S3 E10 Everypony! Just For Sidekicks is up next!

During another evening in Sweet Apple Acres Malibu had a bad dream. He dreamt of being back in that horrible maze from that time long ago, Discord attempting to brainwash his head into being anti-love, trying to run away from the demonic draconequus.

Eventually Malibu yelped aloud, sweating when waking up, trembling all over, seeing he was safe in his room. Applejack had opened the door when hearing him cry out, a look of concern on her face.

"Everything alright, sugarcube?" She asked. Malibu shrugged a little.

"Just a dream about… Discord still being alive. He was trying to… zap my head again," Malibu said shakily.

Applejack smiled softly, a hoof on his. "Discord is still in stone, Malibu. He won't be comin' back for a while. But ah hope you're ready for your mom coming to see us."

Malibu grinned now. He was looking forward to seeing her but still wondered why she was doing so. "For sure. Guess I'll have to get some more sleep then."

Applejack went her way back out. "I'll see you in the mornin'. Hope you won't have more nightmares."

Malibu nodded, sinking into his pillow, trying not to think about Discord anymore after that, his eyes closing in a dreamless sleep finally.

….

In the bright early morning, the Mane 7 gathered outside of Ponyville in a field waiting for Celestia's arrival.

Pinkie Pie was jumping up and down while Malibu paced, watching the skies for her carriage. "I love it when Princess Celestia comes to Ponyville! I got my hooves shined just for the occasion! You like?" She showed off her surprisingly shiny hooves to Rarity who smiled into them.

"I most certainly do," She complimented, staring at herself into them, Malibu rolling his eyes but still smiling. "I'm surprised she's not here yet," Twilight complimented.

"Yeah, it's weird." Malibu said thoughtfully, glancing up again, tail swishing anxiously.

"I wonder what's taking so long?" Spike said in a sigh.

Twilight glanced around for the missing members of their group. "And where are Applejack and Fluttershy?"

"There's some small problem Fluttershy is helping Applejack with back at the barn," Malibu explained, remembering the beaver dam incident.

Spike paced. "But, I still don't get why your mom would be so late Mal." He brought up again.

Twilight put a hoof on her chin. "She's bringing an important visitor. That could be part of it."

Malibu was stunned. Why didn't Celestia tell him who it was she was bringing? Was it some kind of test? Who could it even be?

"A visitor who is important and slow…" Rainbow Dash grumbled, Malibu agreeing with her. All this waiting was making him anxious even further.

Rarity gave them all a smile. "Maybe it is sompony so terribly important, she still had many terribly important things to do before she got here," She assumed.

Spike then gasped, eyes popped while pulling Twilight's tail. "Maybe the visitor has a deer antler, a goat leg, a bat wing, and a snake tail!"

Malibu heard that description, growling. "No way in hell it could be Discord. Mom would never bring him to Ponyville!" He said angrily.

"I have to agree with Malibu on that. Why would the Princess even bring along somepony like that?" Rarity questioned.

Spike was now shaking. "M-m-maybe you should ask… her!" He squeaked, pointing.

The others looked about at the sound of not one, but two carriages coming to a landing. Malibu smiled at the sight of Celestia, but, then, his face fell in fear, for in the second one; was none other than Discord's statue, still looking the same as before!

It caused the gang to all gasp out in disbelief.

Malibu's stomach was filled with hot rage and betrayal, walking up to his mom who had her smile.

"Mom, this is… I don't… HOW CAN YOU BRING THAT MONSTER TO PONYVILLE?!" The gargoyle clone roared, his eyes their big red glow. Celestia remained calm while stepping out of the carriage.

"I have an explanation, my son. And I am fully aware that last time he was here he created serious havoc."

Twilight glared. "He nearly destroyed everything!" She snapped.

Rainbow agreed. "Discord tried turning Ponyville into the chaos capital of the world…"

"…and tricking all of us into being the opposites of our true selves…" Rarity continued.

"…and making yummy delicious chocolate milk rain all over the place without a single dollop of whipped cream to go with it anywhere in sight! Not a single dollop!" Pinkie Pie finished in her high pitched voice.

Malibu nodded. "Yeah, what she said. Discord can't be trusted! Why didn't you tell me about this mom?!" He said in a hurt and betrayed voice.

