I do not own any of the characters except for Arabella.

~Arabella's POV~

I watched Jack broke 3 boards in a row, impressed. Eddie, Milton, and Jerry were watching as well. "Wow Jack, how do you do that?" Milton asked.

"It comes from inside me." Jack told us. "It's my Kiai."

"The boy's in my family get their Kiai's removed, it's tradition." Jerry shared.

"A Kiai is the sound you make when you release the power of your inner self." Jack defined, "Come on, guys! Free your inner beast."

I watched in amusement.

"Kiai!" Eddie yelled, moving into position.

"Kiai!" Jerry repeated. "Whoo!"

"Koo..." Milton let out a weak sound.

"Your Kiai needs a little work." I patted Milton's shoulder.

"Your inner beast sounds like a sick dove." Jack teased as we all snickered.

"Gah!" Milton groaned, walking to the locker room.

"Oh. Are you and Rudy ready for the big Sensei-Student tournament this week?" Eddies asked.

"Totally, and since I'll be competing with Rudy, I've been training my butt off."

"I watched them practice, they're good." I said praising.

"Dude, our timing during the routine has to be perfect. You know how competitive he is."

"Jack." Rudy called as he entered the dojo, "I hope you're prepared for our trip to San Francisco, because I know I am. You too, Bella."

"I mean there is a reason why?" I asked.

"You're Jack's good luck charm." Rudy said, "He need all the luck he can get."

"Hey!" Jack intervened in offense.

"Great! Let's see," Rudy rummaged through his packed box, "I found my rubber vomit, and my deluxe whoopee cushion."

"What makes it deluxe?" Eddie asked. Rudy squished the cushioning causing a noise and smell to emit. I gagged, covering my nose with my hand.

"The smell." Rudy replied.

"Rudy you're not taking this competition seriously." Jack pointed out, "Don't you wanna win?"

"Come on, let's just go and have fun, make some memories. Road trip!" Rudy sang.

"Alright see you later guys." Milton sighed as he reentered the dojo. "I got a little pre-anniversary gift for Julie. I made a chocolate rose by hand. What happened to my rose?" Jerry stood up, licking his fingers.

"Oh dude, it looks like someone ate the head off it." Jerry spoke through a mouthful of chocolate.

"My rose! My sweet rose!" Milton exclaimed, and breathing heavily, "Kiai!" He yelled as he flipped Jerry, "You just met my inner beast."

"Oh, dude. Eddie ate some of your rose too." Jerry groaned. That caused Milton to look at Eddie, who looked frightened and he ran away screaming with Milton after him.

Don't you get all tough with me, I'm saying won't you come kick it with me? and we can have a ball, run up the wall, this is how we do, and no matter how much, I chop and punch, it's not as cool as kickin' it with you.

Here we go, let's start the party, chop it up like it's karate.

everybody, don't you get all tough with me, I'm saying won't you come kick it with me? and we can have a ball, run up the wall, this is how we do, and no matter how much I chop and punch, it's not as cool as kickin' it with you.

"Woo hoo. Look at this! Yeah." Rudy beamed as we entered our hotel room. Pretty sweet, huh Jack and Bella?" He said to us as the employee was struggling to bring our stuff into the room. "I think you left a bag out in the hall." Once the employee left the room, Rudy race towards the door to slammed it shut and blocked it with a chair.

"Well, that's one way for not tipping. " I sighed and setting down my stuff, "Nice room. We can share the bed, Jack." I looked at him.

"Sure." Jack smiled and I saw a sparkling in his eyes. He is planning something.

"Okay, we'll unpack, have a great night's sleep then hit the ground running in the morning. I just need one drawer, you guys can have..." Jack trailed off.

"Don't need it." Rudy cut off Jack and the side of the room where he was sleeping at was very messy and was holding a satellite dish in his hand.

"What are you doing?" Jack asked as Rudy opened the window, and place the satellite dish on the window seal.

"These hotel movie prices are outrageous! That's why I always bring my own satellite dish." Rudy replied, as I was unpacking my clothes in one of the drawers.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" I asked.

"I do it all the time." Rudy said chuckling as the satellite dish fell out the window and dragging the TV with it and a crash was heard following a car alarm blaring. Jack and I looked at each other with shocked expression. So the reminder of the day, I was reading a book, at 8:00, Jack fell asleep and he was sleeping next to me and he was clinging onto me. I thought that was cute. Eventually around 9:30, I fell asleep and cuddled with him.

~Jack's POV~

In 3 in the morning, I was rudely woken up by a wind chime being thrown. I was spooning with Belle, honestly I didn't want to move. "Rudy! What the hell are you doing?" I whispered shouted.

"Oh, having trouble sleeping huh? Me too." He lied and chuckles. Belle rolled around and wrapped her arms around me, well laying on my chest.

