"Will you look at that?" Master Hand stated as he faced the others. "It only took nine years for the author to actually get this thing into tip top shape!"
Yoshi rolled his eyes as he had his hands on his face. "I can only hope that he actually updates this story beyond this dumb anniversary..."
Dr. Hoshi nodded his head in agreement as he had his arms folded together. "Right. We'll be lucky if he actually does something huge for this."
"Probably more likely to do something for the tenth anniversary of his time on fanfiction." Dry Bowser remarked as he had his skeletal arms crossed, having been teleported to the rooftop of the Super Smash Bros Mansion alongside Toadette and Petey Piranha.
Toadette yawned as she moved her hands around. "All right, enough fourth wall breaking. Why were we brought here again?"
"Yeah." Petey Piranha added as he stretched his body.
"Oh. Right." Master Hand stated as he cleared his throat. "Because with you guys brought together, I now officially have Yoshi Kart rebooted and back into action!"
Silence as thunder began booming in the background.
"...That's the reason you brought us here." Dry Bowser dully stated as he squinted his eyes, placing them on his hips. "For a fucking race."
"...Yeah. Basically." Master Hand stated as he began rewinding the VHS tape, pointing at the three characters he summoned. "Anyway, you need to go through the same dance that I gave the two dinosaurs before you, so hear me out."
SEVERAL LONG MINUTES OF EXPOSITION LATER...
"...And that's why I brought you here." Master Hand stated as he then snapped his fingers, summoning several pipe framed karts. "In fact, to get the racing action rolling so that this story doesn't end up as stale as it did before, you all are gonna follow me to a particular point away from here. That'll lead to a warp portal."
More awkward silence as the others all looked at Master Hand.
"...That I just created. Right now." Master Hand remarked with a snap of his fingers as he then teleported towards the northern direction. "Just like that."
The five characters looked at each other as they all folded their arms together.
"Well, at least he's willing to let some racing action occur." Yoshi commented as he jumped into the bright green colored pipe framed kart, taking off as he jumped off the rooftop and landing on the smooth green grass, zipping after Master Hand.
"That is a good point. Let's go." Dr. Hoshi added as he got into the purple pipe framed kart and zipped off the mansion's rooftop.
Looking at each other, the remaining three characters sighed as they got into the three remaining pipe framed karts, Toadette's pipe framed kart colored pink, Dry Bowser's kart colored gray, and Petey Piranha's colored dark green with some red on the front and yellow in the back, all of them following Dr. Hoshi, who followed Yoshi, who in turn followed Master Hand as it began to rain lightly, with lightning flashing in the dark stormy clouds that formed over the course of Master Hand's explanation.
"Do you think the plotline for this new retconned part of the story is going to get much attention?" Toadette asked Dry Bowser as they jumped over the bumpy grassy hills surrounding the Smash Mansion.
Dry Bowser scoffed as he rolled his beedy orange eyes. "I highly doubt it." He responded.
