"So... What myths about vampires can you tell me are true?" Lincoln asked Sibella as she walked to a punch bowl and looked inside; her finger motioning for Lincoln to come and see for himself. Lincoln looked and just saw his reflection... And nothing else.
Lucy's mouth was wide open in awe as the Loud sisters thought that she was about to become more excited than they had ever seen her; Lincoln watched with smiles along with Charlie and Vaggie with Sibella looking in amusement at the reaction of Lincoln's goth sister. the Louds couldn't help but be amazed as well with Lisa muttering muttering about how impossible the reflection thing would be and tried to rationalise it in her head.
Lincoln was in awe and then Sibella then transformed into a bat and then back again with him open mouthed. "Wow... A real life vampire... Lucy will be so jealous if she ever finds out..." Lincoln said and his face fell upon thinking of his sister.
"My brother is friends with Dracula's daughter... How could I not..." Lucy then muttered.
Lincoln then put on a smile as Sibella looked concern; "Apologies but are you alright?" Sibella asked concerned as Lincoln waved it off.
"Don't worry... Wait; if you are a vampire... Will you want to suck my blood?" Lincoln asked suddenly afraid as Sibella giggled.
The Loud parents became worried but Sibella looked at them reassuringly and shook her head with Vaggie taking Lincoln closer hearing about that fear for a second he had.
"Don't worry about it... I don't forcibly drink the blood of others; though I wonder what human and angel blood tastes like... Just kidding..." Sibella then said as she then giggled once more as Lincoln looked nervous so she had to clarify.
"Should see about helping him grow self confidence and not be afraid like that..." Lilith muttered to Lucifer and he nodded with them thinking about what to talk with the daughter about or to do in grandparent and grandchild bonding time.
"You are not used to the royal life; I don't suppose you were one as a human?" Sibella asked as Lincoln shook his head.
"Just plain old Lincoln Loud back home; only son with 10 sisters." Lincoln said with Sibella amazed.
"Could you imagine if he was a duke..." Lola whispered as Lincoln and the Louds were amazed about how things had changed for Lincoln in such a short time.
"Didn't think that families get that big anymore in humans..." Sibella muttered as Lincoln then laughed.
The angels looked amused and the Louds laughed at this with Sibella still looking amused.
"Prince Stolas! Plus this must be little Octavia; you are growing..." Charlie said greeting a tall owl demon in royal clothing and a teenager that looked liked a younger girl version of him in gothic clothing who just put up a hand as if to wave while sighing.
"Here comes Octavia." Lincoln said smiling along with Sibella as the Louds and angels looked his way while Lucy was in thought. "The other friend around me age that I made in Hell." Lincoln explained.
"How is she like?" Lori decided to ask as Lincoln continued his smile.
"Some baggage from home but she's rather nice when you give her the chance..." Lincoln explained thinking that it wasn't his place to tell about her family drama.
Stolas however eagerly greeted Charlie by the hand. "Lincoln; this is Octavia daughter of Prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia." Charlie said introducing them to Lincoln.
"So that's Stolas... I read about him the Owl Demon of the Ars Goetia." Lucy then said astonished as the Louds looked her way.
"Let's pretend that we have not idea what this Ars Go... Whatever is..." Lynn Jr then said as as Lucy sighed.
"Lower Hell nobility..." Lucifer said shrugging as Sibella sighed.
"With the biggest high society snobs that you can imagine..." Sibella then said shaking her head as Charlie sighed.
"Yeah... Even at their best... most of them are... Fucking awful." Charlie forced herself to admit.
"But Octavia and her dad are cool." Lincoln then said as Sibella nodded.
"It's nice to meet you young prince and Octavia; please say hello." Stolas said smiling as Octavia then said it.
"Nice to meet you as well... Hold on... The Morningstar royal family rules over all of hell and yet there are lesser royals?" Lincoln asked confused as Sibella snickered and Octavia looked amused.
"How does that work?" Lincoln decided to ask looking towards Lucifer and Lilith with more looks coming their way.
"I don't really remember... A long fucking time ago and most of the time; I don't care enough about the affairs of the demons as long as they listen to me as their king... Maybe Satan would know better how that ended up..." Lucifer said with a sigh as this got looks.
"So how did you get sent here to Hell from the living world? Word is that there was a botched ritual that sent you here." Octavia asked as Lincoln sighed.
Lucy put her head down looking guilty as her sisters pulled her in and Lincoln gave her a reassuring smile; he was kind of glad that the ritual happened.
