I do not own any of the characters except for Arabella.

~Arabella's POV~

I was sitting at one of the courtyard tables with Jack when Jerry, Eddie, and Milton walked over with some Chinese food.

"Boy, this chinese food is terrible." Eddie complained.

"Well, what'd you expect from a place called "the scabby dragon"?" Milton asked rhetorically.

"I'll take one of these fortune cookies. Hard to mess them up." Jack said as he took one and broke it to read the fortune, "You are about to embark on an exciting journey."

"No need to worry! You will always have everything that you need. Oh, that's interesting." I said as I readied my fortune.

"Oh sweet, dude. That's a good ones." Jerry said.

"These fortunes are just a dumb gimmick to take your mind off how the cookies look and taste like an old man's ear."

Jack walked toward the dojo, "I will be take that." As I take his cookie and eat it. It was delicious. I followed behind Jack into the dojo.

When we walked in both Rudy and Kim were standing there with huge smiles, "What's going on?" I asked slowly.

"This came in the mail today." Rudy shook a paper in front of Jack's face and I quickly realized what it was.

He took it and read over it slowly a huge smile crept on his face, "I'm going to China!" he handed me the paper and I smirked reading it.

"We have to tell the others." Kim ran out of the dojo and over to the others. She quickly came back in with them.

Don't you get all tough with me, I'm saying won't you come kick it with me? and we can have a ball, run up the wall, this is how we do, and no matter how much, I chop and punch, it's not as cool as kickin' it with you.

Here we go, let's start the party, chop it up like it's karate.

everybody, don't you get all tough with me, I'm saying won't you come kick it with me? and we can have a ball, run up the wall, this is how we do, and no matter how much I chop and punch, it's not as cool as kickin' it with you.

"I cannot believe this." Jack said excitedly, "I am going to the Junior World Martial Arts Championships in China!"

"I was gonna go, but I'm not what they call, you know, Good." Milton said as he laughed a little.

"You have talents just for other things that you are good at." I said to Milton patting his shoulder.

"Guys, I've been dreaming about this tournament since I got in the martial arts. How did this happen?" Jack said.

I was going to opened my mouth, but Rudy covered it, and pushed me aside, "Mm, I may know how it happened. I might have taken it upon myself to write a letter about a certain student and possibly sent it to, oh I don't know, China."

"Dude, this is important." Jerry said, Try to remember. Did you do it or not?"

I rolled my eyes and pushed Rudy away, "He didn't. I did. I wrote the letter, I sent it. All Rudy did was sign it."

"But if I didn't sign it would they have accepted it. No" Rudy told me and I rolled my eyes again. "Whatever, the point is Jack's amazing. He's undefeated. He's never lost a match in his life."

"Rudy, Arabella, Can I talk to you outside for a second?" Jack asked looking at us.

Rudy and I followed Jack outside while the others stayed in the dojo. "Rudy, not everything you told those people about me was true." Jack told us.

"Please, everybody stretches the truth. I do it all the time on my online dating profile." Rudy pointed out. "I'm not really a bathing suit model."

"Rudy, I'm not undefeated." Jack admitted. "A kid named Kai beat me so badly I gave up karate till I came here."

"Jack, it doesn't matter. You deserve this." Rudy told him.

I smiled, "That's what I been telling him."

"And that's why they sent you two first-class tickets to china." Rudy added excitedly. "You get to bring someone-- An adult, a mentor, perhaps someone who is both here and a man." Rudy said.

"Wait, first-class tickets are really expensive." Jack gasped softly, "Maybe I could trade them in for seven coach tickets."

"It's settled. Jack and I are going alone first-class. Endless leg room, our own entertainment systems, and hot nuts. Ha! In your face Bella."

"I'm just saying it be great if we could all-"

"I said hot nuts Kim." Rudy shouted cutting her off.

"Or I could pay everyone else's plane tickets as well, like you guys keep forgetting that I'm rich." I said with a smug smile.

Then Eddie, Milton, and Jerry all walked out, "Guys, we're all going to China!"

We are now in China! That's right China! On the great wall! The Great Wall of China!

"Guys!" I smiled, "We are on The Great Wall of China!" I jumped up and down, "In China!" I exhaled, "I'm cool. I'm Chill."

Rudy walked over to the ledge, "We are actually standing on the great wall of china. Just think, thousands of years ago. The emperor could've stood right here, Leaned out over the edge of the wall and yelled, 'You darn kids aren't getting your ball back!"

