Different Divisions Part 1
Kwan / Taylor Household - Minhs Room
The sunlight shines through the upper window of Minhs bedroom. The light touches the closed eyelids of the sleeping Minh. Minh wakes up before her alarm goes off. It is five minutes before the alarm goes off, she gets out of bed, grabs her robe, takes off her sleep tank and sleep shorts, puts on her robe, then goes to her bathroom to shower.
Kwan / Taylor Household - Bathroom
Minh gets out of the shower and dries off, she puts her robe back on. She looks into the mirror, she feels a huge pain in the back of her head. She goes into the medicine cabinet to take an aspirin. After taking it, she still feels the pain. Minh doesn't understand what or why she feels different or in pain.
There is a knock on her door, it grabs her attention. It is Billy from behind the door "Minh, make sure you get ready for school. You have a lot to get ready for today!" he says to her. Minh calls out to Billy "okay Uncle Billy!" After he walks away, Minh thinks for a moment wondering what Billy is doing at her house? She then realizes that Billy always comes and visits her and Zack. She shrugs it off and goes to her bedroom.
Kwan / Taylor Household - Minhs Room
After Minh gets dressed, she realizes that she has more red clothing than she usually does. She doesn't remember having too much red. But she shrugs it off, knowing that she doesn't even try to dress up in her mothers ranger color. Why Minh doesn't dress up in yellow too much is to make it less obvious that she is a power ranger. She feels like wearing red anyway just for the hell of it. She hopes that it doesn't make Tara jealous. Minh grabs her house keys from her desk. After grabbing her keys, she realizes that it is a little heavy, she looks and notices that she has car keys attached to them. Minh is confused, she doesn't know why she has car keys?
Kwan / Taylor Household - Living Room
Minh walks out of her bedroom and goes into the hallway, she grabs a cinnamon bun from the table. She takes a bite out of it. After she eats and drinks her coffee, she yells "goodbye Uncle Zack! I'll see you at dinner tonight!" There is no response, Minh shrugs her shoulders, realizing that Zack has gone to city hall early. Minh steps outside of the house.
Kwan / Taylor Household - Driveway
Minh steps outside of the house, she checks her car keys and presses the unlock button. A red sports car flashes its lights. Minh is shocked, it must be a surprise from her Uncle Billy. She doesn't know why it is red, but doesn't question it. She says to herself "I will have to thank Uncle Billy the next time I see him." Minh gets excited, she jumps for joy, she gets inside of the car and drives off to school.
Angel Grove High School - Parking Lot
Minh parks her car at the student parking lot. She gets out of the car, locks it, and goes to the building. Minh is too excited to have her own car. As she goes up the back stairway, a skateboarder grinds up the rails. The skateboarder grinds up the three step stairway, he jumps off, does a hard flip, and crashes into Minh. Minh and the skater fall on the ground. "Hey, watch where you're going! You could've killed someone!" she says angrily, scolding the skateboarder. The skater looks familiar to her, she realizes that it is Sav. "Sav?" she asks him, feeling confused. Sav is wearing a black t-shirt and camo cargo shorts along with some skateboarding shoes. He picks up his skateboard and says to her "what's up babe!" Minh looks at him with a weird look on her face "Sav? Don't call me 'babe', you have a girlfriend!" Sav looks at her "girl, you know I'm a one time thing!" he says to her, brushing the dirt off of his shoulder. He picks up his skateboard and walks away, he turns around and says to her "you know a girlfriend ain't my thing!" He skateboards through the school property. A few kids watch Sav and enjoy his skateboarding, a few girls awe him. Minh is confused, she thinks to herself "Sav is usually with Maria? He can't even skateboard to save his life" she says to herself.
Angel Grove High School - Hallway
Minh walks into the school, it feels the same but there is something strange going on here. She goes over to her locker, she trips on something but manages to stand. Minh looks down to see a goth dressed in all black with pink highlights in her hair. Minh takes a look at her, she asks her in a confused tone "Beverly? Is that you?" The goth looks up at her, it is Beverly. "Black smoke is what remains of the dead! Black smoke is the killer and I am the light to set the fire through the living!" She says to her. Minh is confused, Beverly explains "this is part of my poem, the black smoke. The fire may have killed my parents, but I am the fire to destroy the dark evil for my own matters!" Minh is confused "but, your parents survived the fire. They were worried for you?" She says to her. Beverly looks down, "too bad they didn't, or this world would be different than what we are living in now!" she says to Minh, hiding her emotions.