Celestia placed a wing around him. "Because, I have tasked you all with this challenge that I believe can be used to reform Discord to use his magic for good instead of evil. And you are the ponies who can help him do just that."

That made the gargoyle turned pony feel his world was going upside down. Discord? A good guy? It was to laugh!

"Forget it mom. You saw him try to hurt me! I don't even want to be near that devil!" He hissed, backing away from the hellish statue. Celestia had a sad look in her eyes from how mad her son was.

"Please, son, you're the Element of Love. And he is the father of Screwball. This is our chance to have Discord be on our side in case any other bad forces try to take over our land. This is a good chance to prove you are still the proper bearer of said Element."

Malibu's heart wrenched. He didn't want ponies to be hurt, but at the same time now didn't want to disappoint his mom. He looked down, trembling. If it was to keep Ponyville safe, he would do it.

"Ok. Only for Equestria's sake and Screwball. Not for him," Malibu agreed. Celestia hugged him again, tears in his eyes now.

"And, if it doesn't work, we can just use the Elements if he gets out of hand," Twilight added in, Malibu agreeing with her. Spike laughed nervously while backing up. "Uh, w-w-we probably need a volunteer to run away from here right away to go get them! I'll do it!"

Celestia shook her head. "No need, Spike. I have them right here." She pulled out the familiar jeweled case, opening it. "And I cast a spell so Discord cannot take them and hide them again."

Malibu smiled at the sight of his own Element which was his red cross cutie mark. He hadn't seen it for a long time. Celestia glanced around. "Now where is Fluttershy? I believe besides Malibu she may know the best how to begin reforming Discord."

Everypony was stunned at this. "Fluttershy? Really?" Rainbow yelped. Apparently so.

Rainbow had gone then to go get Fluttershy and Applejack, telling them the not so great news of having Discord back once AJ's apple fields were unflooded from beavers. They joined the others.

Celestia told Fluttershy her task. "And… you really think I'll know best how to do that?" She asked in surprise. The white alicorn put a gentle hoof under her chin. "I do."

It caused Fluttershy to give off a cute blush, Malibu smiling a little too which cheered him up from earlier but was still wary of that statue which would soon be alive again.

Celestia went back into her carriage. "I have to return to Canterlot for Equestria's royal summit. You may release Discord when ready." It flew off into the sky after she said goodbye to her son who was now more nervous than ever.

They all circled around Discord. "Ok, ponies. Guess it's time to get started. Let's just hope this releasing spell works." Twilight said. Spike peeked from behind her. "Or, let's not!"

Malibu felt Twilight put on his Element. "We'd best keep our Elements on at all times until further notice," Twilight instructed.

"Check!" Him and the others said aloud. Malibu gulped. This was gonna be rough. He closed his eyes, his element flowing magic within his body alongside the other 6.

A rainbow swirl appeared from Twilight's crown, connecting with the other pendants, swirling further around Discord's statue until soon; his body broke free at last from the imprisonment, roaring/yawning at the same time.

Malibu's eyes opened when the spell was done, gasping in fear from seeing Discord flesh and blood again who started shaking out his limbs.

"Oh! Ooh! Ooooh! Well, it's about time somepony got me out of that prison block! What a relief!" Discord exclaimed, snapping his fingers, which made a squirrel go rather buff, taking a branch and chewing on it.

The Mane 7 gasped aloud. Twilight glared. "What do you think you're doing?!"

Discord grinned, pulling his leg upward. "Why, stretching of course! When you're a creature of chaos, stone bodysuits aren't your typical go-to fashion choice."

Malibu saw him snap his fingers yet again, spotting a bunny who became deranged, and having longer teeth.

"Make that bunny go back to normal!" Malibu demanded, eyes glowing bright. Discord spotted him now, smirking.

"Oh, the little Prince. How delightful to see you again!" Discord said teasingly, his lion paw finger booping his nose. Malibu yanked away, growling. "Don't touch me!"

Discord folded his arms. "How rude, I thought royals were meant to be majestic. But… you aren't a true born one I recall. A gargoyle, correct?"

Malibu just kept up his glare, not wanting more games. "Quit the mind games, Discord! Just turn those animals back!"

