Brody, in Ranger form, stumbles out of the bushes and looks around before spotting a key floating on a pedestal. He walks toward it and grabs it, only for it to shock his arm.
Slowly zoom in as the pedestal shakes and a red and black pulse bursts outward. Cut to black.
Yeah! Alright!
Red binary slowly starts descending from above. The Paleo Force logo fades into view, followed by Techno walking in from behind it. He raises a hand and fires a blast at the screen.

In a white void, Brody grabs Cooper's shoulder, only for him to shatter into red and black pixels. Brody rushes for Duncan and Jane, growing increasingly distraught as they shatter as well. With them all gone, he looks around in a panic.
Brody lifts up a rock, revealing a red cross token. He runs up a wall in Electric-Type to grab a boxing glove token. Still in Electric-Type, he zigzags through a field, gathering up joint tokens.

Brody looks at his right hand as it flickers red and black. He clenches it and runs, leaping off the edge of a hill, landing in a field in a three-point landing. As he stands up and draws his Switch-Gun, he looks ahead to see Simba, who's grinning maliciously at him.
We get a long shot of them from the side with bigger versions of them overhead.

Brody brandishes his swords as a group of Shadows surround him. He leaps up and cleaves two of them in half in slow motion.
A bunch of the Shadows fuse into a giant Super Shadow. The Super Shadow punches the ground, just missing Brody. Brody runs by its legs, slashing its ankles and bringing it to its knees. He turns back and leaps at it and slashes its neck.

Brody runs across a field toward CJ, who takes a fighting stance. Changing to Electric-Type once again, he accelerates. CJ throws a flaming punch, which Brody meets with an electric punch. The collision creates an explosion of fire and lightning.
Brody clutches his head and screams at the sky as his body flickers red and black.
We get a side shot of Brody running toward large, red cubes containing his friends. The final shot is a POV shot of Brody's outstretched hand reaching out to them.
"Uh, are you jokin', lad?" Cooper asked.
"No, I'm not joking! Why is there a robot in here!?" Brody shouted.
Kenny raised an eyebrow, "I built him months ago."
"I've been helping you fight monsters," G2 added. "You don't remember?"
"No, not at all," Brody answered.
While G2 slumped over in dejection, Kenny asked Cooper, "What happened on the island?"
"Nothin'. Except for-" Cooper paused as it dawned on him. "I get it. Of course it wouldn't be that easy."
"What do you mean?" the two high schoolers asked.
"I mean something about that key and those tokens must've messed with your head," the Scotsman explained.
"It did?" Brody sighed. "You know what? That's actually not surprising."
"We'd better check to be sure you're not too messed up in the head," Cooper stated. "Am I Irish or Scottish?"
Brody awkwardly looked away before guessing, "Irish?"
His friends' eyes widened. Brody had had to remind Duncan of Cooper's nationality more than once, so this was a red flag.
Kenny went next. After a second of deliberation, he came up with his question, "What score did you get on last week's geography quiz?"
"What's geography?" Brody asked in response.
"Where is Pittsburgh?" G2 asked.
"I don't know what that is either."
"…How old are you?" Cooper ventured.
"17," the brown-haired boy answered, making his friends sigh in relief.
"I could send G2 with you for the next island?" Kenny suggested. "He may be able to handle the shock without consequence."
Brody shook his head, "That won't work. That robot guy said he wanted me to do it alone. It's all up to me." He clutched his right side. "I'm gonna look for an icepack."
As their friend walked out of the room, Cooper asked Kenny something else, "So, what are you buildin' here? I see some fancy-lookin' parts layin' around." Cooper came to regret the question since his answer was just a bunch of technobabble.
Brody came back into the room a minute later, pressing an ice pack against his side, "Alright, I've caught my breath. I think I'm ready for the next island." With that, he went out the door.
The second he did, a new screen appeared in Kenny's living room, startling everyone remaining. "Don't mind me. I just want you to give you a front row seat to your friend's endeavor," Techno said casually. "I've put screens in the cages of your other two friends as well. I'm sure they'll enjoy the show."
Duncan's eyes widened a bit as Brody approached the entry point to his island. "Well, guess I'm getting out of here next."