Minh gets a huge pain in her head, she drops her books on the ground, she crouches down, grabbing the back of her head. Beverly sees this, she smiles and says "embrace the pain! Do not ignore your dark feelings! Keep bringing out those tears!" she smiles in amusement. Minh gets up and runs away from the weirdness of Beverly. Beverly ignores Minh for being so weird "weirdness is nothing like the real Minh?" she says. "But the whole world is weird in it's own ways!" she says to herself. Beverly takes out a notebook and writes inside of it. Minh goes over to the basement to get a little privacy.
Angel Grove High School - Basement
Minh runs downstairs, she is crying in pain from the back of her head. She wonders what is going on? Why is this different? She thinks for a moment, until she gets caught by a man in a black leather jacket. Minh turns to her right to see a guy with a black leather jacket and a blue tank top and blue jeans. He does a little snap, and dances through the hallway. Acting like a wannabe West Side Story character.
Minh looks at the guy, she realizes that it is William. William says to her "you do know, that the basement is off limits!" He helps her up. "William?" she asks him, Minh looks at him with a confused look "why are you dressed up like someone from West Side Story?" William gives her a nasty look "I am not a character from that! We did that shit last year!" she says, scolding her for being incorrect. William takes a breather and explains himself "the school is doing Grease! And I am killing to be the star of this show! That's why I got the lead!" Minh is confused, "Lead? You never even try to get up on stage? Only for a little bit!" she says to him. William responds "I always get on stage! I'm an actor for gods sake! I just did a commercial last week and an ad for tablets!" William takes out a picture of himself, advertising a tablet from his dads company. He is the spokesperson of McDaniel Tech Industries.
Minh wonders what is up with him. "Okay this is weird, since when did Sav become a skateboarder? And when did Beverly become an emo?" She asks him. William is confused "you know Beverlys been emo since she lost her parents. And Sav has had a laid back life since he was born! He always loved skateboarding like a wannabe Tony Hawk!" He explains to her. Minh is feeling confused after what William has explained to her. William notices how confused Minh is feeling, he asks her "you feeling okay?" Minh doesn't say anything, she scurries back upstairs to go find Austin and Tara. William picks up his phone to call someone.
Angel Grove High School - Hallway
Minh scurries upstairs, she wonders where Austin and Tara are? She goes all over the school. The same people she knows either look the same or different. She goes into the weight room to see if there is any sign of either Austin or Tara.
Angel Grove High School - Weight Room
Minh goes into the weight room, she sees a few athletes lifting weights. She looks around trying to find any sign of those two. She hears the loud slam of a barbell landing on the rack. Minh turns to see Austin wiping the sweat off of his face with a rag. George just finished helping Austin set him. Minh ignores the fact that George is somehow alive and calls out to Austin. Austin waves at Minh, he drinks his water bottle filled with a protein mixture. Minh asks Austin "there is something strange going on here! I do not remember any of this existing! Not sure how or why everyone is different! But we need to find out why or how Grande Morevil is doing all of this!" She explains to him. Austin looks at her, feeling confused "bitch, what the fuck you talking about?" Minh gets offended by Austin. She shoves him by the shoulders, but hurts her fingers in the process. Austin is never jacked, he doesn't look like it on the outside. "Austin? When did you get jacked?" she asks him. Austin responds "like forever bitch! I've been helping our football team Win States three times these past few seasons! Now I'm hoping to help make this shit happen for our junior year!" he explains to her.
Minh is about to lecture Austin about why calling a girl a bitch is bad, but gets a call on her communicator. She responds to the call, it is Alpha "rangers, get to the park! There is an attack going on!" Minh and Austin leave the room to go find a place to teleport over.
Angel Grove Park
The Five Rangers teleport over to the park, they go over to see the Tux Rucks and Red Tux Rucks trashing the park. Austin nods at the group, he says to them "let's do it guys!" They all shout out "Ninja Ranger Power Now!" Minh pauses, wondering what she just heard? As she stands there, she watches the four transform into not their ranger forms but their Ninjetti Forms. But there is something off, she looks to see that Austin is wearing Yellow instead of her.
The Ninjetti Rangers fight off the Tux Rucks. Austin commands the group to throw their power shurikens at the Henchmen. They all nod and throw their shurikens at the henchmen, knocking them down.
