This episode introduces Ingrid to the spinoff enjoy I am still building Lily's friend group and it uses Lily's photography skills from Out Of The Picture. Ps. Sorry if I took a while to update I just want to make sure it's just right and some laziness on my part. But I'm thinking about doing two episodes at a time after this one feel free to leave some reviews on my DeviantArt profile and posts too
Episode 4: Campaign Clash
An early afternoon at Royal Woods Elementary School Lily was getting ready to eat lunch with her friends Audry and Aidan when their other friend Ingrid joined them at their table. Ingrid had been friends with Lily and the gang since they're preschool days. Ingrid had slightly dark skin, buck teeth and brown hair tied in a ponytail with a yellow scrunchy she was wearing a white t shirt with a unicorn on it and a coral red skirt she also had tube socks and red shoes.
"hey Ingrid," said Lily.
"hey guys," said Ingrid.
Lily took out her lunchbox and put it on the table
"ok guys time for today's lunch swap," said Lily.
Audrey, Aidan and Ingrid took out their lunchboxes and put them on the table.
Audrey takes out a steak and cheese sandwich. "who's willing to trade for a steak sandwich?" Audrey asked.
Aidan takes out a container of pizza bagels.
"you willing to trade for some pizza bagels?" Aidan asked.
Audrey looked at the pizza bagels and smiled
"throw in your chocolate pudding and we have a deal," said Audrey.
"deal," said Aidan.
Ingrid looked at Lily.
"well, what do you think Lily?" asked Ingrid.
Lily looked over Aidan's pizza bagels and chocolate pudding and Audrey's sandwich
"well as the lunch trade commissioner I find this trade acceptable," said Lily.
Audrey and Aidan exchanged their lunch items when they saw one of the teachers put up something on the bulletin board.
"huh I wonder what's that about?" Audrey asked curiously.
"I'm not sure I'll go check it out," said Lily.
Lily got up from her seat and went to look and she saw a paper on the wall and it said Student Council Election Signups.
"huh the student council election signup sheet," Lily read.
"oh, it's election time already?" asked Audrey.
"looks like it," said Lily sitting back down at the table.
"well, I hope none of you plan on running," said a mocking voice.
Lily, Audrey, Aidan and Ingrid turned around and saw Monica with her 2 minions Nancy and Erika standing behind them.
Nancy was a 12-year-old girl with tan skin wearing a purple T-shirt with a unicorn on it and blue skirt and Erika was a 11-year-old girl with pale white skin she was wearing a pink t shirt and a lime green skirt.
"after all I've been student council president since first grade and no one has ever run against me," said Monica.
"that's because you use your daddy's money to buy votes," said Lily annoyed.
"yeah it's not like you actually work hard to win," said Ingrid.
"well, who asked you," said Monica as she left the cafeteria annoyed.
"yeah what do you know," said Nancy as she and Erika followed Monica.
"you know I am sick and tired of that spoiled brat winning every year," said Audrey.
"as am I," said Aidan.
"tell me about it," said Lily.
"yeah me too," said Ingrid.
"it would be nice if someone knocked her down a peg," said Audrey.
suddenly that gave Lily an idea.
"hey someone should run against her," said Lily eagerly.
"what?" asked Audrey confused as she, Aidan and Ingrid stared at Lily.
"what if one of us ran against Monica and won," said Lily.
"oh, come on Lily she's been running unopposed for 3 years now," said Ingrid.
"which is why it's about time someone ran against her someone who actually cares about the school," said Lily.
Aidan, Audrey and Ingrid looked at each other and smiled.
"I do admit it does sound like a great idea," said Aidan.
"and I would love to see the look on Monica's face if she loses," said Audrey.
"but who should run against her?" asked Ingrid.
Lily, Audrey Ingrid and Aidan looked at each other trying to decide who should run against Monica.
"heh no not me I'm too busy with the art and the photography clubs," said Lily.
"not me either I'm not sure I'd be popular enough," said Audrey.
"don't look at me," said Ingrid.
"well, how about you Aidan?" asked Lily.
"who me?" asked Aidan surprised.