But Discord wasn't done yet. "Aww, but this guy is perfect the way he is!" He petted the bunny who tried snapping off his fingers but missed. Discord blew a raspberry before continuing. "You know what else is adorable? You ponies truly believe that you can reform me, and that you're putting your faith into this one here to make it happen." Discord hovers around Fluttershy, next pinching her cheeks. "Makes me wanna pinch your little horsey cheeks!"

The teal alicorn snarled. "Leave her alone!" He snapped, Discord frowning at Malibu before hovering away.

"How did you know about that?" Twilight then asked which was a good question for Malibu now that he thought about it.

Discord rolled his eyes. "Being turned to stone doesn't keep me from hearing every word Celestia says. Although I admit it makes rolling my eyes a challenge." He actually took off his eyes which grossed Malibu out but after he rolled them on the ground Discord appeared there, his eyes back in their spots.

Twilight glared. "Well, unless you want us to turn you back into stone, you'll zap those animals back the way they were pronto!"

Malibu stomped his hoof, horn aglow. "She does mean it!" He said in a stern way, Discord looking a little fearful at first but only laughed. "Oh, you wouldn't dare turn me back to stone and risk disappointing your precious mommy," He sneered at Malibu who's ears fell slightly at that until Fluttershy came to the rescue.

"You think you can treat poor defenseless animals like that and get away with it?!" She stormed, Rainbow fist pumping. "You go, Fluttershy!"

Malibu smiled, as Fluttershy gives Discord a harsh glare, always liking when she is this way. "You'd best watch your step, buster, or I'll give you… The Stare!"

Discord cries out but from Malibu's POV it seemed pretty fake. "The Stare? Oh no, please, not that! Anything but your disapproving eyeballs!" He soon began laughing, pretty much mocking Fluttershy which made Malibu more mad at this guy.

Fluttershy next begins her Stare, Malibu hoping it works. Discord began flailing his arms, making strangled sounds. "No, no, no! Stop! No! I can't! Stop!"

She kept up her stare, until Malibu saw Discord form swirling red eyes. "Stop! I can't take it anymore! I'll do whatever you say… because…" Malibu rolls his eyes in frustration as Discord soon laughed further, enjoying his prank.

Growling a little, Malibu poked his hoof right at his chest threateningly. "I… warn you. You dare mock any of my friends or hurt other innocent animals, we can convince my mom we turned you back to stone for a good damn reason!" He spat, making Discord gulp now.

Discord gave a moan. "Mmm… I suppose that's correct," He said with a sigh, turning the animals back the way they were. But out of their sight he snapped his tail, possessing some beavers. He winked at the camera. "Oopsie!" Discord whispered softly before turning to the others. "Well, you certainly have spirit, little gargoyle. But it looks like I know where I'll be crashing while I'm being 'reformed'…"

He went to hold Fluttershy in his arms. "With you, Fluttershy!" The draconequus began laughing boisterously while Fluttershy's ears flattened. "Oh dear," She squeaked.

Malibu's heart filled in dread, afraid for Fluttershy's safety but inside trusted her to help Discord feel welcome which made him cringe.

….

Some time later Fluttershy began to make her home more organized for her unusual guest, the rest of the Mane 7 there. "He may be horrible, but that doesn't mean we have to act the same way. We should at least try to be hospitable." She stated, much to Malibu's disbelief.

"Are you serious? After what he did? He dissed on my mom that time ago!" Snarled Malibu, not wanting to forgive Discord for it.

Fluttershy gave him a begging look. "It is for Discord's own good, Mal. Please set aside your anger at least for now," She pleaded.

Malibu groaned, then nodded. Fluttershy's eyes widen when seeing someone on the couch. "You don't mind giving up your favorite spot on the couch, do you, Angel bunny?"

Angel squeaked, trying to pull Discord who was on the couch off of it, but Malibu knew the little rodent had no chance against someone that big. Fluttershy grinned at Discord. "Oh, I'm sorry about Angel. Are you alright?"

Discord nodded. "Oh, yes. Thank you, Fluttershy for your concern. If only your pony and gargoyle friends could feel the same way."

Rainbow frowned. "Don't listen to him, Fluttershy! He's just trying to drive a wedge between us like he always does!"

Malibu bared his teeth when Discord pretended not to heed her words. "Now why in the world would I ever try to do a thing like that?"

Malibu stomped his hoof. "So we can't use the Elements on you, that's why!" He snapped.

"I never thought of that!" Discord said in a sarcastic way.

