Damian saw the world burning as he smiled. He was older now and became the new Batman, bodies were piled around him with only one obstacle in his way. Richard was trying to crawl away from Damian, his legs were broken he was beaten and bloody. Damian slammed his foot on Nightwing's back, he yelled in pain. "Where do think your going brother?" Damian kicked him around to face him. "...D-dont call me..that. Your...no brother of..mine" Richard let out, his breathing ragged. Damain held a gun to his head and shot him, he smiled, now he finally won no one stood against him and yet he faintly heard someone calling for him, "Damian...Damian...Damian wake up"

Damian's eyes shot open he was sweating and breathing hard, he closed his eyes and breathed slowly before answering the girl in his head "I'll be there after I shower" he answered as he got ready. It's been three days since he was healed from his fight against Reaper, Raven has been waking him up with breakfast and been holding onto him throughout the day he loved it but couldnt last forever. He entered the kitchen area where he was met with the smell of pancakes Raven smiled at him as she was cooking, she was wearing a small black t-shirt with a jacket over it and jeans with the necklace that he gave her but Damian couldn't help but look at her as if she was wearing the most beautiful dress in the world. He hugged her and gave her a soft kiss as they said good morning. When the sat down down Kori and Richard decided to make an announcement. "We will be going away for a couple days to check on some people and gather intel on others who could potentially be a target to Reaper. We don't know how or why but based on his focus on Me, Damian and Slade we figured out that his targets are those who have been resurrected by the lazarus pits." Richard said to the group as Kori then added "We will only be gone a few days and trust that the city is in good hands with all of you and I want to thank Jon for helping out while we are gone. If you need us dont hesitate to call." Everyone said their goodbyes to the duo and wished them luck and everyone else went on their day.

Raven and Damian were cuddling on the couch as Jon sat across from them while they all watched a movie. This has becom a regular occurrence in the last few days, either him and Raven would cuddle while watching a movie or reading together or just resting, both have been enjoying this and part of Raven is still scared about almost losing Damian she nuzzled closer into her boyfriend's chest. Damian kissed her head as as he's been enjoying these last few days but he decided tomorrow he needs to go back to training, they would still do things like this but just not as often as they have been able to. In truth Damian wanted to go back to training the day after he was healed but Raven begged him not to so he's been given Raven this time. Garfield and Jamie came into the room, "Guys we have an idea and I think it's great, we should have a party tomorrow!" Gar exlamed The trio on the couch each looked at him skeptically, then Jaime explained, "What he means to say is with Kory and Richard gone we could throw a party but not just any party a super party eveyone who show up will be like us a young hero or someone in the know." Jon smiled "I like that idea been a while since I've been on Earth would like to see everyone and maybe even new people." Raven was skeptical of the idea of so many new people being around so many emotions and too many things can go wrong. Damian felt her unease and got up. "We should be training, we have a new foe that is targeting our friends, he has a blade that if even grazed could kill you and he was trained by the league of assassins. This is not the time for games or parties. I nearly died fighting him, he killed Slade, if it wasn't for Jon I wouldnt have survived. If he wanted to he could have killed Raven. We need to step up and be better." Damian clenched his fist, he couldn't have protected Raven, he knows with her powers she wouldn't need protection but she had her powers disabled and he couldn't save himself how would he have saved her. Raven reached into his mind feeling that he was hurt and in pain "Damian it's ok he caught you off guard and after fighting Slade, you are more than skilled enough to stand your ground. And I'm here safe with you and yes if I had my powers We could have taken him, we are stronger together. I was against the party but maybe it wouldn't be so bad to unwind then we get hard at work with training." Damian gave in, "If we do this do you all promise to train with me after?" Everyone nodded in agreement and Gar excitedly said "Alright let's get ready to party!!"

So who can we expect to come to this party?' Jon asked as he was setting up a disco ball. "Lets see, the newest kid flash, his flashy friend from China, Aqualad, Aquagirl, Connor, Miss Martian, and many more." Gar said as he was getting food, Jon showed a little discomfort at the mention of Connor. "Everything ok Jon?" Raven asked sensing his discomfort. "Yea things are just a little weird with Connor and me him being half a clone of my dad and all, not to mention us both being called Superboy." Jon replied ok more or less to see him. "Im happy to see a few of these people like Kimiko, ran into her a few times in the League." Damian said to the surprise of everyone. "You do realize this is a party and not like a tournament or something right?" Jaime said half jokingly. "You know you guys really need to change the passcodes to this place. I haven't been a titan in a few years and I can still show up." Damian scowled at the newcomers as everyone else welcomed them with open arms. "Drake, Brown, I would say its a pleasure but I dont have the energy to lie." Tim Drake and Stephinie Brown rolled their eyes. "Nice to see you too little demon." Tim said as he ruffled Damian's hair playfully but Damian slapped his hand away, Tim sighed frustrated that Damian hated him still after all this time even with Tim trying to fix things between them. "Aww dont be like that little D" Stephanie tried to ease the tension between the two by calling Damian the nickname she gave him when he was smaller. Things were different then, Damian was nicer to her and more like a little brother hence the nickname but ever since she started dating Tim he acted like he couldn't stand her. Damian growled at the mention of the nickname. "Im not so little anymore Brown plus I would like you to not embarrass me anymore in front of my friends and girlfriend he said looking at Raven. "Um...hi?" Raven said sheepishly blushing as she gave a small wave. Tim and Steph's eyes went wide and yelled "You have a girlfriend?!" Steph ran and hugged Raven before dragging her away "OMG we have so much to talk about come on hehe" Damian yelled at the two as they went away "Brown if you say anything embarrassing I'll Drake and then you!" Tim just shook his head "Cant believe you have a girlfriend I'm-" Damain cut him off. "What your surprised that someone would love me is that what you were going to say?!" Damian stared Tim down but Tim just gave Damian a strange look he couldn't quite place almost like he was hurt before he furrowed his brows. "Doesn't matter what i was going to say now, I'm surprised you have the ability to love anyone." Tim snapped back he hated saying things like this but he felt it was the only way to get closw to Damian, through agression. Damian shoved his way past Tim to cool off, Garfield being Garfield said "Goodthing Firestorm is coming he can thaw Damian's cold shoulder haha" everyone facepalmed at the joke. Elsewhere Nightwing and Kory also facepalmed "I dont know why I did that".

Sorry for the long wait hope everything I have planned is worth the wait. Also hope my writing is improving and you all enjoy it cause Im hard at work at my first book that I plan to publish, Asteria Dark Beginnings. This book means alot to me and so do the characters, much like this story, I see and write part of me into the characters. I plan on sharing updates of the book on my profile here.
