I do not own any of the characters except for Arabella.

~Arabella's POV~

"Hey, where have you guys been?" Rudy demanded as me and Jack walked into the dojo to see Kim, Jerry, Eddie and Milton who looked a little frightened. "Practice started a half-hour ago."

"Sorry, Rudy. It's Wednesday. We volunteer at the nursing home." Jack apologized.

"We volunteer at the nursing home." Rudy mocked, "Get your priorities straight, people.

Tomorrow is the Champions Tournament!"

"Where I am getting my orange belt." Eddie was barely able to say before Rudy cut in, "I said we're proud of you, now zip it!"

"Rudy, man, you're a little wound up, but we are ready for the tournament." Jack said, "Belle's been helping me with my spinning back-kick."

"Yeah, show him, Jack." I agreed excitedly, grabbing a wood board.

"Ready?" Jack asked. I nodded, getting the board setup before he performed a perfect spinning back kick.

"That is perfect. You need to do exactly that tomorrow. You never know who's going to be watching you." Rudy said.

"My whole family's coming to watch me get my orange belt." Eddie exclaimed.

"Ooh, that's excit-"

"Oh please...Let it go!" Rudy cut me off and I gave him a glare of disbelief.

Don't you get all tough with me, I'm saying won't you come kick it with me? and we can have a ball, run up the wall, this is how we do, and no matter how much, I chop and punch, it's not as cool as kickin' it with you.

Here we go, let's start the party, chop it up like it's karate.

everybody, don't you get all tough with me, I'm saying won't you come kick it with me? and we can have a ball, run up the wall, this is how we do, and no matter how much I chop and punch, it's not as cool as kickin' it with you.

Eddie performed his last routine as yellow belt, making us all applaud and cheer "Thank you, Sensei." Eddie bowed after getting his orange belt making us all cheer again, "Today, I have become a man. From this day forward, when

I pee, I will do it standing!"

"That's so much information, Eddie." I patted his shoulder.

"Oh, he's here, he's here, he's here!" Rudy repeated, looking at a man who just entered.

"Uh, who's here?" Milton asked.

"Certainly not a mysterious stranger from

Japan who could change our lives forever." Rudy said nervously before walking over to the man.

I walked up to Jack, "I'm kinda nervous. This guy I'm going up against hasn't lost in two years."

"Well, he's about to." I said reassuring, "He doesn't know who he's messing with...Bobby Wasabi's best student right here!" I shouted, "You don't want any of this!"

"Belle, stop." Jack said to me to stop.

"Because boom goes the dynamite! Boom!" I continued.

"Belle, stop booming. People are looking." Jack said to me stopping from continuing.

"Ok, ok. I'll stop, but I believe in you, you got this!" I reassured him as I patted his back for encouragement. "Thanks."

The referee signaled for them to start and it was brutal. Both of them were extremely quick and precise, resulting in both of them landing some kicks and punches.

The other guy managed to kick Jack in the stomach, resulting in him falling to the ground but quickly he stood up again. The fight continued it looked like the other guy was getting frustrated because he became sloppier which gave Jack an opportunity to land a good kick and win.

"Yes, yes!" Jack jumped up and down, cheering in victory while the crowd clapped.

"I am the greatest Sensei in the world!"

"Jack, you did it. That was incredible." I ran to him, jumping up to hug him which almost knocked him over. But he caught his balance and spun me around a little.

"See, I told you, that you can do it, dummy!" I smiled softly at him.

"Yeah, all thanks to you." Jack replied.

I blushed at his compliment, and giggled, I pulled Jack to a kiss and we kissed for a second and separated and pull apart from the hug, "Now, listen to me mister, when I say do not doubt yourself about winning, because I know you can eventually win, ok." I lightly punched his shoulder.

Jack smirked at me, "Alright, I will listen, ok." I gave a nod, lightly slapping his shoulders, "You better."

I was walking down the school hallway stairs when a girl approached Jack, "Jack, you're just so awesome. I mean, that fly-kicky thing you did was, like, wow! I hope you like the balloon." She giggled.

"Oh, thanks." Jack thanks. I looked at her with disgust, I swear these girls are so bold and thirst for Jack, my boyfriend.

"See you, Jack." The girl squealed.

"I mean that fly-kicky thing

you did was, like, wow!" I mocked her giggling.

"You really don't like her, do you?" Jack said.

"What makes you say that? Hey, look!" I pointed at a direction where Jack looked and as I pooped the ballon with my pencil. "Late to class. See ya."

Kim and I were watching Milton do pushups on the mats as Jerry and Eddie was doing something with the punching bag. "Next time you're in town, call me." Rudy told another Japanese man. "It doesn't have to be business, we can just hang. Do you foosball? All right, everybody, bring it in! Jack has an unbelievable

announcement to make."

"It's a little crazy, but I just got offered a scholarship to the Otai Academy." Jack exclaimed.

I gasped in surprise.

"So full of pride." Rudy choked out.

"What?" I said in shock.

"But the Otai Academy is in Japan." Milton pointed out.

"Wait, what are you saying, Jack?" Eddie asked.

"I'm moving to Japan." Jack replied with a small smile.

"Oh no. My legs are going. Mat me! Mat me, Jerry!" Rudy ordered and Jerry quickly pulled a mat in front of Rudy who of course fell backwards instead.