Rainbow Dash flew back with the others. "You big liar!" She snarled.

Then Discord suddenly changed sizes as he was now smaller than Angel Bunny thanks to his chaos magic. "Now look who's a liar. Anyone can plainly see that I'm not big at all."

Malibu's eyes glowed. "Leave my special somepony alone!" Discord next changed size, but knocked over a lamp which broke.

This devastated Fluttershy but Discord said "Oops!" Fixing the lamp but making it look like him. "There. All better!" He cooed, knocking Angel off the couch who tried to climb on.

Applejack covered her eyes with her hat. "I can't watch," She moaned in disgust. Malibu agreed with her, wanting to get away from this satan spawn as much as possible. "We'll be outside," Dash muttered, Malibu following outside with them.

Malibu saw inside Twilight and Flutter whispering to each other about Discord as well as the draconequus messing with Angel. He just prayed his mom was right about the whole 'getting Discord on their side' thing would work.

Twilight backed up. "Ok. But if you need us, all you do is to whisper 'help', and we'll be right back with our Elements." She turned harshly to Discord. "So watch that goat-legged step of yours, pal!"

Discord blinked, using his magic to show him and Angel sitting in high class chairs. "Wh-what? Look at me! I'm practically reformed already!"

Malibu just glared distrustfully. "Don't you think about turning Ponyville into your kingdom again!" He threatened, making Discord give him an innocent smile, waving as Fluttershy closed the door. Rarity was stunned at what was going on. "She's really alright about him staying there?"

Twilight nodded. "That was what Fluttershy said. And with the befriending stuff."

That made Malibu nauseous. "I'm glad it isn't me doing it," He said, already having a headache from earlier. Rainbow put a hoof on his shoulder. "But personally, I think we should come up with a back up plan. In case this whole 'befriending' business doesn't work out."

Rarity agreed. "Rainbow Dash is right. This is Discord we are talking about. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have another trick up our sleeves."

Twilight began to grin. "And I think I know just the trick, come on!" Malibu trotted alongside her to the library, wondering what she had in mind, eyes casting to the cottage, struggling to trust in Fluttershy to get it in right with that monster.

Inside; the friends were looking through the books, Spike having been hiding the whole time while the others were at Fluttershy's.

But whatever Twilight wanted to do wasn't in her books at all which confused Malibu. "That's weird. The spell I had in mind isn't in here. Spike, where are the other books I asked you to pull?"

Malibu saw Spike holding 6 books in his arms. "Right here, Twilight."

"What kind of spell were you going to tell me about?" Malibu questioned curiously. Twilight gazed at him.

"A reforming spell. We need to have one up and running pronto."

That stunned Malibu a little at the idea of casting something like that on a thousand year old magical creature. "You really think Discord would fall for something like that?" He asked.

"If it is strong enough it will," Twilight argued back, Spike suddenly looking afraid.

"But what if he makes the Elements of Harmony disappear like he did last time?" He yelped. Twilight shook her head. "Princess Celestia casted a spell protecting them remember?" But then, her face fell, dropping her book. "Uh oh…"

Malibu felt a sense of dread from that, swishing his tail. "What's happened?" He asked, his heart thumping.

Twilight flipped through her books more. "Princess Celestia didn't cast a spell protecting our books! Everywhere where I'd thought I'd find the reforming spell…!" She gasped in fright, seeing now that a page was missing.

Malibu growled, seeing red, hating Discord even further that he ripped a page out of a book. More ways to mess with them! How he planned to pummel Discord into a pulp later!

The three of them ran out of the house back to Fluttershy's cottage to tell her what happened. Upon arriving; Malibu's jaw was dropped when seeing her cottage floating in the air and spinning. What was happening?!

"Ok, this… this is just…" Malibu moaned, feeling sick watching the house spinning. Twilight nodded in agreement until Fluttershy was seen flying out, Angel in her hooves as she joined them.

Malibu's face was full of worry. "Fluttershy, what in the world is happening? Are you ok? Why is your house floating?" He asked in a stressed voice.

Fluttershy just smiled. "We're fine. Everything's going great. Isn't it, Angel?" Said bunny hopped down, dizzily wandering off.

Twilight glared. "We've come to get you away from Discord! He's just terrible, and, from the looks of it, completely out of control!"

Malibu couldn't quite believe what he heard next. "Oh, but you're wrong! We're making great progress!"

