Ch 45 The Eternal Emperor Pt 1

"John Wilkes Booth…" Ritsuka blinks, seeing the Assassin exchange his Pistol with his Rifle. "The Man who killed Abraham Lincoln at the Peterson House in America." He said, knowing Assassin is well known.

Charlie looks at the Assassin, remembering him now. "Ah, you're the Servant that almost killed my Grandson when we raid Kriemhild's Castle!" The Saber exclaims, pointing at the white-haired Servant.

Moriarty chuckles, finding this to be amusing. "A killer to kill a tyrant, I'm surprised the Counter Force has sent you to dispose of Karl der Grobe." The Ruler stated,

"Well, seeing that Karl der Grobe is more of a Tyrant and nothing like Lincoln. I figured it would be my purpose when I was Summoned." John said, opening his arms for his master to leap down from the ceiling.

He caught Louis in his arms, carefully placing him down on the floor. "And for your statement, Charlie," The Assassin turns to the Chaldeans after assisting his master. "As the other thing, I do apologize for almost killing you, master of Chaldea." John apologizes to Ritsuka.

Ritsuka shrugs it off, seeing that was in the Past. "He, it's behind us now. There's no bad blood with us now, right?" He asked the Assassin of the Revenge Realm.

John thought for a moment before accepting Ritsuka's words. "I guess not," The Assassin commented, not expecting that from the master of Humanity.

"See? I told you there was nothing to worry about." Louis smiles, looking at the Servant he Summoned. "As long as you show your intent, then it'll be all right." The blonde Boy stated,

The white-haired Assassin gave a light chuckle, patting his master's head. "Yes, you seem to be right on that master." He commented before feeling something was wrong.

John turns to the Chaldean master, "Fujimaru!" He pushed Louis Agreste towards the Chaldeans.

Louis fell back, seeing Sword impaled through his chest. "A-Assassin…" His eyes widen,

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Louis wailed in pain from another Person he cares for who died.

In another part of the Eternal Palace, BB and Violet ran down the stairs, searching for Hephaestus's main core. "How long is this hallway? It felt like we were in here for hours!" BB complained, and both she and Violet turned to the right.

Violet looks over to her Creator, "I'm not sure but-" They stopped as the Alter Ego extended her Spear arm and killed the Enemy Programs hiding in the shadows. "Based on the Enemies here, we're getting close to the Core." She said,

The two eventually rushed into a large area, the area underneath the Throne room. "So this is it. The God of the Forge, Hephaestus." Violet said before BB steps forward,

"Alright, Violet, let's make this quick," BB said, taking out a drive from her pocket.

Violet's eyes widen, "Watch out," She extends her arm, blocking the robotic arms from reaching BB. "Are you all right, BB?" The Alter Ego of Purity asked her Creator.

The Moon Cancer nodded, stepping back with her Creation. "Yeah, that was close," BB said, drawing her Baton as multiple Mechanical arms appeared from the ceiling, walls, and flooring.

An orange eye appeared before them, activating upon the two Extra Class Servants. "Enemies of the Eternal Empire detected, activating defense protocols." The Machine God announced, activating Defense Protocols.

"Well, shit, this is going to be tricky," Violet said, ready to attack/defend. "Ready, BB?" The Alter Ego asked the Sakura Face.

BB gave a light chuckle, tapping her Baton on the ground. "Of course, this is just a sidetrack." The Moon Cancer grins, "Let's make this quiet, my beloved Senpai is waiting for us,"

Back in the Throne room, Ritsuka held onto Louis as John Wilkes Booth fell after being stabbed.

"Assassin!" Louis cried, struggling against Ritsuka's grip.

Karl der Grobe rubbed off the blood from himself, "That was a bit of a surprise, you actually caught me off guard." The Ruler said, slashing the blood from his Sword. "If I was a regular Servant, then you would have succeeded. However, I am no regular Servant."

