Ch 49 The White Titian of Tassili n'Ajjer
"HA!" Violet extends her arm, the spear aiming at BB.
BB smirks, tapping her Baton on the ground. A pink barrier appeared, acting as a shield. Violet's spear arm was deflected off from the barrier, prompting the Moon Cancer to retaliate. "I know your every move, Violet." She said,
With a single tap, BB's barrier was dismantled. The straps thrust their edges at the now Enemy Alter Ego. Each of the tendrils hurls at Violet, damaging the walkway.
Violet dodges each attack, deflecting most but mainly dodging them. "You may know my every Attack, BB." She leaps down from the walkway, extending her arm underneath her Creator,
The AI looks down, seeing the Alter Ego's arm wrapping around her leg. "WAH!" Violet dragged BB to the ground, catching her off guard.
"But I've been learning some new moves from the time I've been with you all," Violet smirks, pulling her arm while dragging the Moon Cancer on the ground.
BB huffs, tapping her Baton on her Creation's arm. A shadow appears, breaking her free from her grasp. "True that you learn a few new tricks. But do remember Violet." The Moon Cancer pushed herself back, dodging a whip attack from her, "I too learn a lot from Chaldea."
BB smirks, getting up to her feet. She then dashed forward, attacking Violet,
While the two Servants fought each other, Ritsuka, Ladybug, and Chat Noir climb up the stairwell. "Ritsuka, what's the plan when we get to the top?" Chat Noir asked the Magus, wondering what the plan was to stop his Cousin.
"Try to capture him and somehow destroy the Moon Cell that's tethering the Lostbelt here." Ritsuka explains, "Sion, can you confirm that if we destroy the Moon Cell, this Lostbelt disappear?"
-ZZZ- Trismegistus II has confirmed that the Lostbelt will cease to be once the Moon Cell is destroyed. -ZZZ- Sion came on through the comms before continuing. -ZZZ- Trismegistus II also suggested that you should be cautious when facing Felix Graham de Vanily. -ZZZ- The Alchemist continued,
"Right, thanks Sion," Ritsuka responded before hearing Ladybug speak behind him.
"Ritsuka, that Person, Sion." Ladybug said, looking up at the Magus. "Do we really need to destroy the Lostbelt?" She asked, finally saying the thing she wanted to say.
Chat paused, looking at his Partner. "W-Wha-Ladybug, why are you asking about that now?" He asked his Girlfriend, curious why she was asking about this now. "We're literally in a fight for the future of our World."
Ladybug looks over to her Boyfriend, hearing him speak. "I know, but destroying a World just to save ours? I get everyone in this Paris said that they want to destroy it," She said, remembering how the People they met in the Lostbelt are willing to destroy their World. "But shouldn't we at least give them a chance to rebuild?"
"Mari…" Chat looks at the Hero of Creation, understanding where she was coming from.
Ritsuka stops advancing, turning to Ladybug for a second. "I understand what you're saying, Ladybug. But that won't happen," He said, understanding her. "I too feel the same when I first encounter the Lostbelts, but that's just wishful thinking. Remember the briefing back on the Storm Border, Marinette."
Ladybug nodded, remembering the briefing before they entered the Lostbelt. "Yes, but-"
Suzaku flew over them, hearing the conversation. "He's right, outside my Bounded Field is nothing. Just a big empty space where there are no other Countries left." The Grand Caster spoke through his Familiar. "That's what Karl der Grobe said to you before you came here."
Ladybug remained silent, still unsure what to think about this. "Ladybug, if you're still indecisive about destroying this Lostbelt, then think about it this way," Ritsuka spoke, gaining her attention. "Think of this World as a failed outcome, what we're doing is erasing it. After we've done that when you get back your Time Period, the People here still exist. As for your Children, you can see them again once you're of Age."
"Since you put it like that, Ritsuka…then we technically are restarting the timeline." Chat Noir said, seeing the reasoning behind his statement.
The bluenette ponders about the idea, also seeing the reasoning behind it. "I-I never put it that way," Ladybug said, feeling a bit better. "Then when we get back, we can start anew for the Future. Without the Empire and for the People who die here to live once again."
Suzaku nodded, confirming this plan to be plausible. "I can say that idea you have, Fujimaru will work. Only this Timeline got pruned by the World," The Familiar informed the masters of Humanity. "Not the Present, so you can go back and start up the Future once you two get back."