That caused the three's jaws to drop. "Seriously?!" They all yelped.

"What the heck, Fluttershy?!" Malibu exclaimed, face fallen in disbelief.

Fluttershy continued smiling. "I'm earning his trust by giving him a little space to be himself," She explained. That ticked Malibu off.

"Yeah, until he mind zaps us all again!" He roared, eyes glowing red. Fluttershy noted his anger, putting a hoof on his shoulder to calm him down.

"And also, Discord used that 'space to be himself' to tear out all the reforming spells at the library!" Spike added in in disapproval.

Fluttershy tapped her chin. "That does explain the paper eating…"

Twilight's face was rightfully disgusted in Malibu's eyes. "He… ATE THEM?! UGGGGHH!" She moaned, having a headache.

Malibu had a hard time controlling his own anger. "Fluttershy, he could easily harm other ponies if you continue to let that… thing 'be himself'!" He argued, but Fluttershy disagreed.

"You'll see, and we aren't going to need a spell. Discord's already really considering being reformed! He said so!"

Twilight and Malibu didn't believe that rubbish. "Yeah, and I'm really an ursa major!" Malibu spat, stomping his hoof.

Fluttershy frowned, but kept up her argument. "If I'm going to be his friend, I have to start by giving him the benefit of the doubt. Tell you what. Bring all the ponies over for a dinner party this evening, and his manners would have really improved by then. I'll even get him to put the cottage back on the ground first." She flew up to do just that.

Malibu sighed heavily, feeling ready to pass out from all this stress just thinking about eating around Discord, not really wanting to go. But, in Fluttershy's eyes, he kind of did see nothing but kindness for that chaos spirit, which really stunned him. He supposed, he could take Fluttershy's word for now since she was his friend after all.

….

Later near evening the gang were all headed over to Fluttershy's house. Malibu was still frowning, not wanting to be near Discord again as Rainbow Dash voiced her disapproval.

"Ugh, I can't believe we're having a dinner party with Discord!" She complained.

Malibu nodded in agreement. "I hear you, Rainbow," He said.

Rarity's nose scrunched up, gazing at the dress she had on. "This evening is sure to be a disaster. Glad I didn't bother wearing my fanciest outfit."

Those words did make Malibu chuckle a little. Rarity rarely had anything than less fancy. Twilight spoke. "Fluttershy thinks this is the way to reform Discord and asked us to give it a chance."

Before Malibu spoke back to her the door opened, making him jump. Discord was there in all his glory wearing a tux. "Oh, our pony guests!" Opening his mouth, a rug came out of it. Malibu stepped back, cringing up at the idea of walking on a rug from his mouth. "We're so delighted that you've come. Please, do come in!" Discord finished in an upper class styled voice.

Gingerly Malibu stepped onto the rug but it was surprisingly dry. He and the rest of his friends ventured in, and Malibu noted it looked different than the last time. He figured Discord used his magic to make Fluttershy's house look regal or something.

Fluttershy smiled proudly at Discord. "See what a beautiful job he did helping? Discord set the entire table himself. I'm so proud."

"I-If you say so," Malibu said somewhat shakily, staying as close to Twilight as possible. Discord soon teleported above them. "May I take your… hats?"

Twilight ducked on time, Malibu shielding his element. "Hang onto your elements everypony, it's going to be a bumpy night," She said in her nervous tone. Malibu was glad for his mom's protection spell on the Elements.

The Mane 7 and Spike sat down at the table while elegant music played around them, Malibu watching Discord with wary eyes as he just smiled back.

Discord put a plate of some rather he had to admit good looking food which were apple cupcakes and sunflower sandwiches. Malibu smelled it with caution, hoping it wasn't tainted.

"Oh, relax, little prince. I haven't messed with your food." Discord said with a sly grin that Malibu didn't trust. But then he saw Pinkie Pie eating her fritter with ease and she didn't look effected by it. "Pinkie Pie, care for some gravy?" Fluttershy asked.

Pinkie grinned, nodding. "You bet!"

Discord snapped his fingers. "Allow me!" He caused the gravy boat to come alive, panting like a dog and pouring gravy onto Pinkie's food. "Aw, what a cute little gravy boat you are! Yes you are! Yes you are!" She cooed.

