Brody, in Ranger form, stumbles out of the bushes and looks around before spotting a key floating on a pedestal. He walks toward it and grabs it, only for it to shock his arm.

Slowly zoom in as the pedestal shakes and a red and black pulse bursts outward. Cut to black.

Yeah! Alright!

Red binary slowly starts descending from above. The Paleo Force logo fades into view, followed by Techno walking in from behind it. He raises a hand and fires a blast at the screen.

We cut to three large islands floating above the Rangers' hometown. Zoom out to reveal Brody looking up at them from below.

Kenny stands up, holding a wrench and wiping his brow from working on a crude-looking generator. G2 enters the room, carrying a stack of books. He walks over to grab one.

In a white void, Brody grabs Cooper's shoulder, only for him to shatter into red and black pixels. Brody rushes for Duncan and Jane, growing increasingly distraught as they shatter as well. With them all gone, he looks around in a panic.

Brody lifts up a rock, revealing a red cross token. He runs up a wall in Electric-Type to grab a boxing glove token. Still in Electric-Type, he zigzags through a field, gathering up joint tokens.

Uncover the new adventure

Brody looks at his right hand as it flickers red and black. He clenches it and runs, leaping off the edge of a hill, landing in a field in a three-point landing. As he stands up and draws his Switch-Gun, he looks ahead to see Simba, who's grinning maliciously at him.

We get a long shot of them from the side with bigger versions of them overhead.

Brody brandishes his swords as a group of Shadows surround him. He leaps up and cleaves two of them in half in slow motion.

A bunch of the Shadows fuse into a giant Super Shadow. The Super Shadow punches the ground, just missing Brody. Brody runs by its legs, slashing its ankles and bringing it to its knees. He turns back and leaps at it and slashes its neck.

Brody runs across a field toward CJ, who takes a fighting stance. Changing to Electric-Type once again, he accelerates. CJ throws a flaming punch, which Brody meets with an electric punch. The collision creates an explosion of fire and lightning.

Brody clutches his head and screams at the sky as his body flickers red and black.

We get a side shot of Brody running toward large, red cubes containing his friends. The final shot is a POV shot of Brody's outstretched hand reaching out to them.

Chapter 35

Duncan and Cooper's eyes widened. "You're…You're joking, right?" Duncan asked.

"I'm not, I-I-" Brody sputtered.

"Congratulations! You've cleared Jurassic Island!" Techno announced as he appeared via telescreen. "You want to finish the mission, right?" Brody said nothing, so the villain continued. "You're clearly a bit out of it, so how about I give you a straight shot to Cretaceous Island?"

Brody took a few seconds to muster a response, "Okay."

A road of yellow light began materializing out of thin air with arrows on it to prompt Brody along.

The black and red parts of the Blue Ranger's body flickered briefly. When it stopped, he slowly walked to the road.

"Wait, lad!" Cooper objected. "Look at yourself. You can't take anymore!"

Brody ignored him and continued walking, only for Duncan to get in his way. "Brody, if you wanna get to the next island, you're gonna have to go through me."

Pausing for a moment, Brody kept walking, literally going through his brother in the process.

Seeing how they were powerless to do anything, the two digital Rangers could only watch their friend set off once again.

"Brody," Jane muttered as she watched her boyfriend make his way to her island.

"Don't worry your little head, girl," Techno said from the screen in her cage. "He seems like he has a bit of fight left in him."

"What the fuck have you been doing to him anyway?" the girl glared.

Techno chuckled, "To keep it simple, think of it like a computer virus, except instead of corrupting files, it affects living tissue like, say, the brain." He laughed out loud as his screen disappeared, leaving Jane by herself to watch Brody.

It took 15 minutes for Brody to reach the next island. It might've taken less time, but in his condition, he couldn't exactly rush. Once he reached the other side of the bridge, he saw a barren expanse of scorched rock with a small volcano with lava leaking out.

Shrugging, Brody kept walking. Before he could get fifty feet, he noticed numerous shadows creeping along the ground, followed by them turning into the 3D Shadows he'd fought so many times before. The Blue Ranger drew his Switch-Gun, "Alright, let's do this."

He fired at the Shadows, who all charged at him in response. About a dozen fell before the rest closed in. Brody met them all head-on. He threw one haymaker after the next, and occasionally pistol-whipped some of his enemies. Sometimes a Shadow would sucker punch him from behind but he powered through it. When it was over, he stood amongst the fallen Shadows, panting.

