The Green Mystery Part 2
Angel Grove Quarry
The Mysterious Green Ranger eyes at the Phantom Thieves. The Green Ranger sprints, with its dragon dagger in hand, and strikes one of the Phantom Thieves. The Phantom Thief of Violet is hit in the stomach. "Vassel!" calls out Silvia. Vassel gets up, taking a great hit from the Green Ranger. The rangers are blown away by the Green Ranger. Silvia takes out his sword wanting to duel with the Green Ranger, they both get into a sword fight. The rest of the Phantom Thieves watch. The Green Ranger knocks down Silvia. The rest of the Thieves call out "Silvia!" Austin is too focused on the mysterious stranger. He is wondering how the green ranger power was activated.
Rave flies down and lunges towards the Red Ranger. Austin tries to block her with his Power Sword, but he is hit, he flies back hitting the ground. The Green Ranger sees this and blows into her dagger, it plays like a flute. Green shockwaves hit Rave, she falls back. Minh takes out her power daggers and hits Rave. Woodward helps Rave but William and Sav fire their Blade Blasters at the Forest Green Phantom. Woodward gets knocked back. Austin takes out his power sword and fights off Rave. The remaining Phantom Thieves fight off the rangers, while the Green Ranger fights off Silvia.
William looks at the Green Ranger, same Color, same Golden Armor, but one thing that stands out is the skirt. The Original Green Ranger never wore one. William calls out to her, "hey!" The Green Ranger looks at William for a bit, but faces the leader of the Phantom Thieves. William calls out to her "who are you? And why do you have that power?" The Green Ranger ignores William. William yells out "Answer me young lady!" The other three rangers stop battling and look at William, wondering what he is talking about.
Lady Darcine gets up, struggling to stand, she looks at the rangers, fighting off the Phantom Thieves. Silvia fires at Lady Darcine, she falls back down. The remaining Phantom Thieves are outnumbered by the rangers. Silvia says to them "let this lady rot!" He then looks at Lady Darcine "She'll be destroyed by the rangers in no time!" He looks at the Rangers while saying this. The Phantom Thieves teleport away in a Red Glow. Lady Darcine is angry with her minions, she yells "no! My creation! My hard work!" Austin gets up and says to her "Looks like your plan didn't work!" Lady Darcine fires at Austin, he dodges and battles her. They fight each other. Austin hits her with the blade of his power sword. Lady Darcine takes every hit. She is weakened by the red ranger. The green ranger is impressed by Austin. Austin roundhouse kicks Darcine, she goes flying hitting a rocky wall in the process. Lady Darcine, in her weakened state, fires her lasers at Austin and then teleports away, before she could be destroyed.
The Green Ranger turns around and walks past the rangers. While walking away, Minh comes up to her. "Hey!" Minh calls out to her. The Green Ranger turns around, Minh catches up to her and asks "who are you? And why do you have Tommys power?" The Green Ranger ignores her and keeps walking, Minh grabs the green ranger by the shoulder and asks "who are you!?" The Green Ranger pushes Minh away with force, she falls down to the ground. Sav calls out "hey!" The Green Ranger throws an energy ball at Sav. William wants to say something, but he doesn't want to take a blow to the face. Austin looks at the Green Ranger, she looks at Austin and then teleports out of sight.
Cranston Technologies - Command Center
The Four Remaining Rangers teleport to the command center. Minh asks Billy "can you track the Green Power Coin?" concerned for her and the holder of the Green Power Coin. Billy nods "I am already on it! It seems that someone hacked the Green Power Morpher and is using it for their own business." William walks over to the group, "but it's a girl? She was wearing a skirt!" Sav says to William "and so does Mr. Calloway!" as he points out to him that guys can also wear a skirt. Austin says to Sav "that's called a kilt!" Sav says back to Austin "not every guy wears a kilt, remember Larry King? He graduated high school when we were freshmen." Minh gets the group under control "guys! The Skirt does not matter! What matters is who has the Green Ranger Power!" Everyone in the command center goes silent. Billy says to them "Minh's right. Someone has the Green Ranger power and we don't know for sure if it is being used for good or evil!" Billy thinks about his time as a ranger, back when Tommy was controlled under Ritas spell.
