"Where did you get this?" Motoko asked Hiromi with a disturbing intensity, while staring at the old and dusty object she was playing around with.
"Just a bunch of junk my dad has been told to get rid of from some very ancient oil platforms..." Hiromi said casually, only to freeze at the look Motoko gave her."
"Hiromi..." Motoko started with a pleading look, that conveyed longing, and that caused her to know she would give her whatever or whoever she asked for.
Staring at the tall cylinder in front of her, Hiromi wondered if she made a mistake allowing Motoko to convince her to buy out all that junk that he was supposed to get rid of.
"So how are you doing today?" Asked the cylinder which apparently contained an AI, who was actually a good listener. Especially when it came to her romantic issues.
"Better than yesterday..." Hiromi responded trying to ignore the apparent argument between the Tachikoma Motoko made, and the new...Walkoma. Yes the weird walking machines put you into an uncomfortable position, but rebuilding it to house what looked kind of like a large Tachikoma was a bit much.
She also tried not to notice the wicked laughter of Motoko as she found more and more data, and managed to put it back together.
Why she wanted this stuff from a failed PMC from the past had confused her, until Motoko started doing stuff with what she found. She kind of hated these Diamond Dogs, but also admired how they had run their business. It was kind of confusing.