Carl commented through Brody's morpher, "It seems this condition of yours has made you forget your fighting skills." Brody looked at his morpher for a few moments before continuing on, saying nothing all the while. This concerned Carl, "Mother?"

"I'm your mother?" Brody repeated. He immediately changed the subject, "Just gotta find that cube and free whoever's in it."

"Then use my power, nino!" Alicia piped up. "This'll take all day if you just walk!"

"He's still worn out, Alicia," Carl pointed out. "He couldn't run at top speed if he tried, assuming he even remembers how to use your power."

"I don't remember," Brody admitted. "Could you guys teach me?"

"It's simple, Mother. Just tap your morpher again to access another Zord's powers. While you have Alicia's power active, you can move at super speed by running as hard as you can," Carl explained.

"Cool. Thanks, partner," Brody smiled under his helmet. He took a few steps forward before falling to one knee, the corrupted parts of his body flickering. "Not. Yet," he growled as he forced himself to his feet and kept walking.

"Is that the cube?" he asked himself as he peered into the distance. He made his way toward it but was stopped by a lava river. "Any ideas, guys? My brain isn't working too well."

"Actually, I do, Mother," Carl stated. "Simply fired a continuous shot at the lava."

Brody took his Zord's advice and fired at the river. After a few moments, the section he was firing at began to harden and turn black, giving him a path across. "Wow. How'd you know that would happen?"

"Lava is merely melted rock. Cooling it turns it back into said rock," Carl explained.

Nodding, Brody walked over the now-solid lava and approached Jane's cage. He reached out and touched it, releasing the girl.

"Brody! Thank God you're okay!..You are okay, right?" she asked. She tried to hug him, only to phase through him.

"I don't really feel okay," Brody said. "So I guess you know me?"

Jane was stunned silent for a few seconds but soon found her voice, "You forgot me too?"

"I guess I did," Brody sighed. "It was nice talking to you, but I have to get that final key." However, the moment he took a step, the ground rumbled. "What's that?" The two of them turned around to see a Super Shadow.

However, unlike other Shadows, this one didn't simply approach out of nowhere from some random direction. This one rose from the lava and was colored red.

"That can't be good," the Blue Ranger commented.

The Red Shadow held out its hand and fired a stream of lava from its palm.

Brody ran like a bitch to get away from the attack, firing a few shots from his Switch-Gun. The icy shots naturally did nothing against a being with the power of lava.

"Mother! Switch to your Electric-Type form!" Carl instructed.

"Right!" Brody tapped his morpher, turning yellow again.

"Now run, nino, run!" Alicia cheered.

Following the raptor's advice, Brody ran circles around the Red Shadow. Seeing that the Yellow Ranger was too fast to aim at, the Red Shadow spewed lava straight up into the air and let it rain down.

Fast as Brody was, there were simply too many drops of lava falling, with one landing on his shoulder. Wanting to end things as quickly as he could, Brody ran up the Shadow's leg and chest and leapt high into the air.

Seeing the Ranger charge up his blade, the Red Shadow fired another blast of lava.

Brody slashed his blade in an X-shaped pattern, dispersing the lava. Falling through the air, he brought his blade down, cutting the Shadow in half as he fell. He panted as the Shadow exploded, releasing more Memory Tokens than he would've expected, 15 to be exact. These ones were shaped like red crosses.

"Good on you. Really, congrats," Techno said as another screen popped up. "You'll find your 'final boss" at the base of the volcano. Seemed like a fitting place."

"Nice," Brody said, holding his burnt shoulder. He began walking toward the volcano as per instruction.

"Brody, you don't have to do this right now. You can go and take a rest," Jane pointed out worriedly.

"No, you can't." The duo looked in the direction of the volcano to see CJ approaching, "I saw you guys coming and thought I'd meet you halfway. Maybe this time, I'll finally kill one of you."

Electricity crackled all over Brody's body, but CJ wasn't intimidated, "Don't bother with your speed. I know how to counter it."

"Then I won't use speed," Brody said as he walked toward the evil Ranger.

CJ summoned her Biting Gauntlets, and the second Brody was in range, she unleashed an explosion of fire, knocking him back.