"Don't get ahead of yourself," Techno said, appearing on a screen within the cage. "Just wait until he—Wait, where'd you get that muffin?"
Duncan swallowed a bite from his blueberry muffin, "Muffin button."
Techno was stumped, "…But I didn't put a muffin button in there."
"You didn't?" Duncan tilted his head.
"No, that never even crossed my mind."
Duncan looked at the snack in his hand, "Then where did I get this muffin?"
Techno shook his head, "You know what? Never mind. Hope you enjoy watching your brother squirm."
As the screen disappeared, Duncan lied back in his cube, "I doubt he'll squirm that much. He's usually on top of stuff."
Brody looked around and took in the scenery. In a sharp contrast from the desert he'd been in before, this island was a lush grassland with a couple batches of trees, some hills with varying levels of steepness, and a lake off in the distance. He whistled, "Gotta admit, this is beautiful."
"Glad you like it. It may be the last thing you ever see," Techno said as a screen appeared.
"You know, that's getting annoying," Brody deadpanned.
"Happy to be of service then," Techno snarked. "Anyway, welcome to Jurassic Island, where your precious brother resides."
Brody's eyes widened, "Duncan's here?"
Techno laughed, "You forgot your own brother is here? Ha! If you get through this, I wonder what'll leave your head next. Well, you know the drill. See ya!"
As the screen disappeared, Brody shifted into his Electric-Type form. Repeating his actions from the first island, he zipped all over, gathering a total of 20 Memory Tokens. These ones were shaped like pot plants. How fitting.
"Okay, ten to go," the Yellow Ranger commented to himself. "May as well find Duncan."
Thankfully, with super speed, finding the cyber cube was easy. Shifting back to his base form as he caught his breath, he touched the cube, freeing his brother.
Duncan floated to the ground. He looked at his hands, seeing he was still cyberized. He looked at Brody with a dull expression on his face, "And this is an improvement how?"
"I'm working on it, okay!?" Brody spat defensively. "Now, let me show you out of here, sir."
"Sir? What are you being so fancy for? And what are you using a southern accent for? I know it's you," Duncan asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Afraid I don't know what you're talki-"
"Cut the crap," the ginger teen cut him off. "Seriously, what's up with you?"
Realizing it was pointless, Brody dropped the act and sighed, "That obvious, huh?"
"Does it count as obvious if I knew from the start?" Duncan wondered.
"Wait, you knew?" Brody gawked under his mask.
"Of course I knew. I was less than ten feet away when you first transformed," Duncan pointed out.
"No you weren't," Brody shook his head. "I transformed alone, then-" He paused, "Shit, that must've been something I forgot."
"Forgot? How'd you forget that?" Duncan asked.
Brody sighed and began walking, gesturing for his brother to follow, "When I got back to Kenny's house, I didn't recognize the robot there." He continued as Duncan's eyes widened. "Mr. Cooper guessed that the keys I need to turn you guys back messed with my head."
"And you forgot that I'm a Ranger," Duncan finished.
"I also forgot what geography is," Brody added.
That made Duncan grin, "Really now? Where do you think Utah is then?"
"I'll answer that once we undo this mindfuck," Brody said, not falling for the bait.
"Fair enough. So, how do we do that?" Duncan asked, putting his hands in his pockets.
"I've gotta find Memory Tokens. Most of them were lying around for me to find, but there's always one batch that's hard to spot and get to," the Blue Ranger explained.
Duncan nodded and scanned the environment before focusing on the trees. "Some of those treetops look thick. Maybe there's a token or two hidden there."
"Worth a look," Brody agreed. The two walked over to the trees and Brody began climbing. Duncan attempted to climb as well, but he just phased right through the trees. Thankfully, his hunch turned out to be correct.
"Found one!" Brody leapt down from the treetops as the joint-shaped token absorbed into him.
"Ha! Never thought you'd be the one taking in a joint," Duncan joked.
"…I don't get it," Brody answered.
Duncan's eyes widened, "Wow, this is worse than I thought. Let's keep finding those tokens." The two resumed walking. Unfortunately, though, Duncan had no other ideas for where the other tokens could be hidden. "So, I've gotta ask: what the hell's up with your arm?"
"I don't know. It happened after I got the first key," Brody explained, looking at his flickering limb.