"This thing is over 3700 miles long." Kim chuckled, "The biggest landmark back in Seaford is the water tower Somebody spray-painted "fart" on."

"Well, this wall is awesome, But you know what else is awesome? Cookies with fortunes that come true." Milton said. I rolled my eyes, that's all they would talk about on the plane. "So we're gonna head over to the Panda Moon Cookie Company."

"It turns out it's just a few miles from here." Eddie informed us.

"Once we get the other half of that fortune, We'll be able to find where our treasure is." Milton said.

"Guys, Jack's tournament starts in a couple of hours. Don't get lost." Rudy reminded them.

"Don't worry, we won't be late." Jerry promised, "We found a great cab driver."

I deadpanned at him, "Sure, good luck on the cookie shop."

~No POV~

Rudy was hyping up Jack before his match.

"Who's the man?" Rudy asked while bouncing around the boy with excitement. "You're the man! Say it!"

"You're the man." Jack said unenthusiastically.

"Right!" Rudy agreed before realizing what he just said, "No no no, I'm not the man. You're the man. I'm just a man. Just a man in a world of men and some women--"

~Arabella's POV~

"Hey, Jack." I ran over with Kim. "Jack, I was down at the market And I picked you up these Baoding stones."

"Oh, kind of had my heart set on a glow-in-the-dark ninja bobblehead, But no no, rocks are cool." Jack asked sarcastically.

"By rotating them in your hand, It will center you, build your chi and help you compete." I explained to him while I handed him the stones.

"Hey, can I see those for a second?" Rudy asked as he took the stone from Jack's hand and throw them across the room. "What is wrong with you?!

Why don't you hop on your unicorn and ride to yoga class, moon princess? We don't need your magic rocks." I gives Rudy a glare on my face.

"Right right." I said sarcastically, "He needs you telling him 'The pain train is on the jack track!' What does that even mean?"

"It means that jack needs to come out swinging And show them that this is his house!" Rudy hit the table beside him and broke it in half.

"Do you realize you just broke a thousand-year- old table?" A elderly man asked.

"So, I got you an another gift for you." I said to him grabbing his left arm and slide on his wrist.

"What's this for?" Jack asked me.

"I saw it, where I get the stones." I said to him, the bracelet had symbols on it.

"Thanks." he smiled and kissed me.

"Enough kissy-kissy Jack you're up." Rudy said and I rolled my eyes.

Jack went up to his opponent, "Hey, can we wait, like, five minutes? I'm sure my friends will be--" Jack tried to ask but the referee started the match and the his opponent kicked him in the chest causing him to fall back. "Or we can just go now."

The two fought, but it didn't take much time for Jack to knock his opponent to the ground. And so it went on, new guys walked up on the mat but Jack defeated them all. The guy he was currently fighting put up a good fight but eventually Jack flipped him over. But unfortunately he flew towards Rudy who in turn backed into a table and managed to destroy a vase.

"Let me guess-- priceless thousand-year-old vase." Rudy said awkwardly while looking at the elderly man from before, "Just put it on my tab."

I was cheering for Jack. There was one guy who almost managed to defeat him but somehow Jack managed to turn their positions around.

Jack ran over to high five Rudy before he hugged me while spinning me around in circles. "Jack you did it!" Kim said excitedly, "You are in the finals."

"Now as your sensei, I know you look at me as the guy that is responsible for your success,But I want you to know that in some small way you're a part of it too." Rudy praises, well himself.

"Thanks, Rudy." Jack said sarcastically.

"Wow, that was something." I said. "You made this all about you."

Jack and Kim laughed while Rudy rolled his eyes but their attention was soon drawn to the ongoing match where a blonde boy in a yellow gi kicked his opponent to the ground and it almost locked like he was dislocating his shoulder.

"Get up, punk!" the blonde guy sneered before the referee declared him as a winner.

"Looks like the other semi-final is over." Kim said.

"That's your opponent in the championship." Rudy pointed at the blonde boy.

"That's Kai." Jack recognized him.

"I saw your fights, Jack." Kai walked over, "Surprised to see you here."

"I thought I'd swing by and pick up a trophy or two." Jack said confidently.

"That's funny." Kai sneered, "I thought I beat the karate out of you two years ago."

'Oh he was the one who made Jack stopped loving karate.' I thought looking at him.

"Well, I'm a better fighter than I was two years ago." Jack said and the two almost stood chest to chest by now, "And your breath is worse."

