(Super Mario Galaxy ost - Deep Dark Galaxy)
Somewhere underground, Lapis, Swin, Nadia, C and G have been slaying monsters in sight. Lapis swing down her axe, Swin slash slashing through a mantis monster, Nadia throwing her needles on the bats. C thrust on the Bat and G slash through the mantis monster. Teddurisa slashed a Mantis Monster and Charcadet throw Ember and burn the Bat alive as it died.
"I hate this place." Lapis complained. "It smells of mold! That foul odor is bound to cling to my dress."
"Ugh. That would be the pits." Nadia muttered. "Lucky for us, we have Teddurisa who can clean away that nasty smell with something sweet~"
"Oh, you're right! Teddurisa is absolutely the best!"
"Teddiursa!" Teddiursa cheered.
"Oh, why don't Teddiursa used Sweet Scent right now?" Lapis asked
"Because that would be a bad idea." Swin protest. "If Teddiursa used Sweet Scene right now, it will just attract more monsters. Not to mention the smell would be a dead giveaway too. Also why are you two worried about the clothes instead of the monsters?"
"Have YOU ever tried to get rid of a bad smell?" Nadia fold her arms
"It's a terrible pain!" Lapis agreed, causing Swin to sigh.
"That's enough chatter. There's work to be done." C said
"Okaaay." The girls said as they take off.
"Char?" Charcadet looking at Swin.
'Never thought when we took it on that the job would be like this.' Swin thought
(BGM paused)
Flashback...
"Who are... you?" Lapis asked as she tilt her head innocently.
(Trails into Reverie ost - Lapis)
"You... may call me 'C'. C introduce himself.
"And you shall call me 'G'. G introduced himself.
"My name's Nadia." Nadia smiled. "And this is Teddiursa."
"Teddiursa!" Teddiursa raised her paw and smiled.
"I'm Swin. This is my Pokemon partner, Charcadet." Swin introduce himself.
"Charca." Charcadet nodded his head.
"What about you?"
"My name is Lapis. Lapis Rosenberg." Lapis introduce herself.
"Great. Now we get to add human traffickers to our bio." Nadia muttered
"No, we don't... I hope." Swin sighed."Her last name is the same as the client's, so there's got to be something more to it."
"Your client is Joerg Rosenberg, I presume?" C asked. "His skill and renown in dollmaking known no equal. If this is his doing, then this could mean—"
"—he has an illegitimate daughter!" Nadia cut in.
"Is that a joke?" G turning to Nadia.
"Of course it was a joke. It was just to lighten the mood." Nadia looking at Lapis wrists. "Her wrists give her away."
"Joints?" Swin blinked. "Wait... She can't be a doll?"
"Hard to believe how lifelike she is, right? At the same time, I don't think I've met anyone with such perfectly symmetrical facial features. And her looks are so beautiful and delicate."
"The meister's work continues to be impeccable. She is of no double an example of art at its finest." C said.
G nodded in agreement. "Indeed. I have heard tales about Rosenberg being a famous dollmaker... but to be able to witness one of his masterpieces is truly superb."
Lapis giggled. "You two have an excellent eye!" She got up. "I am indeed a Rosenberg Doll—and quite proud to be one, too! It pleases me so to meet people who appreciate my superb craftsmanship." She hop off her case.
"Huh. This is so weird." Nadia place her hand on her cheek as she thinks.
"I've heard of orbal automata that can hold simple conversation, but this doesn't feel like the same thing." Swin said
"Indeed. She's no simple doll. Then that would mean that you are an AI?" C asked.
"An AI?" Swin asked.
"Artificial Intelligence." G explain. "You two haven't heard of AI before? To put it simply. They are an advanced version of automatons. The simulation of human intelligence processes by machines. They can emulate the human mind and have decision-making capabilities equal to that of a human, including recognizing and remembering emotions and reacting in social situations as a human would. In order to create artificial intelligence, it requires a field of technology and gathering a large amount of data and enable learning progress."
"You seem to know a lot about AI, don't you?"
"No. I just happened to learn through... encountering a couple during my travels."
"He speaks the truth." C said. "I've also encountered AI before. But they are from another world."
"Another world? Come to think of it. There were a lot of topics related to other worlds. Like our Pokemon for example. They came from another world, right?" Swin asked
"Correct. The Pokemon originally hail from their Pokemon worlds in different regions. But there was an incident that caused their world as well as many others to merge with our world. And thus, just like the other people, creatures and other intelligent lifeforms from different worlds— live together with us as if nothing has changed."
"Wow. But it does make sense after all the intel we have learned so far. But to think we meet an actual AI! Wow!" Nadia cheered.
"Okay, while this is all intriguing... but there are some that haven't been explained yet." Swin pointed out. "Lapis, what are you, exactly?"
"I told you: I'm a Rosenberg Doll." Lapis answered.
"That part's obvious. But what else is there to you?"
"I... don't understand the question."
"Like I said earlier, there is something about you that hasn't been explained yet. Like, you know—classified information." Swin fold his arms
"Umm..." Lapis respond with a sense of uncertainty
"None of this makes sense otherwise. If you're just a 'doll', then why were those soldiers in black so determined to hunt you down?"
"I... I don't..."
"You can tell us. We just need answers."
"S." Nadia called out to him.
"Hmm? What?" Swin asked as Nadia hit him with the back of the head with her Stuff bear. "OW!" He rub his head and turns to Nadia. "Did you fill that thing with ROCKS?! That really hurt!"
"It's your fault for bombarding her with questions!" Nadia scolded him as she look at Lapis who bend her back as a crying position right now. "See? You made a poor little girl cry."
"Oh..." Swin turn and just realizes what he's done, causing him to flinch. "I-I'm sorry! I was just trying to—I'm so sorry. "
Lapis shook her head "No. It's okay. It's not your fault. It's just that I... can't remember."
"How much?" Nadia asked
"All of it. Not a thing from before I woke up here. It's like a big part of my memory bank has been wiped clean."
Is this the first time you've been boosted up?" Swin asked.
"Maybe, but this doesn't feel the same as never having known." Lapis answered. "It's more like I DID know at some point and then... forgot. I'm sure there's something I need to do. Something of the utmost importance. "
"But you're drawing a total black on what it is?" Nadia asked.
Lapis nodded her head. "That's right. All that I recall is my name and that I'm a Rosenberg Doll."

