Averting Frostbite
Joint operations between Wildfire and the Silvermane Guards was not new.
Ever since the Underworld and Surface had been reconnected the two governing bodies had worked together to smooth out the transition, especially since the Underworld had less of a government and more a rag-tag group of leaders who kept the peace and stopped people from causing chaos. Likewise one way of doing that was joint operations, be it above or below ground.
Usually it was below ground for the most part, given the area needed the most work. The mines needed protecting, new spots needed surveying out for more ore whilst others needed exploring to make sure it was suitable for sustained life without being corrupted by the Fragmentum. Likewise there was always the threat of Vagrants or runaways trying to cause chaos, to say nothing of the Fragmentum monsters themselves that wreaked havoc if left unchecked.
All and all, it was a mutual exchange. The Underworld became more secure and the people of the above world got more ore for future-proofing, ensuring that if another disaster happened they'd be even better prepared for it.
For once though Seele found herself not in the mines sneaking in the shadows, but on the surface. The mission itself was pretty simple on paper – join a squad of Silvermane Guards as a hit-and-run expert, help clear out some Fragmentum and secure an abandoned post. Pretty straight forward as far as combat went and right up her alley, which she suspected was why Bronya gave her this job in particular.
Of course, in her eagerness to accept such a mission she forgot two important things.
One, the above world was cold.
And two, she didn't dress very warmly.
''Brr... fuck, how do you guys handle this shit?''
''By dressing warmly.'' Came the flat answer of Pela, the intelligence officer assigned to their squad.
Seele snorted, only to crinkle her nose and rub it a moment later, the cold air nippy as she breathed in. Around them a number of Silvermane Guards spread out, guns and spears equipped as they poked and prodded at the corpses of the dissolving Fragmentum monsters to ensure they were dead whilst one of the Lieutenants marched further ahead to look for more foes – he was almost as battle-hungry as Luka as it turns out, though he was equally as loyal to Gepard's commands.
The thought of the man lured Seele's eyes over to him discreetly. Clad in heavy armour and with his trusty shield by his side he stood like a beacon amongst the troops as he looked over a map, a soldier next to him pointing out areas of interest and earning murmurs of acknowledgement in return.
Frankly she wasn't sure what to think of him. First impressions told her he was a noble idiot – the sort to get himself killed to save another. Noble yes, but a waste of a strong fighter. However he had shown remarkable pragmatism thus far including sending back some soldiers in order to not stretch their supply lines too far, even if it reduced their overall strength. It didn't hurt that he was pretty handsome, though she'd roughed it out with the boys of the Underworld for long enough that a pretty face wasn't going to sway her opinion.
...even if he was a bit prettier than the likes of Luka or Oleg. That or she was just too used to seeing guys covered in soot and needing a shower.
Just then Gepard glanced her way, his blue eyes sharp and prompting Seele to look away. If he knew she was looking he didn't say anything, at least.
''So...'' Seele flipped her scythe around and looked at Pela. ''Where to next?''
''We just need to wait for Captain Gepard's orders. He shouldn't be much longer.'' Pela wasn't looking at her though – typing away on a tablet, writing a report of some kind. ''If you want to put yourself to work, then I'm sure nobody would complain if you did some scouting – just don't go too far, okay?''
''Sure, sounds good.'' Seele rolled her shoulders and marched forth.
The command post was an old thing abandoned at least for a few years – but in that time the Fragmentum had done considerable damage to it. Concrete structures were riddled with cracks that let the frigid air in and ruin any machinery, the electronics were shot from the distorted nature of the Fragmentum and snow had naturally piled up on every available surface – rooftops, in corners, on floors, even covering windows when the wind blew it sideways. What used to be a barracks had long since collapsed whilst the exterior walls of the base had mostly fallen apart, leaving just the occasional strip of frosted-over stone to guard nothing.
'Damn this place is depressing.' Seele mused internally as she hopped atop the wall, standing up tall and scanning the terrain ahead of her.
With a high mountain to their right and a sharp drop to the left the only real avenue of attack was from straight ahead – a long, curving slope of snow-covered stone that led out into a valley, apparently. She wasn't foolish enough to run down the path alone with how few supplies she carried on her but she had no qualms about strutting along the outpost wall. The sun still shone across the land but the clouds were beginning to obscure it again, another snowstorm starting to blow in with remarkable speed.
It was as she meandered about, however, that she spotted it. A mech.
'...what's an IPC mech doing all the way out here?' Her eyes narrowed.
It marched towards the base at a steady pace, flanked by a selection of IPC soldiers, though from this far away she couldn't pick up any individual insignia. She was almost about to run off to confront them when she remembered this wasn't a solo mission, and so with a sigh she stopped herself – one hand on her hip as she looked back at her companions.
