"You should of listened to Alice when she said that i would hurt her if you came looking... What is that glorious smell?" Edward smirked.

Ciaus' eyes widened when he smelt it. Smoke. Everyone turned to look at the house only to see it on fire. Isabella's screams were no longer heard. Ciaus turned to attack only to find Edward gone.

Charlie looked to the blonde king, "This is your fault."

Charlie silently walked away from the flaming house, Victoria beside him while Ciaus stood still, staring blankly at the place where moments before his mate; the only person he could ever love other than himself was murdered by her psychotic Ex. Aro walked up behind him and placed a hand on his shoulder but he couldn't feel or hear a thing. All he could hear was Isabella's screams, the pain filled sound echoed around his brain. He didn't notice himself falling to the ground until his brothers picked him up and carried him back to the Volturi. Everything just seemed blank and he felt empty. This cant be real... This cant be real... Those around him were keeping a close eye on the broken blonde.

Everything just seemed to pass quickly, seconds turned into minutes. Minutes turned into hours and hours turned into days. All of a sudden three weeks had passed, when he finally came back around he was sitting on his throne. Bodies and blood surrounded him, the guard and even his brothers looked terrified of him. Looking down he noticed blood on his stone white hands and red absorbed clothes.

'This cant be real' he croaked out brokenly before letting his head fall into his stained hands. Aro and Marcus approached the distraught vampire with caution and kneeled next to him.

'Brother? Everything will be fine okay? We will get through this together.' Aro said rubbing his back whilst dismissing the lower guard

'The pain of loosing her will never leave Ciaus, you just have to learn to live with it. Its not the easiest thing to do but you will do it, out of all of us you are the stronger one of the three. You always have been.' Marcus tried to reassure him

'That's only because I've never felt something like what she made me feel before and I knew looking for her would cause her harm but I went anyway. I basically killed my mate. Fuck even her father thought so.' Silence filled the room as the strongest king broke down in front of them, no one knew what to say to reassure him, the past three weeks were filled with blood, ash and death. Word was getting around once again that the Volturi were getting harsher with their punishments and the vampire nation were getting even more scared than they already were. Sighing quietly Charlie walked up to the man and nodded his brothers away.

'I know what I said and it was wrong. I was upset and angry at Edward. I know that you were worried and on edge about loosing her, you could feel all her pain and I didn't think about that until it was too late. I should of never of blamed you because you just wanted your other half back, I would do the same if Vicky was taken. If Bella were still here with us now, I would be thankful for you to be my son in law. In fact I still class you as my son in law, Just because she isn't with us anymore doesn't mean your not apart of my family any more...Okay?' Ciaus looked up and the newborn with weary eyes so much sadness filled both of their eyes, standing up slowly he held out his hand.

Charlie looked down and rolled his eyes before pulling the older man into his arms. If there was one thing in Ciaus' long life that he struggles to remember it was the touch of a father. As a human his father wasn't the kindest of man, All the man cared about was power. Growing up, if Ciaus didn't do something right he was beaten to be stronger, whenever he shed a tear the beating would become worse... As time went on the darkness that grew inside of the blond took over his mind, body and soul. he became the monster that his dad was. Love and tenderness was a weakness and then he met Isabella and she changed his perspective on everything. Feeling the arms of her father wrapped around him he broke down. Why couldn't he of been there when she needed him most. Why couldn't he of saved her. All these questions clouded his mind, all these questions that could never be answered. He missed being wanted by her, the few days he had with her wasn't enough. They should of had an eternity together but that was brutally ripped away from them.

'Why don't you hate me? I killed her!' He whispered brokenly into Charlie's shoulder. 'No you didn't... Edward did. And we will get our revenge. We just need to wait it out, make him feel paranoid. Constantly looking over his shoulder, and then when he has finally gone insane with paranoia we attack.'

Jasper chuckled darkly from the corner, whilst Peter grinned madly beside him 'I like the sound of that' they said in unison. the inner soldier coming out of both of them

Its been three weeks... Why haven't they come? They know what I did, yet they haven't even thought about attacking me. I can feel someone watching me but every time I send one of my slaves out to inspect, there is no one there. Am I imagining this? Should I move on? What is happening? I don't like the feeling of not knowing. The vampire world has gone into one of darkness because of what I've done and I couldn't be happier. He's suffering, he's distracted from me but the others aren't. Why aren't they after me!

These thoughts has been filling the copper haired vampires head since week two but he never let them show, he just walked around head held high as he walked around the streets of Texas at night, picking up random woman (and sometimes men) to please and then drain. He needed something to distract himself from the thoughts...

Looking at his reflection in the mirror by the door he smirked. Everything was going to be fine, why was he even worried? He was Edward Cullen, he could get away with anything and everything.

He left the hotel and walked across the strip to find a new bar for his food. He spotted a bright flashy looking bar with a beautiful brunette standing by the front and he made his way over.. Prey targeted.

He was too distracted to notice two pairs of red eyes glaring at him from a distance.

'That's him Grandmother, he is drawing too much attention to us.' The older one of the two spoke up, the younger one placed a hand on her shoulder to calm her down.

'I know dear but we need to wait for the exact moment to strike. Lets make a game out of this shall we?' She smirked before giving him one last glance and walking away.