"Why was I made, though? What is my purpose? I... I don't know." Lapis begin to sniffle. "Whatever should I do?"
(Trails into Reverie ost - Raindrop in the Wind)
"Few things cannot be recovered upon being lost." C said, causing Lapis to look at him.
"Do you know how I can remember?" Lapis asked
"No. Perhaps there's a way; perhaps there isn't."
"Just talkin' to talk, huh?" Nadia asked
"Pot calling kettle black." Swin shot back.
"I don't know why you were made, nor do I know what your purpose is. What I do know is that you were brought to me. That leads me to believe you may well find your answers through me." C said. "As for why I am the one to receive you... well, there must be more to it than random chance. It may be that you will prove yourself vital by helping me fulfill my own goals. So I demand you cooperate with me. In return, I will help you learn who you are." He offer his hand to Lapis. "I believe this agreement will serve the both of us very well. What do you say?"
Lapis close her eyes as she thinks. "All right." She look up. "I think it will, too. Than you and G may officially have the honor of my company."
"Hmph. How flattering." G spoked.
"That's job complete, then." Swin place his hand to his hip. "Now to figure out what's next..."
"Oooh! I wanna go on an eeextra long vacation!" Nadia cheered
"Teddiursa!" Teddirusa agreed.
"On who's mira?"
"Don't be such a party pooper..."
Swin sighed. "Call me what you want, Nadia, but whining to me isn't going to change that we're float broke. So let's go find our next job." He said as he and Nadia begin to leave.

"Stop." C called them out, causing the two latter to stop.
"What for?" Nadia asked
"We were contracted to deliver the case. What you do now's up to you—not our problem."
(Trails into Reverie ost - Invisible Hands in the Shadows)
"And if I were to make it your problem? How would you like to work to me?" C suggest
"What brought this on?" Swin asked
"I'm in need of some extra hands for what I hope to accomplish, you see. Since you've proven yourselves rather capable, I would like you under my employ until my work is complete."
"I suppose it would be better to have extra manpower. The three of us will have some difficulties." G agreed. "Well, what say you?"
"Okay, Masks. I'm gonna give it to you straight: You're both shadier than a dark room at midnight! We'd have to be out of our minds to take a job from some freaks who 'DON'T TRUST ME' written all over their faces. Pretty sure that's what you got under there, anyway."
"Ooooh! I can see that! Heehee!" Lapis giggled.
"Everything right down to my gut's screaming that working with you's gonna be more troubling than it's worth. And I never wanna work one MINUTE more than I need to! So I'm out!"
"I'm with her. Sorry about that." Swin replied
"Heh. A pity, though not unexpected. I certainly don't blame you due to our appearance." G replied.
"Let's not be hasty, now." C spoked. "You will be handsomely rewarded for your services." He pull out a piece of paper from his pocket and begin writing down the number. "How do you like this?" He reveal the number as Nadia and Swin approached and seeing the big numbers. "As a start, of course. You will receive this upon accepting the job—followed by tripe the amount upon completion."
"I'm in!" Nadia said with her eyes sparkling.
"Of course, we are..."
"Really? That's it? That is what takes to convince you?" G asked, rising an eyebrow underneath his mask.
"We'd be able to live a life of luxury with that kind of money, We'd never have to work another day in our lives again!" Nadia grinned.
"I would also not be opposed to awarding further bonuses based on your performance." C added. "Oh. And if you like a place to settle down. My partner and I know a few places where you can live ordinary lives."
"What?" G turn to C.
"YOU'RE A GOD!" Nadia eye sparkling, causing G to sweatdrop. "Oh, come on, S! We gotta! We gotta! We''ll be kicking ourselves down the line if we don't!"
"Calm down, Nadia." Swin sighed. "Actually think about what he's saying. It's all too good to be real."
"It's plain to see you are not bracers, but you don't strike me as mercenaries, either." C remark. "Your history must be quite... unusual to become so skilled in combat at your age. My offer holds no downsides. If you want to live in peace, you may do so with the mira I provide. You will never have to accept another dubious job like this ever again."
Swin fold his arms as he thinks for a moment. "We got one condition."
"Name it."
"We refuse to kill another human being. No exceptions."
"Very well. I accept."
"Then we have a deal."

