Carl Reed had always spent his holidays celebrating with his parents, but this year, Christmas was bound to be different.

The winter break was a time that many of the staff members at Shermer High looked forward to. As for Richard Vernon, he wanted to get through the Shermer Christmas party and enjoy the break in the comfort of his home accompanied by his wife.

There were people in the world that didn't have everything that Claire Standish had. She saw that through John Bender's world, especially when she met a family member that she never knew he had on the eve of Christmas.

Family, in a cozy home with a fireplace, was more than enough for Brian Johnson to enjoy the spirit of the holidays.

The optimist and romantic and dreamer in her wants to say yes, to feel both of his hands tucked against her neck as he whispers his favorite color. The optimist in her also happens to be a total reject horn-dog, so Alison often finds herself shoving her away to make space for reality, to not be so damn crazy all the time. Because, really, Alison feels like the craziest of them all.

The holiday season was a time to feel joyous but this was an emotion that Allison Reynolds rarely felt. Nine months after that fateful Saturday detention, Allison didn't expect for this holiday season to be different.

The Breakfast Club is an exploration of identity, among other things that I will make apparent. This story will have an alternate history from the movie. I will try to redeem some of my perceived problematic elements of the movie while quenching any thirst for the question everyone has asked. How would 'The Breakfast Club' interact with each other when they meet again on Monday?
