Trails into Reverie: The Chaos of Babel

Crossbell has finally gained its independence. The SSS and all of Crossbell finally have their dreams come true. Suddenly, Rufus Albarea and the newly established Ebon Defense Force attacked and took over Crossbell once more. Three Heroes: Lloyd, Rean, and a mysterious masked man must work together to solve this crisis and free Crossbell together once more with friends all over.

13. Act 2 Lloyd's Route Dark World

(Trails into Reverie ost - A Moment of Warmth)

Lloyd and everyone open their eyes.

"Huh? What just happened just now?" Chie asked

"Do I have a few screws loose, or does something feel off?" Lechter ask with a suspicious look.

"Yeah, it's like I just spaced out." Rixia agreed.

"That's odd... why did we all lose conscious all of the sudden?" Erza wondered.

"Good question. It's as if..." Lloyd look at the mirror. 'Something doesn't add up. It's like my body suddenly feel different. I feel... stronger? How is that possible? There must be more to this mirror than meets the eye."

"Is everything all right, Lloyd?" Elie asked. "Is something on your mind?"

"No, it's nothing. Nothing important, anyway." Lloyd put the mirror away. "I'm more concerned about what we're going to find at the Ancient Battlefield. Let's go." He said as they take off.

(Trails into Reverie ost - Chaotic Sludge)

They arrived at the Ancient Battlefield.

"The Ancient Battlefield... Been a while since I last needed to come here." Lloyd said. "If I remember correctly, the Imperial Army had a camp set up here until recently."

Elie nodded. "That's right. It was taken down when they withdraw from Crossbell."

"I sense something menacing father inside, and it isn't just the monsters roaming around." Rixia warned

"Thought I felt somethin' when we passed here earlier. Good to know the old instincts haven't lost their touch." Lechter replied.

"Man, you guys are like mega epic with those senses of yours." Chie said. "Also come to think of it, so that was that funny feeling I been getting."

"Man, our bodies definitely felt weird but in a good way." Yosuke said

"Maybe, however, we shouldn't let our guard down in this place." Terra pointed out. There's no telling what we might find here."

"Yeah. We need to stay alert." Lloyd fist pump. "Everyone proceed with caution. Let's look out for one another!"

"Right!" Everyone nodded and they take off and spotted a couple of Salamandragons.

"Wow. The Ancient Battlefield lives up to its name." Veyle said amused. "Lloyd, aside from the Imperial Army, was there a reason why it's called the Ancient Battlefield?"

"It was name after many battles against Erebonia and Calvard during the Middle Ages. It is said that spirits of the fallen still roam these lands."

"Yikes! Better hope we don't find any here..." Yosuke muttered.

"Still, I hope all those soldiers be at peace." Sakura said as they see the gate is closed. "Is that a gate up ahead?"

"Yep. It's not opening up from the looks of it." Lechter said.

"Hmm. Let me open it." Terra said as he approached it, summon his Keyblade, aim and fired a beam of light on it, causing the gate to open.

"Whoooa." Lloyd said in awe along with Lechter, Elie, Rixia, Erza, and the others.

"Damn, now that's what I call the door opener." Lecter slapped his hands.

"So this is one of the Keyblade's ability? What an incredible weapon..." Elie said in awe.

"It can open any luck, correct?" Rixia asked

"Yes. The Keyblade is many things." Terra answered

"The Keyblade truly is a mighty weapon. I hate for such a weapon be use for evil like Xehanort." Camilla said as they keep going until they reach a large area.

"We've been expecting you." A voice said as they see Cao Lee accompanied by a Mienshao and Lau.

"I suspected it was you." Rixia muttered

(Trails of Cold Steel IV ost - Constraint)

"Hey, your that suspicious looking guy back during the Great Twilight!" Chie shout.

"What was his name again...?" Yosuke asked

"Allow me to introduce myself those I'm not acquainted with. I am Cao Lee. The branch manager of Heiyue in Crossbell." Cao Introduce himself. "A pleasure as always Yin—ah. I keep doing that. You prefer Rixia." Cao said

"Yin?" Elise (Fire Emblem) asked

"It's... a name that I'll explain another time." Rixia replied

"It's good to see you're in good health as well, Miss MacDowell. Along with familiar faces like the Persona Users I've heard much about." Cao chucked. "And if it isn't Major Arundel! I trust you've been keeping well since we last met?"

"I'm getting by." Lechter answered. "I've had my hands full since the last time we teamed up."

"So good to see you remember. You were a valuable asset indeed. I wish I could be as satisfied with the sad state Crossbell is in." Cao sighed. "Thank goodness Master Xin returned to the Republic just before all of this began."

"Indeed. It was quite the stroke of good fortune." Lau agreed.

"Although I must say..." Cao tucks his glasses as he turns to Lloyd. "I am rather surprised to see you among them Detective Bannings. I recalled that you were killed in action by one of the Supreme Leaders in front of many witnesses. Your head was cut off and your corpsed was devoured by the Heartless that Master Xehanort summoned. And yet here you are. Is this the miracle of the Goddess? Or was that a body double?"

