AN: I can't exactly start the Percy Jackson fic since there are some parts from this story that enters that one. It's going to be a major part of the next story. For the Melromarc chapter, I want to finish the prologues for this story before tackling that,

Ch 2 Prologue 2

Patricius: The Eternal Empire, April 28th, 2035, Underground Facility Six

(Insert Fgo Ost Urgency)

A blue-haired man was furious typing on a terminal in their many underground bases. However, like many who were Summoned by the Moon Cell, they fell quickly to the Imperial Inquisitors.

But those who pose a serious threat to the Empire, mainly the Emperor are the real targets. Thus the Empire's strongest and most skilled Inquisitor was placed for the task of hunting these Servants down.

Loud clashing of swords, explosions, and metal scraping echoes down the hallway entrance to the facility.

"Damnit, hurry and upload." The Knight smiles, seeing the file was uploaded to their facility's data net. "Good, now that's there, the Chaldeans can have a fighting chance." He turns to the consul to the left, entering the code to the main base.

-ZZZ- Resistance base, report. -ZZZ- A distorted Human voice answered the call of the Servant who was trying to reach them.

"I'm sorry, but it seems we cannot rendezvous with your group. Moon Cancer." The Servant apologizes to the person on the side of the connection.

-ZZZ- W-Wait, Ruler don't tell me- -ZZZ-

Ruler smiles sadly at the video feed. "We finished setting Caster of the Sakura Labyrinth's weapons at points Zeta and Gamma. But the Emperor's Golden Guard was ready before we know it," He apologizes once more to the Moon Cancer.

-ZZZ- Can you at least find a way out of there? We still need yo- -ZZZ-

"Moon Cancer, I admire your concern over us. But this is how far we can go." Ruler smiles at his allies on the other end. "But don't lose hope, my friend. Though we may be gone, you all on the other side still live." He comforts the Hero he's communicating with.

More explosions came from the closed door to their facility. "I'm sorry, but I must keep this facility close off from the enemy so Chaldea can find it." Ruler stated to the rebel. "Send my apologies to the young master, Moon Cancer." He closes his eyes.

The Moon Cancer remained silent before speaking his final words to his rebel ally. -ZZZ- You know the kid will be sad, but I understand. It was an honor to resist the Eternal Empire's rule with you. -ZZZ- The rebel smiles proudly at the Servant before him.

"Goodbye, my friend. Good luck," Ruler shut down the terminal before shutting down the other tech around to close off the area from the Eternal Empire's reaches.

Once those terminals shut down, he synchronized the door mechanisms to his Spirit Origins. He also programmed the doors to respond to the Chaldean Servants' signatures. "Alright, everything has been set. Recordings, maps, a secure connection, and special items are stored away for the Chaldeans' arrival." The Ruler looks over the door and approaches it. "The only thing to do is to meet my fate."

Swords clashing, metal scraping on the Underground tunnels in Patricus. A white blur punched the wall, disintegrating the metallic walls.

"HA!" A glowing white sword came down from the air, intending to strike the Alter Ego but was deflected upon contact.

A young man with green hair and orange eyes with a forest green trench coat and white armor from his hand to his shoulder jumps back. His sword was glowing a sky blue hue with a golden and bronze hilt. "Damnit, he's too strong. Huh?"

The Saber Servant noticed that the Alter Ego's body was resonating with a white aura over his body. "I-Is that some form of resistance?" He asked before something dashed past him.

"AAAAAAHHHHH!" A flaming sword releases flames, bursting upon nearing the Servant. The red-haired Saber was gruff, he wore a red trench coat with silver armor on both his arms and metal boots that reaches his shins. On his shoulder was armor on the right. He turns to the Saber behind him, seeing nothing harm him. "Keep your head in the game, Oliver. Though we may meet our end here in this area, we can at least buy the Archbishop enough time to prepare."

