In the night sky of Erebonia was a ship. Inside the ship was a young girl who was known by the heroes known as Jingo who is driving the ship. Entering the ship was Rufus, Neve, Swin, Nadia, and Lapis.

"You were quite punctual." Rufus comment.

"You bet." Jingo replied as she hit autopilot and turn to the group. 'Sup, and welcome aboard the Argo, the vessel of Neinvalli'a new high-speed transport service!"

Lapis gasped. "O-Our pilot is a child!"

"We're might've been better off on the ground or riding a Flying Pokemon..." Swin muttered.

"I'll have you know that I'm a licensed pilot. And that's real rich comin' from you guys." Jingo shot back. "You look like a bunch of kids about to go on a picnic with their daddies to me."

"Oooh. We got burned." Nadia giggled.

"But boy, did I not see your blond daddy's ID coming. Who knew my mystery client would turn out to be our formal governor general, Rufus Albarea?" But she recalled something. "Oops. What, do you prefer 'one of the supreme leaders' now?"

"Please. If I knew I'd be repeating myself so soon, I would have gathered my audience. That title is not mine." Rufus replied

"But then..." Swin paused

"Who's 'Rufus'?" Lapis asked.

"That's this guy's real name. C was a nickname." Nadia answered.

"So it's Rufus, huh? Hmm..." Lapis smiled. "I think it's much cuter than C! I give it 85 points!"

"Oooh! He kicked your butt, S!"

Swin sweatdrop. "Why would I care when I don't even get what criteria she's basing these on?"

"But what about you, G?" Nadia turn to Neve. "I believe one of those guys call you Neve, right?"

"That's right." Neve place his hand to his hip. "My actual name is Neve."

"Neve, huh?" Lapis tilt her head. "I don't think I heard that name before. What does that mean?"

"It means Snow."

"Ooh! Snow is pretty! It's sounds better than G too! So I've give it 90 points!"

"Ooooh! He kicked your butts, Rufus!" Nadia giggled.

"Like it matters to me." Rufus said. "Although part of me felt a bit annoying that I've been outranked by my partner."

"You're actually irritated by Lapis name raking farce?" Neve raised an eyebrow. "I had no idea you could be competitive."

"Hey. My base on ranking your name is not some farce!" Lapis pouted. "Anyway, are you famous, Rufus? Everyone seems to know who you are."

"He's not just famous. He's super famous. He's the elder son of House ALbarea, one of the Four Great Houses of Erebonia, and he became Crossbell's first governor general. Together with the Empire's chancellor and crown prince, he led the country to all-out war, but then he got arrested after it ended. That's all the big, common knowledge stuff, but trust me—I know all about the skeletons in his closet." Nadia explain, giving Rufus a playful scheming like look.

"Wow! You're so smart, Nadia!"

"Is knowing part of handling the 'unpleasant side of things'?" Rufus asked, looking slightly annoyed.

"Wow! You're so smart, Rufus." Nadia smiled sarcastically.

'Can't she try not to stir up trouble with him?' Swin thought.

"Heh. She may be a calculated little girl, but she does have a sharp tongue." Neve smirked.

"What about you, Neve? Are you super famous of Rufus since those guys know you." Lapis asked

"Actually, I don't know much about him. The only thing I can learn is just learn from a few days now." Nadia replied.

"I'm nowhere famous like Rufus, but I am rather acquainted with the people we've met. Before and during the Great Twilight." Neve explained

"And Neve is a personal friend of mine after the Great Twilight. After my arrest, he visit me from time to time to keep me company and telling me bits and pieces of how much time flies." Rufus said.

"Oh, so he's your buddy, huh? Tell me, do all of your friends supposed to be handsome looking?" Nadia asked

"Hehe. Unfortunately, I don't have any friends, even before the Great Twilight. All I see is people I am acquainted with."

"So he's your very first friend in a long time? Wow. You truly have a lonely life."

"No arguments there."

"But Rufus and I have something in common. We were introduced due to... a request from someone I know. It was a good place for me to see the strength of Sora, and Rean. Along with their friends of course." Neve replied.

"So that's the relationship with you guys?" Jingo asked. "Not that's my any of my business. I thought he was your accomplish or something. 'Cause three days ago, Rufus busted himself out of jail since he could lead a load of black-clad soldiers into Crossbell and occupy it again. Then he along with some old man name Xehanort declared themselves the new 'Co-supreme leaders' and claimed they were carrying on the late Chancellor Osborne's will."

"And you're saying that wasn't you?" Swin asked, looking at Rufus.

"Yeah—hang on!" Jingo said, realizing something. "You were in Crossbell yesterday AND at noon today making statements! When'd you have the time to go to Heimdallr?"

"He doesn't." Neve shook his head. "The Rufus who is in Crossbell making statements is actually an imposter who took his name. Whoever that person is replicated his appearance, manner of speech, and swordplay rather well. Almost exactly like a clone. The Rufus with us is the true Rufus Albarea. And I as his witness can asset to that."

"Well since Neve here can testify that, I guess I believe you. Even if Crossbell mistakes the other guy for the real deal. But I can also assume that your brother'd be able to tell the difference as well." Nadia replied

"Can't say I even care. I'm just in it for the mira." Jingo said casually. "Speaking of, I thought the Erebonian government seized all your are you gonna pay for your fare? Unless your buddy here is your sugar daddy."

"Never call me that." Neve said threateningly with an ice cold glare. "And I'm younger compared to him!"

"Whoops. My bad. That glare is as cold as your ice magic earlier."

Rufus chuckled. "I wouldn't mind if Neve would be paying for me. But I've kept my assets spread out in the event like this were to happen. What the government seized is a mere fraction of what I owe."

"You really do prepare for anything, huh?" Swin asked, convinced,

"And here I thought your sugar daddy was gonna pay for you." Nadia giggled.

"You know I'm capable of turning you into an ice statue, right?" Neve giving Nadia a dirty look.

"Oh, now I can see how you're just as cold as your ice magic~"

"Which is quite funny because Neve has a nickname: The Ice Keyblade Master." Rufus comment.

"Ice Keyblade Master? I never heard anyone from that title." Swin admit.

"Not surprising. Because no one call me that. I heard that nickname because of a certain jester, and a select few who knew about me. Some call me cold and sharp tongue. And the fact because both my hair and eyes are blue and I'm most skill in Ice magic."

"Yeah, I totally get that picture. But what the heck is a Keyblade part? Some time of sword?" Nadia asked

Neve summon his Keyblade.

"Whoa! He just made it appear!" Lapis exclaimed

"This is a Keyblade."

"Whooooa, it look so pretty." Lapis examine it.