''We've got company!'' She yelled, earning the attention of most the squad. ''IPC goons it looks like!''
''IPC?'' She heard one of the Silvermane Guards near her murmur, incredulous. ''What the hell are they doing this far out?''
''Ya think they found something and were trying to get it before us?'' Another answered, displeasure clear.
Murmurs broke out even as much of the squad rushed to her aid – the gunners taking cover behind the small sections of wall or poking their muskets over the edge, whilst those armed with spears took up a defensive position in front of said wall – shifting and squirming but standing their ground against the oncoming mech, which continued to march towards them unabashedly.
Gepard marched out to the front of the group and Seele joined him, keeping just a step behind him as he spoke up.
''HALT! You are in restricted territory, IPC. State your business immediately!''
No answer. The mech continued to march their way.
''Something isn't right.'' Gepard murmured to her without looking away – the last syllable barely escaping him before he raised his voice again; ''I repeat, this is restricted territory! State your business or we will treat you as hostile!''
A noise escaped the mech that sounded almost like mechanical failure – a deep, clanking groan of scraping metal. It made Seele's eyes narrow; said eyes drifting to the small contingent of guards following the main mech. Their masks hid their faces and they held their weapons at the ready even as they walked, their motions stiffened not by the cold.
But perhaps, by the crystalline growths jutting out of their armour.
''Fragment-''
Seele didn't get the chance to finish before the mech suddenly reared back – and bellowed a wordless, ethereal scream of rage. Without so much as a warning the mech went from lumbering to charging, its sprint building up over mere seconds until it was rushing them down like a mad bull.
The Silvermane Guards needed no orders – a unified hail of musket fire launched forth. All of it pinged off of the heavy armour of the IPC mech however, barely a scratch left on its frost-covered armour and certainly not slowing it down.
''Pela!'' Gepard barked.
''Right!'' Not a second later a tight beam of energy shot over their heads and pierced the armour – burning a hole into it and causing the creature to stumble.
Gepard was already moving, sprinting to meet the corrupted IPC mech and bellowing as he shield-bashed the fiend without hesitation. The sheer weight and momentum behind the bash practically halted its momentum, both of them rebounding away from one another until their boots skidded them to as top – and in a heartbeat they clashed, shield meeting rounded torso as they pressed against one another for dominance, like a pair of mountain rams locking horns.
Leaving the mech easy prey for Seele herself as she dashed past the Captain, her scythe slicing at the biceps armour – only to click her tongue when her scythe merely scraped a gouge through the steel but failed to cleave it off entirely. Nonetheless she flew with her momentum, a flip culling her momentum and a spin bringing her weapon around in a lethal slash, cutting one of the corrupted IPC guards in two.
The others around her shrieked in reply, their flat masks splitting open like maws to reveal mangled metal mouths – when one lost its head, courtesy of an energy blast. Grinning Seele mentally thanked Pela and lunged, kicking the headless corpse into its fellow and sending them both into the snow whilst she turned her attention onto another, side-stepping its spear and severing its arm with a retaliatory slice.
It howled in both pain and anger, stumbling back in a stilted, shambling manner – when with a flick of her wrist she brought her scythe to bear and cut her foe down. No blood wept from its wounds, the former human crystallised through-and-through, as if fully proving that they were nothing more than monsters at this point. Death was a mercy.
Now wasn't the time for sentimentality, however. A fact she was reminded of by a howling shriek as one of the guards tried to get her in the back, their spear missing by an inch as she tilted out of the way in time – bashing its head in return with the back of her scythe and following it up with a slash, severing its head. Her eyes instantly flitted onto the next target and she dashed forth, slashing through the humanoid before it even had time to raise its weapon – reducing the number of guards to zero.
Allowing her to focus on the IPC mech still fighting Gepard.
''Hng... though you are strong, you do not compare to the might of the Preservation!'' The Captain valiantly bellowed, pushing the beast back – before with a yell he slammed his fist down.
Fist met snow and from it clear blue ice spiked up in a massive fan – jagged edges spearing into the mech and even lifting it off of its feet for a moment. Alas the weight of the mech snapped the ice but the damage was done; a big chunk of the armour snapped from the sheer cold Gepard's ice could cause. Unfortunately for them though that didn't expose any vital weak spots, as any organs or soft tissue had long since been replaced by hardened crystal.
Seele clicked her tongue and dashed forth, the snow slowing her down only slightly as she built into a sprint – before with a quick application of her power she turned into butterflies. She closed the distance in a heartbeat, appearing above the IPC mech and slicing down for its head-
''Nn?!''
-only for it to raise its arm, blocking her attack. Another deep cut was carved into its heavy armour but its arm still wasn't severed – and when she looked down she swore the possessed mech looked just as surprised as she was, like she had run into its arm more than it had tried to block her.