Brody landed on his back, groaning as he got up. After pushing himself to his feet, he resumed walking toward CJ. "Do that again," he taunted.

CJ tilted her head but took the bait. This time though, she intended to take it a step further. Her whole body glowed red and purple.

Before she could unleash both her elements, Brody fired an arm feather at her head, throwing off her focus. This gave him the chance to use his super speed to get in close and slash her across the chest.

The Red and Black Ranger recovered quickly and tackled Brody to the ground. He kicked her off him, but she grabbed one of his ankles and swung him around before throwing him.

"Brody!" Jane called out. She and CJ watched in horror and eagerness respectively as he fell toward the lava river, only for him to land on the bank. She looked at her counterpart, who could only shrug.

"Guess I misjudged that arc," CJ admitted. She leapt across the river and grabbed Brody, who was still recovering. She grabbed him by the neck and threw him at the volcano. She immediately followed it up with a combo beam of fire and darkness. This attack launched hit Brody so hard he made a crater in the side of the volcano.

CJ grinned as the Yellow Ranger fell to the ground. "Almost too easy," she commented as she approached.

Brody's breathing was heavy. Trying to move even an inch was taking all his effort. He was flipped onto his back by CJ.

"Too bad you weren't built tough like me," the evil Ranger taunted. She held up her gauntlets, "Now, what should I finish you with? Fire of darkness?"

Whether it was from his cyber infection or the beating he'd taken so far, Brody was zoned out, his mind racing at a mile a minute. Everything looked like it was in slow motion. 'What do I do?' he wondered. 'I just need more power. Yeah, that's it. But where do I get it? Where do I-' He paused as he took another look at CJ. 'Hmm. She has two elements at once. Maybe I can do that too.'

The Yellow Ranger tapped his morpher. Unlike other times, though, he didn't take his hand off his bracelet.

CJ scowled under her helmet, "What's that supposed to-" She and Jane covered their eyes as a big flash of light enveloped Brody. When it was over, they saw Brody back on his feet. Not only that, but he'd also taken on a half-and-half form similar to CJ's, with the right half of his body being yellow, and the left half being blue. Finally, there was no sign of his cyber infection.

The rest of the team looked in awe of Brody's new form. "He's an Ice and Electric-Type!" Duncan gushed.

"Ho-ly shit," Kenny and G2 chorused.

Cooper simply nodded, "Knock that bitch out, lad."

"Mother! You can't do this!" Carl warned hastily. "Using two elements at once will put a strain on your body, and you're already hurt as is!"

"Listen to him, Brody!" Alicia agreed. "Do something else! Anything else!"

Before Brody could even move, lightning and icy mist erupted from all over his body. He screamed and nearly collapsed all over again. Clenching his fists, he stayed on his feet.

Unimpressed, CJ raised her right gauntlet and launched a stream of fire at Brody.

The Blue and Yellow Ranger wound up for a punch, his fist gaining a blue aura laced with yellow lightning. He punched with all his might, dispersing the fire beam in an instant.

That made CJ perk up, "Huh, maybe this'll be fun after all." She charged in. Brody threw a haymaker, which she easily ducked under. She hit him in the gut with a one-two punch. She followed it up with a reverse roundhouse kick, hitting him in the side.

Despite flinching from the hit, Brody wrapped his arm around the offending leg and pulled CJ in. This put her in range for a punch in the face. Pressing the attack, Brody threw several more face shots. What his strikes lacked in technique; they made up for with sheer strength. Each hit unleashed a burst of blue and yellow.

"Fuck off!" CJ pressed her flame gauntlet against Brody's left temple and her dark gauntlet against the side of his ribs and let loose with elemental beams.

Brody was blown away by the attack, but scrambled back to his feet as soon as he hit the ground.

Jane looked back and forth between the two Rangers, uncertain of who would win.

Without a word, Brody charged up his body with his two elements and ran straight at CJ. The evil Ranger fired more beams, only for Brody to power through them. Figuring the attack would just be another sloppy haymaker, CJ tried slipping to the side. To her surprise, Brody only faked a punch and took the opportunity to grab her by the throat. Using his free hand, he punched her in the face a couple times. Seeing that she was stunned, he wound up for another punch. His fist crackled with ice and lightning, and he swung his arm, hitting her as hard as he could.

The blow struck CJ so hard, it actually launched her off the island.