Austins phone goes off, he gets a text from his new friend Tara, she asks him if he got his personal life out of the way, Austin texts her back. Sav looks at Austin "dude, who's texting you?" feeling curious. Austin says to him, "just this new girl at our school." Sav looks at Austin "girl!?" He asks with a weird look on his face. "Sav, that is not important! We need to find out who this mysterious green ranger is?" Minh says to him, thinking about the situation. "Not only that, but the Phantom Thieves!" William adds on. Austin doesn't pay attention to the situation, he only adds a bit of info to the rangers "they are former lawbreakers of Angel Grove. They died in Dusk Bay" he says, looking at his phone. Sav asks Austin "wait, you're not gonna say more? You studied them!" Austin ignores Sav. Minh asks Austin "Austin, we need you! You can't go wandering off!" William asks Austin "dude, don't you wanna help out and find out who the green ranger is?" Austin keeps texting Tara, he doesn't even wanna look at his teammates. Minh asks Austin "is your personal life more important?" Austin ignores the trio and teleports away. Sav is worried for Austin. The new girl at their school is really taking away his focus towards their ranger duties.
Angel Grove Youth Center - Juice Bar - Hallway
Austin teleports to the Youth Center. He walks out of the closet and accidentally slams the door open on Cody. "Whoa, what the hell?" asks Cody as he gets hit in the face. He looks to see that it was Austin "Austin? You gotta watch where you're going! And why were you in there?" he asks him. Austin responds, just checking the room for cleaning supplies for future events!" He scurries off to the Juice bar. Sandra clocks in looking at Austin, she is wondering what has happened since the renovation of the Youth Center?
Angel Grove Youth Center - Juice Bar
Austin goes over to the juice bar, he stands right in front of the new railing, looking around for Tara. The Juice Bar is a lot different than what it was, the gym is in a larger room, the juice bar is a lot bigger than what it was before. There are a few more workers. The stage is a lot bigger, but still the same as it was. The tables are round or rectangular. And there is another kitchen serving burritos and tacos to some athletes of Angel Grove. Some of the Football players are chowing down on Mexican food. Austin gazes at the new Youth Center, he is surprised to see how different it has been since he last saw it. He tries to find Tara, but there is no luck.
Tara walks inside of the Youth Center, wondering where Austin is. Austin spots Tara and calls out for her. She looks over to see that Austin is standing at the railing. Tara runs over to him, they stand at the railing talking to each other. "So this is the place where you hangout?" Tara asks him while looking around. Austin responds "yep, though this place did get renovated over the summer. So I'm not familiar with this place yet." Tara looks around and sees everyone hanging out, working out, getting food, etc. She then looks at Austin and asks him "wanna get out of here?" Austin is confused "but, don't you want a smoothie?" Tara rolls her eyes, "I know a better place to go hangout," she drags Austin by the wrist. They leave the Juice Bar.
Fran, behind the counter, looks at Austin wondering what is going on "there is something up with Austin?" he says to Cody. Cody agrees "yes, he just came out of a closet like it is something out of a bad superhero movie?" He is also concerned. Fran looks at Tara, who is escorting Austin out of the bar, he gets a bad feeling about her "That girl seems like trouble? I knew I shouldn't have closed the place down for the summer…" he says to Cody, feeling regretful. Cody pats his Fran on the back "You needed to renovate the place. It's not your fault" he says to his boss. Fran is still concerned "Yeah, but I'm really concerned for Austin…" he says.
