Velma was reading a book mystery Inc had split up for some time Shaggy scooby and scrappy went off on their own
" hi Velma!" Madelyn says coming in scaring her.
Velma nearly jumped out of her chair, clutching her book tightly. "Madelyn!" she huffed, adjusting her glasses. "You scared me half to death!"
Madelyn giggled, setting her bag down. "Sorry, I couldn't help it. You were so focused! What are you reading?"
Velma sighed, placing a bookmark in her novel. "Just a classic mystery. Helps keep my mind sharp."
Madelyn sat beside her sister, tilting her head. "Any news from the gang?"
Velma hesitated for a moment, then shook her head. "Not really… Fred and Daphne are doing their own thing. And Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy? Who knows where they are now."
Madelyn frowned. "That must feel weird. You guys were always together."
Velma adjusted her glasses. "Yeah… it does."
Madelyn studied her sister for a moment before smiling. "Well, maybe it's time for a new mystery—just us Dinkley girls?"
Velma raised an eyebrow. "You want to solve a mystery with me?"
Madelyn grinned. "Why not? We've got the brains, and I promise not to scare you… too much."
Velma rolled her eyes but couldn't help the small smile forming. "Alright, but no jumping out at me again."
Madelyn crossed her fingers behind her back. "Of course, Velma."
Velma sighed, already regretting her decision. "This is going to be interesting."
Meanwhile Shaggy, Scooby and Scrappy rush away from a dragon as it corned them as Shaggy and Scooby scream as Scrappy walks up. " ok buster prepare to splat" Scrappy says before Lucy loud and Wednesday arrive.
" I've got a better idea" Wednesday says holding a clock attached to a rope and uses it to hypnotize the dragon.
The dragon's glowing eyes followed the swinging clock as Wednesday's monotone voice filled the air. "You are getting sleepy… very sleepy…"
Shaggy and Scooby clung to each other, trembling. "L-Like, is this really gonna work?" Shaggy stammered.
Scrappy, however, was unfazed. "Yeah, yeah, let me at 'im! I can handle this oversized lizard myself!"
Before he could charge, Lucy Loud placed a hand on his shoulder. "Let's give Wednesday a shot first. If it doesn't work, you can go full Scrappy-mode."
The dragon's eyelids began to droop, its body swaying slightly. Then, with a deep yawn, it collapsed onto the ground with a loud thud, fast asleep.
"Whoa!" Shaggy's jaw dropped. "That actually worked?"
Wednesday nodded, putting away the clock. "Of course. Hypnosis is a powerful tool when used correctly."
Lucy grinned. "That was awesome! Now what do we do with it?"
Scooby gulped. "L-Let's g-get out of here before it wakes up!"
Scrappy, still itching for a fight, crossed his arms. "Aw, I was just gettin' warmed up!"
Wednesday smirked slightly. "Don't worry. I'm sure there will be plenty of other… creatures to deal with."
Shaggy sighed, relieved yet wary. "Like, I dunno if that's a good thing or a bad thing…"
Lucy chuckled. "Guess we'll find out."
As the dragon snored peacefully behind them, the group quickly made their escape, ready for whatever bizarre adventure came next.