(Resuming Deep Dark Galaxy)
'*sigh* Well, it's done now. I just have to hope everything works out as planned. I won't let any harm come to Nadia—ever." Swin thought as he takes off.
"Charca?" Charcadet tilt his head and follow his trainer to regroup with the others.
"I'm tiiired." Nadia groaned. "Can't we take a break?"
"Teddiursaaaaa..." Teddiursa groaned as her arms feel lifeless.
"I'm right there with you, but we don't know this place well enough to park it just anywhere." Swin said.
"How much longer do we have to be in these gloomy tunnels?" Lapis asked
"It won't be much longer." C said. "Chin up, children."
"Who would have imagine that we would end up babysitting." G sighed until they encountered more Neo Roach until Nadia and Swin both dash toward and slash them with their swords and needles and Lapis spotted a bat flying toward them until she threw and killed the bat with one hit as the axe flew back to her hand. "But I must admit, you children are full of potential if your skills are above that of average children if these monsters pose much little threat."
"I'd be mortified if they did with how weak they are." Swin struggled. "Lapis bursting out that giant axe surprised me more."
"It's perfect for me, isn't it?" Lapis smiled as she giggled. "It let let me take out anything I pleased in a single broad stroke so I don't dirty my dress."
"Ahaha!" Nadia giggled. "I feel that, LP. A simple strat is a good strait. But I gotta say G, your magic is something else too."
"Yeah. I heard magic exist in the world, but it's my first time seeing a magic user." Swin agreed. "
"Oh, I know right?" Lapis agreed. "Not to mention that you even cook delicious food with a stove that pop out of nowhere. And here I thought magic is all about fire and water, and other stuff."
"Magic is more than just the elements, children. Magic can be used for everything. Just as with technology when you have knowledge and a study hand."
"Indeed. I was tempted to also learn magic. Magic is different compare to orbal arts." C agreed. "Due to... circumstances, I was unable to wield magic like my partner. Ah, yes. Speaking of magic, are you also capable of teaching me?"
"Yes. I am capable of teaching."
"Ooh~ Then do you know some spells that can bring some charm?" Nadia grinned
"Or a spell to keep filth off my dress?" Lapis asked.
"Really you two..." Swin sighed.
"Teddiursa~." Teddiursa giggled.
"Charca!" Charcadet laughed.
"Yes, I do spells like that." G admitted until Vermillion Sambras appeared. "Oh."
"What the heck? Where did they come from?" Lapis asked.
"Stand back." G stepped forward as he dashed toward them, slashing through them with superhuman speed as Hearts came out of the Heartless and disappeared.
"Whoa! Did those hearts appear right out of them?" Nadia asked.
"Yeah, but out of all the monsters killed. Those monsters with hearts coming out are different." Swin said.
"That's because those monsters G slain are called Heartless." C explained.
"Heartless?"
"They are living physical manifestations of darkness within every living being hearts. Emotionless and mindless creatures is what they are."
"Wow. The name Heartless is quite fitting." Nadia mused.
"They, some of them have good appearances." Lapis replied as they keep going.
"Their looks are deceiving." G said. "Heartless may be simpleton creatures, but they are dangerous. They seek to consume hearts. Our hearts."
An ?! appeared over Nadia, Swin, Lapis, Teddiursa and Charcadet's head.
"Wait, they're heart eaters?!" Nadia asked.
"That's right. I've seen people who have been consumed by the Heartless. Many lost their hearts and many became Heartless themselves. Heartless can take many forms. Some are weak. Some are strong. Heartless have endless form of power. You would be wise to be cautious with them." G advised.
"Ooh... Now that sounds super scary!" Lapis shivered.
"Yeah. People turning into those things is scary." Swin muttered. "But they're still monsters, aren't they?"
"Yes. However, Heartless can only be destroyed by only a select few weapons. Other weapons like each of you carry will only make them disappear for a brief moment. The weapon I possess is capable of destroying them."
"You mean your sword?" Swin looking at the sword. "But doesn't it look similar to C?"
"Heh. That's just for look." G said
"And what do you mean by that?"
"You'll find out soon enough." G look at C. "Anyway, are we almost there, C?"
"Yes. We should be under the capital now." C replied "We'll proceed as I outlined yesterday. If you have questions, speak now."
"I'm good!" Nadia casually wrap her arms behind her back.
"Teddy!" Teddiursa raised her arm behind her back.
"Me too." Swin replied.
"Char." Charcadet nodded his head.
"Oh, no. I should have come prepared." Lapis muttered as the group look at her.
G sighed. 'No questions, then."
"Aww... Poor Lapis just got dropped like a funny in a dunce hat." Nadia giggled.
"Huh? What's a dunce hat?" Lapis asked
"All right, just to confirm: our first objective is to gather intel on any soldiers displaying unusual behavior. That sum it up?" Swin asked
C nodded. "To the letter. How we proceed after that is dependent on our findings."
"Can I still ask questions?" Lapis asked
"I'll be counting on you to ascertain their whereabouts."
"Hey! Don't just ignore me!"
Unknown to them, something is slithering in the corner.
"I also need you to be on guard for the other targets previously mentioned." C added
"You got it. I've been curious about them!" Nadia smiled.
"Shh." Swin did the shush finger as he glance to the left. "There's something com—"
"I SAID..." Lapis got her battleaxe out and she zoom to the left as a big eyeball monster flew toward them, only to be slain by Lapis. "DON'T IGNORE ME!"
"I can't believe she took out a monster that big in one hit."
"Rosenberg sure build' 'em tough." Nadia mused.
"We aren't ignoring it. Far from it—we will be depending on you a great deal of combat." C said.
"He's right! I'm almost tempted to leave all the fighting to you, LP!" Nadia giggled.
"R-Really?" Lapis asked with a curious smile. "Heehee! Well, you'd be right to do so. There are no limits to what a top-of-the-line Rosenberg is capable of!" She turn to Nadia. "But, umm... Why are you calling me 'LP'?"
"'Cause your name's Lapis. La-pis. LP."
"I understand the root, but why call me it?"
Nadia smiled. "It sounds cute."
"Oh. Carry on, then."
Swin giving a deadpan look. "That's all you need to be okay with it?"
"Cute is important. If I were to state the cuteness of everyone's name... Nadia get 90 points!" Lapis smiled
"So I'm the golden standard of names, huh?" Nadia asked
"Teddurisa gets 95 points!"
"Teddurisa!" Teddurisa cheered
"I been beaten by Teddiursa by five? Can't say I'm happy with that." Nadia muttered before she smiled. "But who could resist that cute face?"
"Swin gets 65 points." Lapis pointed at him.
"Am I supposed to be happy about that or not?" Swin asked, frowning.
"Charcadet gets 43 point!"
"Char?" Charcadet tilt his head.
"Ouch. Must have hurt, didn't it Charlie?" Nadia asked
Lapis turn to G. "G gets 10 point!" She pointed with a disappointed look, causing G to let out a "hmph". "And C gets...a 15!" She responded the same as C said nothing. "Both of your name just plain isn't cute!"
"Hear that, S?" Nadia nervous smile. "White Mask got a 10 while Black Mask got a 15."
"I don't even get what her criteria is." Swin sighed.
"Both of your mask are also just hideous! I'm of the opinion that you should take it off." Lapis said
"Hear, hear!" Nadia agreed as she go behind Lapis. "And tell us your real name while you're at it!"
"I'll consider it should the need ever arise." C replied
"Same." G replied as they take off.
"Yay! That's one step forward." Lapis cheered
"Don't fall for it! That's what they say to placate you so you'll drop the subject. Then they don't gotta do jack!" Nadia warned.
Swin sighed. "Guys. The mission?"
They headed to the door.
"Halt." C stopped them as they turn to the door.
"Is something the matter?" Lapis asked.
"Shh." Nadia did the shush finger.