Grande Morevils Lair - Prison
Lady Darcine, badly injured, is restrained by the Tux Rucks. She is thrown into the cell, all chained up. Grande Morevil walks into the prison. "You tried to betray us! But you failed to keep them under control!" Grande Morevil says as he stares at Lady Darcine with hate. "I should've destroyed you, but the power rangers did me a favor by damaging you!" He says to her. Lady Darcine begs Morevil "please, forgive me! I just wanted to have my own army" she pleads to him. Grande Morevil smacks Darcine on the face, she falls down slamming into the floor. "I will keep you for later! Right now, you are going to be imprisoned!" He kicks her in the stomach and slams the gate shut after he says this. Lady Darcine lies on the ground, groaning in pain and feeling like a failure. Clondurk and Telegator do not say anything, they stay silent, knowing that they were involved with the progress of reviving the phantom thieves. Morevil, Telegator, and Clondurk leave the room. Metallic Grant glares at Lady Darcine, she asks "wait, baby! I-I I was trying to help us!" Grant turns around "what do you mean! YOU were betraying us!" he yells out of anger. Darcine says something that interests Grant, she says "but I know about what Morevil really did! And our planet!" Metallic Grant comes closer to the cell, he looks at her straight in the eyes, "our planet? Dusklin?" he asks her. Lady Darcine nods "I know all about our planet, the truth on why Morevil revived us!" Metallic Grant looks at her, wondering about this. "Do tell!" he asks her, feeling interested about the truth. Lady Darcine gets ready to explain about the whole thing.
Grande Morevils Lair - Storage Room
Telegator grabs Clondurk into the storage room, they both whisper to each other "Clondurk, we gotta help Lady Darcine out of this! We were involved as well!" Telegator says to him. Clondurk nods, but isn't sure how to do this, "we gotta find a way to get rid of them once and for all. We can't have too many villains take over!" it says to the gator. Telegator responds, "I will find something online to know more about the Phantom Thieves History. You keep doing what Morevil wants you to do." Clondurk responds "on it!" They both part ways, going to their destinations.
Convenience Store
Tara drags Austin to the Convenience Store in the middle of downtown. She says to him "wait here!" Tara goes inside. Austin is confused, he sits on the curb wondering what Tara is up to. She comes back out with a plastic bag filled with items. Austin asks Tara "What is that?" Tara shushes him and drags him out of the area. They hustle over to an abandoned building.
Abandoned Building
Austin sits with Tara, feeling confused, he asks her "what is in that? And why here?" Tara shushes Austin, she takes out a bottle of Malt Liquor. Austin is shocked "what? Where? Or how?" he asks her. Tara whips out a fake id card "you can call me Olivia Hart" as she shows the fake name on the fake id card. Austin is speechless, he doesn't know what to say. Tara opens the bottle and takes a drink, she then offers some to Austin. "Come on, you don't wanna do everything your parents put on you!" she says to him. Austin isn't sure "but, that's illegal! I-I'm only sixteen." Tara responds "so am I, but I'm twenty four according to my fake!" she smirks after saying this. Austin thinks about his parents, what would they say to him? But he also thinks about the stress and unnecessary things they make him do, he hates the trumpet and the french horn, he even hates being on the school committees and having to travel with the honors club filled with snobby kids. Tara is about to take another drink, but Austin snatches the bottle away from Tara and chugs it, taking away the pain and suffering. Tara is impressed by Austin. Austin chugs it until the bottle is empty, he throws the bottle far across the room, the glass bottle hits the wall and shatters into millions of pieces. Tara smirks at Austin, she drinks her own bottle, they drink and drink all evening.
Moments Later, they both dance to the music being played. They enjoy the good night. Tara dances with a bottle of devils springs vodka. She takes a sip and gets Austin to dance with him. Austin takes the bottle and drinks, it is hard liquor, but he enjoys it. They both dance together until they get closer and closer, Austin enjoys the night out with Tara. They kiss, Tara drops the bottle, she wraps her arms around Austins neck, hugging him. They both embrace, enjoying their time together. Austin forgets all about what his parents have been doing to him, he forgets everything that is troubling to him. All he can do is feel rebellious, especially around Tara.
Phantom Thief Mansion
The Phantom Thieves fly into the old abandoned mansion. They see that it is all in one piece "just like we left it, only a little dirty" Woodward says about the place. "Our old hideout!" calls out Vassel spinning around for joy. "I'm so happy that this place is still standing!" said Rave. Silvia walks up the stairs and goes over to the balcony, he looks at an old picture frame of his good looking self, back when he was a human. "We have a lot to look over at this place" Silvia says while observing his old self, he then turns around and looks over the balcony "but our new and better selves will have revenge against Angel Grove!' he says, giving out an evil smirk. Vassel nods "we will take back what is ours! Long live The Phantom Thieves" he yells out! Silvia opens up a portal, it shows the innocence of the citizens, he looks though different parts of the city, including a showing of Austin and Tara making out. Silvia grows jealous with rage, he thinks about his past life. How he lost someone dearly.