"Dude, you gotta be more specific." Jerry said.

...(ノヮ)ノ:・゚

"I still can't believe that I'm moving to Japan." Jack said a few minutes later when we sat gathering in a circle.

I mean I'm excited for him, but I will miss him a lot.

"I mean, I leave Friday." Jack continued.

"I was just reading about the Otai Academy." Eddie said, "This brochure says the

scholarship is for four years."

"When you come back, we'll be in college." I said softly.

"Wow, you... you're right." Jack said.

"Man, this place is unbelievable!" Jerry gaped, taking the brochure from Eddie, "State of the art training center, outdoor dojo... And the cafeteria has got a "make your own waffle" station! Shut up!"

"Sounds like a great opportunity." I nodded as the gang all looked at the brochure, "I'll catch up with you guys later."

...

I was sitting at Phil' and Joan was sitting across from me. "Hey, why so glum, soul sister?" Joan asked noticing that I barely touched my food.

"Well, my boyfriend who is Jack, he's moving to Japan." I said to her, "I'm excited for him, it just I will miss him a lot. And I'm nervous to tell him."

"Hmm." Joan gasped, "Let me tell you something... Eighth grade, the first boy I ever

had feelings for, Brendan Harper, tells me he's moving to Wisconsin. You know what I did?"

"You were honest with him and told him how you felt?" I guessed.

"No. I put chains around his legs and locked him in our woodshed." Joan corrected as l looked at her in shock. "If you love something, don't set it free. You'll never see it again."

"Thanks, Joan." I slowly thanked.

"Okay, let's try it one more time. I think I got it." Zane told us, causing us all to nod. We were in the dojo, teaching Zane the Wasabi Code.

"We swear by the light of the dragon's eye, to be loyal and honest and never say die." We recited, "Wasabi!"

"You got it, Zane." Kim smiled, patting his shoulder.

"Thanks." He replied.

"Hey, guys." I heard Jack greet.

"Oh hey, Jack. This is Zane. He's the new you." Jerry spoke nonchalantly, making my eyes go wide.

"Awkward!" Milton sang.

"Oh, Jack, Zane's gonna need your locker." Eddie pointed out.

"Awkwarder." Milton sang again.

"Yeah, yeah, that's no problem. I was coming to clean it out anyway." Jack said as he walked past us to his locker. I jogged up behind him.

"Uh, look, Jack, he's just the new guy in the dojo." I assured, "Nobody could replace you."

"We're going to Falafel Phil's with Jack's replacement." Jerry told us, making me give him a glare.

"Belle? Check these out." Jack said as walked over to me and showing me pictures, "We took this at the photo booth down at the pier, remember?"

"Oh yeah. I can't believe you still have those." I smiled softly.

"There's four pictures here. You take two and I'll take two?" He suggested.

"Yeah." I agreed. He ripped them in half, giving me the top half.

"Hey, I remember that one." He pointed at the first picture on my strip, "That's where I gave you a wet willy."

"Look at the next one." I laughed softly, "That's the one where I gave you a black eye."

...(ノヮ)ノ:・゚

"Listen, I rethought your whole situation. Before Jack leaves he has to know what's in your heart." Joan told me. I asked her to met again at Falafel's Phil, with the whole Jack situation.

"I tried, but the words just don't come out." I sighed.

"That's because the heart doesn't speak..." Joan replied as I pull out a keyboard, "It sings! I've had love you from the very start." She continued to sing, making look at her in shock and silence, "First you broke some boards...Then you broke...

My... Heart! Aw...Aw... Snap boom, crack and snap. Chop, chop, hyah, chop, chop, chop!"

I looked at her in shock and embarrassed, "Well, I'm not doing that."

I was jogged up the courtyard, trying to catch Jack before he left. I wrote him a letter about everything I wanted to tell him. And that I stole his plaid flannels. "Oh Bella." Rudy stopped me, "Jack put some of his personal thoughts down in this letter and wanted me to give it to you, so see ya." Rudy finished, handing me the letter, Jack looked like he was trying to take the letter back.

"Um, It's okay, Jack. I did the same thing." I told him, handing him the letter, "There's some things that I wanted you to know. But promise me you'll wait to read it till you're on the plane."

"I would but... I changed my mind. I'm not going." Jack replied. My eyes widened by that, ok, I want my letter back.

"Well, in that case, I'm just going to say it..." I said, "I want my letter back."

"And I want mine." Jack agreed as we quickly switched letters.

"So what made you change your mind about going to Japan?" I asked.

"Oh, I don't know." He spoke, looking at our friends in the dojo, "I thought it might cost too much. And I be missing you a lot." I smiled at him warmly. "Do you wanna leave get out of here and somewhere else." I asked him. "Sure."

"This next song's going out to a couple of great kids. And I don't want to embarrass

them by saying their names, but they rhyme with shmack and shmim." Joan announced as me and Jack watched her perform at Falafel's Phil. Jack and I shook our heads in embarrassment. "You know who you are. And it's called... Crack, boom, snap and whap." She started to sing, "Crack, boom, snap and whap. Whip, tap, dap dap, chop and bap. Sizzle sizzle sizzle sizzle, hearts afire."