Malibu swallowed, taking his daisy sandwich with his magic, and took a careful bite, swallowing it down. So far, nothing too bad about it. And it was actually quite good. He continued to eat, hoping the food will help him not be so nervous. Discord looked pleased Malibu was eating his cooking.

"Uh, t-thanks Discord," Malibu said tentatively while drinking his cider. Discord ruffled his mane. "No trouble!"

Rainbow Dash eyed the gravy boat. "That's one creepy little gravy boat if you ask me!" She said gruffly, until the gravy boat came by, pouring the gravy into her lap. She yelped, flying into the air, Malibu's eyes widening. "Hey! That's hot!"

Malibu turned to Discord with a new glare. "What did you do that for?!" He demanded. Discord grinned, chuckling. "I'm so sorry."

Rainbow pointed accusingly. "He did that on purpose!" Malibu agreed with her but Discord didn't think so.

"Oh, well, I don't know about that. Mistakes happen." He said in a laughing voice that Malibu didn't buy at all until randomly dancing candles appeared on the table. "Look, everypony! Dancing candles!"

The candles danced for a while until they eventually stopped, Malibu's ears low from unamusement. Rainbow huffed. "I'm not falling for that! Discord's just trying to distract us from—." The candles suddenly began hitting her. "Hey! Knock it off! Is suppose that's another mistake?!"

Malibu flew over to knock them away from her as Discord looked a little worried. "No, I think you just made them mad."

Twilight tapped her chin. "There's something fishy going on." As she said that the fish shaped tureen spurted tea onto Twilight, knocking her down. It did the same with Malibu who yelped and sputtered from the hot tea, falling to the ground.

Fluttershy looked at Discord in worry. "Discord?"

Discord chuckled sheepishly. "Well, it's hardly my fault if the soup tureen finds the term 'something fishy' to be offensive."

Malibu growled, wiping tea off his face. "Well, I don't find it funny if it is squirting hot tea on us in its defense!" He snapped, seeing Rarity squealing from the tea hitting her dress.

Applejack held up her plate. "That tureen's only doin' what you're makin' it too!" She argued.

Fluttershy held up her hooves. "Now, let's not jump to any conclusions—." She tried.

Rainbow Dash managed to cover the tureen with a food cover top. "Fluttershy! Can't you see what he's doing? He's playing innocent with you so that you'll never agree to use the Elements of Harmony against him!" She argued, Malibu thinking she had a point.

Discord lowered his ears. "Oh, well, that's a bit harsh, isn't it?" He asked. And Malibu for a moment believed that his voice seemed a little more genuine than before but kept his defense up.

"You see what I mean, right Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash demanded, but Fluttershy looked confused and worried. "Fluttershy!"

Fluttershy then frowned. "You know what I see? I see that Discord's far from perfect, but I also see none of you giving him a chance," She defended.

That made Malibu's jaw drop. Did Discord put a spell on her to make her think that way?! The others argued as well.

"What's gotten into you? Why do you keep cutting him so much slack?" Snapped Rainbow Dash in anger, wondering why Fluttershy defended him so much.

The yellow pegasus took Discord's lion paw. "Because that's what friends do," She said with a smile.

Those words seemed to strike Discord pretty hard. "W-We're friends?"

Fluttershy nodded with her smile. "Why, of course! I can't remember my house ever being this lively before you came along!"

Malibu saw Discord's eyes begin to water from emotion which was rather almost believable to him. "Oh… well, I've… never really had a friend before." Discord said softly, sending dejavu through Malibu recalling the days he never really had friends until meeting the ponies, his own heart softening slightly.

"Well now you do!" Fluttershy said cheerfully, Discord almost looking like he was blushing. It was all rather calm for a brief moment much to Malibu's relief until the window opened, revealing Angel the bunny.

He looked pretty panicked, squealing and jumping onto the table. Malibu's ears flattened. "Get out of here now Angel, please," he begged but Applejack held up her hoof.

"Hold up! I think he's tryin' to tell us somethin'!"

Angel poured a glass of water over his head, pretending like he was drowning that looked weird, then held up an apple like it was charades.

"Apple!" They all exclaimed, Angel next pointing to Applejack. "Applejack!"

Angel face palmed, pulling out a mug of apple juice and putting the apple in. "Ooh, ooh! Sweet Apple Acres?" Rarity asked.