"yeah that's a great idea you're always talking about ways to help the school," said Audrey.
"I um I don't know," said Aidan.
"why not? you'd be a great president," said Ingrid.
Aidian thought about it for a minute and a smile appeared on his face.
"ok I'll do it," said Aidan causing Lily, Audrey and Ingrid to cheer.
"and don't worry we'll help you every step of the way," said Lily.
Aidan smiled hearing that.
Later at The Loud House after school Lily, Audrey, Aidan and Ingrid were in Lily's room preparing Aidan's campaign.
"ok guys this is it first meeting for Aidan's campaign for student council president," said Lily.
"so, what should we do first?" asked Audrey.
"yeah what's the plan?" asked Aidan.
"well first we need to figure out ideas for your campaign," said Ingrid.
"yeah like on how you can improve the school and how you can make things better," said Lily.
"well, I think the drama department needs more money," said Aidan writing it down on a notepad.
"that's a great start anything else," said Ingrid.
"right and actually now that I think about it so does the art club," said Lily.
"ok, I'll add that too," said Aidan writing down Lily's idea.
"great any other ideas?" asked Lily.
"well, the school band could use some new instruments," said Ingrid.
"that's good," said Aidan adding Ingrid's idea.
"um and maybe more books in the library," said Audrey.
Aidan gets a smile on his face as he writes down Audrey's ideas.
"these are all great ideas guys," said Aidan.
"and we also need to make posters and I've got that covered but there's no time to do that tonight," said Lily.
"ok I think that's everything," said Audrey.
"so, this weekend we'll take the photos for the campaign posters but for now we should get going," said Aidan.
"right, see you guys tomorrow," said Lily.
"see ya tomorrow Lily," Audrey, Aiden and Ingrid all said as they left for home.
the next morning Lily grabbed a camera from her closet and put it around her neck. Just then there was a knock on the door Lily went and answered it and saw Audrey, Ingrid and Aidan at the doorstep.
"hey guys," said Lily.
"hey, Lily is everything ready?" asked Audrey.
"yep come on in," said Lily.
Aidan, Audrey and Ingrid came inside.
"ok Aidan you ready?" asked Lily.
"yeah let's do it," said Aidan.
Lily, Audrey, Ingrid and Aidan went to Lily's room where she had set up a place for Aidan to pose for photos with a chair in the center of the room.
"here Aidan take a seat and let's get started," said Lily.
Aidan sat down on the chair and gave a self-assured pose by putting his left arm on his knee and giving a confident look on his face and Lily pointed her camera at Aidan.
"say cheese," said Lily.
"cheese," said Aidan.
Lily pressed the button on her camera and took multiple photos.
"that was great now let's do a few more," said Lily.
Aidian stood up and took another pose this time he crossed his arms in front of him leaned on the wall and smiled and Lily took more photos with her camera while moving it in different angles.
"ok now these are the last ones," said Lily.
Aidan sat back down and did one more pose this time he crossed his legs while sitting on the chair and his left arm on his chin like he was thinking. Lily took the last of the photos and put her camera back around her neck,
"that should do it," said Lily.
"great," said Aidan.
"so, Lily will make the posters but we still need a slogan," said Audrey.
"right a slogan," said Ingrid.
Lily, Aidan, Audrey and Ingrid start thinking.
"um how about Vote For Adian?" asked Audrey.
"too basic," said Lily.
"how about Cast Your Vote for Awesome Aidan?" Asked Ingrid.
"that's good but maybe we need something with more spice," said Audrey.
Lily thought for a minute and suddenly had an idea.
"I've got it Vote Aidan for an Amazing Leader," said Lily.
"that's it," said Audrey.
"yeah that's great what do you think Aidan?" asked Ingrid.
"it has a certain ring to it," said Aidan.
"ok guys I'll get started on the posters before dinner," said Lily.
"right, we should head home we'll start strategizing on Aidan's campaign tomorrow," said Audrey.
"see you tomorrow Lily," said Ingrid.
Aidan, Audrey and Ingrid left Lily room and headed home.
"see ya guys," said Lily waving goodbye to her friends as they left.