Oliver nodded, understanding their final mission. "I know Rinaldo," The Paladin huffs, seeing that Alter Ego of White wasn't affected by Rinaldo's Holy Sword. "Damnit, are we really the only ones Holy Swords?" He asked his fellow Paladin.

"I hate to admit it, but you're right Oliver," Rinaldo confirms his friend's question. Carefully observing the Alter Ego. "We're the only ones with Holy Swords in this World. The Chaldean Servant that Caster brought also has the War God's Sword but was captured by the enemy." He explains.

"Tch, so he's taking out the chances of the resistance winning against the war." Oliver chuckles, remembering that change in their King's personality. That he won't hesitate to eliminate those who stand in his way of unifying Humanity in his own image. "Damnit, I can't believe this."

Oliver gasps, blocking a strike from the Alter Ego's punch. "Ngh! When did he get so powerful in just a few seconds!?" he asked,

Rinaldo leaps forward, thrusting his Holy Sword at the white blur. "Remember, he got all the powers of the Mircale Leaguers that fell to this guy!" He pushed the Alter Ego off him, regaining his stamina. "I have to admit, having those powers clump into him is diabolical."

"Then we need to do it! A chance to injure that monster!" Oliver prostrates his Holy Sword at the enemy.

"…" Alter Ego remained silent as the Paladins get ready to use their powerful attacks.

Rinaldo held his Sword, Froberge. "Oh flame, pass judgment on my enemies!"

The Holy Sword began to burn, generating flames on the curvy blade. The Paladin watches the Alter Ego of White move his limbs, almost preparing for his strike. He gritted his teeth, knowing he going to take this attack, but that was not going to change him.

"Now fall in the name of my King!"

The red-haired Saber raised his blade, and a ball of fire formed at the tip. He slashed down at the enemy Servant,

"Éruption de Froberge!"

The ball of fire hurls over at the Alter Ego, the heat began heating the metal walls before exploding upon impact with the enemy.

Rinaldo glares at the fiery halls that his Froberge created against him. He frowns upon seeing the fire clearing and the Alter Ego unfazed by the power of a Holy Sword. "I knew it, but can you take two Holy Strikes?" He asked.

The green-haired Saber appeared behind the Alter Ego. He gritted his teeth; the Holy Sword Hauteclaire's blade glowed a holy light.

"Darkness be purified in this blinding light!"

Oliver strikes the Alter Ego when his defense was down.

"Grève d'Hauteclaire!"

The Paladin slides on the flooring before the Alter Ego. "Begone, enemies of light,"

Oliver turns around to see the damage they have inflicted on the enemy. "Do you think-"

"No! Oliver look out!" Rinaldo cried out to the green-haired Saber Servant.

He wasn't even prepared to block the attack, he was punched through the chest, shattering his Spirit Origins. "GAK!" The Alter Ego viciously took out his hands, letting the Saber fall to his knees.

"…" The Alter Ego looks down at the fallen Saber, starting to return to the Throne.

Oliver drops Hauteclaire on the floor, smiling weakly at his fellow Paladin. "Damnit I'm sorry, Rinaldo for leaving you in a crucial moment. I did my best to put a dent in this monster." His body was turning into golden dust,

Rinaldo saw his friend and brother-in-arms disappear from the Lostbelt. "Oliver, I swear I will avenge you! Now, face me as a warrior, Alter Ego!" The Paladin sent fireballs, slashes, and thrusts at the enemy.

But each attack failed due to the Alter Ego's powers he collected. The enemy held his hand back, a ball and needle appeared on his fist and thrust it through the Paladin.

"GAH!" Rinaldo was stunned, unable to move his entire body. "D-Damn you…"

"I pray to you, heavenly father."

A voice came behind the red-haired Paladin.

"Shine your holiness to the bloody battlefield!"

Just as Alter Ego is about to kill the Paladin a voice cried out "Lumière d'Almace!"

A flash of light shines in the underground, blinding the Alter Ego for a short moment. "Rinaldo, are you alright?"

"Archbishop! I thought you were preparing things for Chaldea?" The red-haired Paladin asked the man of God.