"Yeah... One of my sisters is a goth and she and her friends wanted to summon the king of the ream of darkness; I was in the way and got sent here by mistake and infused with Charlie's energy." Lincoln then explained and then remembered about Haiku. "Plus one of her friends... Is in love with your dad Sibella..." Lincoln said as Sibella frowned and Octavia snickered.
"Off course... How do I explain this to her and the rest of our friends..." Lucy said out loud.
"I don't think that I even want to imagine..." Lincoln said as everyone else was looking awkward at this.
"Hold on... Someone named their fucking kid Haiku?" Angel Dust then said as he got looks.
"Pretty sure it's a nickname..." Husk then told him.
"I don't know how I feel about that..." Sibella said as she then spotted in the crowds a snow goose demon in a dress giving her a thumbs up and Octavia sighed.
"Oh this..." Lincoln said sharing a frown with Sibella.
"Who's that?" Emily asked first as Lincoln and Sibella looked her way.
"Octavia's mother... Just listen..." Sibella said as they then frowned at the tone she was using.
"Are you okay Octavia?" Sibella asked as she and Lincoln looked concerned.
"Just my Mum... Been pressuring me to make a good first impression with the new prince... Try and put my name forward a future possible queen of all of Hell..." Octavia sighed as Lincoln was surprised.
They then took this in awkwardly; "Just how many demons in Hell wanting to take advantage of my son's new status..." Rita asked shaking her head.
"But I'm a kid and you're years older..." Lincoln muttered out as Octavia scoffed at his question.
Lincoln got looks at this.
"You don't know how arranged marriages worked; especially in royalty in medieval times." Sera asked as Lincoln just sat awkwardly.
"My mum makes time to see me out of fighting with my dad over the imp he's sleeping with and it's to pressure me to put myself as a suitor..." Octavia said as Lincoln frowned feeling sorry for her as they then heard fiddle music as there was Satan playing.
Just about everyone else blinked and they looked that way. "Yeah... Word had been going around between the marriage of Octavia's marriage falling apart lately since this affair and... Well..." Sibella said and decided to not say any more.
"Stolas is cheating on his wife and is supposed to be one of the better Ars... What it is?" Lori asked shaking her head as Charlie then turned to her.
"Before you judge; you don't know what they get up to and I heard that the marriage was a forced arranged one." Charlie said matter of factly that got Lori silent.
Plus Beelzebub giving out cotton candy sticks to the younger demons and he eagerly accepted the one she offered to him. He definitely loved the previous one.
Lincoln smiled as the Loud sisters looked at him in envy as well. "If Belle and Leviathan are not careful; Bee could become Lincoln's favourite great aunt." Lilith whispered to Lucifer who was amused by this.
Sibella and Octavia accepted it; "So what's it like being in the upper crust here in Hell?" Lincoln asked as Octavia sighed and Sibella shrugged.
"Oh come on... You are in the upper crust and a princess of vampires..." Lola said as Sibella looked at her incredulously and more came to give the preteen looks. Lincoln just sighed as Lola was unsure about what she said being wrong.
"Can be a lot..." Sibella said as Octavia shook her head.
"That's putting it lightly... Having to go to these parties and then make a good impression on the families..." Octavia then said as Lincoln spotted Lucifer and Lilith greeting a couple of grey skinned demons.
"Here it comes..." groaned Charlie into her hands as almost everyone stared at her and Vaggie took her arm.
"Bethesda! Frederick! Nice of you to join us old friends!" Lucifer called out and this caught Charlie's attention as she was suddenly worried.
"Sad things turned out so badly between Charlie and their kids..." Lucifer told Lilith and they sighed.
"Let me guess; your ex and his sister's parents?" Sera then said as Charlie groaned out some more as Lincoln braced himself to hearing about that incident again.
"Oh fuck no... If they are here now then their kids..." Charlie said as then coming up to Lincoln was a smirking young adult demon with green skin and a dark green suit. "Here's the ex that I told you about..." Charlie whispered to Vaggie who was concerned and then became even more so. Charlie put on her smile as she greeted him saying "Seviathan; it's been a while... Lincoln; this is Seviathan who I told you about..."
"I thought that was one of the Sins?" Leni then said as Charlie shook her head.
"No that's Leviathan but the names are similar; I will give you that." Charlie clarified.
Seviathan grinned as he forcibly took Lincoln's hand and said "I see that you have told him about me... Just think that if things worked out between us; then he would be calling me 'Dad' right now." Charlie and Vaggie looked awkward as Lincoln frowned.
Awkward looks at this and Lynn Sr then frowned.