"I suppose you can call it a miracle." Lloyd said. "It was thanks to a dear friend of mine that I was brought back from the dead. And that all my friends who refuse to let me go... that my heart and soul remain in limbo until I was called back."

"Lloyd..." Elie whispered.

"I see. My, my. I always knew that you were an intriguing man, Detective. But for you to even receive blessing from even the gods? I can't tell if you are the luckiest man in the world that compared to the Ashen Chevalier and a few other people I could name."

"I know right?" Yosuke agreed. "First I thought it was my partner who has luck with all the girls I've known. Then I found out Lloyd not only has a beautiful girlfriend, but even another beautiful woman like Rixia helping him out. And then there's Rean, Kirito... seriously, what the hell is with you guys?!" He palm-faced as he complained. "Why can I get all that luck?!"

Everyone sweatdrop as they turn to Yosuke.

"Yosuke, is this really the good time for you to complain about your bad luck?" Chie asked, giving a deadpan look.

"Although he does have a good point with Lloyd being a lady killer." Gajeel pointed as he fold his arms with a smirk.

"Yeah, I can understand that Elie might feel troubled with Lloyd's charm." Banjo agreed.

"I bet that implied to his Emblem too. You two better not cheat on Elie, otherwise, we'll have a problem." Kazooie giving Lloyd and Emblem Lloyd the stink eye.

"I-It's not like that! I would never cheat on Elie!" Lloyd exclaimed. "Especially since... I kinda propose to her." He said, causing everyone to have an ! over their heads and Elie blushing red as she smiled.

"Wait, you PROPOSE to her?!" Takumi asked in shock. "When did that happen?"

Steve then got a light bulb over his head and write a sign. "Oooh so that is why Elie was a lot more cheerful than she was before when they were alone."

"Lloyd you dog, you. Hahaha!" Shulk laughed.

"Oh, Elie! I'm so happy for you!" Rixia clapped her hands in joy.

"Aha... Thank you Rixia." Elie smiled as she was so embarrassed. 'This is so embarrassing... But I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with joy...'

"Oh lala~ I spy another wedding in the future~" Camilla said excitedly.

"Oh, this is so exciting! I'm sure everyone would be happy for your engagement!" Celica smiled.

"Ahaha. Thanks guys. But, I think we're getting off track here." Lloyd said.

"Oh, right." Rixia cleared her throat. "I thankful you contacted me, at least. Might I ask where Ilya, KeA and Jigglypuff are?"

"You needn't worry." Cao glance to his back. "Ilya is in the fortress behind us. After all, we wouldn't want them being hurt, now, would we?"

Lucario sense an attack. "Everyone, incoming!" He yelled as they jump back against the throwing knives and then gathered around and see many Heiyue minions coming out from hiding with a group of Passimian.

"The hell?! Where did these guys come from?" Alm asked, looking around as he glared as everyone took their battle stand.

"I wish I could say I didn't see this coming." Lloyd muttered.

"You made your position so obvious by not appearing during the chaos at the signing ceremony." Rixia growled.

"So you've also collided with that man?" Nel asked, giving a disappointed look.

"Oh, how little trust you have in me... or you perhaps trusted exactly I'd do." Cao said sarcastically. "The Co-Surpemre Leaders made contract as we were considering our Crossbell branch's future under renewed independence. Once the elders gave their blessing, we decided to take him up on their generous offer."

"You really are the worst." Emblem Lloyd growled.

"Do these scoundrels know any sense of honor?" Emblem Eirika asked.

"Loyalty means nothing to them. They'll betray you in an instant if the price is right." Rixia glance to the minions. "What's more, given their formation and numbers... they knew exactly who among us would be coming."

"Haha!" Cao chuckled. "Astude as ever, Yin. Yes, a kind-hearted informant told us exactly who we should expect, letting us be fully prepared." He said as his eyes glance at Lecter.

"As Informant?" Min Min raising an eyebrow. "Who would tell you that we were coming?"

"Don't tell me if was—" Elie turn to Lecter.

"No, it couldn't have been Lechter." Lloyd told them. "There would have been no reason to stop the EDF from killing us if he was working with Rufus, too."

"Oh hey, you're right!" Yosuke said.

"That's a fair point." Rafel said.

"Hah. Are you sure you aren't just being too naive?" Lechter asked

"So you're admitting it?" Terra giving him the dirty look.

"Nope. Just saying." Lechter then give Cao a smirk. "But yeah. Pretty sure you wanted 'em to suspect me, didn't you, White Orchid Dragon?"

"Wait, you're saying he WANTED us to suspect you?" Chie gasped before glaring at Cao. "Why that sneaky coward! You got some nerve!"

"Yeah, that was a dick move!" Yosuke agreed.