Archbishop Turnip held his Holy Sword, watching carefully at the Alter Ego recover quickly. "So Oliver died?" He asked, seeing no signs of their ally and friend in the area.

Rinaldo nodded, confirming what his fellow Paladin suspect. "He died valiantly, Archbishop."

"Then we must finish where he left off," The Paladin leaps forward at the Alter Ego, slashing at the enemy Servant.

"Count me in!" The red-haired Paladin followed the Ruler's lead, attacking from the right side.

Alter Ego of White remained still, allowing the Paladins to attack him at once. "HAAAAAAA!" Both Paladins cried, about to land a devastating blow on him.

However, when they strike him, his body disappeared like a puff of smoke. "D-Did we kill him?" Rinaldo asked the Archbishop beside him.

Archbishop Turnip was unsure of their victory over the Alter Ego. He felt a ball hit his foot, turning around he saw the Alter Ego of White completely fine despite the wound they gave him. "D-Did he teleported before we landed the hit?" Rinaldo asked the Ruler Servant.

"No, it's more like an exact copy of him that we fought." The blue-haired Paladin growls, preparing to attack him once more. "Come on, we need to-"

Archbishop Turnip blinks, now facing Rinaldo on the other side of the hallway. "Is this-" A white slash came suddenly before the Ruler could tell his head fell to the ground.

"…"

The Ruler of the Resistance's neck spews out blood, his body dropping to the floor before disappearing.

"ARCHBISHOP!" Rinaldo growls, seeing one more of his friends slain by the hands of this monster. "DAMN YOU!" Froberge burned brightly as the red-haired Paladin charged at the enemy.

Alter Ego remained silent; his hand was glowing a white hue. Before anyone can know it, a fist burst through the chest of the Paladin.

"GAK!" Rinaldo coughs out blood, his body glowing as he turns to golden dust. "Heh, you're already too late…we've done our part. Now it's their turn," The Paladin drops his Holy Sword, disappearing along with him. "Tell your Emperor, we'll see him in hell..." (End Song)

Rinaldo disappeared, returning back to the Throne of Heroes along with the others who wield a Holy Sword.

"…"

Alter Ego of White turns around, walking back to the Imperial Palace.

Patricius: The Eternal Empire, April 28th, 2035, Underground Facility One: Prometheus

The Moon Cancer Servant closes his eyes, seeing the light of the fifth facility of their Cells. He sighs losing three Heroes in the Resistance. "Another of our Cells has fallen to the Empire." A man in a snake Super suit places his hand over his forehead.

Running a Resistance is a difficult task for the three of them. Especially for the one who gathered everyone who opposes the Empire. "I take it that the Three Paladins was defeated,"

"Archer of the Resistance! What are you doing here?" The Living Hero asked the Servant Summoned by the Moon Cell.

The Archer has medium-length brown-haired, amber eyes, and a fair complexion. A black trench coat with golden crosses on the small cape around his shoulder and cuffs. He also wore a silver cross on his neck. "I'm merely checking up on you. You seem to be stressed out being the Resistance's communication officer." The Servant commented, walking into the communication room.

"Sorry, it's just been hard since we formed the Resistance a few months back." The Moon Cancer truthfully said to the Archer Servant.

"Well, as expected. We are fighting for the fate of Humanity here," The brown-haired Archer stated to his ally. "Losing a few people and Servants comes in with that territory. But Don't let that stop you." He comforts the black-haired man.

Archer looks down at himself, "You know when the Moon Cell Summoned me, I know what my task was. Upon my materialization, I'm a third-rate Caster Servant at best, but that didn't stop me." The brown-haired man stated, looking at the Living Hero. "When I first encounter the Berserker of the Void all I have was my violin and Magecraft."

Moon Cancer listens to Archer's story of how they met. "I was defeated, thinking that's it for me. But the young master saved me along with the Assassin of the Resistance," Archer explains, grateful for the two. "At first, I was unsure why they saved me, they already have the Grand Caster and Berserker of the Resistance in their ranks and she's a Divine Spirit no less. I wasn't sure why they need me." He said to the Hero.

