I do not own any of the characters except for Arabella.
~Arabella's POV~
I was walking in the dojo, with Kim, I saw Jerry with Lonnie's lizard and Eddie and Milton watching. "Uh... what are you guys doing?"
"Petting my gassy lizard." Jerry answered nonchalantly.
"That sounds about right." I said looking between Jerry and the lizard.
"All right, Bella. It's Wednesday." Milton said already dressed in his gi, holding an helmet, "
Time to get our spar on."
"Uh, Milton, I... We need to...Talk." I said to him feeling guilty. Milton looked at me with a innocent expression, "I don't think we should
spar with each other anymore."
"Is it something I did?" Milton said looking like he was about to cry.
"No, no, no!" I protested, "Milton, you're great. It's... it's not you. It's me."
"It's someone else. Isn't it?" Milton asked upset, "Please don't tell me you sparred with him? Here? On our mats?" I looked away apologetically, I felt bad. "I've been such a fool!" Milton threw the red helmet to the side as I watched him storm into the locker rooms.
"Just down at the arcade. What was I doing there? Only becoming the number one Immortal Slayer player in the world." Jack exclaimed as he walked into the dojo.
"Wow. Spending thousands of hours with nerds in the dark really paid off." I said.
"Sure did." Jack said proudly, "I won a really cool glow-in-the-dark T-shirt." He added as he put his head in his jacket, to look at it, "Oh, man. This thing is awesome."
I gave in an amusing look, "Look, Jack." I said to him when he was done, "I'm tired of sparring with Milton. I mean, you're the only other black belt in this dojo, that I haven't sparred with yet. I want to be challenged."
"Really?" Jack said in disbelief, with nervously tone, "I... I don't think that's a great idea."
"Come on, Jack." I said dragging him towards the mat. He sighed, taking off his shoes.
"Whoa. Wait, you guys are sparring?" Jerry asked. I nodded excitedly. "Does Milton know about this?"
"Yes." Milton walked back into the dojo wearing a bathrob and eating ice cream out of the container with a ladle, "Yes, he does."
Don't you get all tough with me, I'm saying won't you come kick it with me? and we can have a ball, run up the wall, this is how we do, and no matter how much, I chop and punch, it's not as cool as kickin' it with you.
Here we go, let's start the party, chop it up like it's karate.
everybody, don't you get all tough with me, I'm saying won't you come kick it with me? and we can have a ball, run up the wall, this is how we do, and no matter how much I chop and punch, it's not as cool as kickin' it with you.
"Finally some sparing between real karate students." Rudy said excitedly with holding his phone to record us, "Instead of a bunch of confused gazelles blindly flailing around in their pajamas." He continued before turning to the other, "No offense."
"Oh, it's cool."
"None taken."
"I love gazelles."
"I know you are talking about those three and not me."
"And remember, Jack, give me everything you've got." I told him.
"Belle, are you sure you want to do this?" Jack asked I responded with a punch, which he dodged and caught. "Okay." He spoke with wide eyes. We started to fight and it was round of throwing punches and kicks while dodging one others. But I managed to get the upper hand and flipped Jack over when he attacked me, which knocked him to the ground.
"Oh!" Rudy chuckled while moving in for a closer up at the defeated boy, "She just flipped you like a pancake. I gotta go upload this. It's gonna get more hits than 'fat baby fart'."
"Yes! I won" I grinned excitedly as Kim ran up to hug me and we high-fived.
"I gotta hand it to you, Belle. You got the better of me. Congratulations." He gave a kiss on the cheek.
"Let's get so froyo to celebrate." Kim suggested and dragged me along.
... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
~No One's POV~
Bella and Kim just come back from getting froyo and came across with Jerry and Eddie. "So...I guess there's no longer any question about who the number one black belt is in this dojo." Bella bragged.
"Bella took him down. Boom goes the dynamite! Boom! I said, boom." Kim added.