"I think I hear something." Swin said as they can hear voices on the other side.
On the other side of the door.
(Trails into Reverie ost - Slightly Suspicious)
On the other side lies Heimdallr Ost District where two Imperial Army Soldiers are discussing in secret.
"...Notice... good..."
"Finish... chancellor set out to..."
"Tonight, we're...them our anger..."
The two traitor soldiers take off. The moment they left, C's group open and pass through the doors.
"I have to say, I didn't expect to strike gold quite so quickly." C mused.
"Hmph. Idiots all of them." G grumbled.
"They've got to be the guys we're looking for, right?" Swin asked.
"Without a doubt." C nodded his head. "How skilled are you two with espionage?"
"Skilled enough."
"Pretty bad." Nadia casually wrap her arms over her head.
Swin sighed. "You just don't want to do any work."
"Espionage?" Lapis asked confusedly.
'Note to self. Expand Lapis's vocabulary.' G thought.
"All right. Swin and G, with me." C said.
"What should I do?" Nadia asked
"You can be our babysitter."
"One babysitter, comin' right up!"
"Babysitter?" Lapis asked until she realized what they meant. "Wait! Are you calling me a baby? How dare you?!"
"Oh pipe down." G pulls out a bag. "Here." He tosses the wallet to Nadia.
"What's this?" Nadia opened the wallet and saw lots of Mira bills. "Is this Mira?!"
"Just a small amount in case you get hungry or desire a snack as you blend in. Try not to overspend it or use it for your own greed."
"No promises boss~" Nadia grinned.
"Charcadet, watch over them, okay?" Swin turns to Charcadet.
"Char." Charcadet nodded
C pulled out a RAMBDA unit and pressed the button to activate stealth as S had an ! over his head.
"Is that a RAMDA unit?" Swin asked.
"You know of them?" C asked
"We've seen Calvardian agents who were on our tail use them in the past, yeah. But I thought only they have access to them... How did you get one?"
"No way did a Hercules hires us, right?" Nadia asked with a playful smirk
"Heh." C let out a small chuckle. "We'll split in half to begin our investigation, then reconvene at sundown." C turn to the streets. "Begin." Then he, G and Swin take off

"Should we get going, then?" Nadia asked
"Get going where?" Lapis asked
"Hmm... How about we just walk around?" Nadia suggested
"Oooh! I'm a walking EXPERT! I walk like the best of them!"
"You're so adorable!"
"Oh?" Lapis tilt her head. "Well, of course I am."
"Charca." Charcadet sighed while Teddiursa giggled.
"Oh, right. LP. Here." Nadia pull out Lapis' Camouglage.
"What are these?" Lapis asked.
"They're your camouflage. They can be used to hide your joints. No one'll be able to tell you apart from a real human. You don't have to if you don't want to, but the two Masks thought it might be worth it."
"I don't know... I think I'm very beautiful as I am... But I'll give it some thought!"
"Good girl! Now, then, let's move!" Nadia cheered as she takes off with Lapis, Teddiursa and Charcadet.
"I thought Erebonia's capital would be fancier. Is this really it?" Lapis asked.
"Yup, but this part's pretty old. It's where all the commoners and laborers live." Nadia answered
"It's strange. Why do humans divide themselves up even though they're all human?"
"'Cause they're silly. Society wouldn't be able to function if they did it any other way."
"Are you silly, too?"
"I'm an exception!" Nadia clapped her hands in a smile. "Oh so I want to believe." She look up at the sky. "I like this place, though. It's cool the way it all feels kinda thrown together. Life's just better when you don't try too hard, and this area looks like it was built with that same mindset."
"So simple is good?" Lapis asked.
"Simple is the best. The streets end up getting a unique feel to them, too. There's a lot of slight differences in elevation, bunches of black alleys... Can't think of a better for guerrilla warfare or an ambush. It's a blast just thinking od how i'd use it all!"
"Use it all for what?"
"Like... for playing tag?" Nadia winked until something caught her attention and she pull Lapis to a back alley.
"Huh? Tag?"
"Shh." Lapis shush her
"Not again..."
The two girls and the two Pokemon stare and see Carl coming out of his house as a well-dress man greets him.
"It's time to leave, Your Excellency."
"Thank you. Is everything ready?" Carl asked
"Of course. Your guest said they will also be arriving soon."
"Then we must leave at once. It won't do to be late."
"The car is ready for you, sir." The man nodded and took off with Carl but stopped as he look at the house.
"I won't be able to come back home again for quite some time, I'm sure. Things are about to get busy..." He said and take off.
Then Nadia, Teddiursa, Charcadet, and Lapis came out from hiding.
"Is he someone you know?" Lapis asked
"Kinda, He's really famous." Nadia answered "He's a politician who became governor of this city despite being born a commoner. Now he straight up represents the entire Erebonia government."
"Wow! You know so much, Nadia. But if he's that important, shouldn't we follow after him?"
"Ehh, following him's not going to help with what we're doing." Nadia replied. 'But just who's he going to meet? They gotta be real high up on the chain to worry about being late'. "Well, I think we've seen enough of the Ost District. You ready to see more?"
"Where are we going?"
"You'll see. Just follow me." Nadia said as they took off.