"…What do you think will happen if you get another key?" Duncan asked, concerned.
"I get one step closer to helping you guys," Brody said. Before Duncan could reply, the Blue Ranger, he felt another tremor. He sighed, "I guess this is gonna be a thing."
"What's gonna be a thing?" Duncan inquired.
Brody turned around and pointed, directing Duncan's attention to a Super Shadow approaching them. "That." Unlike his last encounter with this type of enemy, Brody simply stood in place while summoning his Carnage Sword.
Duncan looked from his brother to the giant Shadow and back again, "Uh, shouldn't you do something?"
"Don't worry, I've got a plan," Brody assured him.
Seeing that the Ranger wasn't moving, the Super Shadow lifted its foot and held it over him. Just before it could slam down, though, the front half of its foot fell off, courtesy of a charged slash from Brody.
"Hehe, sucker," the Branson brothers said in unison.
The Super Shadow staggered back from the injury but quickly recovered and attacked with a giant one-two punch.
Brody dodged the punches and slashed one of the Shadow's wrists. As the giant reeled from shock, he ran up to it, drawing his Switch-Gun. "Ranger-" Leaping up, he landed on its chest and pressed his gun against its skin, "-Contact Shoot!"
At such close range, the blast blew a hole in the Super Shadow's chest. Upon defeat, the Super Shadow split back into a bunch of regular Shadows. This released three Memory Tokens for Brody to take in, but to his and Duncan's surprise, that wasn't the end of it. The Shadows glowed red and began floating over to a steep hill about 30 yards away. Once they made it there, the Shadows' bodies painfully twisted and contorted as they transformed.
"Is that-" Duncan wondered aloud. He stopped himself when the transformation was complete, showing the Shadows had mostly been turned into bumpers with another two turning into flippers "Holy shit, it's a pinball game."
"Am I supposed to do something with it?" Brody asked no one in particular.
"What do you think?" Techno asked rhetorically as one of his screens popped into existence. "Play the game."
"How's he supposed to play pinball with no ball?" Duncan pointed out.
With an "ahem" Techno pointed behind them.
The two teens turned around to see that one of the Shadows' corpses had remained intact.
"With your 'ball,' simply score fifty thousand points in one go, and you'll get another batch of Memory Tokens," the robot informed them.
"You're kidding, right?" Brody asked.
"Do I look like I'm kidding?" Techno replied.
"Dude, you don't have a face. You don't 'look' like anything," Duncan joked.
"…Get to it, little man," Techno said as his screen disappeared.
The brothers stood there in silence for a minute before Duncan broke it, "Well, guess we've gotta literally play the game." He walked over to the dead Shadow and tried to pick it up, only for his hands to fade through it. "Oh, right. Hey, Brody, time for some heavy lifting."
Brody stowed his weapons and reluctantly picked up the corpse, bringing it over to the pinball game. As he set it down, he realized something, "Wait a minute. There are no side walls. How do I keep this thing from flying out while I play?"
"Easy, use some ice to make some walls," Duncan suggested.
Nodding, Brody drew his gun and carefully aimed his shots to form walls of ice around the bumpers, setting the stage for his game. Not knowing what else to do, he flung the Shadow's body into the bumpers. Every time the corpse bounced off one of them, a glowing 2 appeared in thin air, adding to an ever-growing score above the board. Whenever the corpse got too close to the bottom of the playfield, Brody would punch one or both of the flippers, launching it back up.
"I'll be honest, I feel a bit too much like a serial killer right now," Brody said as he watched the Shadow bounce.
"Yeah, a serial killer in a comedy," Duncan commented.
Brody did his best to keep the Shadow bouncing about but, eventually, it fell straight through the flippers, with the Ranger helpless to stop it. "Aw, fuck!" And so he began again…followed by another failure. A couple hours and several more failures saw the boy stopping to punch the ground in frustration.
"Uh, dude? Maybe you should take a break?" Duncan suggested.
Taking a deep breath, Brody stood up, "Fair enough. Besides, it's getting late. I should probably get dinner."
The group of assorted villains watched as the Branson brothers departed to the ground below.
"You're just letting them walk away?" Calios asked.