Chat's lips curve into a smile, "That's actually reassuring," He turns to Ladybug, his face expressing relief. "We can give Louis, Hugo, Emma, and everyone else a second chance in life." He said, supporting this idea.
"Then if we want to give a second chance of life to everyone here, we must stop Monarch," Ladybug stated, now determined to secure a way for the People of the Parisian Lostbelt to live in another way.
Ritsuka smiles, seeing Ladybug has acquired a new mission for herself. A mission to recreate this Lostbelt on how it should be in her Timeline. "Let's go then, we haven't any time to lose." He stated, heading up the stairs to Monarch.
The masters continued their way up the stairs with Abe no Seimei's Familiar, and eventually, they all reached the top.
Standing at the peak of the platform, Monarch looked down at the slumbering Sefar. "Magnificent, no? This being has the capability to destroy an entire Planet." Monarch said, turning his head to the masters of Humanity. "Am I right, Ritsuka Fujimaru? Then again…you did meet many Planetary threats."
Ritsuka was unamused by Monarch's small talk. "What are you getting at, Monarch?" The Magus asked the Anomaly master.
"Whatever do you mean? I was simply asking if this was a walk in the Park for you." Monarch turns to face the master and Heroes of Paris. "I mean you defeated many Gods, Demons, and Lostbelts and now you're doing this all over again."
Monarch gave a mischievous smirk at Ritsuka, "Tell me, how do you feel being back again?" The Villian asked, prostrating his Cane on the ground.
Ritsuka frowns, glaring at the Anomaly master as he continues to speak. "Personally, I find it quite enjoyable hearing about your mission to protect your World's Humanity." Monarch stated, "A singular Man going off and holds the Fate of Humanity over his shoulders…I must say it would be perfect for a light novel or something on the line."
"I know what you're doing, Felix." Ritsuka raised his hand, shooting a gem at a black Butterfly that Monarch sent while he was distracting them with small talk. "I have dealt with many Opponents that use talk to distract us as they are doing something else."
Monarch smiles, tapping his finger on his cane. "Such a keen eye." He chuckles.
The blonde Hero froze, seeing Ritsuka sensed the Akuma before they could. "Quit stalling, Felix!" Chat exclaims, not playing any games when they're this close to the danger. "You are outnumbered and you don't have any more Servants left to aid you." The Hero of Destruction stated.
Monarch chuckles, opening his arms. "Didn't you forget? I'm Monarch, I hold the Power of Transmission and I can do whatever I want now I'm close to my goals."
Ladybug steps forward, "Even though you have the Power of the Butterfly, your Power is limited." She stated, having devised a plan to prevent him from Akumatizing Sefar. "Chat and I are ready to purify any Akuma you might release."
"Heh, of course, you two would immediately go on edge now that you discovered my trick." The blonde Villian said before swaying back and forth. "Since you guys are on edge with my attempt to Akumatized Sefar. I guess my only option is to…" He leaps forward, raising his Cane at Ritsuka.
"Attack!" Monarch grins, getting close to the Magus.
Ritsuka responded, raising his hand, "Schild!" An Orange gem appeared before Ritsuka, shielding him from Monarch's attack.
"Ritsuka!" Both Ladybug and Chat Noir dashed forward, assisting their Friend.
Both Heroes draw out their Weapons, Ladybug tosses her Yo-yo and Chat extends his Baton at Monarch.
Monarch leaps back, dodging their Attacks. "Splendid! What a quick response!" The Anomaly Master said, looking at the two Heroes of Paris. He looks up, sees Suzaku flying over them, and releases some Fire Spells towards him.
Using the use of his Miraculous, Monarch dodges the Fire, slashing the Spells and disbursing them. "Now, hold on," Monarch said, looking at the Chaldean master and Heroes. "Since when did you fight unfairly?" He asked.
"I have no Servants with me, and yet you still have that Caster's Familiar flying above us." The Anomaly master stated, smirking at the three other masters. "How about we fight just the four of us? Master on masters, how about that?" He asked.
Ladybug and Chat looked at each other, "He's planning something. I just know it," The bluenette Hero stated.
"Yeah, I can't shake the feeling he has some alternative motives with this." Chat could sense Ritsuka walking behind them.