"My apologies from the convulsion." Cao said sarcastically.

"Oh now you're being sarcastic." Emblem Lucina glared

"I simply thought it would be easier on you if you didn't know the truth."

"And what exactly is that supposed to mean?" Lloyd glared

Lechter close his eyes. "I'm starting to get it now." he opened his eyes. "We haven't had contact with that many people since the ceremony. That basically narrows the informant down to someone in Armorica. Someone who knows us well enough to give him accurate information on what to expect"

"It was my suspicion as well." Erza said. "But the question is... who."

"Rixia..." A voice spoked as the group turn to the voice, revealing to be Shanshan who came out of hiding.

"No..." Rixia eye widen. "Shanshan?" She said in disbelief.

"So you're the informant." Lucario said with a disappointed look.

(Trails into Reverie ost - Mysterious Element)

"I told him everything he wanted to know." Shanshan said. "That you, two members of the SSS came to the village with that silver-haired girl along with a few of those spirits... along with the red-haired man, and the two people with you who'd been to our restaurant. Then, I saw you teaming up with the other people with you as you all headed to the clinic."

Rixia glared at Cao. "What have you done to her?! Is she under some kind of hypnosis?!"

"Please." Cao shook his head. "I may be capable, but you should know that such things fall outside my area of expertise. Although we do have Pokemon who can use Hypnosis. But I can assure you, we did nothing of the sort. All I did was lend an ear to a kind-hearted young woman who wanted what was best for her friend."

"Let's go home, Rixia." Shanshan was cloak in a dark aura. "The world will be a better place if we do what the co-supreme leader says. You won't have to do anything dangerous ever again..."

"I can't be... Shanshan... you're doing this because you're worried about me?" Rixia muttered

"That aura...!" Lucario growled.

Veyle gasped "It's the same aura that brainwashed the people of Crossbell!"

"So she was under its control too..." Emblem Tiki muttered.

"Must've gotten to her without her even realizing it. I'd guess it was dormant till something triggered it to make her loyal to the co-supreme leaders." Lechter remark

"A-Are you certain?" Sakura shuttered. "How is that possible?"

"It seems we're dealing with some sort of unknown magic or power that affects the mind." Lucario remark. "Something similar to the Great Twilight that corrodes the mind. Like a devil whisper to their ears, or perhaps it found its way through feeling vulnerable or giving up hope. A force that has govern over will power."

An ! appeared over Shulk's head. "Something like Joker and the other Phantom Thieves had to fight in their world to slay an evil god!"

"What?" Lloyd turn to Shulk in shock along with Elie, Lechter and Rixia. "The Phantom Thieves had gone through all that?!"

"Then... that means we're dealing with something similar to that?" Elie asked

"Pardon the interruption, but I do believe you'll have time for speculation as you're being escorted back to the city." Cao said. "Lau."

"Certainly." Lau approached and took his stand. "I'm afraid we must take you into custody. Please try not to take it personally."

"Stay on your toes! Each of them is skilled in Eastern martial arts!" Lloyd yelled

"Hold on!" Shanshan approached Cao. "This isn't what we agreed! You said you wouldn't hurt them—"

Cao did a Poke to Shanshan's forehead and she lost consciousness.

"Shanshan!" Rixia yelled.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Lloyd growled

(BGM ended)

"Settle down. I merely rendered her unconscious for a short while." Cao replied before he chuckled. "We'll send her back to the city with you, so don't worry."

(Trails into Reverie ost - Aim a Gun at the Bullet)

"Here they come!" Takumi readied his bow.

"Sorry, Cao, but we'll be leaving here on our own power! Let's do this, Rixia!" Lloyd yelled

"Of course! You won't have the time to regret what you've done! Let's go, Umbreon!"

"Umbre!" Umbreon hissed

"We'll back you up—for KeA and Ilya's sake too!" Elie agreed. "Let's go Lilligant!"

"Lilligant!"

"Then leave the small fires to us." Chie smirked. "Let's see which one of us is more skill in the Japanese martial arts!"

"Gather!" Terra raises his Keyblade and cast Magnega to pull a couple of Heiyue's Minions into the magnetic Orb along with the Passimian.

"Waah!" S couple of Heiyue members yelled as Terra used use Ars Arcanum on the capture ones as Rixia, Yosuke, and Chie dash to a few Heiyue members to slash with them.

One Heiyue member throw fist and knives while the other palm strikes and kicks. Yosuke dodge and counter by slashing and then throwing knives as one dodge but he slide kick to knock one off his feet and then kick him away.

"Jiraya!" Yosuke summoned his Persona and throw in Magarudyne to hit every Heiyue member and Lau as a blast of wind struck them.

Camilla dashed toward Lau and swing at him. He dodges and throws hand-to-hand combat against her and pushes her away. Camilla holds her ground and then tosses her axe at him, he catches the axe as Elise throw Thunder Magic at him. He jumps away as Bango's shoulder bashs him and Kazooie firing Blue eggs hitting him rapidly until Steve throw his diamond axe at him.