"Listen, loser." Kai said, "This time when I take you down, you're not getting back up."

"So, who the pretty girl." Kai asked.

"This pretty girl could kick your ass, if you dont walk away." I threatened him.

"Fiery, that is a type of woman I like." Kai said smirking at me and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Excuse me." I lunged for him but Jack, like always, held me back.

"Just walk away Kai." Jack told him.

"Whatever." Kai muttered "Just know this, this time when I take you down, you're not getting back up." Kai walked away and Jack released me.

"He's not afraid of you Kai!" I shouted at him before I turned to Jack "Right jack?"

"Belle, I can't beat this guy." Jack started to walk away.

"Jack." Rudy stopped him, "Think about everything that I taught you. Think about everything your grandfather taught you. He was a master sensei."

"He taught the same things to Kai." Jack said and the other three looked at him in confusion, "Kai's my cousin."

"Oh, he's the cousin, your mom keep telling me about." I said realizing.

"Yeah."

Rudy looked at the boy in shock and sat down on a chair only for said chair to break. "You real need to get some stronger furniture in here!" Rudy yelled angrily when all the judges looked at him angrily.

"It's okay Jackie. Sometimes you can't choose who we are related to."

... (• Ε •)

"What happened between you and Kai?" Rudy asked once the matches were done for the now.

"We both studied with our grandfather, But to Kai it wasn't about honor and discipline." Jack told us, "It was about intimidation and hurting people."

"Jack, it doesn't matter." Kim encouraged him, "You can take him."

"Yeah, you are not gonna give up on yourself." Rudy agreed, "Not after I flew all the way out here in coach, stuck between a screaming baby and a man who cleaned himself with his tongue."

"Alright, Rudy. Thank for that, What Rudy mean that just don't give up, because if you do that it mean Kai won." I said to Jack.

"Maybe you guys are right." Jack said, "My grandfather taught me to live by the Wasabi code. We swear by the light of the dragon's eye

to be loyal and honest and never say die."

"Never say die, Jack." Rudy told him.

"I don't know if I can beat Kai." Jack said while picking up his bag, "But he's gonna know he's been in a fight."

"That's the spirit." I said to him, smiling.

"Why didn't you tell us Kai was your cousin?" Rudy asked.

"My family were really embarrassed of Kai." Jack told him, "And my Uncle Carl wears flip-flops to the post office."

"That's not so weird." Kim said.

"It is if that's all he wears." Jack walked toward the showers, but stopped and turned to say one more thing, "You do not wanna know where he keeps his stamps."

... (• Ε •)

Me, Kim, and Rudy were in the locker room waiting for the results of Jack's hand examination. Apparently, after Jack showered, some gang jumped him, causing pain in Jack's hand. "Jack, after a thorough examination of your hand..." the doctor was cut off by Rudy's whimper, "I'm afraid I have to be honest with you." another Rudy whimper, "Based on my diagnosis..." another Rudy whimpers.

"Rudy!" I shouted, I was annoyed by his whimpering.

"Jack, your hand is broken." The doctor concluded, "You can't fight in the tournament tonight."

"What? No no!" Jack protected, "No, I didn't come all the way out here to forfeit."

"I'm sorry." The doctor apologized before walking out.

"I know thing's didn't turn out the way you wanted, but you proved you belong here." I told Jack.

"Right here." Rudy agreed, almost in tears, "With the best in the world. I'm really proud of you. Now I'm just gonna walk behind those lockers and if you hear what sounds like a grown man crying...

It's probably just the pipes." Rudy ran behind the wall, crying.

"I'll give you two a minute." Kim offered, backing out of the room.

I pulled Jack to sit down and I stood in front of him, hugging his head, "My poor baby, I know how much you were so excited to do this tournament." And kiss his head.

Jack wrapped his arms around me, and placed his head on my chest. "I was so excited to this tournament, just it to be taken from me."

I move a little to look down at him and Jack looked up at me, with sad eyes. I lean down to kiss him and Jack kissed back. I separated the kiss and kissed all over his face. Jack chuckled at my affection.

"Stupid pipes." Rudy wailed causing me and Jack to jumped by his wailed.

"Geez, that's scared me." I chuckled.

"Yeah."

... (• Ε •)

As we watched the drummers perform before the championship match, I was amazed by and Jack's phone went off. "Who was that?" I asked.

"I just got a text from the guys. They said they're sorry I had to forfeit. And they'll be here as soon as they ditch the wives." Jack replied.