The Red Tux Rucks sneak behind Minh, trying to ambush her. Minh sees them and fights off the Red Rucks. Minh wonders what or where these Ninjetti powers came from? She doesn't have time to ask, so she decides to use her Ninjetti Powers "Ninja Ranger Power Now!" Minh morphs into the Red Ninjetti Ranger. Minh is confused, she is wondering why she is wearing Red instead of Yellow? But she doesn't wanna think about it. Minh, in her Red Ninjetti Ranger Form, fights off the Red Tux Rucks. Red versus Red, Minh tries out the new moves. She speeds over from one Tux Ruck to another, throwing them off. Minh then splits into five, she throws a fire bomb at the remaining Red Tux Rucks, they all fall down.
Minh is shocked that she has the abilities to morph and fight like a Ninja. But doesn't know what or why she has the red ranger powers instead? Minh continues to fight off each and every Tux Ruck there are. The rangers are all impressed with Minh. "Fall, Fall, and Fall with the winds of Pink!" said Beverly, as she creates a miniature pink twister, knocking down each and every Tux Ruck. Minh helps Beverly knock down the henchmen creating her own miniature red tornado. Each and every one of the Foot Soldiers fall down, they are defeated by mostly Minh.
After the Tux Rucks fall down and vanish, the rest of the rangers demorph, they look at Minh, wondering what is going on with their leader. Minh demorphs, she goes over to Austin and tries to give him his morpher back. Austin is confused "Minh? That's your morpher!" he says to her. Minh is confused "no, that's yours. This isn't funny!" she says to him. Austin rebels "no, that's your Morpher! You wanted your dads ranger powers!" he yells at her. Minh gets furious "are you shitting me!? Drop the act! We are the Power Rangers! My dad was never a ranger! Only my mom!" she screams at him. William backs Austin up "girl, both your parents were rangers!" Minh pauses, wondering what this is about? "Your Mom and Dad were both rangers, they were the proudest pair of rangers ever" said Sav. Minh asks Sav "both of my parents?" Austin responds "yeah, even before your dad died and your mom fell into a coma." Minh is shocked, she doesn't know what to do but run away from the group. Austin calls Alpha from his communicator "Alpha, I think we have a problem with Minh? She's acting really weird" he says to his communicator.
Kwan / Taylor Household - Living Room
Minh storms back into the house, she realizes that there is something different about the house. It is not licensed under Zack Taylor, it is licensed under Billy Cranston instead. Minh sees an old picture of her mother but in place of her father is Jason instead. There is a plaque of both Jason and Trini honoring their sacrifice towards their life. Minh notices a miniature statue of both Jason and Trini. She hears the sound of her Uncle Billy, Minh asks him "Uncle Billy?" feeling worried about what is going on. Billy responds "Minh? Are you okay?" Minh listens, but doesn't hear the sound of footsteps, instead she hears the sound of something rolling into the living room. Minh jaw drops, she sees Billy in a wheelchair. Billy asks Minh if there is something wrong? Minh falls down and passes out.
Fade to Black
Minh wakes up, lying on the couch. She explains to Billy that she has had a weird dream that she was in a different world. She wakes up fully to realize that Billy is in a wheelchair. Minh freaks out again, wondering what is going on?
Kat runs into the room, she is concerned with Minh "Minh honey, are you okay?" she asks, worried for her. Minh gets a little lightheaded, she is confused about this world. "Oh god, what is going on? What is this?" she asks them both. Kat takes out her walkie talkie, she speaks into it "come in, we have a code yellow!" Minh is confused "code yellow?" she leaps off of the couch and storms outside. Billy asks Kat "what is going on? She has been acting weird since we found her." Kat responds "I don't know Billy, but I think we need to find her before she does something to make herself worse."
Minhs Neighborhood
Minh runs outside panicking, she is confused on what is going on? She runs down the neighborhood to find anything that could make sense to her. She keeps running and running wondering what is going on. She looks at a billboard to see an advertisement for the next election for mayor. It says 'Vote for Adam Park' Minh is confused about the billboard. She runs through another neighborhood, she goes over to a random house and picks up a newspaper, it says the correct date and year. Wondering what is going on? She then hears the sound of a shotgun, she turns around to see that it is Fran. "So you're the asshole that has been stealing my newspapers!" he says, wanting to blow her head off. Minh puts her hands up in the air and begs for any answers. "Please Fran! It's me Minh!" she says to him. Fran is confused "Minh who!" he says, pointing the shotgun at her. "Minh Kwan! You served me and my friends a lot back at the juice bar! My Uncle Zack saved your Uncle's place!" she says to him, screaming for mercy. Fran is confused "juice bar? That place burned down years ago! Nobody saved that place!" he says to her. Fran is about to blow her head off until he hears the sound of tires screeching. Multiple gunshots are heard going down the neighborhood. Minh ducks behind a bush. She gets out to see Fran chasing down the punks shooting at the houses, he shoots his shotgun at the car the punks are driving in. Minh runs away from all of this.