"But I realize, even if they have higher ranking Servants in their group. They still need more down-to-earth Servant to better interact with the people during this time." Archer smiles at meeting tons of unique people during his time with them.

The brown-haired Archer looks at Moon Cancer's cyan eyes. "You guys gave me a chance to redeem myself. You even went your way to have my Spirit Origins modified by Caster from a Caster to an Archer." He places his hand over his chest, expressing his gratitude for them. "For that, I can never repay you except in saving your World."

Moon Cancer smiles, hearing the good they did during this time. He could tell that Archer of the Resistance didn't give up hope in their resistance, in fact, he placed his entire being for it. "Why did you say that? Why are you speaking like this Resistance is your life's work?" The black-hair man asked.

"Why?" The Archer blinks at the Hero of the Second Chance. "Because individuality makes the world go round, what the Ruler of the Eternal Empire is doing strips that from you." He explains the reason why he considers the Resistance is his life's work.

"You really know how to make someone feel better, Archer." Moon Cancer smiles, appreciating his words of confidence to him. "Thank you for it."

Archer of the Resistance nodded, "Don't mention it, the last thing I want to see is to see you all in despair in your conviction in resisting the Empire." He smiles softly.

The alarm blasted through the halls and rooms, Archer and Moon Cancer looked at each other before heading to the Command room.

Everyone was present before Prometheus, standing in front of him were Louis Agreste, Gabriel Agreste, Nathalie Sancoeur, and Bunnyx or Foreigner.

Moon Cancer and Archer arrived at the Command room just as Assassin of the Resistance steps on stage.

The white-haired Assassin looks at the rebels before him, "Thank you for coming everyone, I know with the unsettling news of a failed assassination by Berserker and Saber's team on Lancer of the Eternal Empire and the fall of the Paladins things are bleak for the Resistance." He spoke, looking at the concerned faces of the people.

"But rest assured that the time of uprising is drawing near." Assassin stated, causing the people to whisper amongst each other.

"Caster of the Sakura Labyrinth sent word that a master from Chaldea has defeated Rider, Assassin, and the Archer of the Eternal Empire." The Assassin gave some news to the people of the Resistance.

Many faces were surprised by the news, not only that the Chaldean master defeated one of the Imperial Inquisitors that went with the Avenger of the Eternal Empire. But he manages to defeat them all where they are struggling with assassinating one Inquisitor.

Louis's eyes widen, looking at his Grandfather and his Assistant who share the same shock. "(The Chaldean master did that?)" The blonde blinks impressed at what the master accomplished. Hearing the achievement that he did quells something inside him, like a daunting feeling that lingers within him.

Prometheus looks over to Louis, sensing some kind of change within him. "…"

Bunnyx steps forward, "However that doesn't mean he's all-powerful," The Hero of the Last Chance explains to the people under their protection. "The Chaldean master is still a Human just like you and me. So as a request from Caster, he asked that me and Assassin guide them here to help our cause."

"Until then, we will be halting our operations until both me and Bunnyx will return." Assassin of the Resistance informed the group. "Gabriel will be taking over as group leader; I have my utmost confidence he would protect you in my absence."

Gabriel nodded, giving an ensuring smile that their safety will not be compromised. "You have my word my fellow Parisians,"

Many agreed with the plan, hoping that both of their leaders will bring the one to correct their timeline.

Louis walks down the hall after the meeting, he was planning to see his Aunt and Assassin off to meet with Chaldea. He clutches his hand with his Command Seals, unsure if he's fit to be a leader of the Resistance.

"Master Louis? Are you alright?" Louis jumps, turning to an orange-red eye on a wall panel.

"O-Oh, Caster. I forgot you can do that here," The blonde boy smiles at the sight of their protector.