''Talk about shitty timing.'' Seele cracked a tight grin.
''Quite.'' Gepard smiled back.
Whatever good humour existed faded as the mech roared – the sheer force generated knocking Seele back. With a flip she landed but had barely done so before she found the mech sprinting for her, moving with speed she didn't expect the mammoth of a mech to have – its one good arm slamming itself down towards her. She side-stepped it, ignoring the snow kicked up by the attack, but another slam came just as fast; the mechanical beast utterly ignoring the regular soldiers as it slammed both arms down at her one after another, forming a chain of attacks too heavy for her to block and too fast to retaliate against.
Good thing she wasn't alone though. With surprising stealth Gepard launched himself atop the IPC mech, fist cocked back and plunging down behind the neck of the machine-beast and causing clusters of ice to surge up, freezing its armour more than the Eternal Freeze did and rendering the armour more brittle, enabling him to punch a section of it to pieces.
No sooner had he done that did Seele feel something change.
She wasn't sure how. Maybe it was the way the IPC mech changed its posture in some subtle way. Maybe it was why it suddenly stopped rearing up its next attack. Or maybe it was just some kind of sixth sense – all she knew was that the mech bellowed again, throwing Gepard off with the shockwave and causing their surroundings to shake from the volume, its stomping feet only worsening the tremors around them – when it hunched forwards. From its back several pods opened and within them machinery ignited, propellant roaring-!
And a volley of rockets flew out.
Seele swore, tapping into her power and moving far faster than anyone else on Jarilo-VI could, the rockets practically moving in slow motion to her. She sliced through them as she went and felt the heat on her back, her boot touching the shoulder of the mech as she kicked herself off of it, slicing through one more rocket – when time resumed and the rockets erupted into belches of fire, shaking the mountain path with the force.
Shakes that in fact shook the entire mountain – snow and small chunks of ice landing in front of her. Understanding took only a moment to dawn and her eyes snapped up to the mountain besides them, only to see a growing cloud of white making its way down towards them, moving so fast it felt like she was watching the avalanche in high speed.
''Fall back!'' Gepard bellowed not to her, but to their companions. ''Miss Seele, there's an recess in the wall further ahead, we must reach it!''
''Right!'' She could – but could he?
As if to prove that thought wrong Gepard sprinted ahead, barely slowing to shield-bash the wounded IPC mech and send it stumbling aside, providing a clear path for her to blitz past. Though she wasn't as mobile in the snow as she'd like she still kept up with the armoured Captain easily, the rumbling of the avalanche growing louder and louder in her ears as larger chunks of snow fell around them-
When Gepard suddenly turned and dipped into a previously-unseen gap in the mountain. She followed just a step behind, snow hitting her shoulder and tempting her to look behind herself – catching just a glimpse of the IPC mech before a boulder clipped it, sending it tumbling over the edge of the path and down the cliff out of sight.
Right before another snow-covered boulder crashed right into the mouth of the tiny cave, a slew of snow and smaller rocks rapidly piling on top of it.
''Shit.'' Seele sucked cold air in through her teeth. ''What now? Any escape routes?''
''Unfortunately not.'' Gepard admitted with a grimace as he set his shield down, sighing. ''But between being trapped in here or blown away by the avalanche, this was the smarter option.''
''Fair enough.'' Seele mumbled and put her scythe away.
The recess wasn't big in the slightest. Stretching maybe ten feet deep at most and only around eight feet tall it was a vague diamond in shape and made entirely of stone. Snow covered the mouth of the recess but otherwise it was just cold stone with no roots to burn for heat, though her worries were eased when Gepard took out a small pocket of Geomarrow from his shield – setting them down and bashing the two orange rocks together. The impact activated the rocks and generated some heat – minor, but in an enclosed space the heat would be trapped and keep them from freezing.
''Storing them in your shield, eh? Neat trick.'' Seele complimented as she meandered closer, squatting down by the small amount of heat.
''Mm. I keep them there to prevent my shield from freezing up too much – Serval says it makes the metal too weak to handle strong foes like that mech back there.'' Gepard nodded lightly, though quickly grimaced. ''The avalanche should've dealt with it. If nothing else, that amount of snow and debris should keep it trapped for a while.''
''So what're we gonna do now? Wait until we're rescued?''
''That is indeed the best option.'' Gepard answered honestly, eyes drifting towards the snow-covered entrance. ''Pela will likely organise a search effort for us within a few minutes given the minimal casualties that our forces took – these sorts of incidents are not as rare as you might think. We shouldn't be in here for more than a few hours, especially once word reaches the engineering corps back at the main camp.''
''Noted.'' Seele sighed. ''So now, we wait.''
Gepard hummed and fell silent, eyes on the entrance and his mind doubtlessly turning. Seeing that Seele awkwardly folded the back of her dress down to protect her butt as she sat on the cold stone, keeping close to the Geomarrow as she just... waited.