Later that night Lily plugged her camera into her computer and started scanning the photos she took of Aidian for the posters into her laptop and as she looked over the photos she smiled at her work.
"these pictures turned out great," said Lily.
"Lily come on down it's time for dinner the lynn-guine's getting cold," called out Lynn Sr.
"coming dad," said Lily.
Lily got up and went downstairs into the dining room where she saw the rest of her sisters with her parents at the table and they all had lynn-guine on their plates and she sat down to join them for dinner and Lynn Sr. put some lynn-guine on her plate and Lily started eating.
"so, girls how were you days?" asked Rita.
"fine," said Lucy in a deadpan tone.
"flawless," said Lola proudly.
"alright," said Lana.
"nothing to report," said Lisa.
"how about you Lily how was your day?" asked Rita.
"it was ok," said Lily.
"so, what were you doing in your room?" asked Lynn Sr.
"I was scanning and developing photos on my laptop," said Lily.
"really?" said Rita.
"yeah Aidan's running for student council president so I'm making the posters," said Lily.
"oh, wow that's great so what are the plans for Aidan's campaign?" asked Lynn Sr.
"we have quite a few of them" said Lily.
"well, he's going to need really good ones if he wants to win," said Lola.
"yeah especially since his opponent has been winning unopposed for the last few elections," said Lily.
"well do you have any ideas?" asked Lucy.
"yep the drama and the art department need more money and the library needs some new books," said Lily.
"see that's a good start," said Rita.
"but you're going to need more than that if you and your friends want Aidan to win," said Lisa.
"I know we also thought of getting the school band some new instruments," said Lily.
"I'm sure you and your friends we'll do great just remember to do your best," said Lynn Sr.
"right dad," said Lily before taking another bite of her Lynn-guine.
An early Monday morning at Royal Woods Elementary School Lily met up with Aidan, Audry and Ingrid by her locker.
"hey Lily, do you have the posters?" asked Ingrid. Lily takes off her backpack.
"yep they're in here I finished them up last night," said Lily.
Lily opens her backpack and takes out a pile of posters. Audrey, Aidan and Ingrid looked at the posters that Lily made. they were blue and red with silver stars in the corners with the pictures of Aidan that Lily took in the center and the words Vote Aidan for an Amazing Leader on top.
"wow," said Ingrid impressed.
"man, Lily you really outdid yourself with these," said Audrey amazed.
"yeah these are great," said Aidan.
"thanks," said Lily.
"all right guys let's get hanging," said Ingrid.
Lily, Audrey, Ingrid and Aidan started hanging posters on the wall.
When suddenly then heard laughter from behind them. Lily and the others turned and saw Monica and her minions Nancy and Erika behind them.
"what do you want Monica?" asked Lily.
"is this a joke," said Monica.
"you don't actually think your friend can win do you?" asked Nancy.
"what's the matter Monica you afraid of having a little competition for change?" asked Ingrid.
"oh, please I'm not afraid of anything besides it's not like he actually going to win," said Monica.
"Aidan has just as much of a chance at winning as you do Monica," said Lily.
"yeah this time daddy's money won't be able to help you," said Ingrid.
Monica glared at Lily and the others and scoffed at them.
"come on Nancy, Erika let's get away from the stench of losers," said Monica.
"loser really Monica?," asked Nancy.
"we just thought they forgot to shower," said Erika.
Monica and her gang walked off laughing leaving Lily, Audrey, Ingrid and Aidan fuming with rage.
"man, I can't wait to see the look on Monica's face when she loses," said Audrey.
"me neither we need to make sure she loses," said Ingrid.
"ok let's get to work," said Lily.
"right," said Audrey.
Later during recess Lily, Audrey, Ingrid and Aidan were sitting on a bench outside the playground.
"ok Aidan now we need to work on your campaign," said Lily.
"how?" asked Aidan.
"now we have to meet with students," said Lily.
"right, we need to get you support," said Audrey.
"good thing I also made these said Lily.
Lily opened her backpack and took out tons of buttons and flyers that said Vote Aidan on them.
"woah," said Ingrid.
"when did you make these?" asked Aidan.
"I got up extra early so I could make them before school they should help with getting support," said Lily.