"Heh, I wish I could see the look on her face when she lands," Duncan snarked. He ate his words when CJ came crashing through the roof, landing between all of them. The team all tensed up before they noticed that CJ wasn't moving. In fact, she de-morphed, revealing her bruised face, bloody nose, and closed eyes.

Kenny, ignoring the fact that his roof had just been trashed, inched over to her and leaned in close. After a few seconds, he looked at his friends, "I don't hear her breathing."

"Brody killed her?" G2 asked as he screwed in a screw.

"Speakin' of Brody," Cooper pointed to the screen in the room.

After half a day of being morphed, Brody's transformation came undone as well, revealing just how bad things were. Not only was his cyber infection back in full force, but he also had a bad burn mark on the left side of his face, and his whole body was steaming. He fell to his hands and knees, panting.

"Brody!" Jane ran over to his side.

"Wow, I'm running out of 'congratulations,'" Techno said. "You knocked the tokens right out of her, and here's your reward."

The volcano lightly erupted, launching out an object in the process. The object landed near Jane and Brody, revealing it was the final pedestal, complete with a key.

The sight of it prompted Brody to force himself to his feet. He staggered around, gathering up the tokens that had fallen out of CJ. Once he had them all, he made for the pedestal.

"Brody, please, don't do it," Jane begged. "You have all the tokens now. We can take our time and figure something out."

"What other way is there?" Brody droned. When Jane didn't answer, he reached for the key, receiving another shock. This caused the red and black parts to spread over his entire body, with an occasional flicker revealing bits of his regular body.

Techno chuckled, "And just like that, you've won the game. Go on. Return your friends to normal."

In a flash of red light, Brody and Jane were teleported back to Kenny's house. Everyone was horrified at seeing Brody's condition in person.

Brody held out the key. This released the other two keys he'd absorbed. Each one flew into Duncan, Cooper, and Jane, turning them back into solid people. Brody managed a faint smile before he collapsed outright.

"BRODY!" the gang, plus the Cryos, huddled around their friend, trying to rouse him.

"Wake up, please!" "Come on, lad, say somethin'!" "Get up!"

Duncan stood back from the group, too stunned to even move from his spot.

Jane forced Kenny and Cooper back and put an ear to Brody's chest. After a few tense seconds, she sighed, "Thank God. He's still breathing."

Kenny sighed in relief, but Cooper just raised an eyebrow, "Hold on. If his heart's beatin' and his eyes are open, then how come he's not movin'?"

"Techno said the virus affected his brain, so-" Jane trailed off.

"You don't mean," Kenny asked, fearing he knew the answer.

"I think he's brain-dead," Jane stated reluctantly.

That made something click, finally spurring Duncan to move. He grabbed Cooper by the shoulder and got him to his feet before pulling him toward the front door. "Let's go. If we kill this guy, it should get Brody back to normal."

"You sure?" Cooper asked. "This robot guy really thinks things through. What if he used somethin' that can't be-" He was cut off by Duncan pulling him in close. Now face to face, Cooper's eyes widened as he saw Duncan was actually starting to well up.

"Let. Me. Believe this," the younger Ranger hissed.

Cooper said nothing and nodded.

A rumbling was heard, so the team went outside to check what the cause was. They saw the floating islands beginning to converge into a single, even more massive island.

"Like you said, Duncan, let's go," Cooper declared.

As the still-standing Rangers left, Kenny addressed Jane, "I need your help."

"With what?" she asked.

Kenny led her back inside and gestured to his recently finished gravity generators, "We need to move these to different spots as soon as we can."

"Those things? They look like piles of junk," Jane said, missing the point.

"I made them with whatever I could find!" Kenny spat out defensively. He took a deep breath to calm himself, "Look, when Cooper and Duncan beat this guy, the islands will probably start falling-"

"-And take out the whole town," Jane finished,

"And everything else for miles," G2 added.

"I'll call my parents," the girl offered. "They can help me move this thing."

Kenny nodded and showed the Cryos his phone, "You guys take your generator to these coordinates." The Cryos all tilted their heads, indicating they didn't get it. The boy sighed and pulled up images of where in town he wanted them to go, "Just go here."

Duncan and Cooper walked toward the beam of light that would take them up to the island. Their casual stroll hiding how they were really feeling inside.

Brody sighed and smiled, "Okay, I'm admitting it. You guys are great wingmen."