The Ruler looks over to the Chaldeans and the master of the Resistance. "However, I am no mere Servant." Karl der Grobe said, "I am Karl der Grobe, the Anomaly Emperor and Lostbelt King of Patricus. I'm integrated with the God of the Forge's Theos Klironomia and the Titian Pillar Pheobe, my durability has increased tenfold!"

Ritsuka continued to hold Louis, trying to prevent him from killing himself. 'It's true, Hephaestus's Klironomia can be difficult to overcome when Hephaestus is nearby. Plus a Titian Pillar integrated with Karl, he's damn near immortal.' The Magus thought before Charlie stepped forward.

"So what?" John looks over to Charlie, standing before Karl der Grobe.

"What?" The Ruler of the Eternal Empire stares at his Counterpart.

"So what if you have Theos Klironomia from both the Titian Pillar and Hephaestus? So what if you're more powerful than everyone here," Charlie stated, not even fazed by the Anomaly Emperor. "We have faced many strong opponents before you, and we all persevere through them all."

Ritsuka stood up after calming Louis down. "Charlie's right, we've faced many threats and faced stronger Enemies before." The master of Chaldea said, picking up where Charlie left off. "Karl der Grobe, you're just like every Opponent that fell before us. Like every Anomaly Kings and Queens, you will fall!"

"How insolent! You Chaldeans have been going around and disrupting everything I have worked for." Karl der Grobe responded to the Chaldean master's resolve, "As such, I Karl der Grobe, the Anomaly Emperor of Patricius, shall defeat you Chaldeans and end your crusade!"

Ritsuka held his hand out to his Servants, "My orders are simple, defeat Karl der Grobe!" He orders his Servants.

(Insert [FGO] Extended 30min - Lostbelt 6.5 Traum - Grand Battle BGM)

"I'm on it!" Charlie dashed forward, holding Joyeuse, and ran for Karl.

"As a fellow Emperor, I shall help you, Charlie!" Nero increased the flames on her Sword, charging for Karl der Grobe.

Karl der Grobe frowns, blocking a strike from Charlie before moving to Nero, striking her with his Sword. "Is that really all the strength you got?" The Ruler asked, feeling their Attack being weak.

Charlie and Nero jump back, giving themselves some space between themselves and the Ruler. "He's right, I put much strength in that strike and nothing." The King of the Franks stated, slashing a ray of light at them.

The two Chaldean Servants were hit, but still able to fight and took a little damage.

The Roman Emperor agreed, nodding to Charlie's comment. "Umu, even with my Flames, he didn't budge," Nero added before feeling an extra boost in her stamina. "Huh? Did our stamina just improve?"

"Nero, Charlie, we'll be lending our support!" Johanna announced, raising her Staff to the Attackers.

Xu Fu crunches her face, holding her hand out. "I do hate fighting the main Boss, but I guess it can't be helped." The Alter Ego stated Talismans floated around her. "I'm lending you my Healing abilities, don't go overboard!" She sent her Talismans at the two Sabers, buffing them.

Charlie saluted the two Supporters, appreciating their assistance. "Thank you, Supporters. Ready to continue, Nero?" He asked his fellow Emperor.

"Umu, let's go!" The two returned to combat, both deciding to do a hit-and-run tactic.

Charlie went in, slashing his Holy Sword but it didn't leave a scratch on Karl's body. "Tch," He quickly moves his body and lifts his Sword to block the Sword, both interlocking.

Nero quickly made her move, seeing Karl's back wide open. "HA!" She thrust her flaming Sword, only to have it deflected. The flames extinguished, unable to leave any marks on his body. "We can't pierce his body," She stated, "Xu Fu!"

"O-On it!" The Alchemist quickly acted, holding her hand out.

The Saber circled around, having Xu Fu's Sage Arts to boost her Attacks. "Sei!" Nero slashed upward, freeing Charlie from Karl der Grobe's pressure. "Are you all right, Charlie?" She asked as Johanna sent Healing Spells to him.

"I'll live," Charlie smirks, turning his attention back to his alter ego.

"Your Swords won't pierce me, you impudent Servants," Karl der Grobe glares at the Chaldean Servants. "No matter how much you attack, no matter how much support your Allies give you, your efforts to bring me down are fruitless"

With a single slash, he brought down Nero and Charlie, pushing them back from him.