"ok let's get started," said Aidan.
Later in the cafeteria during lunch Lily, Audrey, Aidan and Ingrid gathered a crowd of kids at one of the tables.
"boys and girls allow us to introduce your next student council president Aidan," said Audrey.
The crowd applauded as Aidan waved to them shyly.
"um hello everyone," said Aidan getting a little nervous.
Aidan turned to Lily, Audrey and Ingrid in the crowd and saw Lily telling him to breathe and he took a deep breath and he felt more confident.
"hello everyone as my friends have told you I'm running for student council president," said Aidan.
"excuse me but Monica has been president since first grade what exactly can you do better?" asked a boy.
"well for one thing unlike Monica I actually want to help this school," said Aidan.
"how?" asked a girl.
"well first off I plan to raise more money for clubs like drama and art," said Aidan.
Lily, Audrey and Ingrid applauded along with the crowd.
"and most of all I promise that I will actually listen to all of you my fellow students so if you want a leader who will represent everyone then vote for me," said Aidan.
The crowd erupted into loud applause while Lily, Audrey and Ingrid handed out buttons and flyers to students but unknown to them Nancy and Erika were watching from outside the cafeteria getting worried.
"Monica's not going to like this," said Nancy.
"your right," said a voice.
Nancy and Erika turned and saw Monica behind them glaring angrily at the scene.
"I don't like it," she said getting angry.
"he's actually getting support," said Nancy.
"so, what are you going to do?" asked Erika.
Monica clenched her fists filled with rage.
"I'm going to put that loser in his place," said Monica bitterly.
"how?" asked Nancy.
"well like daddy always says if you want to win you need to play dirty," said Monica
an evil smirk appeared on Monica's face.
"I have an idea," she said.
Later after lunch Lily, Audrey, Ingrid and Adian were leaving math class when Audrey saw something that shocked her.
"um guys you might want to see this," said Audrey.
Lily, Ingrid and Aidan looked and saw Aidan's posters vandalized some posters had stink lines drawn over Aidan's picture, other posters had mustaches drawn on Aidan's face with an x crossed over the words Amazing Adian and some of them were simply torn in half.
"what happened?" asked Ingrid shocked.
Lily grabbed a piece of one of the torn posters.
"the posters they're ruined I worked on them all weekend," said Lily upset at seeing her hard work destroyed.
"someone vandalized them," said Aidan.
Lily and the gang observed the ruined posters and saw one of them covered by one of Monica's posters and suddenly realized who the culprit was.
"Monica's behind this," said Lily furiously.
"so, she's playing dirty," said Audrey.
"looks like it," said Lily.
"we can't let her get away with this we should report her to the principal," said Audrey.
"we don't have any proof that she was involved so he won't believe us," said Lily.
"well, if she wants to play dirty then maybe we should you know give her a taste of her own medicine," said Ingrid.
"no, I will not stoop to her level," said Aidan.
"yeah if we want Aidan to win it has to be fair and square," said Lily.
Ingrid sighed.
"that's no fun but ok," said Ingrid disappointed.
Later after school Lily, Audrey, Aidan and Ingrid were in the living room thinking about what to do.
"I just saw some posts on SwiftyPic Monica's having a party for the entire class with catering and a band at her house," said Ingrid showing Lily, Audrey and Aidan her phone.
"she's trying to buy their votes," said Aidan realizing Monica's plan.
"so how are we going to handle this?" asked Audrey.
"well first I'll have to make more posters to replace the ruined ones," said Lily.
"I still think we should play dirty," said Ingrid.
"Ingrid that's what Monica wants us to do," said Lily.
"Lily's right we can't give her that satisfaction," said Aidan.
"so, what are we supposed to do?" asked Ingrid.
"we just need to work harder," said Aidan.
"but she has the support of entire class," said Ingrid worried.
"maybe for now but remember guys unlike Monica we don't need to buy Aidan votes," said Lily.
"yeah, we just need to get you more support than Monica has before the debate on Friday," said Audrey.
"right, we'll hold some more campaign rallies in the cafeteria at school and meet with more of the students," said Lily.
