Yoshi and Dr. Hoshi were racing against the Ice Climbers who were using their mallets and frosty farts to go ahead in their car shaped like an iceberg; it was quite strange but given that these were the Ice Climbers it didn't seem all that strange.
"Are you really this determined to use your bodily functions to win?" Dr. Hoshi questioned upon swerving around on the icy roads while trying to stay in his go kart.
"Yep!" Popo and Nana happily chimed in unison for they gave each other a high five and proceeded to freeze up the purple dinosaur while taking the lead. "Yes! Yay!"
Yoshi pulled up to his frozen reptile pal while placing on salt to help melt the ice. "Guess you shouldn't have asked them that doc."
Dr. Hoshi simply sighed upon being thawed out for he and Yoshi would discover that they didn't have much of a connection with each other like the Ice Climber twins did but to be fair those parka wearing Eskimo partners were better friends with each other than just about anyone else.