Thoughts came and went easily. Replaying the battle and the corrupted IPC folks, musings on how annoying fighting in the snow was, a mental note to sharpen her scythe more when she got back to the Underworld – maybe she could even call in a favour from Bronya to get some high-quality stuff to improve the blade. It didn't take long for those thoughts to run dry though, and without a watch on her person it was impossible to tell if a minute had passed or mere seconds.
A problem that only became more apparent the longer she sat there. She didn't know Gepard super well but he was an alright guy from her estimations – a handsome if noble idiot, the brother of Serval Landau who had helped repair a bunch of stuff in the Underworld, and a pretty good fighter. Beyond that any information she had was the obvious stuff everyone who met him knew; high rank, nice guy with a commanding streak...
She was almost tempted to make conversation if only to break the stifling silence between them, but she wasn't exactly a conversationalist and she had a feeling he wasn't either. Exercise came to mind but like hell she was about to spontaneously start doing physical activity in front of him even with the chill creeping into her bones, though with the cramped interior there wasn't a whole lot of room to stretch out anyway.
Though the longer she sat there the more she became tempted by it. Chills numbed her ass so she shifted about to get the blood flowing again, her fingers growing stiff despite keeping them close to her chest – and not for the first time she found herself cursing her pride for refusing Bronya's spare jacket, given how fluffy the thing looked on the inside. Granted she refused mostly because it'd get in the way of a fight and if she had worn it while fighting that IPC mech the results might've been worse for her or her allies, but still. Warmth would be really appreciated right about now.
Warmth that, cruelly, began to wane as the Geomarrow steadily lost its glow.
''Tch...'' Gepard clicked his tongue. ''It appears that these did not have as much charge as I expected. My apologies.''
''H-Heh, it's fine.'' Seele answered, wincing at the stutter to her voice.
The response from the noble idiot was predictable. ''Are you alright?''
''P-Peachy.'' She stood up but that just exposed her legs more to the cold air; at least sitting kept her body heat closer. ''Just freezing my ass off, that's all.''
Gepard saw through her snark with embarrassing ease however, his frown stern. ''This is why it's important to dress for the weather, Miss Seele.''
''Lecture me later Captain.'' Seele grumbled, squatting to grasp the Geomarrow and feeling some lingering warmth in them, like pebbles left by the fire.
They offered her hands some modicum of warmth but it wasn't really much by this point; rapidly growing dimmer and leaving the recess illuminated only by a handful of cracks in the rock, the pale gloom allowing them to see but not much more than that. Movement though lured her eyes onto Gepard, befuddlement filling her as he shed his collar piece of armour, the heavy steel set down – and surprise filled her as he took off his thick jacket.
A surprise doubled as he wrapped it around her. ''H-Hey, what the heck-?!''
''You need it more than me.'' Gepard said simply, his stern gaze simultaneously flustering and irritating her.
''Last time I checked Captain, you're not immune to the cold either.'' Seele snarked.
''Perhaps. But my undershirt-'' he tugged on the black turtleneck he wore, ''-is still thicker than anything you're wearing. If nothing else, we'll decay heat at a similar rate, rather than one faster than the other.''
''Decay heat.'' Seele repeatedly flatly. ''Sounds like some of that technobabble Serval says.''
''Ah... is it?'' A light dusting of pink coloured his cheeks. ''Sorry, I meant-''
''I understood what you meant.'' She snorted, amusement twitching at the corner of her lip. ''Just meant it sounded funny the science-y way you said it.''
Gepard made a noise of understanding, looking rather flustered as he looked away. With only a sweater on she could appreciate his physique a lot more than she could with his thick jacket on – muscles naturally hidden but the transition of his waist up to his chest, his broad shoulders...
Warmth suddenly flooded her cheeks and she looked away, tugging his jacket closer to herself to keep warm. It helped a lot; the thick, woolly interior practically insulated her from the cold air around her and while she didn't zip it up just holding it close was enough to keep her warm. It also had the secondary effect of immersing her in Gepard scent – a hard to place, but rather pleasant smell that reminded her of the aftershave Oleg always used to use when she was younger. Faint but heady, if she was to put a name to it, but she never had great sense of smell so maybe she was just overthinking things.
Nonetheless it was rather pleasant. Not that she'd say such an embarrassing thing aloud, of course.
Her gaze though steadily worked its way back onto the Captain of the Silvermane Guards as he shifted, his discomfort apparent despite his generosity. Part of her wanted to immediately offer the jacket back – it was his after all – but she wasn't stupid enough to ignore that she'd freeze without it; it was her own pride and bad circumstances that brought them into this situation. Of course a compromise came to mind but the mere thought left her throat dry, flustered she was even considering it...