"ok guys hands together," said Ingrid.
Lily, Aidan, Audrey and Ingrid put their hands together.
"all together now," said Lily.
"Victory!," they cheered.
The next day at school Lily, Audrey, Ingrid and Aidan were in the school auditorium so Aidan could meet with the drama club.
"and I promise that if you all vote for me you'll have more money for new costumes, better equipment and supplies," said Aidan.
The drama club cheered for Aidan after the speech while Nancy and Erika watched from outside the auditorium.
"this isn't good," said Erika.
"we should tell Monica," said Nancy.
"I already know," said a voice.
Nancy and Erika saw Monica walking up to them looking very annoyed at the sight she saw.
"I see vandalizing the posters didn't work," said Monica.
"so, what now Monica?" asked Nancy.
"it looks like we need to up our game," said Monica.
"how?" asked Ericka.
Monica just had an evil smile on her face.
"I know what to do," she said.
later after math class Lily and the gang were on their way to the art room to meet with the art club when suddenly someone holding a bucket ran past them and splashed some green goop on him and ran off.
"hey!" said Lily angrily.
"what's the big idea you jerk!," Ingrid called out.
"ugh this stuff is gross," said Aidan grossed out.
Audrey picks up the bucket and touches the liquid with her fingers and examined it.
"well, it looks like it's just green paint," said Audrey.
"that doesn't make me feel better," said Aidan blankly.
Ingrid notices a letter on the ground.
"huh what's this?" Ingrid asked as she picked it up and handed it to Lily.
Lily opened the letter and she saw the words Drop out or Else! written on it.
"so, Monica's moving up to pranks and threats," said Lily.
Aidan grabbed the letter from Lily and crumpled it up and threw it in the trash.
"well, it's not going to work," he said.
"so, what are we going to do?" asked Audrey.
"yeah we can't prove she was involved in this either," said Ingrid.
"we just need to keep working we'll show Monica that her dirty tricks can't scare us," said Lily.
over the next few days Lily made more posters to replace the ones that were vandalized and hung them all over the school and Audrey and Ingrid handed out more flyers and buttons while Aidan spoke to more of the clubs about his campaign to gain more support until the debate on Friday.
The following Friday Aidan was with Lily, Audrey and Ingrid backstage getting ready for the debate.
"ok Aidan you ready?" asked Lily.
"yeah I'm ready," said Aidan.
"ready to get crushed maybe," said a voice.
Lily, Audrey, Ingrid and Aidan turned and saw Monica, Nancy and Erika behind them and Lily and the others glared at them angrily.
"I can't believe you actually showed up," said Monica.
Aidan marched up to Monica and got right into her face.
"I'm here for one thing only to win," said Aidan.
Monica laughed along with her minions while Lily, Aidan, Audey and Ingrid's anger grew.
"yeah right like you actually have a chance against me," said Monica as she and her minions left in a huff.
"don't listen to her Aidan," said Audrey.
"yeah you got this," said Ingrid.
Aidan smiled at his friends words of encouragement
"ok let's do this," said Aidan.
Lily, Audrey and Ingrid nodded and gave him thumbs up before going to their seats in the crowd while Aidan goes out on stage where the principal was in front of a podium in front on two stands with a microphone in the center on each side of the stage and Monica standing over the one on the left.
The principal was a man in his mid-30s with brown hair wearing a dark blue suit and white necktie.
"now to begin the debate for student council president," he said. The crowd applauds.
"now here are our candidates Aidan and Monica," said the Principal. the crowd applauded as Aidan waved bashfully while Monica just smirked smugly.
"thank you Principal Wilton," said Aidan.
Aidan faces the crowd.
"as you all know I have tons of ideas to help the school and I promise if you vote for me I will do everything I can to make this school better for all of us," said Aidan.
The crowd applauded at what Aidan said but just then everyone noticed Monica laughing.
"what's so funny?" Aidan asked.
"it's just cute that you actually think your capable of being president," said Monica smugly.
Lily, Audrey and Ingrid watched the debate from the crowd getting mad.
"ugh that spoiled little brat," said Ingrid.
"yeah," said Audrey.