Techno laughed, "Walk away? No, the blue one will be back. He can't return his friends to normal otherwise. So what's the harm?"
"Pinball? They had you play fuckin' pinball? That's rich!" Cooper laughed.
"Not to Brody," Duncan joked. They both leaned into the kitchen, watching as Brody munched on a hot dog he'd ordered. Retreating back to the living room, the ginger teen asked Kenny, "So how've things been going with that project of yours?"
He got no proper answer. Kenny's eyes were bloodshot as he speed-read his way through a textbook about gravity.
Concerned, Cooper walked over to him and waved a hand in front of his face. Kenny didn't even blink and turned the page. "G2, mind bringin' him back to us?"
The yellow robot paused on the metal he was welding, walked over to his master, and bonked him on the head.
Snapping out of his funk, Kenny nodded at his robot buddy and grabbed some eye drops. "Your turn to study," he told G2 after putting in the drops.
G2 nodded and took the book while Kenny grabbed a welding mask.
At that point, Brody came out of the kitchen, "Alright, I've had a breather and I've got some food in me. I think I'm ready for another game of pinball."
"Actually, Brody, maybe you should take the rest of the night off," Cooper suggested.
"Same with you, Kenny," Duncan agreed. "You both have been doing stuff all day. You're gonna burn out if you don't get some sleep."
"Fine, just let me finish with this," Kenny said. Thirty more seconds of welding and he put the blowtorch away before stretching and yawning. "G2, continue while I'm sleeping."
"Hai," G2 saluted.
The next morning, Brody woke up, stretched, and looked around, "Where's Kenny?"
"He's out front, talking with Kelly about some plan of his," Duncan answered.
"Well, wish me luck," he said as he made for the door.
"Good luck. And don't worry. We'll be watchin' you every step of the way," Cooper smiled, aiming a thumb at the screen Techno had left in Kenny's house.
"Before you go, could you have the Cryos come over?" G2 asked. "Master said we would need their help for when all the GGs are done."
"GGs?" Duncan repeated, raising an eyebrow.
"Gravity generator," the robot clarified. "I made good progress last night.
Brody nodded and summoned the Cryo gang, who decided to crash in Kenny's basement until they were needed.
Brody returned to Jurassic Island and made his way back to the pinball game. "Alright, I can do this."
And so, he resumed the game. Needing to focus on the game, he couldn't pay any attention to his score. It killed him to not be able to keep track, but he pressed on anyway. After what felt like forever, he finally beat the game. The pinball components dissolved into nothing, save for a few more Memory Tokens for him to absorb.
"Alright, just three to go," the Blue Ranger said to himself.
"And to get 'em, you're gonna have to beat me."
Brody turned around to see Simba had arrived on the scene, his hands on his hips and a smug grin on his face. "Oh, great. You," the boy tapped his morpher, switching to his Electric-Type form yet again. "I guess now's as good a time to ask as any: do you have any personality besides the whole 'smug rival' thing?"
That made Simba lose his grin, "Do I need any?" Seeing Brody tilt his head, he continued, "What, do you think this is some fancy novel or something? Not everyone has to be some deep, 3D character. Now let's get to the good part."
"Yeah, I guess we should," Brody agreed, putting his left arm behind his back. "Bring it on."
With the gauntlet having been thrown, Simba moved in for the attack. Initially charging head-on, Simba surprised Brody by darting to the side and striking him from his 2 o'clock.
While surprised, Brody did his best to block Simba's punches.
The anthro Cymbospondylus batted Brody's right hand away and lunged in for a bite. To his confusion, the Yellow Ranger retreated. "You're fucking running?" he asked as he gave chase.
Brody ran over a hill before going in circles around a tree with Simba following. After going around a few dozen passes, Brody jerked to a halt while holding his elbow out behind him.
Too close and too fast to stop, Simba jabbed himself in the chest. Growling, Simba leapt into the canopy and darted about like a squirrel on a sugar high.
Not caring what his enemy might be aiming for with this tactic, Brody drew his Switch-Gun and took aim.
Not giving the Yellow Ranger the chance to lock onto him, Simba dove at him from the trees. He did a somersault, slapping Brody's gun away with his tail and tackling him to the ground. Getting Brody in a mount, Simba bit down on his neck.