Meanwhile with C, G, Swin...
(Resuming Slight Supscious)
Swin, C, and G were walking in the Vainqueur Streets where C and G noticed Rean's group heading into Plaza Bifrost.
"Hey, aren't they...?" Swin asked
"So Thors Class VII is here after all. But it seems we also have Team RWBY, Diluc, Sora, Donald, Goofy, Ragna the Bloodedge, Noel Vermillion from the Mushroom Bracer Guild, Governor Edelgard, Hubert, Monica, two members of the Fairy Tail Guild, and one of the Persona Users from the investigation Team."
Blake, Levi, Rean and Greninja stop as Blake ears twitch as they turn around.
'You guys felt that too?' Blake asked.
'Yeah. Someone was watching us.' Levi nodded.
'Greninja.' Rean said.
'Ninja.' Greninja nodded and then vanished.
'Come on.' Levi said and they go in.
"Hmm... Their senses are sharper then expected." C rub his chin.
"But this is bad. That Greninja will find us." G pointed out. "I'll drive its attention away. You two continue on."
"Understood." C nodded as G took off.
G take to an Alley where he undo the RAMBA stealth effect. He wall jumps and reaches the rooftop and then he look around the rooftop. "Now, where are you?"
"Ninja!" A voice appeared as Greninja appeared from behind as G turned around.
"Ah, so you found me." G said as Greninja conjured water katanas. "Hehe. Catch me if you can." He smirked as he turn to his left and then he jump onto the rooftop.
"Ninja!" Greninja took his stand and then chased after him.
G and Greninja hop from roof to roof as Greninja throws Water Shiruken but he dodges them and takes off running until he jumps to the next rooftop. G jump onto the alley and turns on RAMDA.

"Huh?" The man with blue eyes and messy green hair arranged in spikes. He wears a hoop ear piercing in his right ear as the woman dressed like a nun look at him.
"Is something the—" She asked and she and the man spotted Greninja pass them with rapid speed. "Was that a Pokemon?"
"Yes. It look like it was chasing someone." He said. "Ries. Let's follow them."
"Huh? Why Kevin?" She asked.
"I get this funny feeling something is going on in the capital." Kevin answered.

"All right!" Nadia cheered as she, Lapis, Teddurisa and Charcadet arrived in Vestra Street. "Time to have some fun and see the sights!"

Lapis look around. "This place is more lively compared to the last one we were in."
"Well, yeah. It's a shopping district. You can buy all kinds of stuff here." Nadia smiled

"But we're going shopping anyway!"

"I can't pass on shopping in the capital 'cause I don't NEED anything! I read a guide on the city from front to back in the bookstore, so I know all the top spots to hit up. Let's spend some mira!" She said as they take off. "Mmm... As for the hottest thing on Vesta Street... nothin' holds a candle to Lafite. C'mon! You'll see what I mean once we poke our heads inside."
"I hope so. The name doesn't tell me much, but I give it 83 points!" Lapis smiled as they arrived at Lafite Bakery.
"No trip to Heimdallr would be complete without a stop at this excellent bakery!" Nadia clapped her hand. "According to whoever wrote the guide."
Lapis gave a look of confusion. "Humans die if they go too long without food, don't they? That sounds very inconvenient."
Nadia shook her head. "We do, but we don't eat just to survive. We do it because it's fun! Food is an art!"
Lapis tilt her head. "How is it... an art? You're confusing me."
"Hmm... Maybe it's just one of those things that foes over a doll's head." Nadia replied as they go into the bakery. "Barkeep! Three Mishy and drinks!"
The staff sweatdrop. "Umm... I'm not a barkeeper, but you got it. Would you like that here or to go?"
"For here, please. To where else can this weary soul go to find solace from the cruel bustle of city life than this here boulangerie?"

"What was all that stutff you said mean?" Lapis asked as she see Nadia, Teddurisa and Charcadet were holding a bread in their hands.
"Nothin'. I've just always wanted to say something cool like that." Nadia giggled as she takes a bite.