"don't let her get to you Aidan," said Lily getting concerned.
"at least I actually want to help the school unlike you," said Aidan.
"oh, spare me the dull speeches," said Monica rolling her eyes.
"ok then Monica what are your plans for the school if your reelected?" asked Aidan.
Monica chuckled Aidan's question.
"who cares about that? all you and these people need to know is that I will always be what the school needs," said Monica.
"well, I plan to raise more money for the art and drama departments and to get new instruments for the school band and I will also work to get more books for the school library," said Aidan.
The crowd applauded hearing Aidan's ideas but then Aidan saw Monica stretch her arms as she did a fake yawn.
"boring," said Monica.
Lily, Audrey and Ingrid fumed with rage while Aidan glared at Monica, annoyed, and then turned to the crowd.
"see what I mean she doesn't care about helping the school at all," said Aidan.
"well, it takes more than words to make someone a good president," said Monica.
"oh, and what exactly makes you so qualified?" asked Aidan.
"because my dad is a leader so that makes me a leader too," said Monica.
"oh please." said Lily rolling her eyes at Monica's answer along with Ingrid and Audrey.
"she can't be serious," said Audrey annoyed.
"yeah seriously," scoffed Ingrid.
"well, it takes more than money and a rich dad to make someone a good president too," said Aidan.
Lily, Audrey and Ingrid smirked.
"yeah you tell her Aidan," said Ingrid.
"and you think you could do better than me?" asked Monica.
"I know I can listen everyone vote for Monica if you want some rich entitled brat who couldn't care less about you or this school but if you want a president who cares about the school and actually wants to change things then vote for me," said Aidan.
The crowd was silent for a few minutes and Aidan got a little nervous but just then the crowd erupted in loud applause along with Lily, Audrey and Ingrid causing Aidan to smile as he saw Lily giving him a thumbs up.
Monica just scoffed at the crowd and walked off the auditorium stage and her minions got up from their seats and followed her.
"ok everyone cast your votes and the results will be announced Monday morning," said Principal Wilton.
On Monday Lily, Audrey, Ingrid and Aidan were walking down the hall waiting to hear the results of the election.
"well, this is it," said Lily.
"yep today's the day," said Audrey.
Ingrid saw Aidan looking a little on edge
"you ok Aidan?" asked Ingrid.
"yeah just a little nervous I guess," said Aidan.
Lily put her hand on Aidan to relax him.
"don't worry it'll be fine," she said.
"we'll see," said a voice.
Lily, Audrey, Ingrid and Aidan turned and saw Monica and her minions smirking behind them.
"you know I think you're the one who should be nervous Monica," said Lily with a smirk of her own.
"yeah Aidan was pretty popular during the debate," said Ingrid.
Monica rolled her eyes annoyed. Just then the PA came on.
"attention everyone this is Principal Wilton the votes have been counted and the results of the student council president election are in," said Principal Wilton's voice over the PA.
everyone in the hall listened with anticipation, Lily, Audrey, and Ingrid had their fingers crossed and Aidan started sweating.
"and the winner by a landslide is Aidan," said Principal Wilton.
Lily, Audrey and Ingrids eyes lit up and they cheered and high-fived while Aidan, Monica and her minions were in shock.
"what no way this is impossible!" Monica said shocked.
Lily, Audrey and Ingrid turned to Monica and Lily smugly smirked.
"well, Monica it's like we said daddy's money can't always get you everything," said Lily.
Monica's face turned red in rage and she walked off in a huff.
"I can't believe I lost, this is an outrage I demand a recount," she said furiously as she stormed off with Nancy and Erika following her.
Aidan was still staring into space in disbelief.
"wow I can't believe I won," said Aidan.
"of course, you won it's like you said you actually want to change things," said Audrey.
"yeah you deserve this way more than Monica," said Ingrid.
Aidan smiled at all the praise from his friends.
"thanks girls I couldn't have done this without you," he said.
Lily grabbed her phone and got ready to take a selfie with her friends.
"ok guys celebration photo," said Lily.
Lily, Audrey and Ingrid posed with Aidan and Lily took the photo and they all high-fived one more time.