"We get it, Kim. That's the sound dynamite makes." Eddie said, looking unimpressed.
"Yeah, yeah." Jerry said then his voice got high-pitching, "You're number one."
"What was that?" Bella asked suspiciously.
"What?" Jerry said in high-pitched tone.
"When your voice goes up high like that it means you're hiding something." Bella said, "Everybody does it. Don't they, Eddie?"
"Why are you dragging me into this?" Eddie said in a high-pitched tone.
"Jerry, what's going on?" Kim demanded.
"Uh..." Jerry stumbled, as Bella grabbed his ear lobe, causing him to yelp as he stood up.
"All right, all right, all right. Jack threw the match." Jerry gave in.
"He did what?" Bella asked in deadly tone.
"He winked at us like this." Jerry continued while clicking his tongue, winking and pointing his index fingers outwards, "Which is guy talk for 'I let her win'."
"Really?" Bella said gritted her teeth, "Well... Wait till I get my hands on that little winker. Where is he?"
"I don't know." Jerry said in high-pitched tone, "Really, Jerry? Really? He's at the arcade."
"Oh, it's that nice." Bella said in an overly sweetly tone, "I will have a word with him."
Bella stormed away while the other three looked at her until she was out of sight, "Do you think she will break up with him?" Eddie wondered.
"Nah, did you see the way she smiled oh so sweetly?" Kim asked as the boys who shook their heads, "That's girl talk for 'I'm going to kill him."

~Arabella's POV~
I walked into the Gamer's Lair and made my through the crown that chanted loudly. "Thrasher! Thrasher! Thrasher! Thrasher!"
I crossed my arms when I saw Jack stand on a platform that transferred his moves in reality to the character on the screen.
"Belle!" Joan said walking over to me. "Surprised to see you here. You'd better watch your back. This video arcade is where nerds go off."
"Um, they look pretty harmless to me." I looked around in disbelief.
"Oh. Little known fact. A nerd has three times the strength of your average dork." Joan told me, " I was in here last year when the change machine jammed. Good thing I had my nerd riot gear. Spritz bottle with water, that's all it takes.
Nerds." Joan walked away, I was confused.
Male voice: "Congratulations, Thrasher. You are immortal." As the crowd cheering.
"Hey, Belle." Jack beamed as he jogged up to me, "Did you see that? That's why they call me 'Thrasher'." He pulled his jacket forward like someone who do when they are boast.
"Oh, pretty impressive." I plastered on a fake smile, " Hey, quick question for ya, Thrasher." I mimicked his movement. "When we sparred this morning, did you let me win?"
"What?" Jack said in a high-pitched voice.
"I knew it. I can't believe you didn't have enough respect to fight me for real." I said angrily, "Why did you hold back?"
"Well, you know... I'm a..." Jack pointed at himself awkwardly, "And you're..."
"Oh, wow. A girl?" I said sarcastically.
"Well..." Jack trailed off.
"Thrasher, get on up here." The guy on the stage with a mic called out.
"The owner of the game company needs me. Gotta go." Jack hurriedly away. I rolled my eyes at this.
"How about a hand for Thrasher everybody?" The game owner said, "I'm excited to announce the first ever live Immortal Slayer death match,
between the top two players in the country. This Saturday night, right here in Thrasher's home arcade. And the winner's avatar will be featured on the cover of next year's home version." I rolled my eyes, and gave them a disappointment look, and crowd cheering, I stormed out of the arcade.
... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I was wearing a hoodie and leggings. I was kicking and punching, like I'd do in a regular spar, and winning the another match. Everyone was chanting my username. "Congratulations, Skull-Ripper. You are immortal." The video game announces as I flipped my hoodie off my head.
"Belle?" Jack asked shocked as I looked at him smugly.
"Oh. Hi, Jack." I smirked at him before clicking my teeth, winking and pointing my index fingers at him.
"She kicked that alien right in his snot box." One nerd exclaimed, "That's my kind of woman."