But when survival was priority, who cared about embarrassment? Better to never be able to look a guy in the eye again than be a corpse.
''Hah... c'mere, idiot. Better to share the heat between us.''
''Huh?'' Gepard seemed startled out of his thoughts, flustered. ''A-Are you sure?''
''Yeah yeah, c'mon over already.'' She shuffled closer to the wall so she was away from the wind and patted the spot next to her, the stone cold but marginally less so than elsewhere so far.
Gepard hesitated for a second but at her annoyed look he complied, sitting down with her. Despite the heat warming her cheeks Seele sat right next to him and draped his jacket over them both like a blanket. It wasn't as effective as when she wore it herself but at least it kept their body heat in... especially as she awkwardly pressed up against his side, his arm loosely wrapping around her side in order to keep them as close as humanly possible.
Which, coupled with the silence between them, made things incredibly awkward.
''...I don't suppose you've got any card games in that shield of yours to pass the time?''
Gepard chuckled sheepishly. ''Unfortunately not. Serval did insist I bring something to pass the time when in the Guards, but I have precious little free time to begin with.''
''You don't say.'' Seele mused. ''Guess you spend most of your time in offices doing work?''
''Haha, not really. Used to, but these days I'm more needed on the frontline than in a cushy office job. Closest I get to it is a command tent with a Geomarrow heater.'' Gepard wryly admitted – the conversation mercifully distracting the man from how close they were. ''I don't mind it though. I'm more useful out here and I can always leave any extra paperwork to Pela.''
''I'm gonna hedge a bet that you do that even when there isn't 'extra' paperwork.''
''Mm... well, the fight never ends after all. I'm sure she understands.''
Seele snorted, running her eyes across the ceiling and tracing the many cracks in the rock. ''How often does Bronya come to the frontline?''
''Prior to becoming Supreme Guardian? Quite often; she essentially did much of what I did. Following her promotion however she hasn't had the time – ruling Belobog takes up too much of her attention, and while she can make the time to visit us on the frontlines, it doesn't make logical sense for her to stand and fight with us, especially given that if something were to happen to her Belobog would have another crisis on its hands.''
''Fair enough.'' Seele mused, shrugging. ''Wonder if she misses the action?''
''She hasn't said as much, though she does get a certain look in her eyes.'' Gepard closed his as if to envision it better. ''I wouldn't say she misses it per se, but I imagine being a ruler is still new for her – she longs less for the battlefield, and more for something familiar.''
''Familiar, huh...'' Seele mused on that.
Gepard didn't let the silence linger for long. ''What about you? Eager to be back in the Underworld after this?''
''Heh, obviously. Much warmer down there, even out of town. What with it being underground and all.'' Seele answered absentmindedly. ''Speaking of which, how much longer we gotta wait?''
''I don't have a clock on me, but it's definitely not been that long since the battle concluded.'' Gepard answered with a sigh. ''I fear we'll be here for quite some time yet.''
Not good, considering she still felt cold – warmer than without him by her side but the last thing she wanted was to get frostbite in her feet, and the extremities were always the one that got it first. Physical activity would help but doing that without a jacket would just waste heat, and doing it with a jacket would expose him to the cold. The only real solution would be to do physical activity together, but that wasn't possible.
Or was it, a small part of her mind whispered – instantly bringing a blush to her cheeks. One that only darkened as she realised that it wasn't just an idea but a very plausible one. It wasn't as if the concept was foreign to Belobog after all; in the land of ice you did what you could to survive. Pride and embarrassment meant nothing if you were dead after all, and while she was confident she could survive, the last thing she wanted was to need prosthetics for all of her limbs.
Problem was, how the hell did she broach such a subject? The two of them were barely friends, let alone intimate with one another – even for survival you didn't just start unbuttoning pants and getting right to business. There was probably a ritual to it, a way of easing into it that she unfortunately was never told. Growing up in the Underworld meant you didn't really need to know that sort of thing; after all, it wasn't like any of them could venture to the surface and put themselves at dire risk.
''Hm? Is s-something on your mind?'' Gepard's voice stirred her out of her thoughts, as did the slight jitter to his voice – the cold creeping in through his sweater too, clearly.
''Maybe... just uh, thinking about how to heat up.'' Seele mumbled out, glancing up at him. ''I might have an idea...''
''Oh? Let's hear it then.''
Great, so he was going to make her say it. ''I uh...''
''..,hm? It's not like you to be shy with your words.'' Gepard's undivided attention was on her. ''It is just us here, do not worry about word getting out.''
''Well I was thinking to generated body heat, you and I could... y'know...'' Her face burned as she lifted her hands, forming a ring with one and thrusting a finger through the other.
Mercifully – mercifully – Gepard wasn't so thick as to make her spell it out any clearer than that. ''Oh... I see.''