Downtown Angel Grove
Minh heads over to see a few buildings have been destroyed. She wonders what has happened, she sees Sally all dressed up like a hooker. "Sally? Why are you dressed like this?" she asks her. Sally responds "I've always been like this. You think it is easy living on my own?" Minh doesn't know what to say, but says one thing "you're class secretary! You're involved in student council! You're a new student tour guide! You're an honors student and the daughter of two successful parents who love you!" Sally looks at Minh, feeling disgusted "was! They died two years ago from Robo Rita! Now I gotta sell my body for my own living!" she says to Minh.
Minh runs away, not believing any of this. She goes over to the deepest parts of downtown. There are some destroyed businesses all over the place. A bunch of homeless people sleeping everywhere in the abandoned buildings, including under some broken vehicles. She wonders what is going on?
Minh keeps running downtown, but she gets jumped by a few robbers. Minh fights them off using her moms technique. One of the robbers tries to get up and stab Minh. Out of nowhere, Tux Rucks come out and ambush Minh. The robbers run away not wanting to get involved in the fight. Minh fights them off, but not until Robo Rita comes out. "I thought I captured you Minh! But I can do it again!" she says in an angry tone. Minh faces the camera and yells "It's Morphin Time!"
"Red Ranger Power!"
Minh morphs into her 'Red Ranger Form' and fights off Robo Rita. Rita and Minh fight, knocking each other around. She hasn't fought off Robo Rita since she first became a ranger. She wonders how Robo Rita is still alive and wonders what she is talking about? They fight in a swordfight, Minh using her Power Sword and Robo Rita using her Staff.
Robo Rita sends a shockwave towards Minh, knocking her back. Minh falls and lands on her back. She tries to get up, but Rita stomps on Minhs leg, she points her staff at her "any last words!" she says with a growl. Minh is about to get up, but sees a figure in White giving her a flying karate kick. The White Ranger gives Robo Rita a flying karate kick, right into the jaw.
The White Ranger asks Minh if she is okay. Her voice sounds familiar to her. Rita takes out her claws to strike down the White Ranger. The White Ranger takes out Saba to help her out. Minh takes out her power sword and helps the white ranger out. Both Red and White Rangers have the advantage towards Rita. Rita tries to push away the two rangers. Both rangers do a side karate kick right into the stomach of Robo Rita. Robo Ritas gears and circuits fall out of her. "My gears!" she cries out. Robo Rita wants to keep fighting, but she starts to fall apart. She looks at the two rangers and yells "you hadn't seen the last of me!" After yelling, more and more gears fall out of her. Robo Rita throws some bombs at the Red and White Rangers, they dodge right before Robo Rita teleports back to base.
Minh and the White Ranger demorph, the White Ranger is Tara. Minh is shocked to see that it is Tara wearing the White Ranger suit. "You're the White Ranger?!" she asks, feeling shocked by Tara's new suit. Tara speaks into her communicator "I found her. This is the Minh we need!" she says into her communicator. Minh is confused "wait? What's going on here?" she asks Tara. Tara reaches out her hand and says "come with me. if you wanna know!"
Command Center
Tara and Minh teleport into the Command Center. It is a lot different than the command center that Minh is used to. It is dark and damp, the ground is pretty foggy, there are some rocky walls and a few computer systems in the room. Minh doesn't question the command center, but wants answers on why everything is different. "What is this place?" she asks Tara "and why is everything so different?"
Tara calls out to the shadowy hallway "I found her!" she yells to the shadows. Minh is confused, not getting the answer she wants.
Walking out of the shadows, is Ninjor. Minh is surprised to see that it is Ninjor, she remembers him helping her and her team in another encounter. Ninjor speaks to the Red Ranger "you have questions to ask. Well, I have the answers" he pauses. Minh is confused, she says to Ninjor "yes, what is this place? And why am I in a different color?" Ninjor responds "you are not the Minh we found. You are the Minh of another world!" he says to her. Minh stands there, realizing that she isn't from this world at all. She stands there, shocked in horror.