Brody leaned over and got his brother in a side hug, and the two of them simply sat there for a while.

Cooper gestured for the boys to follow him. "This calls for a celebration! Let's hit up a bar. My treat."

"We're not old enough to drink, Mr. Cooper."

The duo stopped reminiscing upon reaching the light, which they promptly stepped into. Getting to the top, they saw that the whole island had been terraformed, turning into a vast grassland similar to Jurassic Island. The Rangers morphed and made their way to the center of the island, guessing that Techno would be there, because why not?

Sure enough, Techno was there, waiting for them. "There you are. Welcome to the final island, Pangea. Here for revenge for your little friend, I take it?" The Rangers said nothing. "Going with the strong, silent approach, huh? That's cute."

The two Rangers charged forward, with Duncan drawing his Switch-Gun. He fired a few shots, which bounced harmlessly off Techno's shield.

Cooper got in close and faked a jab before throwing a right cross.

Techno caught his fist with one hand and grabbed his upper arm with the other. He spun, throwing Cooper over his shoulder.

Landing flat on his back, the Pink Ranger raised his guard as Techno punched him. The robot's fists moved so fast they were a blur.

Duncan came up behind him for a sneak attack, but Techno simply held a hand behind his head and fired a ring from the back of his hand.

As Duncan staggered back, Cooper got to his feet and renewed his assault. He threw a volley of punches, which Techno easily dodged and/or parried. To catch the robot off guard, Cooper crouched low and hit Techno in the groin with a jab. Even with the shield getting in the way, the Pink Ranger didn't let up, with each following water-infused punch hitting harder than the last.

A haymaker. "YOU!" An uppercut. "HURT!" A straight punch. "MY!" Another haymaker. "FRIEND!"

Having let Cooper vent, Techno raised his hand to fire an energy ring, only for- "Cooper, duck!" Duncan to leap over his teammate and throw a charged-up punch of his own. While the strikes didn't break Techno's shield, they did force him back. Deciding the Rangers had had their fun, red beams of energy protruded from Techno's right palm. He swiped at the heroes, forcing them to give ground.

Duncan unfolded his Switch-Gun into its blade mode and charged it with ice energy. He went in and crossed blades with the robot.

After a few clashes, Techno sidestepped the young man and slashed him across the back while aiming his free hand at Cooper.

The Rangers were ready, though. Cooper parried Techno's shooting hand while Duncan recovered and batted away Techno's blade with his own. Their fists glowed with deep blue and neon blue energy.

"Ranger Punch!" the two let loose, with their fists hitting Techno on either side of his torso. His shield halted them, but the Rangers gave a battle cry and pressed on, cracking the shield, and soon breaking it, finally landing a clean hit.

Techno flinched from the damage and backflipped away to gain some distance. "Okay, enough's enough!" He spread his arms while cylinders rose from the dots on his chest and shoulders. "LASER LIGHT SHOW!" Lasers fired from his cylinders while energy rings flew out from his palms and the backs of his hands.

Duncan and Cooper tapped their morphers as the mass attack came at them.

Seeing the explosions, Techno chuckled to himself, "That should do it." However, as the smoke began clearing, he saw what looked like two dome-shaped shields. "Huh?"

The dome of earth crumbled, revealing Duncan in his Ground-Type form. Cooper stopped swinging his flail, causing his dome of wind to disperse.

"Oh, I was wondering when you'd break out your precious upgrades," Techno snarked, putting his hands on his hips.

Duncan tunneled into the ground while Cooper took to the skies, flying all over and lashing out with his flail.

Techno let the strikes bounce off his shield and fired back at Cooper before stepping to the side, dodging Duncan as he popped out of the ground.

Go

Duncan slammed his palm to the ground, making spikes of earth jab at Techno from behind.

Techno's shield stopped the attack and he responded by backhanding the Brown Ranger.

Cooper swooped in, grabbed Techno, and looped around, intending to smash him into the ground. Techno reversed things by shooting Cooper in the face, causing them both to fall.

Both of them quickly scrambled to their feet. Techno detected Duncan coming at him from behind and ducked under an incoming punch.

Cooper retracted his flail into its mace form and the two double-teamed the robot, forcing him to give ground. Parrying a few blows, Techno fired more shots from his chest cylinders.