Seele squirmed, her embarrassment only made more potent by the fact she was practically cuddling into his side already. ''So uh... good idea, bad idea?''
''...though I won't deny it's embarrassing, you do make a good point. Survival – and the ongoing well-being of ourselves – is of utmost important.'' The firm way he spoke almost sounded like he was talking himself into it, bringing a slight smile to her face. Good to know she wasn't the only one awkward about this.
Still her own lack of experience made her hesitate. With a firm swallow though she laid her right hand over his crotch, the tight material of his pants blindly stroked and making Gepard tense slightly, his shuddering exhale weirdly arousing. It emboldened her to touch more, if nothing else, her fingers pressing his tight pants in and allowing her to feel a steady hardness form beneath – rising and pushing back against her fingers almost.
Pointedly ignoring her burning blush Seele toyed with the zipper of his pants, tugging it down after a moment and allowing her hand to slip inside. It wasn't hard to find the front of his boxers and she loosened the front button with ease, allowing her hand to grasp his hardening cock. It was bigger than she expected and only becoming moreso; the warm girth making her stomach tie itself into knots as she awkwardly stroked it.
''Hey uh... I'm doing this right, right?'' Seele awkwardly asked.
''Yeah...'' Gepard murmured in return, his hand landing on her hip.
A shiver danced up Seele's spine as his hand slid along her waist until he was fiddling with the buttons of her shorts. She didn't stop him, her heart pounding in her chest even as his fingers dipped into her clothes, the waistband of her panties tugged briefly before his fingers slipped under them. The coldness of his digits almost made her gasp but she held the reaction back; pursing her lips and groaning as his cold fingers ran along her slit, his touch equally as inexperienced but earnest nonetheless.
The only mercy was that he had the foresight to remove his metal gauntlet beforehand, sparing her the chill of his metal glove, though his hand itself wasn't much warmer. She paid him back with her own hand and stroked his cock with growing confidence, the motion slightly stiff but his cock stiffer – enticing her to run her thumb over the tip. The little motion drew a soft grunt out of Gepard and encouraged Seele to do it again, her motions becoming more confident by the moment as she worked his shaft with one hand.
''Myn... yeah, like that...'' All whilst his own fingers stroked her sex, her teeth sinking into her bottom lip as his thick digits teased her entrance. ''Just in there, like- mm, ah...''
While inexperienced he wasn't an idiot, clearly – a soft groan fleeing Seele's lips as his fingers sunk into her sex. His thrusts were stilted and unsure but with a few whispered instructions he got the hang of it, his digits opening her up more than her own could and sending jolts of excitement up her spine – her breath fogging up in front of her as she exhaled. She didn't mind the chill as much now though, her mind more on the hard cock in her hand as she stroked it, almost tempted to spit on her hand to lube it had they not been in subzero temperatures.
Instead she worked with what she had, kneading his manhood and feeling it twitch and throb against her hand. The heat coming off of it alone was enough to warm up her hand but she didn't stop rolling her wrist regardless; nor did Gepard stop his fingers as they delved into her core, his thick digits chilly against her insides but making her groan all the same as he rubbed about, his clumsiness quite quickly being replaced with skill, as if figuring out where it felt good for her.
'Fuck, I'm getting wet from this.' Seele bit her bottom lip and clutched onto his jacket with her free hand, keeping it close to their bodies.
The 'physical activity' was doing its job, but any prospect of stopping now was foolish; any heat would dissipate quickly. The thought only emboldened Seele, her thumb sliding over the thick tip of his cock and wondering if it would fit inside of her. Her stomach fluttered at the idea – she didn't give a crap about the whole 'first time' stuff but she'd rather avoid embarrassing herself if she could avoid it, and the idea of screwing something up lingered in the back of her mind. As did the idea of having something like that inside of her.
Such lewd thoughts only fuelled her growing arousal, her lips pursing but not stifling the soft groan that fled her throat. Despite her pride she found herself rocking her hips a bit, just enough to get herself deeper on his fingers – and she gasped as he shoved them in knuckle-deep. He looked at her but she quickly shook her head, assuring she was fine, though it was impossible to speak as he scissored his fingers about inside of her and left her moaning.
''Hng... let's just do it already...'' Seele puffed out – shivering when his fingers pulled out of her.
Gepard murmured an agreement, too flustered to look her in the eyes even as she straddled him. Seele was privately grateful for that, giving some meagre privacy as she shoved her short-shorts off and left them around one knee while her other hand tugged her leotard to the side, exposing her crotch to the frigid air. She didn't bask in the cold for more than second, however; before she grasped his erect manhood and rubbed herself against his bulbous tip, her heart in her throat as she felt him graze her entrance.