"I've never seen a weapon like that." Swin examined it. "It's not sharp from the looks of it. It's like a blunt weapon. I see it attached to a keychain and has ice symbols as teeth?"

"Yeah. And look at its decorations. It's all ice-related theme. So this is also the reason you earn your title as the "Ice Keyblade Master"? Nadia asked

"Yes. Ice magic is something I'm proficient at. My Keyblade was originally white before it evolved into a stronger form. Keyblades a truly miraculous weapons. Like all weapons, it can take on any forms. But no weapons like the weapon you possess is capable of replicating its power."

"And what exactly is that power?" Swin asked

"Travel through worlds, opening and sealing barriers to other worlds, closing the Keyhole to the world, capable of locking and unlocking anything, and other modification."

Swin blinked. "Wait, hold on, what?"

"It's a long story but basically the core of the world. Or rather the heart of the world."

"A world has a heart?" Lapis asked.

"Yes. Like I said, think of it as a core. If the heartless gets to it. It will destroy this world, dragging it to the realm of darkness. And no one can survive the end of the world. They can either be devoured by the heartless or survive and take refugees to other worlds. That's why the Heartless fears the Keyblade because it's one of the weapons capable of destroying them completely. Other means will only make them temporarily go away. The Keyblade as other powers too. Like form changing. I'll show you when enter battle. But for now, let's get back to the main topic."

"Right. Why don't the two of you start filling us in with the blacks." Swin agreed.

"About what, exactly?" Rufus asked

"You. We don't plan to call things off just because we know who you are now... but you've got to admit that you're not an average guy, and that means being around you is a huge risk on our part. I think you owe us a more thorough explanation on what you were up to before we met and what you're after now. It's the least you can do if we're going to keep working together."

"Very well. I'd intended to do as much from the very beginning anyway. You'll have to understand the full scale of our situation before we advance to the next stage. As you all know by now, I've taken all of the blame for the late Chancellor Osborne's crimes onto myself. The reason for this is to quell the unrest in both Erebonia and Crossbell and to honor our late chancellor. After I was arrested and placed in Aurochs Fort until my trial. Things were going normal as Neve visit me from time to time. But around nightfall on March 14th, Aurochs Fort in the Kreuzen province fell under attack. Behind this attack was the work of the Ebon Defense Force. Their goal is to aid and free the Imperial Defense Force who were arrested for occupying Crossbell to join their ranks. Upon freeing them from their underground prison, they continue to another cell. My cell. However, instead of freeing me, but to assassinate me."

An ?! appeared on the trio's head.

"Hold up. Those guys want to assassinate you?" Nadia asked

"That's right. But I turned the tables on them and extracted a wealth of information—even if their knowledge lacked the finer details. Neve was there that night after he visited me."

"Right. After I finish talking to Rufus. I headed out to sleep. But I noticed something was amiss. So I begin to hide my presence. That's when I witnessed those Ebon Defense Force attacking the fortress." Neve continues. "I wasn't sure what they were planning, but if they came to free Rufus, that would make things worse for him. So I draw my Keyblade and storm into the fortress. I make my way to Rufus's ceil, by the time I've arrived, he already interrogated one of those EDF goons. From there, he explained to me what he interrogated. One of them is that those imbeciles abducted Prince Olivert that would execute a major operation in less than twenty-four hours."

"And from there, I've also learned that they have been hunting for a small suitcase that its the utmost importance. I knew something was missing that involved Crossbell's liberation. That's when I plan to resolve to escape to better assess the situation at hand. I asked Neve to help me resolve this issue because I lack manpower against such odds. And he agrees to help." Rufus continued. "After leaving the fort, Neve taken me to his home in another world and we begin discussing what to do. We return to Zemuria in the morning and and watch the news of Crossbell's independence. That's where we learn something we did not anticipated."

"You mean..." Swin paused.

Neve nodded. "Yes. The Imposter."

"I couldn't believe myself. But this imposter managed to replicate my appearance as Neve said and even use my very name to occupy Crossbell. And to make it more alarming is Xehanort." Rufus muttered.

"Who's Xehanort?" Lapis asked.

"I think I recalled him from a few sources. Xehanort is the leader of Organization XIII if I recall." Nadia replied

"That's right. Organization XIII is a nefarious group that seeks to achieve the ultimate power of existence called Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts is the heart of the entire universe that has ultimate wisdom. Anyone who can claim Kingdom Hearts can rewrite the universe."

"Whoa. So that big?" Nadia blinked.

"Indeed. Xehanort nearly accomplishes that goal. He was also a very important and personal ally to the late chancellor. His organization helped us greatly in increasing the Great Twilight. He was defeated by many heroes which we have encountered recently. Xehanort has done many things that were... diabolical. No different to what the late chancellor has to do. When the Great Twilight has occurred, Xehanort returns by the hand of a mysterious force and orders him to make amends to save Zemuria. In the end, he managed to help save Zemuria with the heroes and they forgave him for all the harm he caused." Rufus explain. "This is why I am flabbergasted to see him return and now not only aiding my imposter, but also back to being evil again as one of the supreme leaders."

"I'm very curious to know why Xehanort is returned from the grave. I doubt his friend Eraqus would allow him to do evil again." Neve said. "After Xehnaort made his appearance, the broadcast was temporally cut off before it return for the two self-proclaimed co-supreme leaders occupied Crossbell for this farce called 'United Nation'. With that said, Rufus and I discussed this information with intelligence gathering to suggest further trouble brewing in Heimdallr. This helps us ascertain our next objective. He issued a statement clamining to be the prince's abductor to lure Class VII to the Imperial capital. We suspected they would bring their friends to aid them. All the while, we took the time to secure new clothes, a mask to hide our voices a new sword along with his assets that he separated."

"Following that, we set our sights on Aurochs Canyon to take this enigmatic case the EDF were so desperately seeking. You know the rest, of course..." Rufus finished.

"Wow..." Swin sighed

"You both a busy boy, huh?" Nadia smiled

"Well, I'd been cooped up in a cell for half a year. I had plenty of pent-up energy eager to be spent." Rufus chuckled.

(Trails into Reverie ost - Lapis)

Rufus fold his arms. "To continue, it's clear that the actions of the EDF and my spurious self were planned to the letter. I imagine a multitude of events these past months have ben part of their grand scheme—not just the recent attack on the city. The post-war occupation, the occupiers electing to ignore my calls to surrender, and even the city's liberation a month ago."

Nadia rub his chin. "If this fake Rufus is pulling the strings here, you being around's only gonna be one big headache for him. You think it's possible you being locked up in the same place as the EDF was intentional?"

Rufus nodded. "I would assume so. Everything about it right down to my assassination attempt. And that in itself was just a small part of something much greater."