"What does that mean?" Kim asked.

"Uh, try to stay hip to the jive, Kim. Ditch the wives is what the kids today say when something is cool or rad." Rudy explained.

"Sure it is, it's probably not." I agreed sarcasm.

"Hey, Jack, check out that judge's beard. It's so ditch the wives." Rudy tried.

"And now this year's junior world martial arts champion-- Kai." The judge announced. "Would you please come up here?"

Everyone cheered, some people half heartedly, as Jack rose the trophy into the air, "I'm gonna go congratulate Kai." Jack told us while standing up. But he was walking toward him but freeze a bit before walking over.

"Congratulations, Kai.This guy a friend of yours?" Jack asked, gesturing to the guy Kai just hugged.

"Yeah. Why?" Kai answered.

"Oh cause he's got the same tattoo as one of the guys that jumped me!" Jack replied, lifting the guy's at up to show the room.

"Jack, you had a forfeit." Kai said angrily, "I won. Let it go."

"You won because you were afraid to fight me." Jack said, "So you sent your friends to take me out."

"You better watch your mouth." Kai threatened, "You're still just a little punk."

"And you're still a liar, a cheat and a coward." Jack snapped back, "But enjoy your trophy, champ."

Jack walked back toward us when Kai ran toward him. "Jack, watch—" I tried to warn him but Kai kicked him in the back which sent him flying, almost landing on Rudy, "out."

"That is so not ditch the wives!" Rudy shouted and the next second hell broke loose. Jack and Kai started to fight while me, Kim amd Rudy stopped Kai's friends from outnumbering Jack again.

The two cousins both fought fiercely and eventually they spun out of the room and out on the Wall. Jack eventually managed to kick Kai into a samurai statue that stood a few feet

away.

Meanwhile me and the other two struggled to keep Kai's friends inside. And when Kai stood up again he used the statue's bo staff to fight Jack who dodged it but then got the brilliant idea to jump up on the edge of the wall.

My heart dropped when it looked like he was going to fall off it, but at the last second he used the staff to jump over Kai, only to land on his back with a groan. Kai tried to hit him but Jack caught it and they fought for the staff and when the blonde boy lost his grip he tumbled over the edge and would have fallen if Jack hadn't caught his hand.

Everyone stood there and watched as Jack pulled his cousin up on the wall with some difficulty. "I love how everyone's instinct is to watch and no one even thought about helping." I said as we all watched the tense scene.

Jack was completely breathless when he had pulled Kai back up and to everyone's surprise the blonde boy laughed mockingly, "That proves you're weak. I would've let you drop." he said before punching Jack's already injured hand which caused the Jack to fall to the ground.

Kai tried to kick him but Jack caught his leg and sent him flying into a bench that broke at the impact. "Okay. I think everybody saw I was nowhere near that bench." Rudy shouted in defence.

"See you next year, champ." Jack said to his cousin and I immediately ran over and hugged him tightly before smacking his chest. "Ouch, what was that for?"

"Do. Not. Do. That. Again." she answered, "When fighting on a wall we don't jump up on the edge. We stay right in the middle where we can't fall to our death."

Jack opened his mouth to answer but was interrupted when their missing three friends ran in in weird costumes, "Sorry we're late." Milton apologized, "You would not believe what we've been through."

Jerry's, who was dressed like Elvis, phone started to ring, "Ooh, it's the wife. Ignore!"

"Ookkk, I wonder what happened with you guys that caused you guys dress like this." I said.

... (• Ε •)

"So after all got you find out your great treature is in your friends." Jack asked as they were seated on the Great Wall for dinner that night.

"Yeah! Can you believe that?" Eddie asked in disbelief.

"I can." Rudy said, "Look, you could have all the money in the world, But if you don't have what we have right here, you've got nothing."

"To friends." Rudy toasted and everyone said the same before taking a drink.

"Ah. So do you think your wife will be mad that you ditched her?" Jack asked the three boys curiously.

"Uh, excuse me, my wife has a name." Jerry said, "I may not know what it is, but she has a name."

"They're not our wives." Milton argued, "We're 13, there were no rings and one of us was dressed like elvis."

"Oh, really?" Kim asked nervously, "You might want to tell them that." she pointed at three very unhappy wives and the three boys let out screams in shock and horror.

"Honey, I can explain." Milton said awkwardly before the three boys started to run away followed by their wives. "Run."
