"...Ugh... what's going on... I feel terrible..."
The sound of cars zipping was heard in the distance, followed by the sounds of cheering and items being used.
"...Wha... what am I feeling...?"
Yoshi groaned in great pain as he shook his head, opening his eyes as he looked around, wondering what the hell was going on as the green dinosaur felt like something had just struck him greatly, his visuals still being very blurry as he couldn't make out anything due to the vibrant colors meshing with each other, which frankly would be enough to make anyone barf. "Oy... my head... what just happened?" He asked as he rubbed the back of his head with his right hand, glancing down to see that he was sitting in his own light green colored pipe framed kart, the visions starting to get better as he noticed that he was on a colorful road. "It feels like everything suddenly got retconned, and all the events that happened are suddenly coming back to me, as if my life was flashing before my eyes..."
Yoshi, however, didn't have much time to question this as Pink Gold Peach pushed him off the road, of which was Rainbow Road, of which happened to be the new, Mario Kart 8 version of the infamous Nintendo 64 Rainbow Road. Yoshi was summoned back, grabbing the Blue Shell he had and chucking it right at Pink Gold Peach, causing her to be sent sky high in the night, starry sky as Yoshi took back first place, with him and the other racers all being in pipe framed karts. Going into the final stretch, Yoshi glided his way to victory as he cheered, pumping his fists in the air as Pink Gold Peach growled in disgust.
"Damn it! I can't believe I lost to that fleshy lizard!" Pink Gold Peach hissed as she threw a fit, losing to the likes of Toadette, Baby Daisy, and Wendy O' Koopa.
"She should really learn to calm herself," Toadette remarked to Wendy as she snickered.
Wendy scoffed as she rolled her right hand around, adjusting her pink bow with her left hand. "Oh, you know how pallet swaps get. They just never learn." She replied.
"I made a poopie!" Baby Daisy farted loudly simultaneously with her exclamation while giggling as she bounced about in her kart, letting out more huge farts.
Toadette and Wendy glanced at each other as they left Pink Gold Peach to bitch about and Baby Daisy to mess her diaper while deciding to join up with the victorious Yoshi. As the racers all got out of their karts, Yoshi was rewarded the MK8 Lightning Cup trophy, although he placed his left hand on his head as he shook his head.
"Maybe I need to take a break, or something, but I need to sit down..." Yoshi stated as he shook his head. "In any case, I'm going back to Dinosaur Land and talk to the doc. Maybe things will be more clearer then..."
"Yoshi, are you okay?" Toadette asked as she ran up to Yoshi, holding her hands together as she was very concerned.
Yoshi sighed as he patted Toadette on the head with his right hand, smiling as he lowered his eyes. "Don't worry, kiddo, I just need to take a breather or so. I'm fine..." He coughed as he shook his head, hoping into his green pipe framed kart and zipping off.
Pink Gold Peach farted loudly in disgust as she was still peeved off, with Baby Daisy farting louder than here as they began to have a fart off, with Toadette watching in awe while Wendy yawned and left to get some Wendy's for herself. But we're not here to talk about the literally shitty clones. We're here to focus on the tale of a green reptile who likes racing in karts, so in turn...
...Later on at Yoshi's Island, Yoshi was back at his quaint little house as seen in Super Mario World, noticing that Doctor Harryhausen Howard Hoshi was present, although he looked less like Yoshi and more like a proper dinosaur.
"Errr... doc?" Yoshi remarked as he drove in his green colored, pipe framed kart, still having the Lightning trophy in his hands. "Are you all right?"
Dr. Hoshi sighed as he turned around to face Yoshi, adjusting his clear glasses as he moved his purple hands around. "Yoshi, mah boi, you are aware of what just occurred while you were racing up in Rainbow Road, were you not?"
Yoshi rubbed the back of his head with his left hand as he nodded. "Yeah... something about a previous world that we were in was suddenly brought back into my memory. Did it happen to you too, doc?"
"...Yes, it did, and apparently I was formerly a Yoshisaurus just like you." Dr. Hoshi stated as he placed his hands on Yoshi's shoulder. "I was looking into the possibilities of other alternate histories upon having been tasked with this realization, and let's just say... that the results aren't what you would expect."
Before Yoshi could comment on Dr. Hoshi's discovery, it was suddenly that Master Hand appeared in front of the two dinosaurs, moving his fingertips as he approached them.
"There you two are," Master Hand started as he loomed over Yoshi and Dr. Hoshi. "I have sensed a strange occurrence, and it has caused me to search for the two with the closest links to the previous, now retconned world. I'm afraid you are going to have to come with me."
Yoshi and Dr. Hoshi eyed each other suspiciously as they were then teleported alongside Master Hand, all three disappearing from the spot as Baby Mario appeared in his small, yellow colored Wiggler bike, looking around for Yoshi.
"Hey! Where did Yoshi go?" Baby Mario asked as he placed his hands on his hips, shaking his head in disbelief as he genuinely wanted to know what exactly was going on. "I wanted to congratulate him on the race!"