Brody gagged and tried to pry Simba off him, but that just made the marine reptile's teeth sink in deeper. In a panic, he pressed his forearms against Simba's sides and fired his arm feathers. Naturally, the Cymbospondylus reeled, screaming in pain, giving Brody the chance to roll over and reverse their positions. He briefly pummeled Simba with electric punches but stopped when Simba's tail wrapped around his neck from behind.
Simba yanked Brody off him and, once he was back on his feet, began running all over, dragging the Ranger along with him. He ran and ran until they approached a lake. Being a speedster, he moved fast enough to run on the surface without sinking. Jerking to a stop, he swung his tail, slamming Brody onto the water's surface like it was a concrete floor. Having stopped running, the two of them sank under the surface.
To his dismay, Brody learned that his helmet wasn't watertight, though he wasn't able to focus on that much with Simba attacking him. The Deadly Sea was swimming around and ramming into him again and again, like a living torpedo except even faster. One of the strikes made him swallow some water. Not wanting to spend another second like this, the Yellow Ranger hunched over and generated as much electricity as he could. Normally, this would've only shocked someone who was directly touching him, but in a body of water, he zapped Simba without having to try and catch him. With his enemy stunned, he swam as fast as he could to the shore.
Once he was on sweet, sweet, dry land, he pulled his helmet off, coughed up some water, and took a deep breath of fresh air. That didn't last long, though, as Simba leapt out of the water and landed right beside him.
"Hello again," Simba greeted, an angry smile on his face.
Brody put his helmet back on as the two stared each other down. After a few seconds, the Yellow Ranger ran away, with Simba following. Between his near-drowning and his injuries and exertions from the fight, Brody was straining to push himself to continue running at super speed. Fortunately, he only needed a few seconds of speed before Simba yelped in pain and stumbled to the ground.
"What the fuck?" the Cymbospondylus asked. He looked at his foot to see that it had been impaled by a couple of Brody's feathers. A quick look around and he saw several more feathers sticking out of the ground. "When did-" he paused when he spotted a familiar hill. "Wait a second."
"Yeah, I guess we should," Brody agreed, putting his left arm behind his back. "Bring it on." As Brody attempted to block Simba's attacks with his free arm, several feathers shot from his hidden arm and embedded themselves in the ground.
"So you had a plan from the start," Simba surmised.
"Yep," Brody said as he walked back toward the ichthyosaur, his right leg glowing with yellow lightning. "Now say goodbye."
Simba couldn't block an attack like that, and with his foot injury, he had little to no chance of getting away.
"Get him out of there, Lensia," Moses ordered.
"Ah, ah, ah," Techno said. "No one interferes with my games," he aimed his hand at Lensia, the ring on his palm glowing red, "Not even my clients."
"You bastard," Moses growled. "Do something, will you?!" he yelled at Calios.
"Your little buddy knew what he was getting into when he challenged the Blue Ranger," Calios said casually. "Besides, you know that half the time, I don't care enough to rescue my monsters."
The three Seas in the room watched in dismay as their teammate was destroyed by a Ranger Kick.
Calios waved his hand, "Alright, Lensia, revive him."
As the witch cast her spell, Leopold grumbled under his breath, "You won't let us help him but you'll resurrect him when he dies? Where's the logic in that?"
A look of panic crossed Brody's face as Simba revived. Unlike the 40 meter Super Shadows, Simba was a full 50 meters. With Jurassic Island being thousands of feet in the air, Pops was the only Zord who could possibly come to help, and Brody doubted the Paranthodon could defeat Simba all by himself.
"Time for round 2," Simba stated. The Cymbospondylus leaned down and threw a volley of super-fast punches.
Brody darted around as best he could, his stamina starting to deplete already. As he ran, he noticed all the debris flying about from Simba's attacks. He leapt up and rebounded from stone to stone. Once he was high enough in the air, he launched himself at Simba. The ichthyosaur threw another punch, but Brody angled himself around it and slid down his arm. Righting himself, Brody continued down the arm, charging up his fist for a Ranger Punch.
Unfortunately, Simba quickly raised his hand in front of his face and caught Brody mid-charge. He raised his hand up and threw the Ranger on to the ground. Before Brody could recover, Simba raised a foot and stomped on him hard. For cruelty points, Simba waited for Brody to try struggling to his feet before each new stomp.