"See what's on TV?" Rudy asked.

"I don't care what's on TV..." I saw it was a movie of Bobby Wasabi movie and move gently from Belle, "

Whoa! It's Bobby Wasabi in 'The Big Book beat-Down'." I sat down crossed legs on Rudy's bed.

We watched the rest of the movie before realizing it was early in the morning. "Look it's almost time to get up, we should probably get to bed." Rudy said the turn off the Tv. Then Rudy pulled out brown box and place it on the nightstand. "What's that?" I asked.

"Well sometimes I have a hard time falling asleep in hotels...This little machine makes a bunch of different soothing sounds. "The calming beaches of Mexico", my favorite." Rudy pressed a button. The sound of waves on rocks filled the room as I laid back down and Belle rolled back onto me. Just as I was going to sleep, La Cucaracha music played out of the box. Belle half-asleep shot up, grabbed the box and turned it off and fell back on the bed half on top of me.

The next morning, I woke up and I was cuddling with Jack and his arms were around me. I gently removed his arms. I stretch my body on bed, I yawned and stretched my arms in the air, I look over to Jack, I smiled at his adorable sleeping face, I cuddled close to him, I felt Jack move, and move a little bit to see he was waking up. "Good morning, babe." I kissed his cheek. Jack grumbled at me for kissing his cheek. I giggled at him. "Morning." His morning deep voice was very hot. I tried to stand up from him, Jack pulled me back to him, I giggled.

"Jack, we have to get up." I said to him. "Nooooo..." Jack whined in response, I felt his hand slide down to my butt and he squeezed it, I yelped in shock, "Jack, you sly fox." I placed my hand in his hair and pushing it back. "Come on, let's get ready." I said.

"Trent Darby, checking in to the penthouse." A guy spoke as he rang the bell. Rudy, Jack and I were packing our things for the tournament. Well, their things.

"Trent Darby?" Rudy asked as I look over to see some guy in a big fluffy coat.

"I don't believe it." Trent gasped. "Little Rudy Gillespie. You got a job here! Good for you!" He said and put a dollar in Rudy shirt pocket. "Be careful with our bags."

"Oh! No, no I don't work here." Rudy laughed, pocketing the money. "So what are doing in town?"

"We were on our way to the Grandmaster Championship's in Japan, and we thought we'd drop in and grab a quick trophy, at the Sensei-Student tournament." Trent answered, "This is Donnie my best student he's a master of the mata-hisa-hushu discipline." As they did a fighting gesture.

"Uh well, this is my best student Jack..."

"Ahem..." I obnoxiously cut him off.

"My best students," Rudy nervously corrected, Jack and Bella, And they're also a master of the maraheshee...Mooshu... mooshe... hesu... He does that too!"

"Hyah!" We copied their fighting position.

"Oh! You three are here to compete? Too bad there could be only one student."

"Oh no, only Jack and Rudy are doing together." I chimed in.

"Ha ha ha! You never learn do you Rudy? This is gonna be great!" Trent laughed as he walked away. Donny gives us a civil nod and walked away with his sensei.

"That guy seems like a jerk, it's going to be great to compete against him right Rudy?" Jack said.

"Oh, we're not going to be competing against him." Rudy denied.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because we're checking out!" Rudy runs toward the checkout, "Check out! Check out! Check out!" He repeating hit the bell and Lady took the bell away from him.

"I'm so sorry for him." I apologize to the lady, "Let's go Rudy. We're not checking out." I dragged Rudy away from the check out desk.

We were back in our hotel room. Rudy was packing his things up, despite me and Jack's attempts to stop him. "Just because you ran into come jerk from your past, you're gonna quit the tournament march down to the lobby and walk out the front door." Jack said.

"Of course not, you're gonna zip me in your suitcase and throw me out the window." Rudy replied.

"You've always said you don't run away from a challenge, you face it head on." I chimes.

"You shouldn't listen to me, I just asked you to throw me out the window." Rudy argued.

"What is it about this guy?" Jack asked.

"Trent Darby stole my life." Rudy said as he explained what happened to me and Trent how Trent flipped him and his girlfriend at the time dumped and put Trent. "After beating me, his life took off. You know he got all the confidence, the string of dojos, and the Lenore. And I wound up where I am."

"There's nothing wrong with where you are. Dude, you're a great Sensei, and you mean everything to your students. " Jack pointed out, "Do you know what, we're going to stay right here and do the best we can, together.

You know what Jack? You're right. Thank you that is exactly the kind of pep talk that I needed. I already feel better." Rudy agreed when he sit down whoopee cushion blowing was heard.

"You really need to get rid of that whoopee cushion." I snickered.

