a shrill piercing beep could be heard in the living room as a purple dressed girl adjusted her megaphone. She took a deep breath and aimed it at her target
"WAKE UP ALREADY! WAKE UP! THE BENCH IS NOT YOUR BED WAKE UP ALREADY!" Bernadette shouted into the megaphone. All the sisters in the living room nearly tumbled over upon hearing the loud noises from the self-proclaimed "Loudest sister" in the house. Yet despite all the noise...
"Zzzz..."
"Ugh. How can she sleep through all of this?!" Bertha asked. The sporty girl constantly finding herself impressed yet annoyed at how lazy the Red haired sleeper could be.
"I find it somewhat inspiring. Maybe i can make a painting out of this." Bianca declared as she prepared to whip out a canvas. Bethany quickly stopped her.
"Drawing a sleeping sister is not on our to-do list today. Focus on the task at hand!" She said. All 24 sisters looked at the sleeper. They didn't know how, but Beth always seemed tired and was constantly sleeping. Even Beatrice seemed to have trouble figuring out why. The genius suspected it might be a very extreme form of narcolepsy but she hadn't done enough research to come to a solid conclusion yet.
"Oh my gosh. WAKE UP ALREADY! YOU'VE BEEN SLEEPING ALL DAY!" Brenda angrily declared as she violently shook her sibling.
"Brenda, Hun! Stop shaking her like that!" Beverly shouted as she pulled the short-tempered sister away from Beth.
"Zzzz...Warren...where...zzz" Beth mouthed.
"Oi. Anyone else notice she's been muttering our brother's name a lot as of late?" Bippa's accent caught the attention of everyone.
"Her aura and his have been noticeably in sync in recent times." Bodhi whispered in a meditative pose.
"Hey guys! I'm back!" A male voice shouted from the hallway. The sisters turned to the entrance. Their only brother entered the room. His white hair waving with each step. donning his usual lavender polo, he stopped when he saw his sisters looking noticeably irritated. he dropped his bag of comic books and approached the sofa.
"What's going on here?" Warren asked. though he wouldn't have to wait long to find an answer as his eyes landed on his sleeping sister.
"Bippa is like, totes in dreamland right now." Blair said.
"When is she not?!" Brenda remarked with irritation.
"Well, someone better get her off that bench! Dreamboat is gonna start soon and i will not sit on the ground just cause our sister is being lazy!" Betty said as she pointed her stick at the sleeper.
"Oh god. What if she isn't asleep? what is she is unconscious. WHAT IF SHE'S DEAD?! WHAT IF HEART STOPPED AND WE JUST HAVEN-" Brooke began spiraling. Before her manic tirade could continue any further however, Warren grabbed her by the shoulders and began massaging her. calming her down. He then focused his attention back to Beth, who despite all the commotion, was still soundly asleep. Warren decided to do the one thing he could come up with. He shoved one hand under her back and another under her thighs. Then he slowly lifted her up and carried her away from the Sofa.
"Where are you going, Warren?" Brandy asked.
"Taking her back to her room." Warren answered. approaching the stairs as his sisters starred.
"That doesn't solve anything! She's supposed to be awake right now!" Betty shouted.
"If you guys have any other ideas, i'm all ears." Warren responded. Everyone remained quiet. Warren didn't wait any longer for an answer. He made his way upstairs and traversed the upstairs hallways. To Warrens surprise, Beth began shifting a little.
"Beth? are you awake." Warren asked. Beth didn't respond. instead, she lifted her arms and warped them around Warren's body. Warren blushed but didn't react any further. he opened the door and gently laid her down on her bed.
"Warren..." Beth muttered in her sleep. Warren chuckled. must be a dream. He turned around and was about to walk out. he stopped when he felt someone grab his hand. he turned around and saw Beth gripping his hand tightly.
"Warren...come..." She muttered. Warren raised an eyebrow. Was she awake? or was she dreaming. he tried to let go, but she seemed to have a tight grip.
"Stay...Warren.." She muttered. Warren could feel her grip tightening. he kept trying to pry his hand free, but no luck. He blushed as it began to sink in what she wanted. He kept telling her they were to old to do this, but it seems like she wouldn't have it. With a sigh of defeat, he lifted the covers and tucked himself in the bed with her. He looked at her face. her eyes were still closed and he could hear the sound of her snoring. Warren turned his back towards her and looked at his watch. Maybe if he waited a few minutes, she would be fully asleep and he could sneak out of there.
That plan came to a slight halt when he felt something soft press against him. He blushed as he felt Beth warp her arms around him. Warren tried to turn, But Beth seemed to tighten her grip around him. Warren shook his head.
"Just a few minutes..."
...
More than "a few minutes had passed" and Warren's eyelids began to feel heavy. And no matter how hard he tried, it wasn't long before he himself ended up falling asleep. Beth shifted and finally opened her eyes. She lifted herself slightly off her pillow and looked down. a smile slowly appearing on her face as she saw the sleeping face of her beloved brother. She inched closer and pecked him on the cheek. She then warped her arms around him. almost as if he was the worlds biggest teddy bear to hear.
"Sweet dreams, Warren." She told her sleeping brother. And like always. Even though she slept plenty, She soon began falling asleep once more. this time in the comfort of her brother.
I've always wanted to see more stories involving the sisters from "White Hare". But there's shockingly little of that. So i decided "Okay, Guess i'll do it myself". Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this part.