Duncan got in front of Cooper and took the attack. This gave Cooper the chance to swing his weapon, with it looping around and hitting Techno from behind.

Welcome to the mind of a different kind.

Where we've been growing slowly.

Think I'm on eleven but I'm on a nine, guess you don't really know me.

Techno attempted to grab the flail, but Cooper dispelled it and threw a Ranger Punch, cracking his shield.

Duncan followed it up with a push kick. He then stomped the ground, making numerous rocks pop out from the ground and fly at Techno, breaking his shield completely. The two Rangers reared their fists back and hit Techno in chest with a double whammy, shattering his shield when it reappeared and destroying some of the cylinders on his chest. As Techno went skidding back, Cooper threw an air punch as a cherry on top.

Running from the past is a losing game. It never brings you glory.

Been down this road before, already know the story.

Seeing the Rangers advance once again, Techno caught a punch from Duncan and fired at Cooper, only for the Green Ranger to leap over the shot and bring his fist down on Techno's head.

Leaning forward from the blow, Techno fired lasers from the cylinders on his shoulders, which Duncan dodged by doing the limbo.

Cooper landed behind Techno while Duncan righted himself. They threw punches, though Techno caught both their fists. The Rangers yanked their arms back and continued their attacks.

Techno parried blows from both sides, and even blocked Cooper's fist with his elbow at one point.

Face your fear.

As Cooper reeled, shaking his hand, Duncan threw another punch, which Techno caught. The Brown Ranger grunted and threw a snap kick that bounced off Techno's shield. He then jumped back, only to lunge forward using Drill Run.

This time, the attack busted through Techno's shield. A smoking dent was left in the robot's abdomen as a result. Techno raised a hand to fire back but was attacked from behind by Cooper with his mace.

Face your fear.

Techno generated his laser blades from his palms and blocked Cooper's next strike while swiping at Duncan to keep him at bay.

As Cooper kept clashing with Techno, Duncan's fist glowed brown, and he went in for a Ranger Punch, destroying one of Techno's blades and hitting him in the side.

It's time to face your fear.

'Cause when your time has come and gone.

I'll be the one to carry on.

And you can throw me to the wolves.

'Cause I am undefeatable.

Cooper lassoed his flail's cord around Techno's neck and slammed him on the ground back and forth like a metronome.

Hitting the ground once again, Techno fired a ring from his palm. Duncan got in the way and punched the ring, dispersing. Following his friend's lead, Cooper yanked on his flail, pulling Techno right into Duncan's charged-up fist.

Duncan then ducked, allowing Cooper a free hit at the robot. From his crouching position, Duncan threw an uppercut, launching Techno into the air. Cooper fired air beams from his palm while Duncan fired his Switch-Gun.

Not out of things yet, Techno countered by firing beams from all his still-working cylinders. The various beams cancelled each other out, and Techno landed on his feet. "Just die already!" he yelled in frustration. His sole eye glowed and he fired a massive red laser.

I'm hanging onto the other side.

I won't give up 'til the end of me.

I'm what you get when the stars collide.

Now face it you're just an enemy.

Continuing his role as defense, Duncan thrust both his fists forward, halting the beam's progress. Growling, he splayed his arms out, scattering the beam altogether.

Cooper flew past Duncan and lassoed Techno around the waist before soaring into the air with him. Duncan slammed his fists to the ground, causing giant pillars of earth to rise. Cooper swung Techno into the pillars so hard that they shattered. The Green Ranger flung Techno downward, where he landed on a tall, thin plateau made by Duncan.

As Techno unsteadily got to his feet, he saw Cooper looping around to build speed before rushing at him, his right foot glowing green.

Woah, woah, you're crossing the line.

Woah, woah, now we've run out of time.

Woah, woah, I'll take what is mine.

Techno hastily fired his eyebeam. In response, Cooper shifted into a kicking position and plowed through the beam. He struck Techno, slowly cracking and breaking through his shield. Cooper's kick ran straight through him, and the Green Ranger landed next to Duncan as the robot exploded.

Brody lied on Kenny's couch, still unmoving. Suddenly, the virus all over his body disappeared. He shot up, gasping heavily. He clutched his head as memories of today and yesterday flooded his head. "Holy shit." After getting his bearings, he noticed a sticky note stuck to his head. Peeling it off, he gave it a quick read before hearing a loud noise. He got up and walked to the window to see Techno appearing on the ground as a giant.