"Then what're you planning to do about it? You sound like you've got a pretty good idea of what you're up against... so what does the real Rufus want?"

Rufus closed his eyes until he open them. "I have two goals. The first is to eliminate the imposter who seeks to use my name for ill."

"Makes sense if it means them being around equals people trying to kill you." Swin nodded

"The second is to settle a past debt."

"Oh?" Lapis tilt her head.

"Crossbell's current status trace its origins to the war that ended not long ago. I, the primary member of the Ironbloods, was one of two who led the charge in that war—the other being the very man whom I reversed as a father, the late chancellor. Having made this miss, it falls to me to clean it up."

'The Ironbloods are an awful loyal bunch.' Nadia thought.

"I also feel a certain degree of responsibility toward Crossbell as its formal governor general."

"Let me see if I've got my head around this." Swin fold his arms. "In short, you want to rectify Crossbell's situation and fix whatever's going on in Erebonia. That sum it up, right?"

Rufus nodded. "That would be the end result, yes."

"You know that's a lot to expect five people to pull off."

"Thus why I never specified it being us to achieve that end result. There's no reason it has to be us who face our enemies. Confronting evil and overcoming it with heart and willpower is best suited for heroes—not villains like myself. Like Rean and his friends, whom we fought earlier, and their SSS counterparts in Crossbell. No need to intimate what they have perfected."

"Works for me. Doesn't feel like our style." Nadia agreed

"What we can do is learn the truth behind these myriad occurrences in our own way." Rufus turn to Lapis. "And we can start with the very valuable clue we happen to have in our possession."

They all turn to Lapis.

"Hmm? What is it?" Lapis asked as they put on a thinking face. "Why are you staring at me!?"

"You're just so cute that we can't help ourselves!" Nadia replied. with a smile.

"Really? I see. That make perfect sense. To be admired is the destiny of a masterpiece. Gaze upon me to your heart's content!"

Neve sweatdrop. "That's not the reason, you dunce. It's you being the key to unraveling all of this."

'Wow. He just literally said it.' Nadia sweatdrop.

(Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories ost - The Thirteen Discretion)

"But what is peculiar is that she couldn't remember anything but her name and her identity as a Rosenberg Doll. Speaking off. Joerg Rosenberg was her manufacturer correct? I also assume that he's also the one who requested that she be delivered to Rufus, right, Swin and Nadia?"

"Well... technically, yeah." Swin replied.

"Now then our work in Heimdallr is done, I was hoping to visit him in person... but your hesitant response tells me that may not be possible. Has something befallen him?" Rufus asked

"Nope. He's fine. It's just not much would be gained by going to see him." Nadia answered.

"He's the one who gave us the job, but he specified that he was just an intermediary." Swi n follow up.

"My guess is that whoever had him give us the job's also the one who got him to make her. Mainint 'cause he didn't seem to know much more than we do right now."

"I see..." Neve rub his chin while Rufus fold his arms. "Then our only option is to aid Lapis in recovering her memories. Where was she originally craft Lapis?"

"I'm afraid I don't know." Lapis answered solemn.

"I've got a place we can start, at least." Swin said. "Jeorg didn't directly deliver the case to us. He said to pick it up from the Moon Temple."

"He musr've hidden it there before hightailing it out of Crossbell." Nadia replied.

"It'd be a safe bet to say she was made there or close to there."

Rufus rub his chin. "Almost certainly the Rosenberg Studio on the Mains Mountain Path, then."

"Sounds about right." Nadia replied "We passed it on the way to the temple but didn't go inside."

"A wise decision. If the meister hid the case elsewhere, then the studio has been compromised in some manner, I'm sure."

"But we still know if her memory loss was unintended or deliberate." Neve pointed out. "Danger or not, it's possible that we'll find something to ease her current predicament."

"So we know where we're going, then?" Swin asked

"Of course was always going to lead to Crossbell. The timing is apt; we may as well go now." Rufus said.

"But how'er we gonna get in when the borders are so well protected?" Nadia asked.

"Fear not, for I have a plan... though it will require some preparation, I'll need your participation in order for it to work, but the details can wait. For now... rest well, children." Rufus replied. as they split up in the ship.

Lapis begin to walk around for a few minutes and then sighed.

"I was getting sleepy while they talked, but I feel wide awake now. Perhaps I'll tour the ship and see what everyone is up to." She said and then she walk around and then found Swin sitting on crates where Nadia and Teddiursa are sleeping on his lap and Charcadet was sleeping next to Swin.

"Sup, Lapis." Swin greeted.

"Are they asleep?" Lapis asked

"Sure are."

"That's a shame. I wanted to play with them.

"Sorry to disappoint—but let them rest, okay?" Swin said with a soft smile. "Nadia always want to sleep, so today's been a long rough one for her. Teddiursa is kinda life her in some extend. Charcadet on the other hand deserve it after working hard for my sake."

"Does Nadia and Teddiursa sleep a lot?"

"For Teddiursa... I'm not so sure but for Nadia is an understatement." Swin sighed. "She spends most of our off days out like a light. She's even fallen asleep in the middle of combat."

"Has she ever been to a doctor to fix it?" Lapis asked

"Oh, no. She's not sick. Just... very laid-back. It makes life a real pain sometimes, though, let me tell you."

Heehee. I'm sure it does."

"But she's my partner—and there's no one else I'd rather depend on when it counts. Besides, I swore to protect her in her brother's place. I intend to honor that for the rest of my life."

"And are you and her brother different or the same?" Lapis asked. "I'm finding it hard to wrap my mind around the idea of siblings..."

"Hmm..." Swin hummed. "Let me put it like this. How would you feel if Jeorg Rosenberg were to make another doll exactly like you?"

"If they were exactly like me, they would be perfect!" Lapis smiled proudly. "The world being blessed with more perfect things to admire is a good thing."

"Well, what if the other doll wasn't as cute, pretty strong or emotive as you are? What if others called them a failure?"

"Hmm... There isn't any such thing as a Rosenberg that's also a failure... but if by some chance that were to happen, I'd be very annoyed to hear others speaking of them that way!

"There you go, then. That's how siblings are."

Lapus place her hand to support right cheek. "Do you think Rufus would be annoyed if he heard something like that about his brother? That's who that boy we saw before, is, right?"

"Beats me." Swin shrugged. "I don't know the first thing about what goes on in that guy's head. You wanna ask Neve about it. Anyway, you should try and get some rest while we have the chance—assuming dolls need rest, anyway."

Lapis nodded. "Okay, thank you, Swin." She then go up the stairs. "I winter what it's like to have a sibling. Do I have any out there?" She went to the pilot and see Jingo.

"Well! If it isn't my littlest customer. You want something?

"I just felt the urge to tour the ship, And you're hardly big!"