Prometheus nods, "I'm sorry for snooping, but I can't help to notice that you have doubts since you heard of the Chaldean master defeating three Imperial Inquisitors." The God of Fire observes from the meeting moments before. "Is there something wrong with your Command Seals?" He asked.

Louis shook his head. "No, it's nothing like that. It's just I'm not sure if I'm cut out to be a master to the Servants here." The blonde boy told the Machine God. "To be honest, when Assassin told us that the Chaldean master killed three Imperial Inquisitors…I can't help but compare myself to him." he sighs, confessing to the God of his worries.

"I'm just some kid who happens to be the son of Ladybug and Chat Noir," Louis stated, having an inferiority complex to normal people who achieved great things. "I think that's why Caster of the Sakura Labyrinth chose me, thinking I might have the same abilities as my parents."

"Master Louis, everyone has something great within them. The reason why Caster chose you is that he knows you can do something great." Prometheus comforts the boy, "Though you may not see it yet, there's a chance for you to show that greatness he sees in you. Like I do."

Louis chuckles at the Machine comforting him as a Human would to another. "I still can't believe that a machine understands what Humans are feeling." He smiles at the wall panel.

Prometheus lets out a small chuckle, "I am sheltering you within my facility, it's the host's job to ensure his guests are well no matter what the problem is." The God stated, happy to be of help to the Humans even if they are destined to be pruned.

"Thank you, Caster." Louis smiles at the God.

"Louis, why are you standing around here?" Louis and Prometheus look behind them where the white-haired Assassin of the Resistance walks towards them. He stops seeing the God with his master. "I see, I'm sorry for interrupting this conversation." He apologizes to the two.

Prometheus looks at the Assassin Servant appearing in the hall. "No, we were just finishing with our talk, Assassin of the Resistance." The Caster stated,

Louis nodded, "Yeah, you weren't interrupting Assassin."

Assassin smiles relieved that he wasn't being rude by walking in on them. "That's good, mmm?" The white-haired man looks at the God,

"Assassin of Resistance if you would can you take our friend with you? Just to see both you and Bunnyx depart to the past?" Prometheus asked the Servant sent from the Moon Cell. "I believe it would be educational for him to learn his heritage,"

Louis blinks, knowing all too well of his parent's legacy. "If you mean seeing what Auntie Alix can do, I know all about it." The blonde boy piqued.

"But do you see firsthand how she works it?" Prometheus asked, giving the boy some exciting moments in his youth.

The blonde boy shook his head, never seeing any of the Miraculous in action. Just seeing them on TV on those special channels that stream his parents fighting Farfella's villains. "No, I haven't Caster," Louis responded,

Prometheus nodded, "Then this is a special case, Assassin?" His eye looks over to the white-haired man.

Assassin nodded, "Very well, I don't mind taking our young leader to see us depart." The white-haired Servant smiles at the person who Summoned him. "Let's go, Louis, I'm sure your Grandfather, Aunt, and Uncle will see us off."

"Okay, Assassin." Louis followed his Servant to the main hall, curious how his Auntie Alix use her power. His mother told him that the Rabbit Miraculous was only used for dire situations, but this situation they were in counts.

An hour later, Gabriel, Nathalie, Archer of the Resistance, and Moon Cancer stand in front of the two departing to the past. Gabriel stepped forward, placing his hand on his Grandson's shoulder.

"Assassin, Mrs. Chiến Lê, we'll await your return to base." The older Fashion Designer said his farewell to the main leader of the Resistance and ally. "The Resistance Facility will be under my care. I'm sorry that my wife can't be here for your departure."

Bunnyx grins, "No worries, she needs to take care of the kids. It's fine, Mr. Agreste." The maroon-haired woman stated, "We're trusting you to run things here, so don't let the enemy come."

The brown-haired Archer nodded, "If anything happens like that while you two are away, both me and Moon Cancer shall take the Resistance to rendezvous with Saber and Berserker of the Resistance." The Servant stated.

