I am so sorry for the late update. My computer was in the shop for more than two weeks, which caused me to get a bit behind with updates. We will be returning to the regular rotation.

Conversation 47: I could be in Malta right now

The new consultant: Thank you for emailing the homework. At least I now have something to do while we wait for Afia's dads to get out of meetings.

BITC: No one is thankful for homework.

The new consultant: I know, but I don't wanna get behind. Even though I hate most of our classes.

BITC: You should take classes at Empire State next year with us. I'm not even sure I will be taking any courses at Midtown next year other than maybe history.

The new consultant: I'm thinking about it. You know I only stayed behind so that Flash wouldn't be alone. Flash is thinking about testing out and then going to SI full time. But Pepper wants him to go to Business School. So, that might not be an option. She has sent him the name of every university with a business program within three hours of MIT.

BITC: Of course, this is all dependent on the end of the world not happening.

The new consultant: It wasn't the end of the world. We were just erased from existence.

BITC: I'm sure that will make more sense tomorrow. Ana refuses to tell me who was among those taken out by the purple one. It is still tomorrow, right? You're not waiting for me at Flash's apartment.

The new consultant: We're still at the lighthouse. Afia is still with Wanda right now.

BITC: How long does a magical checkup take?

The new consultant: Awhile. But I'm sure it will be over soon.

BITC: Have you heard anything else from your cousin?

The new consultant: Not yet. Also, Natasha was voted as the one to message her.

BITC: They should let you talk to your cousin. That's so unfair.

The new consultant: Completely unfair. Although Robbie said he would pass a message on for me as soon as he's able to.

BITC: How is he going to do that?

The new consultant: It's better that you don't know.

BITC: It's probably once again too classified for this conversation. My packet contains a lot of redacted information. I'm still really confused.

The new consultant: Yes.

BITC: Hey, is there a reason why Peter hasn't responded to any of my text messages today. I also emailed him the homework assignments. CO and CM said they would send Flash his homework.

The new consultant: I will let him know. Your mom contacted Mr. Stark via her attorney because you texted Peter yesterday while you were still at her house.

BITC: I'm not even surprised she is monitoring my phone again. Lola made her promise that she would stop doing that.

The new consultant: I don't think she cares. Peter promised not to contact you to keep her calm and not realize that Vanessa is getting ready to pounce on her. At least not until Vanessa does her thing. So don't message Peter with your regular cell phone. Regular communications can return after the paperwork is filed.

BITC: That completely explains what Afia told me earlier. Also, why she's only texting me on the Avenger line.

The new consultant: She loves loophole abuse.

BITC: Dad just told me about Vanessa. She's coming to meet with us in 10 minutes, so I'll talk to you later.

The new consultant: Good luck. I hope you get the custody arrangement you want. Or at least at a minimum, your mom will stop spying on you.

BITC: So do I.

Spidey too: Hey, I am at your house. My counterpart's aunt let me in. I'm surprised she is still here.

Purple Princess: She had to turn over her Jarvis Foundation projects before moving onto the Malta project. I'm pretty sure a Quinn jet will be picking up her and the girlfriend any minute.

Spidey too: Is the Malta project a euphemism for taking care of the little kids with superpowers for an indefinite amount of time as we wait for a purple genocidal maniac to come kill us all?

Purple Princess: Not all of us. Just half of us. I guess you read the executive summary?

Spidey too: I still don't get half of it. I'm not joining Ms. Parker-Riley, so consider that a good thing.

Purple Princess: I will explain more later. Although silver lining, you weren't one of those that died.

Spidey too: No, but I was kidnapped by Ross and held hostage for four years. They were trying to re-create my superpowers.

Purple Princess: Oh fuck. Ana, why didn't I know about that?

Ana: I was cleared only to share that information with Spidey Too herself, per the instructions I received from Friday. The Avengers in the beta timeline do not know who Silk is. However, Spidey Junior felt that you needed to be warned. He is friends with beta Friday.