"No one I would rather be with nor raise Lincoln with than you..." Charlie whispered into Vaggie's ear and she smiled in return,
"Plus I see that you were on the rebound... Vaggie isn't it? I heard that you spent your first years in Hell sleeping around..." Seviathan said as Charlie and Vaggie looked angry.
"Yeah... It wasn't a civil amicable breakup was it..." Lori said as Charlie shook her head as just about everyone was glaring at this and Emily gasped out loud. Charlie was furious as she took Vaggie close to her.
"Yeah... He should have been taught a lesson for that..." Lilith then whispered to her husband and he nodded.
Lincoln however had his eyes widened.
"Watch what you say about Vaggie!" Charlie snapped as there was a mocking laughter as the sound of it caused Charlie's horns to snap up as there was a demon whose white hair was covering her eye. "Hello... Helsa..." Charlie muttered out as if disgusted to say the name.
"I. Hate. Her. So. Goddamn. Much!" Charlie snapped out loud as they then became extremely tense.
"I shouldn't be too surprised that you got a filthy sinner as a new plaything and one who probably slept with half of the Pentagram before you found her!" Helsa taunted as Vaggie then snapped at Helsa in Spanish.
Strong glares at this and things became more tense as Charlie looked to be more angry at the reminde.
"Shut your fucking mouth about Vaggie as she is twenty times the woman you will ever be; you stuck up bitch!" Charlie yelled at Helsa as they then began shouting at eachother with Vaggie trying to drag her away.
"Was a sight..." Sibella muttered as they just kept on listening as Charlie had her head down.
Lincoln looked embarrassed and looked around wondering why everyone was acting like it's normal;
Almost everyone blinked; "Yeah always something happening at these parties..." Charlie then said as Lucifer and Lilith nodded.
"Don't worry... They always fight at these parties... Still I can get if you feel embarrassed... You should see Dad after a few too many blood wines..." Sibella said as Octavia nodded.
"4 minutes. That's the record of how long I have seen those 2 in the same room without getting into a fight of some sort." Sibella said halfway between amusement or shaking her head since she was reminded of what sparked this.
"Plus my parents arguing about my father's affair..." Octavia muttered out as Lincoln sighed.
"Still... I kind of hope that Charlie shows that Helsa girl what for..." Lincoln said as she watched the arguing with them both as it turned to them shoving eachother.
"She did." Lincoln said nodding as just about everyone was satisfied by this but most also felt weird once again hearing about what happened when Charlie's bad side was met.
"So while we are slaughtering the souls of sinners by the hundreds... You want us to be on the lookout for this kid?" Adam asked in Sera's office as he was looking at a photo of Lincoln along with his file.
"Ah yes... This meeting... Couldn't imagine how spectacularly this backfired..." Sera said putting her face into her hands as Charlie, Vaggie, Lincoln, Angel Dust and the royal couple tensed at the memory and the royal couple then gave looks at Sera.
"What happened..." Emily asked as there were silence at this.
"Yes Adam; he is stuck somewhere in Hell and his safe retrieval is to be your top priority during the next Extermination." Sera said with dead seriousness and Adam continues looking at the photo.
"So I find him and you bring him back to his family?" Adam asked as Sera sighed catching his attention.
"Why did you answer like that..." Rita then shouted out loud as the Louds had a bad feeling about this with Lincoln becoming tense. The angels said nothing.
"Bring him to Heaven as from his stay in Hell; he will need time to recover in a safe space... Emily will be relieved to find him safe and sound and will probably volunteer to help him recovers... Then we will start to discuss about where to send him back on Earth as his family... That's a matter on a need to know basis..." Sera then said as Adam looked at his folder and was open mouthed.
"What? Hell wants to keep our baby from us and now Heaven was planning to do the same?" screamed out loud the Loud parents at once with Lincoln blinking along with almost everyone else. Emily had her face down looking guilty as Sera looked firm as the Louds looked her way.
"How bad is it..." Sibella asked frowning along with several others and Lincoln couldn't meet his friend's face.
"Whoa... Looks like my girls and I will one day be exterminating his folks and sisters in Hell one day..." Adam said as Sera then coughed to get his attention.
"What... How dare he?" Rita snapped as Sera then coughed and there were looks to this. "What... Are you insinuating? How dare you?" Rita snapped as Sera didn't look guilty at this at all and stayed firm.
"I should give one of my special pranks to you..." Luan snapped as Sera gave her a look.