When with a deep breath she banished her irritating shyness, and lowered herself onto his cock. The tip speared in and she flinched as he took her first time, but it wasn't nearly as painful as she anticipated it being – more of a flick of pain that became an ache a second later. The lack of pain lessened her hesitation and unconsciously Seele took Gepard in deeper, her breathing growing laboured as she felt him open her up inch by inch until she had over half of it inside of herself.
''Myn... big dick ya got there...'' Seele muttered to break the silence, biting her bottom like. ''Fuck, nn...''
Settling her hands on his shoulders Seele awkwardly leaned against him, face burning hot but not stopping her from lifting herself up – and as one they moaned as she impaled herself back down onto him. His thickness stretched her open and left her melting from the carnal relief aching through her muscles, her thoughts turning less towards survival and more towards raunchier notions – notions hard to ignore as she slowly rode Gepard's cock and gradually took him in deeper and deeper.
Their closeness also allowed her to see the minute changes in his expression. The tightness as he tried and failed to hold back a moan. The pursing of lips that preluded a shudder of pleasure. The hot grunts that escaped his throat when she clenched around him. All little details that just fuelled her own arousal and encouraged Seele to ride him a bit faster, excitement stirring about her stomach as she accepted his girth deep inside of her.
''Hah, you like that?'' Seele breathed against his ear. ''I feel good, right? Right?''
''You do.'' Though his tone was restrained the huskiness made something in her quiver. ''You are... very warm.''
It was probably meant in a practical way, but with him nearly balls-deep inside of her it made her face burn scarlet. Her embarrassment didn't distract her from their union, however; pleasure tingling up her loins and coaxing her into working her hips faster, the little wet noises of him sinking into her embarrassingly loud in that moment – the sound echoing off of the walls as she impaled herself onto his dick, her moans becoming harder and harder to hold back.
When on a whim she leaned back upright and reached back, clutching onto his jacket. ''I-I'll hold onto it for a bit.''
The invitation was unsaid but Gepard understood, his eyes meeting hers as if double-checking she was fine with it – the overabundance of concern making her sigh exasperatedly. Yet before she could utter some encouragement the Silvermane Captain grabbed her hips, his hands feeling all the bigger when he was holding her. His hips bucked up and she gasped as he speared in deeper, practically filling her up and aided when he pulled her hips down, his length slotting up into her and fucking the air from her lungs.
''Shit, yes...!'' Seele gasped out, her back arching as his thick rod filled her up. ''Gep- nn!''
She pushed herself against him without relinquishing her grasp on the jacket, leaning against him and groaning into his ear as she kept impaling herself down onto him – jerking up only for him to yank her back down, burying his cock inside of her. The friction against her insides sent sparks through her mind and deprived her of breath, her lungs barely refilled before she gasped them empty once more, unable to even think straight as he hit all the right places.
Familiar heat welled within her as her stomach drew taut, the constant hits making her thighs tense and her mind go blank. It felt far better than her own fingers ever could be and in spite of her reasons for doing this she couldn't help but succumb to the pleasure, her breathing increasingly ragged as she jammed herself onto his cock, feeling it twitch and throb up against her deepest parts, pushing her to the edge-!
''Shit!''
When Seele came, hard. Euphoria seized her muscles up and in a feverish state of mind she grinded herself onto his cock, bucking her hips as he did the same. She could feel him throb inside of her, twitching as she tensed – and a weak moan lurched from her throat as a sudden spurt of seed shot inside of her, his cum hot against her insides and soon joined by multiple more lengthy spurts that made a total mess of her insides, her feverish grinding only serving to milk him dry.
''Fuck, oh fuck...!'' Seele whimpered out, pleasure seizing up her spine and escaping in the form of laboured moan – her hands clutching onto his shoulders and leaving him to hold onto the jacket. ''Fuck me...''
''I uh... I think I already did.''
The breathless, slightly-uncertain tone caught her off guard – eliciting a sudden spit of laughter from the tomboy. Gepard clearly didn't know to respond judging by his more awkward chuckle but she didn't care – this whole situation was so stupid she couldn't help but snicker at the unintentional joke.
With some effort Seele got her laughter under control, adrenaline still jittering across her skin. ''Heh, y'know you're not bad, Cap'n.''
''Nor as you, Miss Seele.''
She rolled her eyes at that. ''Oh please, drop the 'Miss' crap, we just fucked.''
''Ah... good point.''
How he could simultaneously be a firm commander of Belobog's main fighting force, yet so easily flustered and confused was rather endearing, though she kept that charm point to herself.
''Mm...'' A shiver danced up her spine as she raised her hips; swearing softly as his large cock slid out of her. ''Dang you're still hard? Ain't you supposed to go soft?''