"GAH!" Charlie and Nero slide onto the floor, being propelled by the Ruler's attack.

Ritsuka rushed to his Servants, holding them up as Johanna and Xu Fu immediately start healing them. "Nero, Charlie," He said their names, assisting them in sitting up.

"Just one strike and they were immediately taken significant amount of damage," Johanna said, informing the master of Chaldea of the Sabers' status. "The more we buff and heal them, the quicker Karl der Grobe delivers wounds."

"Distracted," Karl points his Sword at the Chaldeans, above the Throne were many Swords. "I shall end you quickly,"

The Swords flew towards the Chaldeans, aiming for their master.

Moriarty quickly acted, using his Lanterns as Shields to counter the Swords. They all deflected the Swords away from them, "Master," The Ruler steps next to his master, kneeling next to him. "Karl der Grobe's durability can't be breached with normal attacks, we need to destroy his source."

Louis, calm after seeing Charlie and Nero effortlessly trying to bring down the Anomaly Emperor. "Source? Where the hell can we find the source when we're busy?" The blonde Boy asked the Chaldean Servant.

"BB and Violet are looking for Hephaestus," Ritsuka caught Louis up with their plan. "We need to keep Karl der Grobe here while they take care of Hephaestus." The Magus explains.

The young master gritted his teeth, looking at Karl still commanding his Swords to attack them. "Then how long until the two can take care of Hephaestus for us to take out Karl der Grobe?" Louis asked,

"We can only wait for their sign."

Back in the Hephaestus Core, both BB and Violet were fighting off the Mechanical arms of the Machine God sent to dispose of them.

The purple-haired AI huffs, looking at the many Mechanical Arms, surrounding them. "Tch, the Olympians do really like their defense System," BB commented,

"Yes, but how do we get past those defenses to get to Hephaestus?" Violet asked her Creator, noticing her smile etched on her face. "BB?"

"Violet, do you remember what your components are?" The Moon Cancer smirks, hoping the Alter Ego knows what she was getting at.

The Alter Ego looked confused before realizing what she meant. Violet turns back to the Mechanical Arms, "Alright, give me a few seconds."

BB twirls in place before tapping her Baton on the floor. "A few seconds is all I can give you." Shadows appeared where the Moon Cancer tapped her Baton.

They erupted, gaining Physical form to combat Hephaestus's Mechanical Arms. "Hostiles Enemies detected, moving in for capture," Hephaestus said, moving his Mechanical Arms to capture the Extra Class Servants.

The Arms hurled towards to the Servants of Humanity,

BB sent her Shadows to counter the Mechanical Arms, she grins turning to her Creation. "Violet!" She called forth the Alter Ego of Purity.

Violet leaps in the air, extending her arm and blocking the Arms of Hephaestus. She landed in front of her Creator and glared at the Arms. "Mystic Eyes Activate!" She announced,

Her eyes glared at the Arms, freezing them in place.

"You've fallen for my trap, now freeze over!"

The Arms began to crack as waves of blast through them, Violet quickly made her way through the Arms, using her Spear-Arm broke through them. "Crack Ice!"

Every Arm shattered, giving BB the opening she needs. "Alright, here we go!" BB tosses a Flash Drive in the air before music started to play.

"BB…Channel!" The entire area went static before Hephaestus appeared in a newscast.

"What is this? Activate defense measures-Activation failed," Hephaestus tries to activate his defense protocols, however, they were overridden.

"Oh, this won't do! But don't worry," BB appeared in front of the God of the Forge, spinning around in place. "Leave this to BB-chan~!"

The Moon Cancer's clothes shift to a nurse's Uniform, now carrying a large syringe. "Absolute Recovery," BB grabs hold of the Flash Driver, then rushes towards Hephaestus's Eye.

BB injects the Flash Driver/Syringe into the God's eye and injects whatever they contain."Cursed Cupid Cleanser!"