The four Passimian ran up to for Close Combat against Shulk, Min Min, Gajeel and Lucario.

"Iron Dragon Sword!" Gajeel swing his arm as it transforms into a long wide swing and slam heard against the Passimian.

Min Min spotted two Heiyue coming in hot as she throw her arms as they dodge. Min Min retracted her arms and then two Heiyue members throw swift punch and kick, took a stand and throw a powerful punch but Min Min dodge each of them and then backflip then spread her Arms to punch them and blasted them with gunfire, then switch to a ring and heavily to slash them away. Min Min rashes toward the two members as Chie throw a hand to hand combat against a Heyue member and were evenly match until Chie block and counterattacks with a spinning kick repeatedly to his face and curl her legs on the member's neck, twist her body and slam him to the ground.

Passimian lash out Thrash toward Chie as she shield her arms with her arms and then summon Tomoe to slash him. Chie follow up with a palm strike and uppercut him and Tomoe cartwheel slash him down.

Two Heiyue members throw their fist and kicks against Nel and Rafel but they block and counter as Nel throw thrust attack, swirl her lance and then thrust attack while Rafel swing hif axe fiercely to knock him away. The two Heiyue members slid and then both throw knives at them. The Fell Dragon Twins deflected them and then the two charge at them for a powerful palm thrust attack. Rafel imbued his axe with dark energy and swing heavily enough to knock away the teo Heiyue member with an explosion cleaver to the ground.

Shulk swing fiercely against two Heiyue members as one block and throw a kick at him, but Shulk block with his hand and the other throw a punch to his face, knocking him away as he stabbed the ground. Shulk took his stand, dashes and then swing at them fierce, knocking them away as they slid. Shulk go for Buster Mode and then unleash a powerful slash on them, knocking them to the ground.

Erza dash toward and swing fiercely against four Heiyue members who dodge and two counterattack by throwing power empowed knives at her. She deflected it then two Heiyue members dash and throw a powerful punch attack at her. Erza was push away but she hold her ground, dash and slash through Heiyue members, leaving a trail of two wide slashes on them.

"Augh!" They fell on their backs in defeat as she Requip into her Clear Heart Clothing and dash with superhuman speed and swing slash the other two, knocking the two away.

"Ngh! What strength!"

"So this is Fairy Tail's Titania..."

The two Heiyue members look down as they sense a magic circle and they both dodge the purple fire attack cause by Veyle. Both ran toward her as she fire multiple purple projections. Each of them throw fist and kicks at her but Veyle dodge while Emblem Tiki block with a dragon stone shield and Veyle swing down her arm and throw a blast of dark magic a them as it erupt the ground and then blasts the two away.

Takumi and Sakura both fire their arrows toward two Passimians and Heiyue members as they dodge one of each dash toward them while one Heiyue member throw knives at them. Both dodge the knvives as one Passimian throw Thrash at them while the Heiyue member throw out a flurry of punches. The two shield themselves as Takumi swings his Fujin Yumi to hit Passimian and then kick a kick while Sakura used the arrow as a sword and swing against it while Passimian shields itself with its arm and then throws Drain Punch at her.

Sakura was knock away as Passimian heal himself, then Sakura pull and fired her arrow, hitting Passimian's shoulder and then she pull and charge another one, imbued it with light magic and fired. Passimian tilt his head and charge at Sakura for Close Combat, but Sakura pull two arrows and fired, knocking Passimian back and then pull three more and fired them, dealing damage as Sakura then imbued one arrow and fired into a magic beam to knock it away.

Takumi and the Heiyue member throw hand-to-hand combat against each other until the Heiyue member pummeled Takumi and then punched his face, grabbed his arm to restrain him position where he had his arm around his neck. Takumi elbow and then punch the Heiyue member and crescent kicked him then fired an arrow to knock him away to the ground. Takumi charge and fired a powerful shot and blow the member away.

Panther Lily transform and swing at his sword fierce against two Passimians as they dodge his sword swings, one catches it while the other throw a kick to his face. Lily drop his sword as the two Pokemon then pummel him with their first. Lily shields himself with his arms throws one punch to one Passimian away while spin kick the other. Lily grabbed his sword and then swing swiftly and fierce against the Passimian while the other Passimian dive down for Drain Punch, only for Lily to block and knock him away with a swing of his strength.

Lucario and two Heiyue members both throw fist each other as Lucario block each attack and then used Bone Rush to hit the both of them, swirl his materlized energy Bone and slask the both of them and then throw Meteor Mash to knock them away. Lucario throw the bone onto the Heiyue members and it exploded on them.