"Yes, because that was definitely the whoopee cushion." Rudy said nervously.

"I'm outta here." I hopped off the bed, and followed Jack out the room.

I was watching the boys practicing for the tournament and I was eating chips in my hands. "Come on Jack! We've been over, and over, and over this!" Rudy sighed, turning off the music.

"What? I thought he was doing good?" I asked.

"Where are his toes?" Rudy asked me. I shrugged in confusion.

"On his feet?" I answered confused. Rudy turned to Jack with a frustrated look.

"No, see your toes are pointed toward Canada, and my toes are pointed towards Memphis." Rudy said to him.

"Well how about we compromise and have our toes and meet in, Cleveland?" Jack suggested causing the custodian behind us clucking.

"What are you laughing at? I know we're hideous, get out!" Rudy yelled at custodian.

"I know you're stressed about beating Trent but, dude what happened to the guy who wanted to come and have some fun and make some memories?" Jack said.

"That guy's dead, and your toes killed him." Rudy answered quickly, "You convinced me, that we could compete."

"I'm doing the best I can." Jack reminded him.

"Well your best isn't good enough!" Rudy snapped. My eyes widened in shock. "You're an embarrassment."

"I'm the embarrassment?" Jack said offended, "I'm outta here."

"Fine! Fine! Walk away!" Rudy yelled after him.

I scoffed at Rudy, "Rudy, that was so uncalled for." I looked at him with disappointment and walked away and after Jack.

...

Jack and I walked back into the tournament room. And saw Rudy who saw us walking in. "Jack! I'm so glad you're here." Rudy beamed.

"I'm not a quitter, if I start something I finish it." Jack told him.

"And we saw you practically begging anyone to be your partner in the tournament, so," I trailed off.

"Look, I said something that I never should've said," Rudy sighed. "You're not the embarrassment. I'm the embarrassment."

"Rudy, even though you turn into a flaming nutcase, I know you're always gonna be there for me. For us," Jack gestured between me and himself. "And we're always gonna be there for you."

"Thanks Jack," Rudy smiled, giving Jack a bro hug.

"I will never understand why guys like to 'bro hug' so much, but they hate normal hugging," I teased.

"Well played," I gave in. "Good luck in the tournament boys."

"Thanks," Jack thanked. "Ya know, if we get a perfect score, we can still win! We've just gotta do something they've never seen before."

"Are you thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?" Rudy asked.

"The Wasabi Whip," Jack answered.

"Oh. I was thinkin' man tassels, but the Wasabi Whip's good," Rudy nodded. "Do you really think we can do it?"

"Rudy, we've seen that movie a hundred times-"

"-which is why I don't know why you guys would waste time watching it at 3 in the morning," I cut in.

"We've seen that movie a hundred times," Jack continued, ignoring me. "When you and I work together," he pointed at Rudy, "nothing's impossible. And what the heck is a man tassel?"

"If Rudy thought of it, do you really wanna know?" I challenged.

...

I was sitting and watched the boys performance, I got an alert on my phone and saw it was a video of something, and walked to see the video. After I saw the video I hurried back to the competition area to see Jack and Rudy cheering. "Did you guys win?!" I asked excitedly, hugging Jack.

"No we did not!" Rudy answered happily.

"Then why are we cheering?" I asked, also happily.

"Because we got the lowest score in history!" Jack beamed.

"Uhhh ok. Sure! Yay! Good job!" I cheered them on, laughing at their weirdness.

"Looks like you're not Jack's luck charm, after all," Rudy laughed.

"I still might be. I had to see something my cousin sent and, I may or may not have missed your performance," I nervously laughed.

"What?!" both boys exclaimed.

"Sorry?" I asked, laughing a little. Maybe I am Jack's lucky charm.

...

"Our bill is 4,000?" Jack asked, baffled.

"What? I told you not to order another juice with breakfast! Yeah.Give me that! Mm, room service 1,500. Oh! 1,100, for a new TV. 1,400, for volleyball net remove...No, this seems about right." Rudy read.

"Hey! Looks like you cut down on some!" I cheered. "Milton just texted me. He'll be here in a sec."

"Oh hey guys," Milton waved as he entered the lobby.

"Milton?" Jack asked. "Dude, what're you doing here?"

"I've been to an away tournament with Rudy before. I know how expensive things can get," Milton answered. "Let me see. Oh this is a cheap one."

"See? Told ya," I told Jack cockily. Milton took out some money and started counting before pausing.

"You know what? Just keep the change," Milton told the lobby lady.

"Ok, I knew you knew the price, but how in the world did you get rich?" I gaped.

"Long story. I can tell you on the way home. I have a helicopter waiting," Milton replied.

"Holla," me, Jack, and Rudy quietly cheered as we left the hotel towards the helicopter.