"Teddiursaaaa~" Teddiursa cried happily as she takes a bite and chew. "Teeddiieee!"
"Charcaaa!" Charcadet respond happily while Lapis just stare as the three eat.
Nadia notice Lapis staring. "What's up?"
"Nothing." Lapis answered as Nadia resumed eating the break until Nadia finally notice why she was staring at the bread.
"Want a bite?"
"As a cutting-edge Rosenberg Doll, I can convert septium into energy. I have no need for food." Lapis answered
"Okay then." Nadia then resume eating the bread and then notice again Lapis was eagered to try it, but she couldn't and ask. "You SURE you don't want a bite?"
"I really want one!" Lapis replied differently and then Nadia pass the break to her. She takes it and take a bite. "Nom!
"So what do you think?"
"I'm not familiar with what tastes go with what words, but..."
"But?"
"This is really good!"
"Success!" Nadia clapped for applauds. "So you got taste buds?"
"I suppose so." Lapis shrugged. "Even I didn't realized I had them."
"Rosenberg technology can't be beat."
"And now that I know..."
"Yeah?"
"I want to have some more!"
"Let's get some food in you, then!" Nadia smirked. "I'll order a variety so you can try different flavors."
"YAY!" Lapis cheered.
One order of eating everything in the menu later...
Lapis was punching down the final bread as Teddurisa and Charcadet blinked pupils were anime shock of all the place being pile up, while Nadia sweatrop.
"I can't believe you tore through their whole menu... White Mask is not gonna like this..." Nadia muttered. "You must have a portal for a stomach."
"I think I understand what you meant before, Nadia! Eating food IS an art!"
Nadia sweatdrop. "You maaaaay not understand as well as you think... Well, let's pay the bill and move on to the next place, okay?" She hop off the chair with the Pokemon and Lapis. "Should prolly head to our next stop: the Garnier District.
"But I want to eat more bread..." Lapis frown.
"Don't sweat it! There's plenty more treats to be tried for your bottomless stomach." Nadia said as they take off.

G swing his sword against Greninja who was push back then he throw Shurikens at him and then water knives. G swing to deflect and then Greninja dash toward for slashes and thrust attack with his water form katana. G dodge then slash, but it used Substitute as a doll appeared and then he reappeared behind him until G backflip, and then impale the ground to cause surge of power. Greninja jump high enough and G teleported in front and threw series of aerial clashes while Greninja block and counter with Aeriel jabs and slashes until both of them push each other away.
"Hmm. You're not only persistent, but also capable." G mused.
"Ninjaaa." Greninja readied more Shuriken.
"Hehe. No need Ninja. I already stalled you long enough." G spoke, causing Greninja to have an ! over his head. "We will meet again." He sand until G teleported away via magic.

"Can't we? I can tell you don't care much about gathering intelligence anyway. Let's leave the real work to them so we can have fun!"
"Now you're speaking my language!" Nadia smirked. "But if we try something at every spot, We'll end up spending every last Mira White Mask gave me. Honestly, I don't know if I should feel concerned about how I ended up wasting all that good Mira on food."
"Well technically, he said we should use it if we get hungry or desire a snack. He said not to spend it on your greed."
"Ooh look at you founding a good counterargument LP! Nice." Nadia smirked. "So let's make it happen, LP! We'll hit the town and stuff ourselves with good eats from one corner to the other!" She clapped her hands. "I read the guidebook, so I'll lead the way to the best spots to hit up!"
"Yay! Food time!" Lapis smirked.
They went to the Ice Cream and Créme stall.
"C'mon, Nadia! Let's eat already!" Lapis pleaded.
"Don't worry—I got you." Nadia giggled. "Four Cholocate banana crepes, please!"
"Got it! Four specials, coming right up!" The Staff nodded / "If you could give me a few minutes ladies and Pokemon, I'll whip you up a couple of crepes that'll knock your socks off!"
"Yaaay/Teddiursa/Charcaaa!" They raised their arm and cheered as they waited for a few minutes and then the crepes were ready.
"All right, it's done!" The man pass the crepes to them. "Here you go! Four chocolate banana crepes special. Enjoy!"
"Thank you!" Nadia cheered as she handed the amount and she, Lapis, Teddiursa and Charcadet take off as Lapis eye sparking at the crepe.
"It's beautiful..." Lapis said in joy
"Tediursa!" Teddiursa agreed.
"You know, I might be kinda late in asking this, but are you all good?" Nadia asked
"With what?" Lapis asked
"Like, it is safe for you to be downing all this human food? You're not gonna break from one too many desserts, are you?"
"Hm? I think it's fine. My body seems to be converting the food I consume into fuel to keep me energized. It's not as efficient as recharging with septium, but it's not terrible."
"Huh. So you're voracious by design." Nadia mused until she blinked. "Wait. Let me get this straight: You can pig out all you want and not gain a single curim? It just gives you energy?"
"Mm-hmm! Rosenberg Dolls are made to retain their shape no matter the circumstances! Humans gain fat from eating too much food, though don't they? Are you looking to gain some weight?"
Nadia flinched. "Mmgh... I, uhh... I'll be fine! I'm a growing girl with the metabolism of a horse! If I don't eat like crazy, I won't get that extra va-va-voom that's sure to get S's love on lock!"
"Va-Va- Voom sounds nice. Good luck." Lapis said as she begin eating as Nadia sweatdrop as Teddiursa and Charcadet eat theirs.
Nadia frown for a bit until she caught the sight of Rean's group leaving the hotel. That spark an idea.

"Since we're on our way, I read there's a really nice food spot along Vainqueur Street..."
"Really?" Lapis jumps and turns around. "Then what are we waiting for!? Let's—" She asked which cause Nadia to smirk as she manipulated the steel wires to make Lapis tripped. "Ahh!" She dropped her crepe.
"Ooof." Millium catches Lapis. "You okay?"

"Sorry about that." Nadia scratched her cheek. "She can be a little clumsy."
"Aww! No worries! I'm just glad I could be her cushion so she wasn't hurt." Millium smiled.
Lapis looks down and see her crepe on the floor. "Oh, no... my crepe..." She frown.
"Don't be sad." Nadia approached and handed her crepe. "You can have mine, LP."