Calios perked up upon seeing Techno resurrected. "Uh, Lensia?"

"Don't look at me," the sorcerer shrugged.

"He grew all on his own," Factoraze informed them. "He had a size-altering device implanted within him set to activate if he went offline."

Calios nodded, "Well, props to him for being prepared."

Cooper flew down off the island, carrying Duncan by letting him dangle off his flail's cord. The two quickly spotted Techno firing lasers all over. "We'd better call the Zords!" Cooper noted.

"Uh, Mr. Cooper? I think someone is ahead of us on that," Duncan pointed out.

Cooper could practically hear Duncan grinning. And with good reason too. He spotted Chazz and Carl approaching Techno from far off. "Then that means-"

"You know it!" a familiar voice said through their morphers.

"Brody!" they chorused.

"Kenny left me a note for when I woke up. Once we take out Mr. Robot here, the island he made is gonna crush the city," Brody informed them. "You guys call Kelly."

The Green and Brown Rangers nodded and made their way down to the ground before calling the aforementioned Zords.

Meanwhile, the Paleo Force Megazord formed and confronted Techno.

"You kidnapped our friends," Chazz started.

"You tore up this city," Carl continued.

"And you gave me fucking brain damage," Brody finished.

Unfazed by his previous defeat, Techno shrugged, "Well, then let round 2 commence!"

The Paleo Force shifted into sword-and-shield mode. It charged in, raising its shield to block Techno's counterfire.

As his enemy closed in, Techno generated his laser blades and clashed them with the Megazord's sword and shield. Caught in a deadlock, the two let loose with every beam attack they had, making them both stumble back.

Techno recovered first and swung his blades sideways.

Brody had the Megazord leap straight up to avoid the slash and brought his mecha's sword down, with Techno's shield blocking the strike. "Are you always this sadistic or was I just special?" the Blue Ranger asked.

"Hate to tell you, but you're not special," Techno replied as he kicked the Megazord away.

To distract Techno, the Megazord threw its shield up in the air.

Unfortunately, the merc's gaze never left the Megazord and he fired a beam from his eye. When the Paleo Force batted that away with its sword, he mixed things up. His next eyebeam moved in a spiral pattern, making it too unpredictable to block. Pressing the advantage, Techno slashed the mecha several times before something fell on his head, that something being the Megazord's shield. "What the bloody hell?"

Taking the opportunity to counterattack, the Paleo Force Megazord slashed Techno across the chest, cracking his shield. When Techno tried to slash back, it caught his blade in its chest mouth, shattering it. This turned out to be a mistake, as the laser blade detonated upon breaking, hurting Carl's face.

Techno laughed maniacally and let loose with all his beams, blasting the Megazord all over, even causing it to separate.

"Carl, take a quick breather! I'll stall him!" Chazz declared.

As his white friend fired an ice beam at Techno, Carl turned to Brody, who'd been thrown out of the cockpit when the Megazord came apart, "Mother, stand on my head. I have an idea."

"And that would be?" Brody asked.

"Normally, it's the Zords who lend their power to the Rangers, but it also works the other way around. You can charge me up as well," Carl explained.

Brody nodded and hopped onto Carl, placing his hands on his head.

They didn't have much time, though. Chazz wasn't doing well. His only methods of attack were ice beams and headbutts, both of which Techno could counter easily. He tried switching things up by spraying icy wind from his mouth.

"Nice try," Techno mocked. He detonated his other laser blade, with the blast dispersing the ice. He reared his leg back and swung his foot right into Chazz's chin, sending the Chasmozord flying. Techno tilted his head as he saw Chazz's tail fly off in the process. He had no further time to ponder this as his sensors detected damage. Looking down, he found that Chazz had apparently managed to bite his foot when he'd kicked him. "Cheeky bastard."

"He may have gone down," Carl's voice stated. "But he set us up!"

Techno looked to his left to see Carl, his drill tail revved up and infused with ice energy.

The Carnozord thrust his tail forward. Techno's shield managed to stop the drill, though the impact cracked it. Not wasting a second, Carl's body shifted around to reform the Paleo Force Megazord, minus a right arm. Chazz's detached tail joined up with Carl's, giving the mecha its sword back.

"Cryo Slash!" Brody announced. The Megazord swung its sword, breaking through the shield.

