Sophie Foster was relaxing on the ground, feeding Luna and Wynn swizzlespice. Behind her, someone was yelling her name.
"Sophie!" They shouted, "Sophie, something really weird happened!"
She sighed. This must have been the 80,000th time something weird happened to her. "Keefe, this is like the second time this month something really weird happened to us. What is it now?"
"Some HUMANS rode HERE on a BRONZE DRAGON and are at EVERGLEN right NOW!"
"Wow, I didn't know you could be so calm and emotionless," She stood up and brushed alicorn hair off of her tunic. The little animals were absolutely adorable, but whenever it got hot, the moment you touched them you would be 90% alicorn fluff. "Let's go!"
Keefe looked like he might laugh for a second, but the next moment he had pulled out a leaping crystal and they were suddenly outside Everglen.
Biana came running out with a confused and frantic look on her face. "Come on. they're in the living room."
They started off at a brisk pace, fast, but not running. They reached the big house within moments, Biana was explaining everything to Sophie as they walked/ran.
"They, two boys and two girls, came down from the sky on a huge dragon! But it wasn't even alive! It was bronze. I don't think humans are that advanced, right? Well anyway, they're obviously human because they keep saying the same english words over and over. Fitz and Dad are translating. This is so weird, how, what, who, why, and really? Now? Ahhhhhhhh!"
Sophie was still struggling to fit all of that information into her brain at once, when they reached the door to the room.