Gepard made a noise of understanding but didn't divulge said wisdom, though Seele joined the dots easily enough. It brought some warmth to her cheeks but with pleasure still tingling across her skin and her heart pounding a million miles a minute... the decision was an easy one to make.
''Hey, wanna do it again?'' The offer came out quieter than she intended, but she pressed on regardless. ''Gotta keep warm and we're gonna be stuck in here for a while longer, right?''
''Y-Yes, I suppose you're right.'' The Captain nodded hurriedly.
Cracking a grin Seele looped her arms around his nape and pulled him with her, awkwardly easing them both onto the floor without losing too much warm air – a task they probably failed at but she ignored that aspect. Something easily done as she laid her back against the cold stone, her outfit shielding her somewhat from the chill and doubly so as Gepard laid himself on top of her, her legs opening for him and leaving nothing to stop his large cock from pressing against her slick lips.
Reaching up Seele held onto the jacket for him, keeping it over them like a crude blanket – it left their legs exposed but it would be fine for a short bit, what with how warm they were. A thought pushed aside as Gepard's tip touched her entrance, pressing – and she bit her bottom lip as she speared into her once more. She kept her mouth shut for only a precious few seconds before the euphoria coaxed a deep groan out from her throat, her back arching and he so easily filled her up to the brim.
Right before pulling back, tip nearly slipping out – only to slam right back into her. The roughness hit just the right spot and made Seele cry out in pleasure, her thighs pressing up against his hips even as the buff guardsman pumped himself into her with more confidence than he had earlier, his tempo gaining rhythm and his thrusts becoming stronger – soon hilting himself in her and hitting a sweet spot that made her spasm each time as tingling need surged through her.
''Fuck, right there...!'' Seele gasped out, locking her legs around him.
Gepard grunted in reply, his cock twitching inside of her right before he slammed into her once more – his large girth stretching her open and setting her nerves alight. Any attempt at dirty talk was cast aside, any thought of sensuality was ignored, any response was rendered moot; leaving Seele gasping in bliss as the guardsman rutted into her, his cock hitting just the right spots to make her see stars and clutch onto his jacket for dear life.
The height difference between them was enough that she was practically in his shoulder too, face tickled by the fluff of his sweater and unintentionally warming her up even more, his body pressing down against hers more than once as they stayed close for warmth. A warmth that only amplified the tingling across her skin and the fullness inside of her – depriving her of reason as she lost herself in the undulating thrusts.
''Hah, haah, fuck, fuck...!'' Curses were easy to get out between breaths, her expression twisting as ecstasy quivered up her stomach. ''Oh shit, don't stop...''
Gepard merely made a noise of agreement, and when she looked up at him she realised he was looking at her – prompting her to avert her eyes. Yet she could hardly focus on that with him filling her up, the previous creampie only making it feel weirder yet more intense, their mixed fluids audibly squelching and some oozing out, as if making room for the next load he was going to bust in her. A perverse thought but one that refused to leave Seele's mind even as his pound threatened to blank her mind, the cold air brushing her ankles the only thing keeping her grounded and her grip on his jacket firm.
''Seele, I...!'' Gepard grunted out then, wrapping one arm around her and pulling her head into his shoulder. ''I'm almost...!''
Anticipation soared through her and amplified the intensity of his thrusts, pleasure like lightning as if danced across her skin and jolted gasps free from her throat – his cock burying itself deep inside of her over and over again, pounding the breath out of her and leaving her clutching onto him for dear life. Her climax neared beat by beat, the lurid smacks of flesh ringing out alongside the sticky squelches of his shaft penetrating her, the noises pushing her towards her inevitable high-!
''Hng!''
When Gepard came inside of her, tip kissing her innermost parts right before emptying his balls inside of her – a torrent of heat pouring into her and pushing Seele to climax. Her mind went white and all she could do was press his jacket down against his back; convulsing as waves of hot, muscle-seizing pleasure jerked up her back and through her shoulders, her eyes screwing shut from the involuntary rush.
'Fuck, holy shit, holy... oh god...' Seele would've bit down if there wasn't a fluffy sweater in the way. ''Oh shit, mmn... dude...''
Gepard didn't reply, too busy coming down from his own high to do so. Seele didn't mind though and just loosened her hold on him, her arms shaking in the afterglow – a similar quake travelling through her whole body when he pulled out, leaning over her as they both caught their breath.
''Guess it worked, huh...'' Breathlessly Seele uttered, pulling her legs in a bit more to keep them warm.
''In... Indeed.'' Was Gepard's reply.
Seele reached down and tugged her leotard back into place, her shorts similarly coming tugged up her ass – unintentionally reminding her of the load he'd just busted in her... but well, she'd worry about it later.
For now though, she just wanted to bask in this warmth a little longer, and hopefully be rescued before things could become awkward again.
...though if they needed to romp one more time to heat up, she wouldn't mind.