Malibu then realized, his blood growing cold. "Flooding at Sweet Apple Acres! He shouted, now turning back at Discord, glowering. "Did you have anything to do with this?!" He roared into Discord's face who smiled nervously. "Who? Me?" A halo appeared above his head.

It made the gargoyle clone growl, swatting his tail at Discord, flying out with the others. "Quit the innocent routine! What do you think of your 'friend' now Fluttershy?" He growled, making Fluttershy look upset when they all left them behind.

….

At Sweet Apple Acres; Malibu saw the demon bunny wasn't wrong about the flood. It nearly covered all the trees in the area no thanks to some beavers building a huge dam that had red eyes mostly from Discord's magic over them.

Applejack was in despair. "I've never seen the floodin' this bad! They've built dams 'round here before but, never like this! What's goin' on?"

Malibu saw Fluttershy having arrived, trying to talk to the beavers but they mostly screeched meanly at her, throwing a log. "Such language!" She gasped, turning to the rest. "It's no use. They won't listen to a word I say!"

"I know we'll fix this, or at least some draconequus should," Malibu snapped bitterly while standing next to Applejack.

"You see Discord's behind all this right?" Rainbow Dash demanded at Fluttershy who nodded. "Oh, of course I do! Do you all think I am a silly gullible fool?!"

That made the others all look sheepish, Malibu's face flushing from shouting at Fluttershy back at the cottage. "S-Sorry for yelling," He apologized, kicking the dirt.

Fluttershy smiled in a forgiving way before continuing. "I've just been trying to gain his friendship any way I can, so he'd come to trust and listen to me."

Before Malibu could say anything else; he heard the voice of said spirit of chaos from the water. "Hey, there Fluttershy! You want a turn? The water's great!" He was water skiing while being pulled by fish tureens. Malibu frowned in annoyance that he wasn't up for fixing his damage.

Fluttershy murmured under her breath when flying out to him. Discord smiled at her. "Fluttershy, oh, there you are. A sight for sore eyes!" He cooed.

She pointed to the flood. "As you can see, there's a big mess down here at Sweet Apple Acres."

Discord didn't look like he was paying attention, drying himself. "Oh, yes. Awful business that. Mm."

That really pissed off Malibu, his eyes flashing. "This is AJ's home! You had no right to control innocent animals to flood it!" He shouted, trying to get through to him. All Discord did was just grin mockingly. "What will you do about it, hm? You can't even turn me into stone!"

Fluttershy folded her hooves. "This would've never happened if it weren't for your reckless behavior. You need to fix this!"

Discord nodded absentmindedly. "Oh, yes, very well, I will fix it. I only ask one thing in return."

The yellow pegasus looked at him with a smile. "Yes?"

The draconequus then said something that would put the Mane 7 in danger. "I ask that you never use your Element of Harmony against me. As a sign of our friendship," Discord offered, a smirk on his face.

Malibu stared in fear at the idea of that, shaking his head no to Fluttershy urgently until she said; "I will never use my Element of Harmony against you."

She took it off, tossing it to Spike. Despair flooded through Malibu's soul hard for him to believe Fluttershy would agree to such a thing!

"Excellent!" Discord cheered, snapping his fingers. Malibu squeezed his eyes shut, until he felt a change in temperature which got colder. Opening his eyes, his jaw dropped, seeing now ice in the flood's place. How DARE he?! "There! Much better! I do prefer ice skating to water skiing! Don't you?"

He was skating on the ice, clearly mocking them all. Malibu felt his temper snap then, his eyes flashing in rage, soaring into the air and soon tackled Discord head on, the two falling on the ice, tumbling over each other.

"You… no good… dirty!" Screamed Malibu in heated anger, sending a kick at Discord who was sent flying into a tree. Fluttershy was gasping in horror at what was going on but was also angry at Discord.

"Malibu, stop! And Discord, this was not fixing it!" She shouted, running onto the ice.

The gargoyle clone was running over to Discord to hurt him again until his hooves felt the ice cracking. He didn't notice until soon the ice broke, causing Malibu to cry out, falling into the cold water.

The other ponies screamed in horror but didn't want to run out in case they too fell in. Discord hovered in the air in some surprise and fear at what happened but did his best to keep his cool.

"H-Help!" Yelped Malibu, struggling to hold on, the cold water getting to his head. Fluttershy looked at Discord in fear. "Please, save him!" She begged.