"G-G-G-GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Hephaestus began to react to the Serum that BB injected into him. "E-Error, Error, Error, unable to cleanse, unable to…to…"

"Hehe, did the shot hurt?" BB floated back, giggling at the pain Hephaestus found himself in.

The Machine God began to glitch out, trying his best to cleanse whatever BB has put inside of him. "E-Error-detecting foreign-ZZZZZZ-"

"Sorry Hephaestus but this will take a few seconds." Prometheus's voice replaced the God of the Forge. The God of Knowledge hacked into his fellow Machine God,

"P-Prome..theus…"

BB smiles as Violet walks over to her, watching as Prometheus hacked into Hephaestus's Core attempting to revert him to his original Programing. "Oops, I almost forgot." The Moon Cancer looks up at the two Machine Gods fighting for control. "Hey, Prometheus, can you stop the Theos Klironomia? Senpai needs it to be shut down to defeat the Anomaly Emperor!"

Prometheus hacked into a few things before answering the AI. "Confirmed, Deactivating all Hephaestus and Phoebe Theos Klironomia."

Back in the Throne room, Charlie swung his Sword at Charlie, he held Joyeuse blocking his Counterpart's own Joyeuse. "Ngh…GAH!" Charlie screams, being knocked away by Karl.

The Ruler's eyes shift to Nero, bringing his Sword to counter hers.

"HA!" Nero once again ignites the flames on her Sword and gains an extra boost from Johanna and Xu Fu. Like before Karl der Grobe dismissed the Flames and shoved her to the side.

"No matter how much you try, you won't win Chaldean!" The Ruler of the Eternal Empire said, closing his eyes.

Both Nero and Charlie stood a few feet away, huffing after attacking Karl der Grobe consecutively. "Feeling tired Nero?" The Saber asked, huffing, feeling like he has been fighting forever.

"Heh, not a chance. I can keep going, Charlie." Nero responded, obviously covering up to keep the appearance she was not. "What about you?" The Roman Emperor asked her fellow Saber.

"No way, this fight is pumping my blood up!" Charlie grins, looking at the positive side of this situation.

"Umu! Then let's keep going!" Nero leaps forward,

"Alright!" Charlie joined the Roman Emperor, and both raise their Swords at the Enemy,

Karl der Grobe scoffs, quickly responding to the Sabers Attack. He swung his Sword, deflecting Nero's Sword before swinging it to the left to deflect his Counterpart.

"Once again, a foolish move," Karl kicks Nero, interlocking his Sword with his Counterpart.

The Pseudo-Servant grins, and their Swords crackle at each other's strength. "Well, if I'm foolish one then it makes you even the bigger fool!" Charlie chuckles,

"Such annoyance, you truly are an Anomaly yourself." Karl der Grobe glares at Charlie, "You were not supposed to exist after I sent the terminal to aid Chaldea in Traum. How, how are you even here?"

Charlie shrugs, answering his Counterpart's question. "I like to think that I was Summoned in this form as a way of the Counter Force saying thank you to Ritsuka for saving the World and Humanity." The Pseudo-Servant answered, "But that doesn't matter, I'm Charles Potter and King Charlemagne. That makes me and my master, Ritsuka Family, and if asked for my help then I shall help him as his Family!"

"Family…what a ridiculous notion. Family means nothing to me," Karl der Grobe said, "Children are too different to understand what we, Adults have worked for." The Ruler of the Eternal Empire said,

"I shall erase that concept and make everyone share the same thought process as me." The Ruler stated,

"Heh, like hell I'll let you!" Nero jumps above, striking the Anomaly Emperor.

Louis watched as the Sabers were still in combat with Karl der Grobe and Johanna with Xu Fu still lending their support. "What's taking so long? At this rate, Charlie and Emperor Nero will get tired," He then looks over to the two Supporters, looking like they're almost out of Magical Energy.

"Johanna and Xu Fu don't look good; they look like they might pass out." The blonde master said, informing the Servants' master. "Also, Assassin, John is almost dead…we need to get to him and heal him."