"Haha! I'm still bigger than you! And come to think of it, I haven't introduced myself to you yet, now, have I? The name's Jinjo!" Jingo introduce herself. "If there's anything you want your hands on, you just gimme a holler."

"I'm Lapis." Lapis introduce herself

"Nice to meet you, Lapis. By the way, you're not human, right?"

"Indeed, I am not! I'm a proud Rosenberg Doll!"

"Really? Heh. The world's full of surprises."

"You don't look surprised to me." Lapis remark.

"When you're in my line of work, you meet all kinds of folks. You're the not the first unusual customer I've had." Jingo replied

"I'm not?" Lapis asked. "Your job sounds very interesting."

"You know what else would be interesting? Mods. Could I interest you in a Gatling gun for an arm or eyes that'll let you shoot lasers out of them?" I'll give you a pretty discount!"

"Y-You can do all of that?!" Lapis asked, sounding surprised and intrigued.

"It'd be worth a shot!"

"Hmm..." Lapis hummed. "I agree that it would be interesting, but none of it sounds as beautiful as my current design, so I'll kindly pass."

"No big." Jingo said. "If you change you mind, you know where I am."

"I certainly do!"

"Anyway, it's about time for Cerberus' lessons." Jingo turn to her dog. "Cerberus!"

"Woof!" Cerberus approached.

"What's his lesson about?" Lapis asked

"Being the strongest guard dog around!" Jingo smirked

"Well, now I've got to know! What does that takes?"

"So far I've had him help with the cleaning and run my shop, but today he's gettin' pointers on flying this baby! He's gonna be able to navigate anything life throwes at him and that including a steering wheel!"

"Woof! Woof!" Cerberus barked happily.

"Okay, then. First, I need you to pop yourself on top of my seat... Wait." Jingo rub her chin. "Is this gonna work?" She shrugged. "I guess as long as your front paws can reach the wheel, it's all good." She got up from her hair.

"You can do this, Cerberus! Good boy!" Lapis cheered in encouragement.

"Woof! Woof!" Cerberus barked as he hop on the chair.

"Hang on a minute!" A voice yelled as he Swin ran up. "I-I wasn't going to butt in at first, but I can't keep my mouth shut after what I just heard."

"Oh, yeah? What's that?" Jingo asked

"Uh... Maybe the whole idea of trying to teach a dog to fly this airship?"

"still not hearing what the problem, is. Hoe's he supposed to learn if he doesn't take the wheel?"

Swin sweatdrop. "All of that is a problem. You're trying to make a dog transcend the limits of the canine species."

"C'mon! Noe you're just exaggerating. But you're welcome to tune in on his lesson if you want. Besides, I've seen Pokemon who can cook, who can nurse people, and I even see a couple of Pokemon who can just drive an airship or car."

"Okay, I can't find an argument in that but—"

"Ngh..." Nadia groaned as she sleep talks. "I just had a dream where the whole airship fell out of the sky... Where are you, S? Comfort meee..."

Swin sweatdrop. "Anyway, he's not a Pokemon but a regular dog. We're playing for this flight, so If you want to attempt the impossible, do it on your own time. We'd like to live for a landing, if you please."

"Woof?" Cerberus tilt his head.

"Aww... Fine. You're one tough customer. Didn't expect you to be so racist."

"Wha—I wasn't trying to be racist!" Swin argued.

"What a racist?" Lapis asked.

"A racist is a—"

"Don't teach her that!" Swin grumbled as he palm face and sighed. "Look. I get there's a huge difference between animals and Pokemon... If you want to teach your dog the impossible, then fine. Be our guest. But do it in your own time." He take off.

"Fine. We'll take five Cerberus." Jingo said.

"Woof!" Cerberus hop off the chair and Jingo said as Lapis walk away and see Neve lay his back on the wall.

"Hey there, Neve." Lapis greeted.

"Oh, hello, Lapis. Need anything?" Neve asked.

"I was wondering what you were up too, but you're doing nothing apparently." Lapis said.

"Well, my apologies for not meeting your expectations." Neve rolled his eyes.

"Do you have to sound so rudely?"

"It's a habit of mine. Pay it no mind. I'm just thinking about a few things involving the events that happen. Like the one in Crossbell, and this Imposter to Rufus. I'm very curious as to what is he up to, and why to causing some chaos in Heimdallr. Not to mention occupying Crossbell for a nefarious means. As Rufus pointed out. It's just part of a major plan for something. I'm wondering what he's planning next."

"Hmm... It does sound like this fake Rufus is doing something bad." Lapis said

"Not to mention your role as the 'key' to this as well." Neve added. "Like for example, those goons from the EDF are searching for you. Which means that you pose a threat to the co-supreme leaders plan. Whatever that is, we need to stop it before more damage is done. Do you understand?"

"I guess so, yes. Plus, we're also going to search for my memories too when we reach, Crossbell?"

"Very, very bad." Rufus admit. "I have used anything and everything to advance my interest—be it titles, fame, or even those of pure of heart. There is little point in feigning a moral compass when human lives hold no value to me, or acting chivalrous when all that does is hinder me."

"Do you still feel that way?"

"I do. I'm using you, Swin, Nadia and Neve to bring my designs to fruition, am I not? I'm also using those we met in the capital, like my brother."

"None of that sounds like something someone good would do, yes. You really are a very bad man." Lapis replied

"I'm glad we could come to an understanding." Rufus said. "So, armed with that knowledge, what do you intend to do?"

Rufus turn to Lapis with a curious look. "Just how does humanity look through your lens for you to think in such simple terms?"

Lapis has a moment of thought to herself. 'I don't know. I can't answer that when I'm still learning about what it means to be human. All I can say is, I don't see if you're good or bad, where you're from, or how you were raised. I don't see what you've done or haven't done, what you possess or what you lack... because none of those are what make you exist as a person. So I can't be that you suddenly don't exist just because someone decides to reject those parts of you."

"I suppose you're right."

"Nngh...!" Adam looked up with a glare. "How is killing humans no different than you wanted to kill those detestable police forces and Class VII?!"

"Because they are a threat that must be purged. They on the other hand hold an example. Elysium said that in order to achieve true peace, those heroes must perish. I'm sure you can understand that." Rufus said. "At any rate Adam. Disobeying me is a sign of treason. But since you still have your purpose, I would advise you to obey next time."

"Ngh! Like I will obey you, constructs! In case you've forgotten, I was very close to killing Lloyd Banning and his allies!"

"I honestly can't believe you thought of this..." Neve muttered.

"Our interest will be best served if you say nothing at all." Rufus said

"Okay, then! I'm gonna make a landing!" Jingo said.

