Chapter 2
Previously on Kingdom Hearts 2 RWBY...
Team RWBY had secured the Lamp of Knowledge, but something strange happened. The lamp began glowing, pulsing with mysterious markings, and in an instant, everything changed. The team found themselves scattered across a strange, unfamiliar world.
Blake Belladonna faced off against a mysterious woman cloaked in black, but the encounter ended in disaster. Overpowered and outmatched, Blake was captured, with her captor hinting at a dark plan in motion.
Elsewhere, Yang Xiao Long searched frantically for her teammates, only to cross paths with another cloaked figure—a man whose calm demeanor belied a dangerous intensity.
Now, Yang must face this enigmatic adversary. Will she uncover the answers she seeks, or will she fall just like Blake?
Yang froze as the blue-haired man spoke, his tone calm yet unsettling.
"You know Raven? My mother?" Yang demanded, her voice tinged with disbelief.
"Yes..." the man replied smoothly, his piercing yellow eyes locked onto hers. "The Organization knows many secrets—far more than you realize. That includes your world and its hidden truths."
Yang's fists clenched instinctively as her temper flared. "Who are you, and what do you want?"
The man stepped forward, the faint metallic clink of his weapon echoing ominously. "My name is Saïx. I have no interest in pleasantries. I was tasked with testing your strength—seeing for myself if you are worthy."
He raised his weapon—a brutal, spiked claymore that gleamed under the dim light. "Show me what you are capable of."
Yang hesitated for a moment, uneasy about this sudden challenge. "What are you talking about? Testing me? I don't even know who you are, and I sure as hell didn't sign up for this."
But Saïx remained unmoved. "It matters not. Either fight, or fall where you stand."
Yang's eyes narrowed as she assumed her fighting stance, Ember Celica snapping into place on her wrists. "Fine. If it's a fight you want, you've got one."
The air around them grew thick with tension as Saïx took his own stance, gripping his claymore tightly. His calm façade flickered for a moment, revealing a hint of something primal—a beast lurking beneath the surface.
Yang and Saïx charged at each other, the clash of their weapons reverberating through the air. Saïx swung his massive claymore in a wide arc, but Yang intercepted the blow with her robotic arm. Sparks flew on impact, and she retaliated with a point-blank shotgun blast from her gauntlet, the force sending Saïx skidding backward.
He grunted as he steadied himself, his hand briefly brushing his chest where the blast had struck. The damage was evident, but he remained unfazed, his strength and resilience keeping him upright.
Yang quickly reloaded, her movements swift and precise. She unleashed a flurry of shotgun rounds, the explosive sound echoing in the empty streets. Saïx raised his claymore, using it as a shield. A few shells grazed him, leaving shallow marks, but he pressed forward undeterred.
Closing the gap, Saïx swung his claymore again with immense force. Yang blocked with her arm once more, but the impact sent her hurtling into a nearby wall. The building cracked from the collision as she slumped to the ground, coughing from the force.
Shaking off the daze, Yang slowly rose. Her hair began to glow, strands igniting like golden flames, and her crimson eyes blazed with intensity. Her semblance had activated, the stored energy from every hit she'd taken now fueling her strength.
She launched herself forward, fists flying in a blur. Her punches connected with brutal precision, each one landing harder than the last. Saïx stumbled as the assault intensified, culminating in a devastating left hook to his head. The force sent him sprawling across the ground, carving a trail through the cracked concrete before he finally came to a stop.
For a moment, everything was still. Saïx lay motionless, the side of his head bleeding, a thin stream of crimson trailing down his face. Then, he stirred.
A low growl escaped his lips, growing louder with each breath. His body trembled as his breaths became ragged.
"GRRR...RRRRR...RRRAAAAAAHHH!" Saïx roared, his voice erupting into an animalistic howl. His hair ignited with an otherworldly blue fire, and the scar across his face twisted and expanded, jagged edges marking his transformation.
Yang took a step back, her bravado faltering for just a moment. "Oh no..." she muttered, her voice tinged with nervous humor. "I really screwed up this time."
Saïx dashed forward with unrelenting speed, his claymore a blur. Before Yang could react, the force of his strike sent her crashing into another building. Her aura protected her from the worst of it, but the impact left her dazed.
Without pause, Saïx grabbed her by the head, his grip ironclad. He dragged her upward along the building's facade, debris flying as her aura flickered under the strain. At the top, he roared, his rage shaking the air, before hurling her downward with monstrous force.
Yang plummeted, smashing through floor after floor, her momentum unrelenting until she hit the ground. Dust covered the area as she stands up dazzed.
("What happen to him? He was calm one second then turned into a beast..") Yang thinks to herself.
Just then Siax lands next to her and just as he stands up Yang throws multiple hard punches at him however he seems unfazed by the attacks.