"We need to keep going," Ritsuka said when alarms sounded around them. "Huh? What is going on-"

"Deactivating all of Hephaestus and Phoebe Theos Klironomia, deactivating all Enemy Programs." The voice of Hephaestus overlaps with Prometheus's announced.

Karl swiftly turns to Hephaestus behind his Throne, not expecting this outcome. "What!? Hephaestus, what is going on!?" He asked the God of the Forge.

The orange eye looks over to the Anomaly Emperor, "Hephaestus, no, I Prometheus-Hephaestus takes no orders from you." The Machine Gods answered the Emperor. "As such, we shall deactivate every Theos Klironomia you have used to threaten this Dimension's Proper Human History."

Karl der Grobe gritted his teeth, feeling the Durability he receive from Hephaestus. He has planned for everything, using the Heroic Spirits from the Counter Force against the more Counter Force Servants. But he has accounted for his as well,

"HA! Take that Karl der Grobe," Nero rejoins Charlie, seeing the power boost that Karl der Grobe being revoked. "Now we have a fighting chanc-"

"Hold on Nero, it's not over," Charlie said, sensing something when Karl stops panicking.

Ritsuka felt something off, by now Karl der Grobe should be enraged by how Hephaestus no longer supports him, but he's rather calm.

"Heh…Heh…HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Karl der Grobe laughs as his Magical Energy increases tenfold.

"W-Wait, what is happening? Why isn't Karl der Grobe backing down?" Louis asked, not understanding the situation before them.

Ritsuka turns to Moriarty and Xu Fu, "Moriarty, Xu Fu, what's going on?" He asked the two.

"I-I'm not sure, master." Xu Fu said, unable to give a definite answer. "Karl der Grobe's Magical Energy just increased than before, and it's not from the Theos Klironomia," The Alter Ego said.

"Something else is giving Karl der Grobe more Magical Energy. But Hephaestus is no longer supplying it." Moriarty said, trying to unravel this conundrum. "What is it…"

Ritsuka assisted Moriarty in trying to solve this mystery until Johanna spoke up. "Um…master…everyone…" Johanna called for their attention.

The Magus looks at the Female Pope, hearing her voice. "Did you find something, Johanna? Something that explains Karl der Grobe's increased power?" Ritsuka asked the Ruler.

Johanna nodded, pointing to the outside, where Karl's Mech was still fighting Tenochtitlan. "There, where the Eiffel Tower once was…" She said,

"T-The Moon Cell…" Ritsuka's eyes widen, realizing that they messed up with their planning.

"T-The Cube is what's giving that jerk his power boost!?" Louis exclaims, now realizing that it's not only a power source for all the Technology in Patricius, nor tethering this Lostbelt from being Pruned,

It's a Magical Energy Source, and anything can use it to its full potential.

"Yes! I've accounted many things on how my Empire might fall." Karl der Grobe answered, swinging his Sword, "Even when you try to free Hephaestus,"

"AAAAAAAAHHHH!" Both Nero and Charlie were blown away by the force,

"Activating defensive measure, target, Karl der Grobe." Prometheus-Hephaestus activated their Mechanical Arms. They all went for the Ruler; however, he slashed each and every one of them.

Karl raised his hand, "Ever since I first activated the Moon Cell and began production of my Empire, I made sure to deal with foreseeable outcomes." The Ruler announced to the Chaldeans. "This very room is connected to the Moon Cell, the ultimate source of Magical Energy second to the Holy Grail!"

Ritsuka gritted his teeth, glaring at the Enemy as he spoke. "Now you see, you foolish Humans? Due to your lack of one mind, you all failed in overthrowing my Empire." Karl continued, releasing his Energy to intimidate the Chaldeans. "Now I shall destroy your Resistance, head to the Temporal Anomaly, and expand my Empire, the Empire of Patricius!" He laughs, seeing that he has won this War.

"You say that this room is connected to the Moon Cell?" A voice asked, catching Karl off guard once again. "Then the simple solution is to cut you off the room!"

Jumping from the door, Ladybug and Chat Noir appeared in time, "Chat!"

"Cataclysm!"