On Crossbell Airport, there were two EDF patrolling the area until they spotted Jingo's ship. They hurried their way there and then more EDF Soldiers approaching.

"Halt! Are you authorized to be here?"

Opening the door was Rufus disguised as the Supreme Leader, accompany by Swin, Lapis, Nadia and Neve with Teddiursa and Charcadet as they approached. Neve's change his hair color to orange along with his eyes. He wears a secretary outfit.

"Y-Your Excellency!" An EDF Soldier gasped.

"What is the meaning of this? You stand in the presence of one of our supreme leader!" Swin yelled.

"We informed you in advance of our arrival. Why were you not ready and waiting?" Nadia asked, giving a cunning smirk.

The Soldiers apologized with a salute.

"O-Our apologies..."

"There's no need to be quite so harsh. These are good men. This airport has only been under their jurisdiction for a few days. It takes time to adjust to new responsibilities." Rufus spoked

"You are merciful, Your Excellency." Neve said.

"W-We will ready a car for you at once!" An EDF Soldier bow.

"No need. I've arranged for one personally, so remain here and continue your duties." Rufus replied.

"Yes, Your Excellency!" One soldier said as they move out of the way and took off while Jingo begin to take off with her airship.

Once they made it into clearing, they can freely talk.

Nadia giggled. "It's hilarious. Good on you for thinking it up, Boss."

"I'll admit, it was somewhat clever and risky. But it paids off. Still, it won't be long before they realize the truth from their superiors and come after us." Neve said.

"Right. We shouldn't remain in this city any longer than is needed." Rufus agreed.

"Can't hurt to scope out the place first, though, right?" Nadia asked.

They headed into the central plaza.

"So... where should we start our search? The Administrative District?" Lapis asked

"Hmm..." Nadia tap her cheek. "Could be flying a little too close to the sun, but then agaaaain..." She snapped her finger as she wink. "Sometimes that's what you gotta do to nab something juicy."

"Very astude. Indeed, the greater the risk, the greater the reward." Rufus agreed

"I don't see why we shouldn't go there at some point, personally." Swin said.

"Agreed. Let us find out on how that isn't crawling with too much soldiers, though. Remember not to talk to them." Neve advised as they take off.

They move around toward the East District and then made their way to the harbor and then made their way to the Administrative Distract. From there, they see the Fake Rufus accompany by Dieter, Cao, his Mienshao, Miraidon, and Garcia leaving the social building.

'So that's the 'supreme leader', huh?' Nadia asked in whisper.

'From a distance, he really does look exactly like our Rufus, other than his haircut. You'd struggle to tell them apart.'

'Agreed. However, it would be wise to be careful. Especially that purple hair man.' Neve advised as they notice that both Mienshao and Cao stop and turn their heads slightly to them. 'Tch. Of course that man's sharpness...'

'Shit. Is our cover blown?!' Swin grit his teeth.

The Audience begin clapping.

"Mmm... Something about these people is making me uncomfortable." Lapis muttered. "Say, Nadia?

Nadia and Swin were cloak in the dark aura and look dazed. Rufus and Neve felt a headache. Causing the both of them to recall memories of their weakness.

"Hmm? Umm... Rufus? Neve? Why are you two just standing there?" Lapis asked in confusion. "I'm bored of this. Let's go elsewhere, please." Then she notices they aren't responding. "Rufus! Hey, Rufus! Are you listening?" She turn to Nadia, Swin, Teddiursa and Charcadet who are also looking in dazed. "Mmgh! Swin, Nadia! Teddiursa and Charcadet! Why aren't you talking to me? Are you bullying me?" Then suddenly the stealth mechanism begins to lose its effect, revealing themselves. "Huh?!" She looks at her hands. "Wait! Rufus! Nadia! Ne—" Suddenly a hand covered Lapis's mouth. "Mmgh!?"

"Please, calm down." A calm warm voice said as Lapis looked up and saw Aigis. "If you keep yelling, you will draw the attention of the EDF soldiers. Just wait for a moment."

Suddenly something was thrown to the TV car, causing an explosion.

"Aaaugh!" One of the citizens screamed as the dark aura faded, and the EDF had an !? over their heads.

"Huh?" One of them lost the dark aura. "What... just happened?"

"ngh..." Neve groaned and then shook his head and saw the RAMDA stealth is cancelled. "Shit! What happened?!"

"Who's there?!" An EDF got out their weapons.

"WAHAHAAHAHA!" A crackle was heard as they turned to the rooftop.

(Trails into Reverie ost - The Road to All-Out War)

They see Wario and Waluigi begin to throw bob-ombs to the EDF Forces. SOme of the EDF Forces dodge as the explosion causing the citizens nearby to snapped out of it, and even causing some panic as they take off running.

A few EDF begin shooting at them as the Wario Bros take cover and throw bob-ombs at them.

"This is patrol unit 5 of the city! We got rebels in the city!" One EDF yelled to the communicator.

Inside Arc en Ciel...

As Ilya was dancing, she heard bomb explosion. "Hm?" Then she sense an attack, causing an ! over her head as she turn and see something black and fast aiming at her as she stopped dancing and jump away, causing the dark power to dispel.

Shadow the Hedgehog was revealed.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't that black hedgehog two days ago." Ilya mused. "How did you managed to get into the city?"

"None of your business, fallen dancer. You're not allowed to corrupt the people of Crossbell with that dance. So I will take care of you myself." Shadow took his stand.

"Hehehe." Ilya took her stand. "Then let us dance, Hedgehog."

Shadow Dash toward to kick her, but Ilya dodge gracefully and throw dark powers at him. Shadow dodge and then slade around and then throw Chaos Spear at her. Ilya shield herself with a dark power and then backflip, throwing dark projections and throwing dark spikes at him. Shadow doge and then Homing Shot her.

"Augh!" She winched and then Shadow dive kick her stomach, knocking her off the stage.

Outside of Arc en Ciel...

"What the—?" Swin paused. "Who are those guys."

"Everyone, please. This is not the time to stand when you're completely compromised." Aigis warned as Rufus, Neve, Nadia, Swin, Teddiursa and Charcadet look at themselves and had an ! over their heads.

"She's right." Another voice spoke, revealing to be Renne. "This way! Hurry!" She told them and they take off running while the Wario Bros continued to throw Bob-Ombs and firing Crackled Lunchers.

Rufus, Neve, Lapis, Nadia, Swin, Teddiursa and Charcadet look around and see many dolls in cases.

"Whoa! Check out all the dolls! It's LP as far as the eyes can see!"

"Hmph! I'll thank you for remembering that I'm an ROSENBERG doll! I'm in a different league compared to those garden-variety specimens." Lapis said proudly.

"And yet some of those were, in fact, made by the studio of which you speak." Renne told her.