Not to mention to find that figure Greninja spotted and confronted since the two seems to be related somehow. But for now, it won't hurt to pay a visit to the guild since it's in operation again. Might be able to find a lead there."

"Right. If anyone's got intel on the rebels around here, it would be us bracers." Noel Vermillion nodded.
"The closest branch is probably out east in Alto Street." Elliot said.
"Fie and Sara aren't there right now, though, right?" Millium asked
"Right. But fortunately, we have Noel here who can help speed things up." Jusis said.

"And that 'muck and mire' part must be referring to the 'muck and mire that gather in the vermillion city.' Goofy said.
"Then those two are part of the Reborn Imperial Liberation Front." Donald said.
"I didn't expect young girls like them to be involved with terrorism." Edelgard fold her arm.
"Little Miss Cotton Candy sure made it sound like this was business as usual for her." Ash said. "Good work reelin' in the big one, guys."

"As for me. I was able to lure away one of the target's Pokemon. A Greninja who notices our presence. He should return to his owner by now." G answered. "However, I encounter two familiar figures from the Septain Church in the city."
"Oh?" C asked. "Who?"
"Kevin Graham and his squire Ries Argent."
C had an ! over his head. "Are you certain, G? Why are they in the capital?"
"I'm not sure for certain. Perhaps either business here in the capital or perhaps related to you know what."
"Hmm... Interesting..." C rub his mask chin as he turn to Nadia and Lapis. "And what did you two accomplish?"
"We got to try lots of good food!" Lapis cheered
C, Swin and G sweatdrop.
"Well, it's a relief I wasn't expecting anything from you." C comment.
"HEY! That's RUDE!" Lapis sulked
"Hold on. How much did you spend?" G asked
"Oh. This much. " Nadis pulled out the wallet and opened the pockets, leaving nothing, causing G to have ?! over his head.

"Technically, you said we should use it if we get hungry or snacks as we blend it. We weren't using it for our greed." Nadia wink.
G palmface. "Forget it. I wasn't expecting any of you to know how to use the money wisely over something as trivial as going on a best food tour around the city."

"That should be more than enough." G said.
"You may have blown a couple of us away, but we'll fight even with them!" Elliot pull out his Pokeball along with Elise, Altina and Ash and call out Primarina, Alakazam, Skeledirge and Bellossom.

Emblem Micaiah appeared next to Elise, Emblem Elliot appeared next to Annette, and Emblem Hector appeared next to Sora.
"What the—?!" Swin gasped at the Emblem sight.
"Aaah! Ghosts!" Lapis yelled
"They have ghosts to join the battle?!" Nadia asked.
"Ahh... So those must be the Emblem I've heard about." G mused.
G summon four tornados and scattered onto the battlefield and Nadia throw Flare Butterfly as the heroes quickly shattered as Elliot and Primarina throw Hydro Pump as C dodged.
"Fire Dragon Roar!" Natsu unleashed a fire breath toward the group, but G froze the fire with his magic. "WHAT?!"
G snapped his finger and shattered the ice and throw projections toward the group.
"Incoming!" Blake yelled as they take covered as the some dodge the ice shards while others deflect them by swinging their weapons.
"Teddurisa, Sweet Scent!" Nadia command
"Teddiursa!" Teddiursa swings her arms, releasing a sweet odor.
"Oh no you don't!" Annette throw Excalibar as the tornado suck in the sweet scent as Emblem Elliot throwing magic projection at them.
"Take this!" Sora dashes toward Swin with Sonic Blade with Emblem Hector, but he blocks and parries and then kicks Sora away as Donald throws Thunaga, shocking him as Goofy runs up and throws a swing of his shield.
C and Kanji swing a each other until Kanji punch C, but he block with his sword and then he parry him by throwing rapid thrust attack. Kanji then managed to shield himself with his shield.
"Maziodyne!" Kanji yelled as Take-Mikazuchi was summoned and unleashed large lighting onto C's group.
"Aaah!" Lapis dodged the lightning while C, Swin and Nadia avoid it but G taken the hit.
"Hmph!" G grunted and then he recovered.
"Claiomh Solais!" Altina form Claiomh Solais into a fist and then throw toward Lapis but she swing her axe and both cause a shockwave as she was push back.
Ash ran up and swing at her. Lapis dodge and they swing at each other until Lapis form a cartwheel, forcing him to dodge as Swin dash toward and slash him away. Ash throw Chain Magic but Swin jump out of the way as Nadia throw steel wires toward the group, forcing them to dodge as Lucy got out her whip and swing toward C and Nadia, both taken the hits as Nastu ran up and punch Nadia.
"Ngh!" She winched as she glared and throw needles at him.
Natsu shield himself with his fist.

