Yoshi, Dr. Hoshi, Dry Bowser, Toadette, and Petey Piranha were all racing in different colored pipe framed karts as they were following Master Hand, who was using this as a way to experiment with how races would go as he summoned several weird mechanical platforms with anti gravity sections, as well as placing up ramps with and without gliding pads, plus summoning an entire pool of salty water as he was willing to see how the mechanics of Mario Kart would handle for the races he was to hold in order to bring back balance to the world of which he and the others were in...
...and that's way to much exposition. Racing action, ho!
"Well look at it this way." Yoshi stated as he turned his head back to the others. "At least this is actual racing, even if it doesn't really feel like one!"
Dry Bowser rolled his eyes as he began to pass Yoshi due to being a heavyweight, and thus having the advantage of having top speed. "Yeah, but it still doesn't feel like an actual race. More like a prep up for things to come."
"You can say that again!" Petey stated in Gilbert Gottfried's voice in agreement with Dry Bowser as he moved his big green leaves around, catching up to Dry Bowser.
Toadette had her left hand on her face while her right hand was on the steering wheel, admitting, "Do you think all of the courses are gonna have gimmicks this race track?"
"Of course it will." Dr. Hoshi sighed as he shrugged briefly, placing his hands back on his kart's steering wheel. "The author's cashing in on Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart 8. Hell, he'll probably throw in some elements of the third arcade Mario Kart too.
Everyone else murmured and nodded as they kept on driving, with the chapter ending short due to the author getting lazy once again.