"Really?" Lapis asked as she looked at one of the dolls. "Oh! You're right! This perfectly sculpted masterpiece is unmistakably a Rosenberg!"

"You have my thanks." Rufus turns and see Renne and Aigis. "Now, would you prefer Angel of Slaughter or Renne Bright?"

"Call me whatever you like, Jade Rook." Renne said as she did her curtsy. "I suspected something wasn't right about our new 'co-supreme leaders', and seeing you explains why."

"I've heard you were an astute one, and you did not disappoint. And of course..." He turn to Aigis who isn't just alone with just Renne. "So Neve and Rufus washing kidding about other artificial intelligence walking around." Swin said in surprised.

"All right, I guess we should introduce ourselves then." Fuuka said as she approached. "Hello. My name is Fuuka Yamagishi. I'm a reserve member of the Shadow Operatives."

"Shadow Operatives?" Swin asked.

"The Shadow Operatives is an organization in our world where we take on phenomena related to supernatural creatures known as Shadows." Mitsuru explain. "Yamagishi is our navigator. She's talented in both technology and navigation in our work." She place her hand over her chest. "And my name is Mitsuru Kirijo. I am the leader of the Shadow Operatives."

"She's also known as the Queen of Execution." Renne wink. "Anyone who cross paths with her will received quite the execution."

"That... sounds ominous." Swin sweatdrop.

"But that also explains the badass presence she got." Nadia added

"Haha. I heard that her skills with the rapier is quite unparalleled. She's also a Persona user."

"A persona?"

"I'll explain." Mitsuru said. "A Persona is a physical manifestation of a person's psyche and subconscious used for combat."

"And my name is Labyrs!" Labyrs fist pump. "Like my sister, I'm not exactly human either. I'm an Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon build to battle creatures called Shadows. And a proud member of the Shadow Operatives."

"Guess I'll go next." Raven said as she step up. "Raven Branwen. I'm from Remnant who is once the leader of the Branwen Tribe. But as of right now, I'm just a wanderer."

"And...I guess I'll go next." Emerald scratch the back of her hair. "I'm Emerald Sustrai. I'm no one special. But like Raven, I'm also from Remnant who can use Semblances."

"A Semblance?" Swin asked

"A Semblance is a person's unique abilities. Only people who held from Remnant is capable of using it." Rufus explain. "With it comes aura, which is a form of armor but also a manifestation of their souls."

"Okay so we got Persona Users and now people who can use Semblance." Nadia said. "Quite the group we got."

"Oh yeah, now for me!" Nemona step up with a cheerful smile. "Nice to meet you guys! I'm Nemona! I'm a student of a school called Uva Academy! It's located in the Paldea Region! A Pokemon Region. Now that we met, let's battle!"

It won't be long until I graduated... as soon as I got my score in... But I'm great at cooking and can heal Pokemon if needed."

Emblem Celica appeared. "That's correct. I'm shocked to see you, formal governer general."

"You're Princess Anthiese of Valencia if I recall." Rufus asked. "But I'm unfamiliar with the other one. But you mention, Emblem? I recall seeing another Levi Sullivan who is just like you. Is he and the ones in the capital also Emblems?"

"That's correct, Jade Rook." Emblem Loewe nodded. "Emblems are spirits of heroes from another world. We hail from Elyos. I'm sure you heard by the news about us."

"Agreed. Truth be told, if I wasn't in the cell, I would gladly like to slay him with my blade." Rufus muttered

"It's very understandable. It's a good thing that me, Florian, and the others are the one who help slay that dragon." Renne replied

"Then our objective remains unchanged. We should make for the Rosenberg Studio." Rufus stated

"Why would you want to go there, Renne?" Carmine asked.

"I haven't been there for some time, but it seems to have been occupied by someone exceptionally unpleasant. I was thinking of giving the place a little spring cleaning, but it's a bit too much for me to handle alone."

"Well if Renne's going, then I'm coming too." Florian said. "With things are in Crossbell, I don't think staying here is the best option."

"The two men who were causing a commotion are called Wario and Waluigi." Mitsuri said. "Just like them, they're also trapped within this city."

"As for that mysterious dark aura you were close to being its victim. It's a form of mind control employed by the co-supreme leaders." Renne said

"Seriously?" Swin asked in shock

"So he's brainwashing people?" Nadia asked

"Indeed. Although the principles are similar, it is somehow different than that of the Great Twilight curse." Aigis spoked. "It can be used across a wide area and the effects are cumulative. What's more, its effect can only affect organic materials. In other words: living beings. Anything artificial is immune to it. Like your friend Lapis. Along with myself and my sister. It is very fortunate that me and Renne-san came and noticed your presence. Her outburst was enough to draw attention. Had not Wario and Waluigi interfered, along with me and Renne-san there is a possible chance you will be arrested on the spot."

"That's right. There was something suspicious with him. Including Xehanort. Not to mention his methods for brainwashing people doesn't exactly sound like the real Rufus Albarea would do, am I right, formal governor general?"

"They built a time machine for that purpose. But we shut the time machine for good." Florian continued. "It shouldn't be possible for the Time machine in Paldea to activate. Especially since Dialga and Palkia return them back to their original time."

"Yeah. But somehow the Ebon Defense Force and the co-supreme leaders were able to obtain both future and ancient Pokemon." Penny tuck her glasses. "Which means they must have build a time machine and copy professor Turo and Sada's Time Machine..."

"Tch... out of all the things my stupid dad and aunt... their work is being used again..." Arven grumbled.

"But to make it more interesting is that the fake Rufus has another Miraidon, right?" Kieran asked

"Indeed. I find it quite distasteful." Renne agreed.

"You have that blue lizard Pokemon?" Nadia asked

"That's right. His name is Miradon. I would gladly introduce him to you. But here is not a good place." Renne said.

"Yeah, aren't you worried he may be a spy from the co-supreme leaders?" Labys asked

"I agree. He has suspicious all over him." Emerald agreed.

"I can understand that. But I can trust him. But I will also be watching him like a hawk." Rufus replied. "And if he was an ally to my imposter, he most certainly reported to him by now."

"I... suppose that's true."

"Thank you for allowing me to earn your trust." Hazama bow. "So, where are we heading?"

"It's me." A voice spoked as the door open and came in was Shadow, Rouge, Kammy, Omega, Wario and Waluigi.

"Oh, it seems we got some new people." Rogue causally shruged before noticing Hazama and Rufus. "Wait... those two!"

"Why is he here?" Shadow glared

"I'll explain." Renne spoked

Rouge hummed. "Okay, I think I got the just of it. So I was right that something was off with that 'co-supreme leaders'. Turns out it was a fake. And him using brainwashing methods doesn't sound like the real one would do."