As the blade cleaved into Techno's abdomen, the robot fired one last beam at the Paleo Force before he exploded.

Chazz stumbled over to the Megazord, "Nice job…Can I have my tail back now?"

"Sure," Carl reverted to his normal form, putting everything back in the right place. The Ranger and Zords paused as they heard a rumble. They all looked up to see Pangea shaking. The rocket drones holding it up exploded one by one, causing it to start descending.

"Guys!" Duncan called out through Brody's morpher. "The island's coming down as scheduled! Run like hell!"

The trio looked between themselves before Chazz said, "Let's get to the center of town."

"But Duncan just said to run," Carl pointed out.

Chazz shook his head, "I know Kenny's plan involved having Kelly break the island. But I know her. She can't handle this much at once. She's gonna need our help."

"Then let's go," Brody agreed.

Meanwhile, at what would soon be the center point of impact, Kelly dug her way out of the ground. "Okay, just remember what Kenny said."

Kelly stood in the street in front of Kenny's house. "So, like, what's the plan, little guy?"

"See those islands up there?" Kenny asked, pointing to Techno's trio of is islands.

"Yep, yep, yep," Kelly nodded.

"When that robot guy is destroyed, those islands will probably start to fall," the boy explained. "Do you think you can stop objects that size?"

Kelly looked up to the islands and then back to Kenny before shaking her head.

"That's what I thought. Well, can you fragment them instead?" Kenny asked.

"Uh, fragment?"

Kenny facepalmed, "Break them into little pieces."

"Oooooh, yeah, I can totes do that!" Kelly perked up.

"Alright, deep breaths," Kelly muttered to herself. "And shatter!" Her eyes glowed as she faced Pangea and she unleashed a repeating shockwave. The shockwaves struck the massive island, causing cracks to form at the center. The cracks began spreading and spreading until they covered the whole island. The Kosmozord roared and redoubled her efforts. The cracks deepened and, eventually, the Pangea began breaking apart.

Unfortunately, the pieces were still too big. At their current size, they'd still destroy the town.

Kelly clenched her beak and tried to exert more power, but it was proving difficult. Suddenly, though, she felt an influx of energy boosting her own. She looked to see Chazz and Carl on either side of her. "Cuz?"

"Less talking, more earthbending!" Chazz told her. He and Carl leaned into her, lending more of their energy.

Nodding, Kelly focused her power and began breaking Pangea into smaller pieces. They shattered again and again until they, from what the team could tell, were only a few meters at the most.

Seeing the incoming debris was now a more manageable size, Kenny called everyone else, "Now!"

At his command, G2 and the Dawsons pulled the switches on their Gravity Generators, sending waves of gravity upward.

Seeing in the distance that the other teams had activated their generators, the blue Cryolophosaur pulled the switch of its team's generator as well.

The force of the three devices slowed the fall of the debris considerably, causing it to touch down lightly.

"We did it! We saved the town from being crushed!" G2 cheered. "…I think the street cleaners might be mad at us, though."

Now that everything was over, Brody had the Zords take him back to his house. Just as Brody was about to enter his front door, his morpher buzzed up.

"Hey, man, mind meeting us back at Kenny's house?" Duncan asked.

"Sure," Brody answered. He looked back at Chazz and Carl, "Mind giving me another lift?"

After a short walk, at least for the Zords, Brody opened Kenny's door and got a surprise. Namely, Kenny, G2, and Cooper all hugging him. "Whoa! What's going on? We save the day all the time."

"We're just happy you're alive!" G2 pointed out.

"This is the closest we've ever come to losin' you, lad!" Cooper said as he noogied his friend.

"We were all worried!" Kenny finished.

Jane pried the three of them off Brody and drew him in for a deep kiss. "Don't scare me like that again," she smiled.

The white Cryo rang in with a comment as well, which Chazz translated, "You think you were scared, woman? You shoulda seen Duncan. That fool was just straight up crying!"

That made Brody's eyes widen as he looked at his brother, "You cried? Of all people?"

Duncan blushed and tried to play it cool, "Pff, no."

Only for Cooper to undermine him, "Technically, he was only wellin' up, but yeah."

Brody turned back to Duncan, grinning.

"I-well-uh." The ginger sputtered before giving up, "Oh, just get over here." He went in, with Brody meeting him halfway, and the two brothers hugged it out.