Abandoned Building
It is the next morning, Austin wakes up with a pounding headache. Next to him is Tara, leaning her head on his shoulder. He wonders how long he's been out, he jumps up and looks over his phone, thinking that his parents are worried about him. Tara wonders what is going on with Austin "what are you doing?" she asks him. Austin responds "it's my parents!" he checks his pockets for his phone, it is gone. "Where did my phone go!" he asks while scattering all over the place trying to find it. Tara takes her phone out of her shirt "you mean this?" she says while holding it in her hand. Austins jaw drops "wha-why do you hav-" he has trouble speaking, he runs over to the exposed window sill and pukes. Tara responds "you were puking last night and I held on to your phone. I saw your texts from your parents and texted them telling em that you were sleeping at Williams place." Austin turns his head, he asks "wait! How do you know I'm friends with William?" Tara shows him the texts, the text says "are you at Williams place? Your father and I are worried about you!" Austin is about to speak, but Tara says "you're welcome!" while booping his nose. She then walks over to the stairway, "Let's go get something at the waffle house!" Tara calls out to him. Austin wants to say something, but his communicator goes off, Tara turns around looking at him with a 'what are you doing?' look. He says to her "I got something going on…." Austin dashes away from Tara. Tara tries to catch up but he vanishes. Tara bites her lip in frustration.
Angel Grove Park
A Monster that looks like a phone (an iphone) with chargers sticking out like arms and legs attacks the place. Minh, William, and Sav are all fighting the monster. "I sure wish Beverly was here" Sav says to them. "I wish Austin is here!" said Minh, she is concerned with his whereabouts. The Red Ranger teleports into battle, he takes out his power sword and slashes the monster. "Good timing!" said Sav, as he runs up to him. William asks Austin "where have you been?" before Austin could answer, Minh tells them "guys, we're not done yet!" The phone monster rises up growling with rage "I, iClaw, will have you guys deleted!" he says to the rangers. Austin says to him "what are you gonna do? Send us a long text message!" iClaw throws a few texts, flying towards the rangers. They dodge the attack, iClaw charges towards the rangers. Minh and Austin charge while William and Sav fire their blade blasters at him. Austin jumps up using his power sword to slash the monster. Minh also jumps up and slashes the monster with her power daggers. iClaw is destroyed.
Smog pops out and seeps back into the corpse of iClaw, he grows into a giant. Minh is about to call out the zords, but a giant dragon walks into the city. The rangers see the giant zord walking into the city, it is the Dragonzord. William wonders why it is there? The Dragonzord fires missiles from its fingers, blasting towards iClaw. Minh asks "Wait, Uncle Billy, I don't remember calling out the Dragonzord?" feeling confused.
Back at the command center
Billy looks at the screen, he is confused as well. "I don't recall sending out Dragonzord. I still haven't fully upgraded it!" he says to Minh. He clicks on some buttons on the control panel, he tries to find the database on the zord.
Cut back to the park
The Dragonzord fires its missiles towards the phone monster, causing some damage. The Green Ranger calls out "fire dragon breath!" The Dragonzord breathes out some yellow-greenish breath. It is just like a flamethrower but no orangey flame. iClaw is badly damaged.
Cut to Grande Morevils Lair
Grande Morevil slams his hand on the table "no! I didn't want my monster to be destroyed that easily!" he screams with rage. Telegator picks up his phone and says "bring out the hard liquor. He's gonna need it after this…"
Cut back to the zord battle
The Dragonzord uses its drill to add more damage to the monster. It turns around and starts to drill into the screen of the monster. There is a big hole in iClaw, he blows up.
Cut to the command center
Billy looks through the zords in his database, he commands "Alpha, deactivate the Dragonzord!" Alpha responds "Right away Billy" Alpha is getting ready to deactivate the dragonzord, but the command center goes black. "Ai yai yai! We lost power, Billy!" he says to him. Billy is shocked too "not just the command center. The whole building is out!" he says, trying to check the circuits.