"I suppose so. That answers some of the questions." Shadow nodded.

"So, you guys are heading to this Rosenberg Studio because of her?" Kammy turn to Lapis.

"Correct. I'm guessing you wish to join us?" Rufus asked

"As of right now, we want to prevent that coward and that woman brain washing more people and take them down. But with the forces he has, it will be a difficult task. But we also want to find out what's really going on. So all right, we'll join you to bring those bastards down." Shadow answered

"Affirmative. We must destroy the co-supreme leaders including other enemies who are their allies." Omega said.

"Right. Wario, Waluigi, you're coming with us too."

"What?! Oh fine. Just so we can get this over with." Wario muttered.

"All right! We got ourselves a big group!" Nadia cheered.

"But how are we going to leave the city since it's on high alert?" Swin asked

"Oh, you don't have to worry about that." Neve said. "I can use my magic to make us in stealth mode if needed."

"Then it's time to mossey, LP!" Nadia cheered

"Just a minute!" Lapis replied who's still looking at the dolls.

"If you don't hurry up, we're gonna sell you to this shop. Then you'll be stuck in a display case unable to move, just like those dolls. There'll be no more walking, talking, or yummy desserts for you eeever again."

Lapis have an! over her head "I-I'm coming! You big meanie!" She approached. "Whoa, who are these people?"

"They're our new friends who will be joining us." Nadia winked.

"Well, well!" Imelda enter her store. "Are these customers I spy? Hyeh hyeh hyeh! What a peculiar bunch you are."

Swin notice Rufus has his C mask on. "Wait, when did you put that on? I thought it was broken!"

"I always carry a spare." Rufus answered, causing Swin to sweatdrop.

"You arrived at just the right time." Renne smiled "I'm about to get going. Thank you for taking care of us these past few days."

"Oh nothing of it, dearie!" Imelda chuckled. "Are you headed off with thes people, and animals?

"That's right. My friends included."

"I can tell you're in for quite a hoot!"

"Heehee. Oh, no doubt." Renne agreed.

As Imelda begin to pass by Nadia, she spotted Lapis.

Imelda gasped heavily "STARS ABOVE! I see that old man made himself a new model!"

"Um..." Lapis feel nervous.

"Just look at expressive she is!" She said, causing Lapis to hide behind Rufus and Neve.

"This woman scares me."

"I'm impressed you were able to tell she's a Rosenberg so quickly." Renne giggled

"She must be quite the old woman..." Arven scratch his cheek.

"Hyeh hyen hyen! I couldn't convince you to part with her, could I? I'll make it more than worth your while. You won't regret it!" Imelda smiled

"If I recall, Mainz Street is located in the West street, right?" Neve asked

"That sound about right. But we should split up and go separately. it would be suspicious if we go into groups." Rogue said.

"Agreed. Do be careful." Shadow said as everyone nodded their heads.

'Hm?' Neve turn his head around, looking around with a Rufus, Renne, Florian, Shadow, Rogue, Raven, Emerald, Nadia and Swin. 'That better not be what I think it is...'

Then they take off. But as they fear, Dimentio was watching from the shadows.

"My, my, what a large group..." Dimentio rub his chin. "Where are they headed I wonder..."

"What a precular choice. Its simple design bellies just how difficult it is to wild." Rufus said

"I can use most weapons, sure, but this one has always had my heart." Renne replied.

"No indeed. I'm just joking."

The more I get to know you, the more I think we're going to be the best of friends." Nadia smirked

"And here are ours." Mitsuru brought out her Rapier, Labyrs her Axe, Aigis her heavy arms, Arven and Nemona's gauntlets, Raven's Omen, Emerald's Thief's Respite and Kammy's wand.

"That's an interesting looking rapier." Rufus mused. "Not to mentions the axe, swords, and gauntlets."

"I can help out with my magic." Kammy said.

"Well I got these bad boys." Cammine pulled out a three-Sector Staff.

"A Three -sector staff?" Mitsutu asked.

"Yep. I got the gist of fighting in battle because of some training I have to do with Kieran. Considering the monsters and Grimm..."

"And these are my weapons." Kieran pull out Sai.

"Yep. These are my weapons. Like sis, I've been training hard to learn how to fight with them."

"Oh yeah. Let's bring out our Pokemon." Florian said.

"Oh, good idea." Arven nodded as he, Nemona, Penny, Carmine and Kieran pull out their Pokeballs and came out were Miraidon, Koraidon, Mabosstiff, Sylveon, Sinistcha, Pawmot and Grimmsnarl.

"Whoa!" Lapis gasped.

"Wow. They look strong." Swin remark.

"Yeah. And that Pokemon look just like the one the fake boss has." Nadia looking at Miraidon.

"That's right. This is Miraidon. Say hello to them." Renne smiled

"Agia!" Miraidon greeted with Koraidon.

"Miraidon is also my mount. If you feel like you needed a ride, you're free to hop on Miraidon."

"Ooh now I know we're gonna be BFFs!" Nadia cheered

"Good grief Nadia." Swin sighed

"So your Pokemon are a Teddiursa and a Charcadet?" Florian asked.

"Yeah. Charcadet is my Pokemon. Nadia is Teddiursa."

"I see..." Florian looking at Swin and then Charcadet. "Hmm..."

"Is something on your mind?" Swin asked

"Oh, sorry. I was just thinking about if you that what your Charcadet would like to evolve to."

"Oh, yeah. What does Charcadet evolve into?"

"There are two versions of where he can evolve but it requires these armors." Florian pull out his Rotom ARCUS Alpha, tap a few buttons and brought out Auspicious Armor and Malicious Armor. "This Auspicious Armor can evolve it into Armarogue which is a Fire and Psychic Type. While Malicious Armor is Cerledge. A Fire and Ghost type. Armarogue is more into Special Attacks while Cerledge is physical." He place the two armos on the ground and then tap a few buttons and reveal the picture. These are what they look like."

Swin look at the photo. "Wow. So those are their evolve form. They both look cool. One is a blade arm wielder while the other has armor..." He rub his chin. "What would you recommend, Florian?"

"Personally, I would say Cerledge. Would you like to give your Charcadet the Malicious Armor?"

"Yeah. Something about it fits well with me." Swin nodded. "Wait, you're gonna give it to me?"

"Of course. Think of it as a token of our new established friendship. I insist." Florian smiled as he pick up the Malicious Armor and hand it over.

"But surely I can't."

"No worry about it. I got tons of these armor anyway."

"Well... all right. I'll owe you one." Swin smiled as he takes the offer and turn to his Charcadet. "You ready to evolve, Charcadet?"