G shattered the ice and then form a barrier around his group as C dash toward to Blake and they swing at each other until Yang flying kick him. C was push back but Nadia throw Nemesis Arrows toward her and Blake, shocking them as Swin jump into the air and then sent out slash projection toward the group while Lapis then used Emerald Eye and scan her Targets.
"Data received!" She smirked as she spin rapidly, forming a tornado and then throw it toward them.
Blake, Yang, Sora and Goofy dodge the tornado as Elise charge toward and swing her rapier toward G. They swing at each other rapidly until Elise thrust combo him and then graceful throw a water imbued slash on him. G jump over and then slam her face to the ground.
"Augh!" She winched.
"Bellossum!" Bellossum throw Energy Ball at G as Emblem Micaiah throw Thani, but he deflects energy ball while hit by Thani and knock it toward Annette.
"Ngh!' She winched.
"Alakazam!" Alakazam used Psychic to restrain C until Nadia toss her Teddy Bear into the air and then it multiply and rain down bombs. "Al!"
Nadia throwing multiple needles while Lapis throw her battle axe toward Blake who created a shadow as she dodge. Lapis dash toward to grabbed and sent out a slash projection but Blake jump over and firing bullets at her. Lapis block and Yang charge toward to punch her, but Swin dash faster then her and slash her away. C sent out many slash projections as Charcadet used Flamewheel to circle around Altina and Ash, then Elise and then throw Fire Spin in the center.
Skeledirge throw Flamethower and hit Swin, pushing him away as Annette dash toward and swing at him with Crusher, pushing him away and Emblem ELliot throwing magic projections at him.
"Sonata's Rhythm Dance!" Elliot summon and rain down music staves aim toward C's group as they spotted and then dodge as best they can until Altina summon Bombs.
"Elemental Bombs!" She throw the bombs to scatter them, sending fire, water, wind and Earth Bombs to force C's group to shield themselves.
"Get behind me." G said as his group corner around G and he form a barrier to protect the group.
After the attack, C throw Nemesis arrows toward Kanji, Natsu, Lucy, Sora while Lapis throw Ivy Nail at Elise, Elliot, Blake and Yang as Nadia throw Flare Butterfly and exploded on Kanji, Donald and Goofy.
G summoned four boulders with wind spheres and throw them toward the group and then Swin dash toward Elise and slash her away. Swin rushes toward Sora to slash him as Donald, Goofy, Natsu, and Kanji charge at him. Swin equipped his sword together and then imbued it with power to unleash a powerful slash as Nadia throw Steel Wires to throw them to Elliot, Annette, Ash, and Altina as Lapis jumped high into the air and slammed down her axe to send a power surge toward them and exploded.
Ash swings against C as Ash swings wildly and then swings upward, forcing C to dodge, nearly hitting his helmet, and then G dash toward and punch his face. Elise throw Crystal Edge against the two but they both split up and G dashes toward to slash through her and kick her away.
"Augh!" She winched.
"Alakazam!" Alakazam throw Psychic Waves and hit and blow away C and G away.
"Come forth blades!" C summon multiple blades around him as he aim his arm, launch them toward the heroes.
"Prismatic Resonance!" Elliot yelled as he form musical barrier onto his team as the blade slashes the barrier and then G summon multiple ice cubes and then rain them down onto the ground.
Elliot send out a shockwave as they push back C's group.
"Teddurisa, Sweet Scent!" Nadia yelled
"Charcadet! Fire Spin!" Swin yelled
"Teddy/Chaar!" Both Pokemon unleashed their moves as Sweet Scent is spreading while Fire Spim was toward the group as a vortez.
Natsu got in front to eat it, only to hit sweet scent.
"Ooh yeah baby." Natsu smirked but felt dazed.
"Natsu, get out of there!" Lucy throw her whip and pull Natsu out of there as Annette throws Wind magic to blow the sweet scent away.
Annette dash toward and swing Crusher but G swoop in and swing his sword. They swing at each other fierce until G kick Annette as Sora dash toward him to swing at him. G block punch Sora in his face and then throw kicks and punches toward Elise, Donald, Goofy and Balke and took his stand to dash toward and rapidly slash against Yang. Yang growled as she throw bullets at him with her gauntlets.
C imbued his sword with dark energy and then swung against the group with dark slashes while Swin dashed with superhuman speed to slash against Elliot, but he block with his staff and then swing at him, but he block as Primarina threw Hydro Pump at him. Swin backflip as Charcadet throw Night Shade onto Kanji. Kanji dodge and charge toward the Poekmoni and swing at him, but Charcadet was saved by Teddiursa with Slash to intercept.
Sora airstep and then used Ars Arcanum onto C, G, Nadia, Lapis and Swin and shotlock them with Zemurian Divine, throwing multiple projections as they taken the hit. Nadia throw steel wires to grabbed and toss Sora to Kanji and then she pull and throw a barricade of needles at Altina who shield herself with Claiomh Solais as Ash jump overhead for his Craft: Rumbling Slam. Lapis swoop in and interfere.
"All right, let's shatter this barrier." Edelgard pull out her Amyr and unleash a heavy swing, powerful enough to shattered the barrier.
"Now!" Rean yelled.
"I think not." G snapped his finger and summon a tornado onto the group to pull the heroes in and then slam them to the ground.
"We're not done yet!" Ragna growled as they got back on their feet.
"Yeah! So give me back my ARCUS unit!" Millium readied her stand.
"K~" Nadia smirked as she pull out her ARCUS Alpha and throw it at Millium.
"Huh?" She catches her ARCUS Alpha.
"Hope you like the bomb I put inside."
"What?!" Rean eye widen.
"Eeeek!" Millium sheik.
"BOOM!" Nadia yelled until she laughed. "Kidding!" She along with Swin, G and C pull out a smoke bomb. "See you later!"
They throw the smoke bombs to the ground, forcing everyone to cover their eyes as C's group hurried their way to a secret escape route.
'An escape route...' Kevin thought as he and Ries quickly followed them.
"Excalibur!" Annette throw her wind magic to blow the smoke away.

"H-Hey! Where did they go!?" Ruby look around.
"Damn it, they got away!" Ragna growled.
"But to where?" Edelgard wondered
"Huh?" Levi heard the wind. "Did the wind pimp up all of the sudden?" Then he realized. "Oh, I see."
The group headed toward the direction to the wind and they discovered a hidden passage
"They fled underground." Elliot said.
"Should we pursue them?" Monica asked.
"Yes, after we update Representative Regnitz. They can't have gone far!" Rean answered.

"Looks like we managed to get away." Swin said.
"Yes. And now the bait begins." C said as they kept running.