"He's trying to bait us into something, most likely he's waiting for us to lower our guard to do something," Ritsuka said, seeing this scene play out countless times. "It's imperative that we capture him right away,"
Ladybug nodded, understanding their goal now. "Got it, capture Felix before he gets to do anything to Sefar.
"I'm way on it!" Chat dashed forward, raising his Baton like a Sword.
"Chat! Don't-" Ritsuka called out to the blonde Hero, but he was already on his way to Attack Monarch.
Ladybug shook her head, seeing there was no stopping her Boyfriend. "Ritsuka, we can't stop him once he got his eyes on something, he's determined to do it." The bluenette stated, turning to the master of Chaldea.
Ritsuka sighs, accepting this sidetrack, "Alright, let's support him, Ladybug!" He held his hand to the Hero of Destruction, releasing some gems filled with Mana.
Ladybug nodded, heading off to aid her Partner. "Hold on, Chat! I'm coming to help!" The bluenette Hero called out to Chat Noir, leaping in the air and joining him.
Monarch smirks, raising his Cane and deflecting Chat's Baton as he lands behind him. "HA!" Chat then dashed forward, thrusting his Baton at him,
"Sei!" Monarch raised his Cane, blocking the thrust before seeing Ladybug leaping above them. "As expected, you two never are too far from each other." He said, kicking Chat Noir before using his Cane to wrap the yo-yo around it.
Ladybug was taken aback by the sudden action Monarch did, "GAH!" She felt herself being yanked forward, towards the Anomaly master.
Ritsuka clicked his tongue, taking out a red gem. "Feuer!" He shot the gems at Monarch, bursting into flames.
"Tch," Monarch clicked his tongue, maneuvering away from the fire. Eventually, he has to release Ladybug's yo-yo to avoid being burned.
The Hero of Creation rolled on the metal platform after being saved by Ritsuka. "Thanks for the save, Ritsuka," Ladybug said, appreciating his interference.
"Don't thank me yet, we still need to secure Monarch." The master of Chaldea said, looking at the Enemy master as Chat locked his Baton with his Cane.
Ladybug observes the Battle between Families before formulating a small plan. "Right, I got a plan to ensure Monarch's Capture." She informed the Magus, telling him what's her plan.
Clashing of both Cane and Baton echoes within the Supercomputer. Chat pushed down upon the Holder of the Butterfly Miraculous to the ground, using his awakened Magic Circuits he made a quick dash for his Cousin.
"Sei!" Chat once more thrust his Baton at the blonde Villian
"Really? Are you trying that trick once again- w-wha-" Just as Monarch was about to counter Chat Noir's strike, his hand was wrapped in Ladybug's Yo-yo.
Ritsuka then came in, tossing some red gems. "Gandr!" Sparks of red electricity shocked Monarch, causing him to cry in pain.
"GGGGGGAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"
Ladybug released her Yo-yo, not wanting the electricity to travel up her strings. "There, we've got him cornered!" The bluenette smiles, seeing her plan worked miraculously.
Chat joins in, watching his Cousin stumble back. "Nice work, My Lady, Ritsuka." He said, smiling at her and their Friend.
The shock ceased, causing Monarch to stumble back dropping his Cane to the ground. "Ngh," He leans on the railings, his eyes looking forward, seeing Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Ritsuka circling around him.
Suzaku was above them, ready to intervene when necessary.
"It's over Monarch, you have lost," Ritsuka said, looking down at Violet still in combat with BB. "Any remaining Servants you have are busy dealing with ours, now come quietly. You got nowhere to go,"
Ladybug and Chat got closer, about to take the Anomaly master in. "Heh…" The two Heroes paused, hearing him chuckle before bursting into wicked laughter.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Monarch threw his head back, laughing at the situation he found himself in.
"W-Why are you laughing? You lost this fight, Monarch." Ladybug asked, not liking how he was laughing.
The blonde Villian smirks, looking at those who oppose him. "Y-You think you may have won?" Monarch asked, leaping on the railing of the platform. "I'm sorry to say this, but I'm not going to let you all have your little victory."
He smirks, raising his hand with a dagger of an unknown design, "Wait, what is he-" Chat quickly caught on to what his Cousin was doing. "FELIX!" He tried reaching for him, however.
"Say goodbye to the World, Adrien." Monarch grins, thrusting the blade into his chest as his body begins to fall back.
Chat reached out, only to miss by a few seconds. "FELIX!" He cried out to the blonde master.