"Char!" Charcadet respond happily as Swin gave him the armor and he wore it, causing him to glow white and then evolve into Cerledge. "Cerrr!"

"Whoooooa! He look super cool, S!" Nadia cheered as Swin scan his Pokemon.

"Cerledge, the Fire Blade Pokemon and one of the evolve form of Charcadet. A Fire and Ghost Type. Ceruledge is merciless and will do anything to win a battle. It prefers to do close-quarters combat, with a mix of sneak and surprise attacks. By using its quick speed to locate a foe's blind spots, it will then move closer before slashing them with its large swords. Any cuts from Ceruledge's swords will cause wounds that leak life energy, which the swords then absorb."

"Wow. Aside from the merciless part, but look formidable." Swin mused.

"Yeah! I can tell we'll have a lot more fun with Cerledge!" Nadia giggled.

"What about you, Rufus? Do you have a Pokemon?" Florian asked.

"No, I don't have a Pokemon companion." Rufus said.

"I see. Well, if you ever thought about it. Here." Florian handed over 6 Pokeballs.

"Pokeballs?"

"I got plenty of Pokeballs. Still, I hope you're not planning to use your Pokemon for evil, right?"

"No, of course not. Still, I'm not sure if I should have any." Rufus replied

"Understandable. But it's up to you. Anyway, let's—" Florian then paused when they heard a horse hooves as they see a wild Ponytail galloping. "It's a wild Ponyta, and it's coming this way!"

"I got this!" Swin dash toward and then got in front with his arms spread out. "Whoa, whoa!"

The Wild Ponyta stopped and the prance and then just looking at Swin.

"Phew. Glad that work out. What's a Ponyta doing all the way out here? Did you get lost?"

Florian catch up. "Hey, there. Where did you come from?" He asked as the Ponyta neigh. "I see. Turns out that he was running away from a few monsters and was looking for a place to hide."

"Wait, you can tell?" Swin asked.

"Yep. It's a long story but, it seem this little guy was just running to safety. I don't think it's a good idea for him to stay out here where monsters keep nothing him."

"True. Should we leave him with someone else?"

"Why not catch him? Who knows, you might need another Pokemon in hand. Plus, you can even ride a Ponyta."

"I don't know."

"Aww, come on, S." Nadia walk up and join. "It might be a good idea to take a few Pokemon on the journey. Remember, we also needed a riiide."

"You just don't want to do work." Swin sighed. "But I suppose you're right." He pull out a Pokeball. "Would you like to come with us?" He asked as Ponyta neigh. "I'll take that as a yes." He tap its head, calling into the Pokaball where it clicks and clings. "And Ponyta is captured."

"All right, we're wasting time. Let's get going." Shadow said as they all take off.

They walk the mountain path. As they walk the mountain path, there was a wild Ralt minding its own business until it spotted the group.

"Raa?" He wilt his head and then see Rufus. "Raalt..." He then follow him.

Rufus then sense he was being follow as he turn around and see the wild Ralt.

"Hmm?" Rufus look down to the approaching Ralts. "What are you doing here, little one?"

"Raalt." He staring at Rufus.

"Oh. Looks like the little one is curious about you." Florian approached.

"Why me, though?"

"Well, Ralts can read a person's thoughts. Maybe something about you caught his attention."

"Raalt..." Ralts looking at Rufus.

"What is it, little one?" Rufus knee down. "Were you hoping that I give you something to eat?"

"No. He was curious about you. He sense that you were feeling happy."

"I was?" Rufus asked

"You didn't realize it?" Florian asked

"No. I don't recall being happy."

"Maybe you couldn't feel it, but he sure can." Florian smiled. "Why not take him as your Pokemon partner?"

"I... don't think I'm worthy to have one." Rufus said.

"Raaalt." Ralt spoked.

"He's saying, "Are you lonely? I can be your friend."

"I'm lonely you say? Wait a moment, you can understand him?" Rufus asked

"It's a long story but yes. Anyway, like with happiness, maybe you couldn't feel it but he can. There's no harm in having a Pokemon partner. Just remember to treat them well. And don't use him for evil purposes."

"Hmm..." Rufus closed his eyes and then sighed. "Well, I suppose an extra help will be beneficial. All right." He pulls out one of the Pokeballs Florian gave him and offers him the Pokeball.

Ralts happily cheered and tap it, went inside, shook three times, and clicked.

"All right, he's your first Pokemon!" Florian smiled as Rufus picked up his Pokeball and then came out Ralts.

"Heh. You're a peculiar Pokemon, aren't you? I still think I'm not worthy but, it would be dangerous to leave you alone either, so welcome aboard."

"Raalt!" Ralts cheered.

Rufus pick Ralts up and place him on his shoulder. "There you go. I'll be counting on you."

"Raa." Ralt said as they continued onward and regrouped with the others.

"I was wondering what's keeping you busy. So you got yourself a Pokemon?" Swin asked

"The little one seem interested in me and wanted to come along. As much as I rather not, but we can use extra member onto the squad."

"Aww, he's so cute~ Can I pet him?" Lapis asked

"If he's all right with it." Rufus replied as they continue on the mountain path.

Rufus stopped when he heard a mysterious sound.

'Hmm? What was that?' Rufus thought.

"Something wrong, Rufus?" Lapis asked

"No, it's nothing."

"Hm?" Neve hummed. "Wait, I just sense something just now."

"You did?" Rufus asked

"How much longer? I'm so tired!" Nadia frown.

"But we just started walking." Fuuka sweatdrop.

"Rosenberg Studio isn't too far from here." Renne informed them.

"That's good to know." Neve nodded then notice Rufus's look. "Rufus, are you certain everything is all right?"

"I simply don't think it's worth mentioning." Rufus replied until he felt something in his pocket. 'No wait...' He pull out the black mirror.

"Well, look at that." Rouge mused. "That an interesting looking mirror you have. Didn't think you were the type to collect trinkets."

"I'm not. I couldn't tell you where it came from. It just suddenly appeared in my pocket."

"It what?" Swin asked

"Hmm... That explain what I felt earlier," Neve hummed. "It seem someone or something teleported into your pocket, but who or what?"

The Mirror begin to glow, causing everyone to cloak in a blue light.

"What the!?" Neve gasped

"What is this light...!" Rufus gasped

(Trails into Reverie ost - Crossing Casual Lines)

"A threat of destiny has been spun. Your path to where all may gather has been paved." A voice spoked as a white flash covered the screen.

And Rufus Act 3 is here and got plenty of allies! Nice! It's nice that Neve is having a talk with Rufus. But look like Dimentio found them. Not a good sign. What is he up too? Oh and Swin got himself a Cerledge which suits him and Rufus his first Pokemon! He needed some comfort with a Pokemon too.