Eventually he grabs one of her attacks with his hand then slams his head into hers, giving her a hard headbut causing her head to ring unable to think and barely stand.
("He took the hits and shrugged them like it was nothing. What is this guy?")
Then he fallows up with another swing from his Claymore knocking her out of the building as she slides across the ground stunned and unable to stand.
Her body battered and bruised. Blood trickled from her lip, matching the smudged red of her lipstick.
Groaning, she attempts to stand on her feet, only for Saïx to walk over to her.
But this time, he stood still. The fire in his eyes dimmed, his demeanor shifting to calculated calm.
"You're strong, Xiao Long," Saïx said, his voice cold yet deliberate. "Your ability to endure and retaliate is remarkable. But you lack the strength and speed to challenge me."
Yang clenched her fists, teeth gritted.
"I'll let you go," Saïx continued. "Grow stronger and your sister may need your help, considering your loyalty to family... unlike Raven."
His words stung, but Yang forced herself to stand. "You keep mentioning Raven... Why?" she asked through labored breaths.
Saïx ignored the question. Instead, he offered one final remark: "Cherish your friends and family. Be loyal. Don't discard them for petty reasons. You might lose them someday...It happen to me once..."
With that, he vanished into the shadows, leaving Yang confused and determined. Shaking off the pain, she limped forward, seeking Ruby.
The rhythmic clack of Weiss's leather boots on the pavement was the only sound in the still, unfamiliar streets. She clutched Myrtenaster tightly, her gaze darting around as she searched for any sign of her team.
A voice, calm and youthful, cut through the silence.
"Far from the comforts of the mansion, aren't you, Schnee?"
Weiss spun around, her sharp eyes locking onto a young man with blue hair, flipping through a large book. He couldn't have been older than sixteen, yet his presence was unnerving.
"You... know the Schnee name?" Weiss demanded.
The boy smirked, his gaze not leaving the pages. "Oh, I know all about your family's legacy—a businessman marrying into the Schnees, twisting the company into a profit-driven machine. Odd, really. In most traditions, the woman takes the man's name, but I suppose Jacques Schnee isn't much for convention... or compassion for his slaves."
Weiss's grip tightened on her rapier. "Shut up and tell me who you are!"
Finally closing the book, the boy's smirk widened. "My name is Zexion. And I'm here to see if you're a fighter... or just a spoiled brat with a problematic history of slavery."
Weiss's eyes flared with anger. "I'm more than a name!"
Zexion chuckled, snapping his fingers. The air around them distorted, then suddenly some slender silver beings start appearing out of nothing. "We'll see about that." He says with a cocky smile.
Weiss looks around seeing she is surrounded by these weird monsters but raises her Rapier and stabs a couple that jump at her.
However more start overrunning her so she uses her semblance and summons a a tall ghostly knight with a huge sword as it cleaves through the monsters.
"Hmmm. Seems your summons do more of your fighting. How interesting. Maybe you are as much as a passive fighter as me?" Zexion taunts just standing behind her.
Weiss quickly looks behind her and uses her glyph to dash over and stab him in his stomach.
But when she stabs him she sees no blood or any reaction of him.
"HMP! Did you think I would let myself be open to an attack?" He asks as he vanishes and turns into mist.
"An illusion?" Weiss asks looking around her area trying to find him.
Suddenly, the world around Weiss shifted. The buildings warped, the ground dissolved into a swirling void, and a labyrinth of bookshelves rose in every direction. Weiss turned in a circle, trying to ground herself, but it was as if she had been dropped into another dimension.
"Welcome to my library," Zexion's voice echoed from everywhere and nowhere at once. "I hope you enjoy puzzles, Schnee, because brute strength won't help you here."
Weiss set her jaw, summoning a glyph under her feet to propel herself upward. From the height, she hoped to get a better sense of her surroundings, but the maze stretched endlessly in all directions.
Zexion's voice came again, mocking. "Looking for an escape? That's adorable."
A sudden rustling sound drew Weiss's attention. She turned to see several Dusks slithering between the shelves, their eerie movements a sharp contrast to her precise, disciplined stance. With a flourish, Weiss activated her semblance, summoning multiple glyphs to hold her position mid-air as the Dusks leapt at her.
She swings her Raiper knocking them away, however a human sized dragon like nobody charges at her knocking her out of mid air, falling onto the ground.
She gets back up as the dragon swoops down for an attack, but she uses more of her strength to summon the white knight and slash at the dragon, defeating it in a single slash!
Just the she hears a slow clap behind her.
"Well done Schnee. You took out most of my nobodies. Sham you can't summon them with your semblance even after defeating them."
Weiss just gets mad hearing his repetitive taunts and just fires dust fire at him, though it was no use for it went through him, proving to be another illusion.
Just then Weiss falls to her knees, using her weapon to hold herself up.