Alm and Celica swing against two Heiyue members until Alm thrust attack while Celica throw Fire Magic. The two dodge and then took a stand and throw a strong thrust to push them away and then throw knives at them. Arm swing to deflect them and Celica channeled magic and used Ragnarok on them. Then Alm dashed toward and unleashed a powerful slash to push them away. The two Heiyue members dash toward and throw their fist and kick as Alm and Celica dodge them. Alm swing fiercely as they backflip and then throw a punch projections. Alm backflip switched with a bow, and fired a powerful shot at them as Celica throw thrust projection, imbued her sword with magic, then throw slashes onto them as Alm finished them off with a powerful wide slash down attack, knocking them on the ground.

Lloyd and Emblem Lucina throw punch and slashes against Lau who blocks and then counters with his fist, but Emblem Lucina block and coutner as Lloyd throw a series of punches and then kick him away as Elie firing shot, hitting Lau with Emblem Lloyd punching him. Lau punched the Emblem but he vanished as Rixia dash toward for a slash attack. Lau took a strong stand and then threw a powerful punch projection at her but she backflipped as Lechter threw Flare Butterfly, hitting him and then Rixia throw her claws to the ground, pulled her and slashed through him.

"Mmgh!" Lau winched as he hold his ground and then punch Rixia and dash toward Lechter.

Lau swing at Lechter rapidly but he block with his rapier until parry him with a wide slash and then Kecleon used Shadow Claw to knock Lau away. Umbreon charge in and used Crush on Lau and then toss him into the air as Lilligant throw Energy Ball and knocked him out of the sky. Lau landed on his feet, only for Arcanine to used Extreme Speed to knock him away. Lau stomp as a piece of the earth was knocked into the air and he kick it toward Lloyd who punch the rock as it shattered.

Elie shoot at him with orbal shots but he backhand them and then dash toward her. Lloyd got in front to block his attack and then they swing at each other. Lloyd rate his Tonfos to hit him and then pummel him and then throw a powerful punch to knock him to the wall.

"Nugh!" He winched as he fell on his butt.

(BGM ended)

All of Heiyue's members and their Passimian were knock down in defeat.

(Trails into Reverie ost - Dark World)

"All right, that should be all of them." Shulk said.

"All right, Cao, I will give you a warning." Rixia unleash her battle aura as she glared. "Hand over KeA, Ilya and Shanshan, or we'll leave you no other choice!"

The other Heiyue Members who can still fight flinch of Rixia's strength.

Cao let out a sigh. "I suppose I should have known that even Lau wouldn't be able to defeat you now."

"My apologies, Master Cao." Lau muttered as he got back on his feet but wounded out.

"You're outnumbered Cao. Give KeA back to us." Lloyd glared "You know this won't end well for you if you continue to resist."

"I'll admit that you make a convincing argument. However, I should inform you that I only have Miss Ilya in our custody. I don't have Miss Bannings."

"What?"

"But you said in your letter that you have KeA!" Elie yelled.

"True. However, it was a request from someone else who has Miss Bannings under their custody. But I can assure you that they brought Ms. KeA with them." Cao fold his arms behind his back. "And of course, unfortunately, a few observers have arrived to make sure I honor our agreement."

"Well. Looks like you're in deep shit." A voice spoke as they turn their heads on the fortress to see Garcia accompanied by a few EDF Soldiers have their guns pointed at Ilya who is tied up. Accompany them were three Iron Threads.

"Garcia?! What are you doing here?!" Lloyd yelled

Rixia gasped "He has Ilya with him!"

"But where's KeA?" Elie asked.

"Oh, she's perfectly fine. At least for now." A voice said as appearing, sitting on one of the stone towers was Dimentio.

"You!" Terra growled. "That jester!"

"Why hello, hello one and all! And my, what a lovely crowd we have here today." Dimentio casually waved his hand.

"Dimentio... So you're also one of Rufus's allies!" Lloyd growled.

"That I am. I couldn't help but accept the offer of putting on a show." Dimentio grinned. "Oh, but allow me to introduce to those I have yet met face to face before." Dimentio got up. "I am the master of Dimensions." He did the peace sigh over his left eye. "A pleaser of crowds." He spread his arm. "The Magician who laugh at Crossbell for their pitiful state. Then he did a playful wink. "And a fan of playing the scheming game. Dimentio! Give a round of applause, everyone! For your favorite jester is here to make this show chaotic!"

"But I must say, there is one show I did not expect to keep on going." Dimentio turn to Lloyd. "I was shocked to think that you would come back from the dead, Detective. Your head was cut off and your corpse was devoured by the Heartless. You could imagine the reaction not just me... for the Co-Supreme Leaders." 'And of course... that man too. Oh, I can imagine the burning rage when he hears about this.' "They were quite furious. So tell me. How did you return?"

"That's none of your business jester." Lloyd glared.

"Aww, can't you tell me?" Dimentio chuckled as he notice Veyle in the group. "Oooh... Now I know how. It was her."

"...!" Veyle glared.

"Now it makes sense. She summons your soul and turns you into a Corrupted. Technically, you're still dead. Not unless you been given 'that' then this is a huge problem. I will have to report this."

