Author's note: This story aims to make Shadow of Mordor fit better into the Tolkien legendarium. As such, there will be no Celebrimbor, wraith powers, or recursive resuscitation from the dead beyond the initial death of Talion. This is my first fully fleshed out fan story, so please leave a comment but please refrain from attacking me for wanting to give these characters the careful story they deserve.
Note from EnigmaticWanderer77: This story is written by my brother, I have not written any part of the actual story. As stated above, in my brother's words, this is a Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War Fan story that aims to rewrite the events of the games to fit in with a more Tolkien legendarium aesthetic. I will not go into any specifics of what was changed, but in the broad scheme of things the changes go as follows: SOM events up to the Black captain mission are mostly unchanged, except, of course, there is NO Celebrimbor and any variation of the wraith powers in game. Gollum also is removed, as we have moved the events further back on the timeline to line up more or less with the Tolkien canon timeline. SOW is likely to have massive overall changes, but for the most part the locations will be relatively the same. For major characters of the game NOT being featured there is no SOW Shelob, just the canon Shelob, no Tor Goroth, or Carnan. Eltariel might be rewritten, but that is up to the author. Also, of the named/ unique Nazgul, only Suladan, the Witch-King, and Kamuel the Easterling will be featured. As a final statement, while Talion is still the Gravewalker, he does not die past his initial death until the betrayal of Bruz. Talion is surviving off of his Ranger skills, as well as an increased reliance on stealth and knowing his enemies' weaknesses. That is all I will say for the time being. Hope you enjoy.