"Actually, that's my kind of woman."
... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
"I know what this is about." Jack said the next day in school as we stood by our lockers, "It's about me letting you win when we sparred."
"Oh, I wonder why?" I snapped, "That's exactly what it's about. I mean, I wanted a fair fight from you and this is the only way that I could get it."
"Belle. Death match is gonna be shown online." Jack told me, "You're gonna embarrass yourself in front of a whole lot of people."
"Sounds like you're scared." I crossed my arms.
"Okay, you know what?" Jack exclaimed, "You want a real fight with me where I don't hold back? Well, you're gonna get it."
"Good. Because that's what I want."
"Fine!"
"Fine!"
"Good!"
"Good!"
Both of us slammed our lockers shut and walked away in opposite directions.
"I forgot my books." Jack gritted out.
"Me too." I spoke through gritted my teeth.
... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
"Jack, why don't you tell everybody what your strategy is?" The game owner suggested as we stood in front of a camera.
"I'm going to use my agility and arsenal of counter-attacking spin kicks, to take my opponent down." Jack explained.
"I'm just gonna rip his skull off and soccer-kick it off the roof." I shrugged not caring.
"What? You want to do this right now?" Jack argued at me.
"I really want to do this."
We were startled to shout at each other and it was overlapping chatter. As two people separated us.
...( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
"Welcome to the ultimate death match." The game owner announced as me and Jack stepped onto our pads, glaring at each other. "Two will enter the death chamber. But only one will survive the violent massacre. Sponsored by Fluffy Cow Fro-Yo. It's time to moo-ve over, ice cream. Let the annihilation begin!"
As the crowd cheering and the game announced, "Three, two, one. Fight!" We started the fight, well, I was continuing winning most of the time, until I slammed into his arms which prevented me from moving.
"You probably shouldn't have done that." I can practically heard Jack smirked.
"You just love saying that don't you." I grumbled at him and trying to move.
"He perfectly blocked her move! And is using the energy from her death strike to enhance his life power! Oh, Joan's getting overheated! Spritz me, nerd!" I heard Joan shouting as I was continuing to struggle. Jack's character managed to defeated my character and won.
"Thrasher, you are the ultimate champion!" The game declared. As the crowd cheered, and applauded him, finally happy he finally gave me his all.
"I thought we had an agreement, Jack. You blew it. We were going to build an entire game franchise around the Thrasher." The game owner said.
"I was never gonna throw the fight. Some things are just more important than a dumb video game." Jack said to him. The game owner whimpered, walking past him as I walked up to him.
"I don't believe it. He wanted you to throw the fight?" I asked.
"Yeah. But, uh. I wasn't gonna make that mistake again." Jack said with a sheepish smile.
"Well, congratulations. I mean... It's not every day a girl gets to see her guts splattered into a million pieces by her own boyfriend. I will give you credit."
"So, you're okay that I beat you?" Jack wondered.
"You gave me your best shot and that's all I ever wanted." I told him.
"Joan, what are you doing up there?" A nerd said to Joan as we looked over to see her on the pad.
"I'm showing you punks you don't want to mess with the Mall Cop Mauler. You can't handle this." Joan said as she started to do karate move weirdly.
"You know you have to put a dollar in, right?"
"Oh. Forget that." Joan said walked off the pad and walked away.
"Soooo," Jack trailed off and giving me a hopeful smile, "Am I forgiven for being an ass earlier?"
"You are forgiven." I smiled and hugged him, "but don't ever do that again, understand me mister."
"I promise."
...( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
"Okay Jack..." I said the next day when we were standing in front of each other. "Now that we're gonna spar for real, let's see what you got."
"All right, but I really don't want to hurt you, okay?" Jack said a little worried, I gave him a glare.
"Why? I'm okay with hurting you." I smirked at him.
Jack gave me a look of disbelief and sighed, "I'm such a lucky guy." He leaned to peck my lips before we separated, as we walked back and started running at each other.