"How did he know about Veyle's magic?" Rixia glared.

"It should not be possible... unless he's been researching everyone." Emblem Lloyd growled. "But if you're here, Jester. Then that means you have, KeA, do you?"

"Ahh, so you're Emblem Lloyd. Correct." Dimentio snapped his finger and Kea trapped inside a dark orb.

"Lloyd! Elie!" KeA yelled.

"KeA! Oh, thank goodness you're okay!" Lloyd sigh of relief. "Hold on, KeA! We'll rescue you and escape here together! Don't worry!"

"You've been really brave! Just hold on a little longer!" Elie added

"Ahahahaha! Oh I'm afraid that is not how it will play out, SSS." Dimentio grinned as he snapped and KeA was attacked by explosion inside.

"AAAAAAAAAH!" KeA screamed in agony.

"KEA!" Lloyd yelled in horror and then glare at Dimentio. "You bast—"

Arcanine spin jump to avoid the attack as Lloyd ran up and throw a flurry of punches, charge one final punch to knock Garcia to the wall.

Lechter imbued his sword with Red Energy, slashing and leaving trails of slashes on Iron Thorns to push him sliding.

"There's too many of them! It's like a swarm!" Elie exclaimed.

"Lloyd! You and the others deal with them! We'll hold off these monsters!" Camilla yelled.

Knuckles grabbed a piece of the earth and threw it at Infinite to form a shield to destroy it and then fired energy rays at him, Sonic, Lloyd, Elie, Lilligant, Rixia, Arcanine, Veyle and Umbreon as Iblis unleashed a fire breath attack toward the group.

Rixia jump high and throw Dragon Claw toward to grab Infinite and Mephlis but both of them dodge and fired rays of darkness at her, knocking her away as Umbreon throw Shadow Ball at Mephlis, pushing him toward Iblis. He catches his other half as Elie aim and firing multiple homing shots onto them, hitting them as Emblem Lloyd throw combo punches at them while the real Lloyd cloak in orange energy dash around Infinite to punch him. Infinite block and then punch Lloyd back. Veyle fired a purple beam to knock him way as Emblem Tiki throw a Dragon Stone projection. Iblis materialized a molted rock axe and then swing toward the Hedgehog as they dodged.

Elie charge an Orbal Arts with Veyle as Silver flew toward Iblis. Iblis swing at him but he dodge until he clapped its hands. Silver dodge that too as Amy throw her Hammer toward his face, aim directly at the eye, causing him to screech as he covered it. Tails in his Blue Typhoon firing bullets toward the giant flaming monster. Silver throw rocks toward Iblis to damage his body and then he recovers to unleash a heatwave toward the group.

Mephlis fired spears of darkness at Shadow but he dodge and countered with Chaos Spear but he dodged that at Infinite teleported and blasted Shadow. Knuckles dash to punch him but Infinite block, grabbed and throws him as Mephlis channel and slam two domes onto him, causing a powerful explosion.

Lilligant throw Giga Drain on Infinite to drain his HP while Elie throws Blue Ascension onto Iblis while Veyle cast Le Forte to buff her group. Amy Cast La Crest to boost her teams defense. Rixia used her craft: Phoenix Moon and toss her sword toward Mephlis and allowing Veyle to fired dark magic to knock him away with Emblem Tiki projection attack. Mephlis recovered and then summon fired energy-homing shots toward the group as Infinite block projections attack at her. Rixia dodge and lung toward him to slash him away.

"Divine Crusader!" Elie firing color shot and aim directly at Infinite, Mephlis and Iblis, striking them as Sonic Homing Shot Infinite and then repeatedly kicking him and then kick him down to the ground as Knuckles grabbed Mephlis, cartwheel and slam him down while Amy throw her hammer on Iblis's face.

The Tails throw bullets around Iblis who turn and then summon molted rock and aim toward him. Tails flew to evade them and Iblis punch the ground to send a wave of magma toward the group. Lloyd, Elie, Arcanine, Rixia, Lilligant, Veyle and Umbreon jump onto higher ground to avoid the attack.

Infinite raised his hand and fired a single block that multiple and rain down to attack the heroes while Mephlis summon portals and each one fire dark rays toward the heroes.

"Incoming!" Sonic yelled.

"Chaos Control!" Shadow channel and unleash a wavelength to slow down the attack and then allow Lloyd and his group.

Rixia dash toward the two and let out a series of slahes and then perform a cartwheel attack and repeatedly slashing them until she slash through and slash them. Elie charge and firing many homing shots toward Mephlis, infinite and Iblis, causing many energy explosion as Lloyd ran up to Iblis, jump up for an uppercut and then kick his face. Chaos Control was canceled and the attacks then converted into damage against Infinite's team.

Arcanine used Extreme Speed against Mephlis.

Lloyd then stomped on Mephlis, but he sank to the ground and reappeared behind him to send an energy spear to impale him. He dodged, grabbed and kicked his arm to cause him to wobble and punch him to the ground as Lilligant fired an Energy Ball at Infinite.