"If I had to list the ones of your family likely to go to Hell in order; you would be at the top Ms Luan. Do you realise how dangerous your pranks are? Especially on April the 1st; so many near fatalities and near serious injuries. It was one of the reasons why Lincoln was put on the list to get a guardian angel. One death thanks to your 'pranks' that only you find funny and I'm sure Azrael would scratch you off from ever having a chance at being in front of the gates." Sera said firmly as Luan and the Louds were speechless about this.
Luan was muttering out denials as Lincoln was open mouthed and frowned; but try as he might he couldn't refute that he never felt safe ever on April the 1st. The other Louds felt similar even as they tried to comfort Luan.
Things were tense as eyes were widened at what Sera said and Sibella looked towards Lincoln who was pulled into an embrace by Charlie and Vaggie.
"Back on topic... Can I count on you to lead the Exorcists to do this?" Sera asked as Adam grinned.
"Don't worry Sera; my descendant will be returned safe and sound... His safety is my priority as he is still a human and he exists thanks to dees nuts." Adam said confidently as he then pointed to his groin with both hands as Sera raised both eyebrows at him.
They blinked at what they heard.
"Are you sure that you're reading that right..." Lynn Sr asked thinking he would never hear something like that from someone that churches teach about in the story of the Garden of Eden.
"No. He really said that." Sera forced herself to admit.
"Now you can imagine how I hated every second I spent married to the bastard." Lilith said with a strong glare.
"That's the first man ever..." Lana asked.
"I am beginning to see where most of humanity's problems started..." Lisa stated.
"Thank you Adam. You are Dismissed." Sera then said as Adam floated out of the room. "I need a drink..." Sera muttered going to her own personal fridge full of wine.
"I bet you need to drink a lot after talking with Adam..." teased Lucifer to Sera who moved her head away from him but didn't deny what he said.
The party was over and Charlie was red in the face as she directed Lincoln and Vaggie to the limo; "I am so sorry about what you saw in there... Helsa brings out the worst in me..." Charlie muttered out apologetically as Vaggie put her hand on her shoulder.
"Yeah... That fight did get a lot more chaotic..." Lincoln said as Charlie looked embarrassed as she got looks.
"Don't worry about it Charlie... It was hot when you had the bitch in that headlock..." Vaggie then said as Lincoln was looking at the new numbers on his phone that included Octavia and Sibella. "I saw that you made new friends Lincoln." Vaggie said with a smile and Charlie was jumping with joy as Lincoln nodded.
"At least he is making friends besides a porn star down there..." Rita tod her husband and he nodded.
"First friends I made here that's close to my age... I think... Still; more friends besides Angel." Lincoln then said as Vaggie patted him on the back.
"Good that you get to have more friends besides the porn star who dials down the sex jokes when you're around..." Vaggie said as she then realised what she said as Charlie gasped.
"Is this where you told..." Rita asked uneasily to Charlie and Vaggie as Angel Dust snickered as Lincoln had told this story to him later.
"I am sorry Lori." Lincoln said out loud realising what was coming confusing everyone else but then a thought came to Lori...
"I know what sex is Vaggie... A year ago my oldest sister Lori was babysitting my sisters and I... I had the remote and I found this show called Ghost Fuckers that I didn't know about but was wondering about it as I love ghost shows.. I asked Lori if I could watch it when I saw the rating and she dismissively said yes as she was on the phone with her boyfriend... She looked as the show was done and she was in a panic and then gave me fifty bucks to not speak a word about it to our parents." Lincoln said as Vaggie and Charlie's eyes widened at the story.
Silence at this and the Loud sisters all turned to Lori who was shrinking in her seat looking in a nervous panic as she then tried to laugh.
"You see... Bobby had such a story... And..." Lori tried to explain herself as her parents slowly turned to her.
"So that's the shriek of panic that i thought that I heard from her came from..." Lynn Jr whispered to Luna who gulped and the Loud sisters wanted to be away from the eruption...
"LORI LOUD! YOU ARE SO GROUNDED!" shouted the Loud parents at once sternly as Lori gulped and Lincoln sighed shaking his head.
"Wow..." Sibella muttered to the story.
"You witnessed that show Lincoln... I am surprised that it didn't mess you up..." Emily said wide eyed and concerned as Lincoln shrugged.
Lincoln then remembered the host and how her voice sounded like it could be like Charlie's.
Lincoln snickered remembering that thought of his.
"Well then... Glad that we didn't have to go over the birds and the bees..." Vaggie then said sounding relieved as she was not looking forward to that as they got into the limo.
"Yeah... I was not looking forward to that at all..." Vaggie then said as things were tense.
"Two more chapters I think and we can take another break..." Gabriel then said as he then gave them a moment to relax as he then continued to read.