"STOP HIDING AND SHOW YOURSELF!" She yells enraged and frustrated.
"As you wish Ice Queen." She hears a the voice speak fallowed by a snap of a finger.
Just then some silver chains come out of the ground and lock themselves onto Weiss, her arms chained behind her back, along with her ankles and neck being chained up as she struggles to move.
Weiss screamed in frustration as chains of light erupted from the ground, snaking around her arms and legs with unnatural precision. She struggled, her aura flaring desperately, but the bindings tightened with each movement. Her breathing quickened, anger and panic mixing in her chest.
"Let me go!" she shouted, her voice raw.
As Weiss struggles against the chains, her aura flickering dangerously low, Zexion steps forward, his tone calm but condescending.
"You're formidable, Weiss Schnee. But you fight like someone trying to prove something... rather than someone who truly believes in their strength."
Weiss glares at him, still struggling. "I'll prove you wrong!"
Zexion shakes his head, "If only you had fought with Neptune. Then you might of stood a chance." He says pulling out some white cloth from his coat and wrapping it around her mouth as she struggles to move away from it.
"This was never about winning or losing. It was about seeing what kind of person you are." Zexion says liking how he sees Weiss right now, her struggling to speak and move in her chains.
The arena dissolves back into the quiet streets as he picks her up and starts walking away.
"Don't worry Weiss. The Organazation has plans for you and your team..." Zexion says as they head for the Organazation's base...
Ruby walked cautiously through the shadowy streets of the unfamiliar world, her boots clicking against the stone. The air felt heavy and strange, like it carried a secret she couldn't decipher. Her head swam with unease, the surreal atmosphere both enchanting and unsettling. Crescent Rose rests on her back, its familiar weight her only comfort in this alien place.
A flutter of pink caught her eye. Petals—soft and delicate—danced on the wind, glowing faintly in the dim light. One drifted close, tantalizingly within reach. She extended her hand toward it, her fingers brushing the air...
But the petal darted away, as if alive.
Ruby's gaze followed it, and her breath caught. A man stood ahead, clad in black, his hood down to reveal soft, pink flowing hair. He caught the petal effortlessly, letting it settle on his palm before revealing a single, perfect rose alongside it.
"Are they not beautiful?" he mused, his voice smooth and calm. "These flowers, so delicate, so full of promise. They symbolize love and admiration... yet, they can harm you if handled carelessly."
His tone darkened, his hand tightening around the rose. Thorns pierced his flesh, blood drops staining the pink petals, but he remained expressionless, as if the pain meant nothing.
"They are just like you," he continued, his icy blue eyes locking onto hers. "And your mother... Ruby Rose."
Ruby felt her breath hitch, she grabs her sythe off her back and holds it in a defensive way.
"Who are you? And how do you know my Mom?" Ruby asks hesitantly yet firm.
The man smirked, crushing the flower completely as the petals disintegrated into a swirl of pink light. "My name is Marluxia... As for the knowledge about your mother...You will have to show me your thorns...Show you are not a delicete and can be a good leader." He says summoning his sythe from pink roses as it forms in his hand. Ready for an intense battle.
If you enjoyed this chapter please give a review. And now for for some Q and A.
From Terry, he asks is this a continuation from the last story? Unfortunately no, I was still very new to Kingdom Hearts at the time of writing the story so I didn't know where I was going. Now that I have played a lot more I want to write this as a better focused narrative.
From Shadowlight, they ask. Do I still write smut stories and DC stories? I don't really find myself wanting to write smut anymore due to it just not being my writing style, but for DC yes. I am working on a new one.
Next from Kaylamoon5678, I absolutely love your suggestions, and I will make sure to have some team bonding. So I appreciate it!
Next from Lucy and SaralovesDC, Don't worry, none of the RWBY girls are getting keyblades, They have their weapons so should stay true to the characters. Also yes all of RWBY will be equally important. So no favoritism.
Next how do Keyblades messaure to RWBY? I would say very high! They not only are super sharp and blunt at the same time, but also can use magic, a rare thing in RWBY, and even close off other worlds and have been shown to deafeat gods like Hercules, Hades, Seapheroith, and the Titans, and other Final Fanstay Characters. So extremely powerful in RWBY.
As for Luxu. I'm not sure. But don't worry. Organaztion 13 will be very important.
Next as for what timeline this takes place. For Kingdom Hearts it's Kingdom Hearts 2 near the end of the game, and for RWBY it was after Vol 5 finished.
For Kansho, Let's just say this is KH2. You will find out soon enough.
Lastly from Captain Imaginat. No their is only going to be the World That Never Was. Maleficent is not going to have a role in the story. To many characters. And princesses of heart. Only one will be important.
But yea. Thank you all for reading. See you all in the next chapter.