Infinite doge and kick it to the ground to cause and Explosion, then Umbreon used Crunch to capture and then throw him to the ground as Veyle channel a powerful sphere of her dark magic and slam it down on Infinite, causing a pillar of her power to surface to the sky.

There were even corpses of Combees, Miltanks, Digletts, Dugtrio, Mudsdale and Mudbray.

"Hahahaha!" Adam laughed crazily as he grinned and then see Cecile running away with her Cecile running away with a few survivors and Madame Regina in the arms of one of the survivers. "You're not going anywhere!" He lunged and got in front of Cecile.

"*Gasped* She gasped as Adam swung his sword as she used her arms as shield, only revealing a wound as blood came out. "AAAAAAAAAUGH!"

"CECIIIIIILE!" Lloyd screamed and then he dashed. "BASTAAAAAAAAARD!" He yelled in rage as Adam turn and block his attack.

Adam grinned. "You're too late!" He pushed Lloyd away and proceed to finish the job.

"Oh shut your damn mouth." Adam growled as Nu descended down. "She brought it upon herself the moment she accompanied Elie Macdowell. One of the "plagues" that needed to be purged. And every last one of these filthy and trashy humans deserves to die along with her! Something that I enjoy doing and watching! And now. I have more to slaughter." He aim toward the SSS, Rixia and Lechter who glared at him.

"Adam Taurus. The most vile of all Faunus who would go so far to exterminate mankind to force humanity into submission. Last I heard, you were supposed to be under Maleficent's control. Don't tell me she has a part of this." Lechter glared

Destroyers of Armorica - Adam and Nu-13

Lloyd form a combat link with Elie, Rixia form a combat link with Lechter. Emblem Lucina appeared by Lloyd's side and Emblem Lloyd appeared by Elie's side.

"The one called Adam is vulnerable to Earth Arts, Ground Type, Electric and Ghost Types moves. The one called Nu is vulurable to Wind Arts, Dark Types, Fire Types and Ice Types Moves." Lechter's ARCUS Alpha informed.

Nu throw countless sword toward Banning's group as Lloyd's combat linkability Protective Wall activated to project Elie as Rixia and Lechter dodged the blades as Adam lunged at Lloyd to slash him but he shielded himself. Lloyd punch him, but Adam block with his arm and then throw a crescent kick then slash him.

"Ngh!" He winche as Elie shoot at Adam.

Adam duck and backflip and then he lung at Elie to slash her, but she block with her orbal pistol and counter with a kick, only for Adam then block and punch her face and going to impale her, until Lloyd punch him in the face. Lloyd lung and throw a couple of fist against him, but Adam block his attack and then counter with slashes. Elie aim and fired at him as Lloyd jump away. Adam deflected the shots and then used his Semblance to send a powerful slash attack at her. Elie quickly dodge.

Meanwhile, Rixia is swinging her sword against Nu who block her attacks with her wings then then swing her blade arm to slash her but Rixia block and parried her. They swing at each other until Nu backflip and throw her blade her but Rixia deflects them. Nu dive for a kick and then punch Rixia away as Lechter throw Flare Butterfly on her, dealing her damage. Nu ran toward Lechter to blade kick him but Lechter block and then swing at her, Nu block with her blade arm and then her wing blade retracted to form into a bite attack. Lechter backflip as Nu aim her hands and throw blades at him. Lechter swiftly deflected them as Adam lung toward and slash him

"Ngh!" Lechter winched as Nu follow up the attack by dashing and flip kick, knocking him to the air and then perform a spin and swing her down arm and summon a giant sword to slam Lechter to the ground with a powerful force.

Elie fired multiple bullets that tharm both Nu and Adam's back and both turn to face her as Lloyd ran up and throw a powerful punch against Adam. Adam block with his sword and they swing at each other until Emblem Lucina appeared, blocking Adam and then counterattack and perform a horizontal slash at him and then Lloyd combo punch him and kick his guts. Nu sent out a spinning scythe at Lloyd and Elie as they dodge and then summon Gravity Seed to slow them down. Rixia teleported to slash Nu. Nu block the attack and then blade kick her. Rixia duck but she got a cut on her cut as Lechter swoop in and slash her. Lechter combo slash her with a cross slash and then unleash a powerful thrust to push her away.

Nu summon and throw countless blades at them. Rixia and Lechter deflected the blades until Adam sneak in from behind and slash their back.

"Augh!" They winched as the blades pierce through them, knocking them away.

Adam dash toward and swing against Lechter, but Elie cast Aerial Dust as the wind slashing around Adam. Lloyd ran up and then throw rapid punches on him and then uppercut him. Nu flew at high speed and punch Lloyd away as he slid. Nu summon a large blade and throw it at him. Lloyd roll to his left as Elie firing at Nu. Nu's wings block the attack and then Nu aim and fired many blades at her as she jump, roll and jump away. Adam landed on his feet and lung at Elie to slash her, but Emblem Lloyd appeared to block it and then punch him.