Discord folded his arms. "And why should I? He attacked me!" He snapped, glowering at the struggling gargoyle alicorn in the water, his teeth chattering.

"He did have his reasons! You tricked us! And if you don't fix the farm or save his life, we won't be friends anymore!" Fluttershy demanded.

Discord growled now. "Who cares if he dies or not? I am Discord! Master of chaos! I can do whatever I want! You think you can boss Discord around and fix all this? If I don't I'll lose the only friend I ever had?"

It caused him to pause in surprise from his own words, also glancing back at Malibu whose face was turning pale from the freezing water, losing his grip on the ice. Discord facepalmed himself. "Well played, Fluttershy. Well played."

Discord then rushed to where Malibu was in the ice hole, snapping his fingers and teleporting him out, wrapping a blanket around him he conjured out of thin air. Malibu stood there in disbelief, having nearly almost drowned to now drying off with a towel. Next he sat on a tree, closing his eyes, lifting his chaos magic off of the fields.

Everything was now back to normal; the fields were all dry and healthy, the rest of the Apple Family wondering what had been happening while Rainbow Dash gave Malibu a big hug, hoping he would be ok while their other friends cheered for Fluttershy.

"I like it better my way but… I guess when you're friends that usually doesn't happen all the time." He said sheepishly, as he looked at Malibu who stared in some gratitude.

"Uh… um… thanks Discord. Guess I now owe you," Malibu said in embarrassment. Discord huffed. "Don't go gushy on me little prince."

Malibu suddenly had a thought. "Also, w-we have something we think belongs to you. I'll write my mom to bring her over here," he said. Discord raised his brow before nodding.

….

In Ponyville; Celestia had arrived with Screwball coming alongside her, though remaining in the carriage to start. Discord held his hands, looking at her in worry before soon bowing. "Yes, Princess. I'm ready to use my magic for good instead of evil. Most of the time…" He said the last part under his breath.

Celestia smiled proudly. "Congratulations on your success, ponies. I definitely sense a big change in Discord." She glanced at Twilight and Malibu. "I'll leave the Elements of Harmony with you, Twilight. Just in case."

Discord perked in fear from that but shrugged it off. Twilight said her piece. "You were right when you said Fluttershy would be the one to find a way to reform Discord. By treating Discord as a friend, she got him to realize that friendship was actually important to him. And something that, once he had, he didn't want to lose," Twilight said in her friendship letter moral. Malibu grinned. He always enjoyed those.

"Plus, he saved my life so I suppose I can let him off the hook for now," The teal alicorn affirmed, looking up at Discord in some respect.

Fluttershy nudged her new friend. "Go on. Say it."

Discord moaned. "Alright. Friendship is Magic," He said quickly, making them all laugh.

Celestia then stood to the side. "One more thing, Discord. I believe this was Malibu's surprise for you. Come on out, Screwball."

The swirly eyed earth pony nervously stepped out, staring shyly up at her father. Discord was confused as Screwball walked carefully over to him.

"A pony?" Discord questioned weirdly. Then Screwball gave a timid smile.

"Hi daddy. You made me those years ago when taking over Equestria." She greeted.

It made the whole world crash around Discord just like that. He actually made sentient life that wasn't in his control?! He swallowed, kneeling down. "M-My daughter…?" Discord murmured, his eyes beginning to moisten. Screwball's did too.

"I really wanted to see you." Screwball said, her eyes full of love, a hoof on Discord's lion paw now. Discord sniffled, unable to bear it. He next instantly pulled Screwball into a hug. Fluttershy had softened him up to the point where he could take in his daughter.

Pinkie Pie squealed in excitement and tearful happiness while Malibu struggled to keep himself together. This was kind of touching, even for someone this chaotic.

The two hugged as a new family and Malibu inside now knew Equestria was 20 percent safer with a spirit of chaos on their side, happy to have accomplished their mission while he hugged his mom.

Another great Discord chapter for me to do! Look out for more Discord in season 4!

Also wanted to add Screwball reuniting with her father at the end of this. But season 3 is just about nearing its end with 3 more episodes!

P.S. I know Malibu has another in peril moment but the next set of chapters won't have it as much. Mostly wanted Discord to have more proof he changed like willing to save somepony else from danger besides just fixing his mistake.
