy shrugged as she looked at her pineapple smoothie, "its no big, I just figured I'd hang here, you know, until my roommate goes to class."

"Ahh I see."

"Is that why you dragged me here too?"

"I know, it's probably just me having a bitch attack. But its not…me."

"Buffy, living with somebody is never easy. Especially for an only child-"

"Giles listen to me, okay?" Buffy interrupted sharply, "when she sharpens her pencils, she measures them with a ruler to make sure they're all the same size."

Eris gasped, "diabolical."

"Not diabolical," Giles corrected, "simply fussy, but everybody has their idiosyncrasies. You'd do well to learn to tolerate them, Buffy."

"Or I'll end up an old lady who can only live with cats?"

"Something like that."

Buffy, now encouraged by Giles, words, stood up from her chair with a confident look on her face, "okay, you know what, you're right. Take a mental pic. This is the new Buffy: Kinder, gentler, roommate extraordinaire."

Eris crossed her arms as she leant back on her chair, "I don't believe that for a second."

"Shut up."

It took another hour of convincing Buffy to go back to campus before Eris could be free. Despite her display of the new kinder Buffy, the Slayer remembered Kathy's little ticks that drove her mad and that made her instead try to convince Eris to go on a shopping spree to have more time to stay away, which Eris would have loved if she didn't know the reason behind it.

Instead, she spent the rest of the day watching Buffy getting almost murderously angry at Kathy for the smallest of things, though getting ketchup stains on her jacket is cause for rage.

Now Eris was in her dorm, freshly out of the shower with a towel wrapped around her waist. It was nighttime so many of the other dorm members were busy talking or nestling in to their own beds to get ready for another day of study and classes so she was able to speed through the corridor without any possible peeps of her goods.

Once at her room, she slipped in and shut the door, only to jump at the sound of a deep voice from within, "I didn't pick you for public nudity, pet."

With a yelp, Eris made sure to hold onto the towel tightly as she whipped around to see Spike lounging on her bed, her romance novel held lazily in one of his hands as he idly skimmed through the pages. "No one noticed- that's not really important, how did you know where I live?"

The vampire placed the book on the nightstand to his right and gave her a smirk, "well I know you're a college girl, so all I needed was to come here and follow my nose."

"Your nose? You mean you can smell where I am?" she remained at the door, clutching her towel like a lifeline or something to give her comfort, which was hard to find as she was extremely on edge. Fucking him was one thing, but she never thought he'd find where she lived.

"Yes, your scent is unique, I'm able to find it quite easily," he placed his hands in his lap and looked to her expectantly, "aren't you going to get dressed, you wouldn't want to catch a cold wearing just a towel."

"A towel is just fine, thank you" she said sternly, "I'm not exactly comfortable with finding you in my room, which begs the question why are you in my room?"

"How quickly you've forgotten," he said with a chuckle, "I did say if I wanted you, I will have you, and you will let me, did it?" she nodded slowly, "well right now, I want you, so you're going to be a good little pet and let me."

"I'm not sure…"

"Come now darling, let's not repeat this. You know you want me…" he began to pat his lap, "so drop that towel, and let me have my fun." Eris hesitated, but knowing he was right, as always, she let her towel drop so he could see her naked body. She had no idea why she let him tell her what to do, maybe fear? Or perhaps she was turned on by being letting him control what she does. The idea of a vampire finding her desirable was empowering, and its not something she particularly wanted to give up, even if she knew it was a bad idea.

Spike licked his lips and took in every inch of her soft, warm flesh which made her arousal spike, "that wasn't so hard, now come here pet."

She listened obediently and allowed Spike to do whatever he wanted to her body for the rest of the night.