"Emblem Engage!" Elie rap her Emblem Ring and she engage with Emblem Lloyd. She materlized Lloyd's Tonfos and lung at Adam at high speed and punch his guts and then uppercut him.

Elie switch to her pistols and firing many homing shots at him and they exploded on contact. Nu teleported and grabbed Elie and slam her heard on the ground, dragging her and then throw her to the burn houses as it crumbled down on her.

"ELIE!" Lloyd yelled as Rixia used Dragon Claw to pull both Adam and Nu to her and slash them.

Rixia warp around to deal phantom slashes and then unleash a powerful swing to slash on Nu and Adam's back. Adam growled as he unleash his Semblance for a wide slash projection as Rixia dodge, then Lechter imbued his rapier with red energy and then dash, slash and then warp around the two destroyers, dealing slash marks that converted into damage. Lechter aim his hand as it cloak with red energy and did a gun fire gesture, sending magical energy to explode on the two.

Elie burst out of the ruin house and then aim her twin pistol and fired multiple Homing Hots onto Adam and Nu, causing an explosion. The Smoke cleared revealing Nu form a barrier and then she raised her arms and summon countless portals to rain down onto Lloyd, Elie, Rixia and Lechter. piercing through them all, causing them screams of agony.

"Augh!" Lloyd fell to his knees as he panted. "D-Damn it!"

"Nngh!" Rixia groaned. "She's... so strong...!"

Adam smirked. "Oh, I'm going to enjoy killing you lots." Adam approached and then grabbed Elie's hair.

"Augh!" She yelled

"Elie!" Lloyd yelled in shock as he got up to help her but Nu teleported and grabbed Lloyd's neck. "Augh!"

"Lloyd!" Rixia yelled and then Nu summon Gravity Seed to pin them down. "Augh!"

"Damn it!" Lechter growled. 'Where the hell is everyone?!'

"Hehehe... Were you hoping your friends to rescue you? I predicted that would happen, so I had the Heartless form a wall to block them." He said, causing them to have an ! over their heads. "They won't make it in time to save you pitiful lot. Now." Adam raised his sword as Elie eye widen in horror. "DIE!"

"MEGIDOLAON!" A voice yelled as a sphere of unfathomable power struck Adam and Nu's head, causing a powerful explosion.

"Augh!" Adam yelled as he and Nu were knocked away while also letting go of Elie as she cough."WHO DARES!"

"We." A Young man suddenly appeared from behind as Adam and Nut turn their backs and slash them with a powerful swing, pushing them away. " Megidolaon!" He pull a pistol and fired it as a Persona called Messiah as another massive energy sphere strong Adam and Nu.

"AAAAAUGH!" Adam yelled in agony as both him and Nu fell on their knees.

"Wha..." Lloyd's eye widen.

"A persona...?" Rixia gasped.

The Young man who save them has dark blue hair, unkempt at the front with bangs covering his right eye, blue eyes. His clothes are black tights with brown shoes. He wears a steel color wx cotton jacket with a blue stripe scarf around his neck. Underneath his jacket was a blue Flannel shirt.

"Is everyone all right?!" A voice yelled as another man approached to help Rixia and Lechter on their feet.

The man was a tall, bespectacled man with brown, short unkempt hair and a small stubble underneath his chin. He wears a blue dress shirt tucked into his upturned khaki slacks with a checkered dark blue tie. He wears a white lab coat over the top. On his feet he wears open-toed sandals without socks. Around his neck with a red strap.

"Yes, thank you for the assist." Rixia replied.

"Gah! Who the hell are you do!? How did you get passed the Heartless?!" Adam yelled.

"No one you should consider bothering." The young man pointed his sword at Adam. "You and your partner get lost. I won't hold back this time."

Adam gritted his teeth in anger. "Wretched human...! I'll remember this! I will kill you all next time! Nu, get us out of here now!"

"Roger." Nu said robotic as she activated a teleportation circle and vanished.

"Y-Yeah..." Lloyd take the man's hand and help him up and then stare at the entire burning village. "The village... everyone..." He remember all the people in the village, The Village Chief, the others, and the other who fled from Crossbell, they're all gone. Only a select few along with a few surviving children made it out alive. "Kgh... Everyone in Armorica... I couldn't save them... All the lives... gone..." Lloyd form a cross as he bend down and then scream to the sky. "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! RUFUS ALBAREA! XEHANOOOOOOOOOORT! I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOOOOOOOOOOOU!"

"Lloyd..." Elie gritted her teeth as tears came down from her eyes.

LLOYD BANNINGS?! I HAD HIM KILLED AND HE BEEN BROUGHT BACK FROM THE DEAD BY SOMBRON DEFECTED DAUGHTER?! RAAAAAAUGH!"