Cut to the entire building
The whole Cranston Technology Building goes off, everyone is confused. They are all wondering what is going on in the building. A machine in the main computer room goes off, a worker gets mad, because the files that are getting downloaded into the main computer are interrupted. One worker, from the bathroom stall screams "oh come on!" he is mad that the power has gone off while doing his business.
Cut back to downtown
The Dragonzord teleports away from the city. Minh calls Billy "Billy?" she checks her communicator again "hello?" The communicators are all off. The rangers are still in their ranger form. The Green Ranger teleports out of her cockpit and goes over to the rangers. Minh runs up to her "what are y-" she is cut off, the Green Ranger pushes Minh away and fires her laser towards the Tux Rucks. Minh is shocked, even the other three rangers. The Green Ranger nods at them and teleports away. Minh is speechless, she thought she was gonna get beat up. Sav isn't sure how to react to this. William is wondering what has caused the power communicators to go off. Austin stands there, looking at what could've been an ambush to him and his group having their lives saved. William asks everyone "what is going on here?" he tries to teleport, it barely works for him. Nothing works for the rangers, they have no ability to teleport. "Why can't we teleport?" asked William. Sav is also confused, "I don't understand? This is something that shouldn't happen?" Austin however, walks away. He demorphs and walks away to where he should meet Tara. Sav demorphs and runs over to Austin, "where you going?" Austin responds "mind your business!" Sav says back to Austin "don't tell me it's that new girl at our school!" Austin ignores him. Sav continues "you're in a relationship! What would Beverly say about this?" Austin says back to Sav "well, you know what? This girl understands me! Not Beverly!" he walks away from Sav. Sav just stands there, he goes over to him "but you can't do this! Don't cheat!" Austin asks Sav "but don't you just use girls!?" Sav responds "no! I just take them out on dates! I don't cheat!" Austin responds "then tell that to Maria!" he pushes him away after saying that. William and Minh go over to Sav, wondering what Austin did.
Cranston Technologies - Command Center
William, Sav, and Minh make it back to the command center, by an uber. Alpha informs them on the blackout in the whole building. William tries to look for a circuit breaker in the command center. Billy goes out to his company and informs his workers on the blackout. Minh and Sav help restore the command center, they check the stats and the data on the zords. Sav goes to the monitor and looks around the city. Alpha is wondering what Sav is doing "Sav, why are you looking through the city?" he asks him. Sav looks through the city's surveillance, he responds to Alpha "I'm looking for Austin!?"
Club 02
Austin and Tara go to a nightclub called 'Club 02' on the edge of downtown. They carry their fake ids, they are both accepted into the club. There are a few college kids, young adults, and older adults in the club having a good time. Austin wears a red button up shirt with blue jeans. Tara wears a short-skirted green sparkly dress. Both Tara and Austin dance the night away, especially along with the song 'Dance the Night Away' by Dua Lipa playing in the background. Austin has his second drink, while he is dancing, he clears his head feeling better about himself. He grinds on Tara, they are both grinding on the dance floor while the lights are flashing. Tara turns over to Austin, she takes out a small baggie with a few pills in it. "Wanna take this stuff? We'll have a great night!" she yells out to him. Austin wants to reject, but then decides "what the hell!" he yells back, and swallows it. They both feel faded, but not to faint, but faded like they are floating above. Both Austin and Tara keep dancing, they get close and close and start to makeout.
Fade to Black
Phantom Mansion - Ballroom
On the ground there is a star on the bottom with a circle and a few ovals surrounding the star. The Phantom Thieves throw the passed out brain dead being that they discovered during their revival. One by one, the Phantoms bring back the brain damaged being back to normal, he is a lot stronger and powerful than what he was before the big defeat back at Dusklin. The being roars in excitement, he looks at the group. He says to the group "I am Omen! And I am back baby!" he roars with pride. Silvia chuckles "good, good. You will be great use to our crew!" he says to Omen. The recovered knight has some new dark armor that is placed on him, he feels more powerful than ever. Omen is pleased, he hasn't been back to normal in years. His brain is fully recovered and his strength is very powerful. He feels like he could take down 15 army tanks. The Phantom Thieves have their own knight to help them with their strength.