Monarch smiles, raising his Command Seals. "With my two remaining Command Seals, I order you…to take my body and awaken…Sefar!" All two of Felix's Command Seals disappear, and his body begins to glow.
Ritsuka and Ladybug came to the rails, looking at Felix as he fell. "Seimei!" He called out to the Grand Servant, already taking action.
"I know, Ladybug, a little assistance?" Suzaku flew down, calling for Ladybug to assist.
"On it, Caster!" Ladybug tosses her Yo-yo at Monarch, Abe no Seimei casts a Spell onto the Yo-yo to block the Command Seals placed around him.
However, Monarch kicks it away as he falls into the vat of Mana connected to Sefar. "No!" Ladybug cried out, seeing the Anomaly master fall into the vat.
Suzaku flaps over to the masters, unable to prevent Monarch from falling in. "I'm sorry, I did everything that I could," The Familiar apologizes to them,
Chat looks down at the vat, seeing it glow blue. The tube that connects to the White Titian began to glow too. "Um, guys…something's happening…." The Hero of Destruction said, observing the vat.
-ZZZ- D-Detecting powerful Magical Energy readings from the Moon Cell. -ZZZ- Ginny spoke, informing the masters of what was happening. -ZZZ- Director, you guys better get out of there. Whatever that powerful Magical Energy reading is…it's big. -ZZZ
Everyone looks at the sleeping Titian, and the entire Body begins to glow, indicating it's about to wake. "W-We better get out of here," Ritsuka said to the two,
Suddenly the entire Moon Cell began to rumble, and the light from Sefar glowed even brighter. Down at the entrance, BB was still in combat with Violet.
"Ha-" Violet paused, feeling her connection with her master gone.
Taking the opportunity, BB attacks the Alter Ego, leaping in the air as her Shadows attack her.
They all came to her, attacking each part of her Body. "GAH!" Violet cried in pain, feeling their edges slashed at her body.
Violet dropped to her knees, feeling their attacks ceased. "At all times, master decided to end it all." She said, feeling the trembling on the ground. "So, he's finally done it. That idiot woke up Sefar by using his own Body and Command Seals…"
BB landed in front of her, taking note of the surrounding activity. "Say, Violet, now that your master ditch and abandon you…ready to put an end to this?" She asked her Creation.
"Yeah, whatever…I'm only fighting you because of my obligations to my master." Violet said, feeling her own Magical Energy decreasing. "I'm good as dead anyways. The only thing I could do is help the People I traveled the most," She said. (Insert 【[Fate/EXTELLA OST] - Sefar / White Titan Battle Theme)
The entire Moon Cell began to rumble, and everything including the vats around began to fall.
Ritsuka, Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Suzaku rush down the platform, heading down the stairs to the outside.
Ladybug looks to the side where Sefar is, she can see that the White Titian is moving. "S-She's starting to move." She cried out, informing the two. "I could see the arms and legs moving!" She panics,
Sefar's Body pulsated with Magical Energy that vibrated the air. "T-This feeling…i-it's like the soundwaves hitting your body!" Chat gasps, feeling the vibration of Sefar's movements.
-ZZZ- T-The vibr….is…interup….-ZZZ The connection between them and Chaldea was cut off due to the interference of the vibrations.
Ritsuka gritted his teeth, now that Sefar is waking up, there's one thing to do. "We need to get out, now!" The master said before a vat fell on the stairs.
The stairs broke, leaving the masters stranded. "The stairs, it broke!" Chat exclaims, seeing there's no way down. "How are we going to get down from here?" He asked everyone.
"Watch ou-"
Soon more rubble fell from the ceiling onto the group, sealing them underneath.
The White Titian opened her eyes, beginning to rise from her fetal position. Outside of the Moon Cell, the entire Supercomputer began to crack before it burst apart, destroying the Moon Cell in the process.
Towering above the City was a giant White Titian. The Titian was feminine, with huge hands with cubes in her palms, and the winds blew through the veil over her head. This was Sefar, the White Titian of Tassili n'Ajjer.
Her eyes gaze upon the end of the City, she folds her arms before releasing a white beam towards the City. The attack exploded at the end of the Empire,
That attack broke through the Temporal Barrier that Dorian Grey made. The reality cracked before bursting like glass of a window, revealing the Present Day Paris.
Sefar began to walk on the Empire's roads, heading towards the window to the Present under Felix de Graham Vanily's influence.