After the first several stomps, Brody didn't even have the strength to squirm anymore. 'Who am I kidding?' he thought as Simba's foot came down on him again. 'The Shadows were one thing, but I can't beat this guy when he's giant.'
"Brody!"
Both Ranger and monster looked to the side to see Duncan and Cooper.
"Come on, lad! Get up!" Cooper shouted.
"If you can't do it, literally no one can!" Duncan added.
"Yeah? Well, too bad. He can't do it," Simba snarked as he stomped on Brody again.
Kenny peeled his eyes away from the generator he and G2 were working on, watching in horror as Brody got bashed into the ground.
The Cryo gang had come up to watch Brody's exploits as well. The blue Cryo roared at seeing what was happening to its partner.
"He's right," Brody admitted. "I'm tired, unarmed, and alone. I'm screwed." He finished just as Simba stepped on him again.
"No you're not!" Duncan shouted back. "You're not unarmed because you've got kickass Ranger powers, and you're not alone because you've got a whole fucking team!" Brody's eyes widened as Duncan finished, "And so what if you're fucking tired?! That never stopped you with schoolwork, chores, or fighting to save people! And that's why-" the digital ginger crossed his arms with a pout, "You're the better twin."
"Yeah, real touching," Simba droned. He reared a fist back and punched Brody as hard as he could. However, when he retracted his arm, he saw that there was nothing there. "What the?"
"For the record, Duncan," Brody said from his spot beside his teammates. Even with his helmet hiding his face, they could tell he was grinning, "I'm holding that over you forever."
Duncan rolled his eyes, "Just fuck that guy up already."
Brody nodded, took a deep breath and ran to collect his Switch-Gun. Once he had it, he ran toward Simba, charging his blade up. The anthro Cymbospondylus spun and swung his tail, but the Yellow Ranger simply jumped onto his tail and ran all over his enemy's body, slashing up every square meter of skin he treaded on. Simba roared in pain and tried to swat Brody, but the teen used the chance to leap onto his hand and continue running and slashing.
After another ten seconds, Brody leapt off and landed next to his friends, morphing back to his blue form. They all watched as Simba, riddled with cuts, fell to his knees before exploding, releasing the last three Memory Tokens.
Cooper laughed and tried to put an arm around Brody's shoulder, which naturally failed. "Okay, gesture not withstandin', man that was like watchin' one piranha do the work of a thousand."
"And it felt like it too," Brody panted as he absorbed the tokens. "I'm fucking exhausted, and I just know I cracked a few bones."
"Too bad Jane isn't around to patch you up," Duncan commented.
"Yeah, but at least I can take it easy for now. I've just gotta find that next key and then I'll be one step closer to ending all this," Brody said. He put a hand on his chest, "It's getting hard to breath."
"Alright, lads, let's split up. That'll make this go by a bit faster," Cooper suggested. After an hour of searching, the team met back up.
"I didn't find anything, but I did get an idea," Duncan said. "Try shooting up the place. If it's hidden, maybe that'll give it away."
Cooper nodded, "Makes sense. It worked on my island."
Brody shrugged and pulled out his Switch-Gun. As he stumbled around, he shot anything that seemed big enough to hide the pedestal with the key.
Minutes ticked by, and after half an hour, it was beginning to seem pointless.
"Real great plan, Duncan," Brody complained. He fired another shot at a hill, revealing the pedestal he'd been looking for. "Wow…Guess I spoke too soon." He walked up to the pedestal and held out his hand, though he paused knowing what would happen. "I can do this," he told himself as he grabbed the key.
Duncan and Cooper watched, concerned, as the seemingly-harmless red and black manifestation on Brody's body spread explosively. It now covered two-thirds of his chest, some of his head, and all that was in addition to the shock he received from touching the key. When it was over, Brody was slouching, breathing heavily and clutching his head with one hand.
"Uh, dude? You okay?" Duncan asked, walking over to him.
"I'll be fine, sir," Brody answered as he straightened himself out.
"Oh, for the love-" Duncan muttered. "We've been over this, I know who you are."
Brody's response shocked both of them. "Really? Who am I?"