Cranston Technologies - Command Center
Billy and William fix the command center. It is back up and running. William is worried for Austin. Billy is confused about why he tried to shut down the Dragonzord, the power went out. "This mysterious green ranger must've hacked the zord. I can't even keep the power coin in my radar?" He says to William. "I agree! When Minh did that, I managed to find her. But this… this is something else…" William says back. Alpha tries to look through the zords, "the Dragonzord is out of our commission!" He says to them. "But that's impossible!" said Billy, as he goes over to the screen. All he sees on the screen are the six zords: SaberTooth Tiger, Tyrannosaurus, Mastodon, Triceratops, Pterodactyl, and Titanus. "But why are they still on our screen, but not the Dragonzord?" Billy says in confusion. William asks Billy a question "wait? When was the last place you could think of that the green ranger power was activated?" Billy looks at William and looks at the screen thinking for a moment "the last time that was activated was…." Billy thinks and then realizes where it was last used, he yells out "Reefside!" Billy gets an idea "I know someone who could possibly help us!" He says to Alpha and William. "Wait, I'll come too!" William says to Billy. Billy stops him "no! You must stay back and help the other rangers!" William rebels "but I must!" He says back. Billy stops him again "no! This is something I need to do! I need you to help out and find something about the green ranger and her identity!" He says to William. Billy gets ready to take a business trip up to Reefside.
Sunnyshore Beach - Cabin
Morning has come, Austin wakes up wondering how he got into this place, he looks to his left, he sees a sleeping Tara right next to him. Austin is shocked, he looks at his phone to see if he has any notifications on it. There are missed calls and texts coming from his friends. They are all wondering where he is. He gets out of bed and checks his communicator, it hasn't even gone off, he wonders what or where he is. A sleeping Tara turns, she opens her eyes wondering why Austin is so tense "hey babe, what are you doing?" she rubs her eyes trying to wake up. Austin looks around and asks "where are we? And what is going on?" he asks her. Tara smirks "you had a great two days!" Austins eyes open really wide, he screams "two days!?"
Cut to the Angel Grove Terminal
Angel Grove Airport - Terminal
Minh, William, Sav, and a few other kids from their school all wait for Beverly. Minh is worried about Austin, she hasn't seen him in days. "I think he's fine, probably showing up late!" Sav says to him. "That's the problem, he's never late" Minh says to Sav. William is also worried for him "you don't think the Phantom Thieves got to him?" he asks. Minh responds "no, I think Alpha or Uncle Billy would've said something." William says to Minh "I've been so busy with my internship that I haven't even gotten the time to check on Austin." Sav wonders about Austin and his whereabouts, he thinks that Austin is with that new girl. Even William is concerned about his buddy. Not only Sav is worried for Austin but for Beverly as well. He wonders if he should say something to everyone, he thinks deeply for a moment, he then gets back into reality when Sally calls out "hey, Beverly's here!" the entire group looks over to see Beverly come over. They all cheer for her. The other cheerleaders (that went to camp with Beverly) look at Beverly, feeling jealous. Beverly smiles out of excitement, she comes over to the group, feeling very surprised "Guys! Everyone!" she goes over to hug Minh, Sav, and William. She then looks around while hugging all of her peers, trying to find Austin. The trio gets worried for him.
Meanwhile…
Sunnyshore Beach - Cabin
Tara explains that they won a free stay in the cabin from a raffle. "I told you, we won!" she says to Austin. Austin looks around, trying to process the whole thing. He looks to see a few opened up beer bottles and a few opened up condom packets all over the bed, he is shocked. "You were pretty good for a first timer" Tara says to him with a smile. Austins head pounds, he wants to know what is going on. As he tries to process the whole thing, he backs up into a chair. He knocks a backpack over, falling out of it are a few personal items that belong to Tara. Austin sees something that looks familiar to him, he sees a golden power morpher with a dragon symbol on it. Austin stares at the power morpher with shock. He crawls back to the wall, not knowing what to do. He stutters trying to say a word. He finally says in complete shock "no! It can't be? You?" he stares at her with his jaw dropped. Tara knows that the cat is out of the bag, she says to him in a serious tone "Hello Red Ranger."