Moon Cancer agreed with his ally, "If that fails, I'll use my second chance to return to this moment until you return." He clicks his Ouroboros Bracelet to this exact moment for caution.

"Assassin, Caster wanted me to give this to you." Nathalie steps forward, handing over the weapon Prometheus modify for his use. "He calls it Theos Snipe, imbued with Divinity to better your odds of victory over there." She informed the Servant of Humanity.

Assassin took the sniper rifle, adding it to his arsenal of Noble Phantasm. He knew of its creations ever since he met the God. "I'll make it to good use,"

"We better get going, we only have one shot of this before the connection is cut off," Bunnyx said, remembering what Caster of the Sakura Labyrinth said about their World. That only she can go back and retrieve help to save it.

Assassin nodded, stepping in the Burrow she prepared. "I shall return as soon as I can," He ensures the Resistance leaders.

Bunnyx waves, "And once I send Assassin back, I'll be taking a long way back here. See you guys soon!" She smiles,

Louis steps forward, wishing the two luck in their mission. "G-Good luck, Auntie, Assassin, come back alive." He watches the two disappearing through the Burrow and back to the past.

Imperial Palace a few hours later

"Report: Marie Antoinette Alter's Spirit Origins are no longer active," Hephaestus reported. "Analysis complete, the enemy used the Athena Klironomia to defeat Marie Antoinette Alter and bypass my Klironomia."

Ruler of the Eternal Empire opens his eyes, hearing the God of the Forge's report. "So Marie's hubris in defeating Chaldea was her downfall." He ponders, knowing that's her biggest weakness.

"Report: The Servant that was infused with the Athena Klironomia was defeated," Hephaestus added to his report to the Anomaly Emperor. "Message received: requesting to use Alter Ego's Noble Phantasm to provide a distraction for escape."

Foreigner of London walks over to the throne room. "My, my, it seems yet another Anomaly Queen has died at the hands of Chaldea." The blonde man smiles,

Ruler looks over to one of his master's Four Guardians Servants. "Foreigner of London, you're back from your mission already? I thought I won't be seeing you until the end of the week." The Emperor asked the mysterious Servant.

"Ah yes, that. I finished stirring up trouble in the Dimension next door to ours." Foreigner explains, strolling over to his eye range. "I met a certain Demi-God who has daddy issues and helped him a bit."

Foreigner grins, remembering the easily manipulated boy. "I gave him some tips, such as giving a Summoning Ritual both regular and modified to cause some real damage." He spoke proudly of his dealings in that other World. "In fact master requested that something must be retrieved there to complete the weapon."

Ruler raised his eyebrow at the Servant. "Tell me, why haven't you gone and retrieved said thing if our master asked of you?" He asked.

The blonde man laughs, "By now the Sea is filled with Servants sent by the Counter Force, and the Deities still remaining to prevent any of those monsters from the modified Summon Ritual for me or the residence to retrieve said item." Foreigner explains one of his reasons for not completing his task. "Oh, and the fact that our real master requested me to pluck him out of the past and back here with us."

Foreigner sips his wine glass at the upcoming chaos about to arise. "I forgot; master sent her here to keep an eye on things on the ground. So expect some information coming in soon."

"The biggest regret was to let you choose our master of this World." Ruler sighs, rubbing his templet. "You two are more alike than any others."

"Very well, make it quick. I received word from our master to have Alter Ego release his Noble Phantasm upon the World." Ruler stated, walking to order their strongest asset to make a distraction that the Chaldeans can't ignore.

Foreigner laughs, opening a portal to the past. "Oh, this will be great. You don't need to tell me, I already know what to do, Ruler." He enters the portal, waving bye to the Anomaly Emperor. "Caio,"

Alter Ego of White received the order and held out his hand. "….." A beam of White light hurls right at the portal on the City, traveling through time to prove a distraction for their master's escape. However, a black beam countered his Noble Phantasm causing a reaction that cancels his attack.

"…" Alter Ego stood still watching the portal close and awaits for the next order.