Purple Princess: Yep, Spidey Junior would do that. At least you have a cool code name.

Spidey too: Actually, I think I want to go with Silk. I like it.

Purple Princess: Silk it is.

Silk: I tried to text you earlier, but Ana said you were busy with your sister-in-law. Apparently, they were running a bunch of tests. By tests, does she mean my monthly visits to Dr. Fitzsimmons?

Purple Princess: Similar, and she was there. But this was a little more "magic" than science. My powers have been weird lately.

Silk: Weird, how?

Purple Princess: I need sleep and food now. Along with a gallon of coconut water. I get dehydrated quickly.

Silk: So you're essentially becoming human.

Purple Princess: Yes.

Silk: After developing spider powers overnight, that doesn't surprise me. I'll get you a chocolate sundae when you get your first period.

Purple Princess: Bless you.

Purple Princess: Dad is still in meetings, but I think we'll get there around midnight tonight. We can talk in the morning when we pick up BITC to take him to the safe house to talk.

Silk: I know that he knows that I'm one of Laura's kids. How much does he know?

Purple Princess: Just that as requested. Although if you do tell him that you were bitten by the same spider that bit Spidey, please make sure I'm there.

Silk: Of course

Purple Princess: Hey, are you in San Francisco yet?

Genius Princess: Yes, we landed about 15 minutes ago.

Purple Princess: That's good.

Genius Princess: Has the other team left?

Purple Princess: They are resting and finalizing the attack plan. Apparently, if they leave now, it will be the middle of the night where they're going.

Purple Princess: Thankfully, my future self had the good sense to send the time zone along with the coordinates. We still haven't heard back from the Guardians yet. They would make great backup, but it looks like the team is going alone.

Genius Princess: You've always been pragmatic.

Genius Princess: Do you know why you now need sleep? Nothing showed up in my diagnostics yesterday.

Purple Princess: Did you know that Wanda wants to have a baby with my big brother? The natural way or as natural as possible when you have the powers of an infinity stone at your disposal.

Genius Princess: I know they want to have kids, but I thought they were just adopting.

Purple Princess: Wanda thinks that her powers can allow her to create a child. She's using me as her test subject.

Purple Princess: Or she decided since she lost her brother, she would make a sister-in-law instead.

Genius Princess: You're becoming organic?

Purple Princess: Thank you for not saying becoming human.

Genius Princess: I think you're already human.

Purple Princess: I think that might be the plan eventually.

Genius Princess: Is this what you want?

Purple Princess: I think it's what I need.

Genius Princess: Are you back in Queens yet?

Purple Princess: We were about to hop on the Quinn jet, but then dad got an emergency call from Yo-Yo and Bobbi. So the dads are dealing with that. I don't think it's good because Cap Dad broke a wall. Dad is making him go to medical.

Genius Princess: That's not good.

Purple Princess: Not at all. Also, dad needs to talk to you. Immediately. Work stuff. He probably needs to brief you on whatever is happening in San Francisco that he won't tell me about.

Purple Princess: Actually, he's texting you now. I will leave you guys to talk.

Chief mechanic: So, baby girl told me that you're in San Francisco.

Purple Princess: Yes. We're inviting Dr. Bill Foster to an event at the center tomorrow. We're hoping that Pym will show up.

Chief mechanic: And if not, at least you can help him with his daughter. You can help him with his daughter?

Genius Princess: Yes. We just need the particles from the quantum realm. I've developed a device that will allow for enhanced collection.

Chief mechanic: Good. While you're doing that, I need you to send one of your underlings that you trust to gather another DNA sample from Sharon's neighbor. I would say do it yourself, but you don't have time. Just make sure there's not a chance that the sample can be corrupted by my honey bear.

Genius Princess: Why?

Chief mechanic: I'm sending you the results of the DNA test from the sample Yo-Yo got last night.

Genius Princess: I understand why you want me to rerun the test. Although the DNA is slightly different. Almost the same as with Dr. Fitzsimmons and Dr. Leopold.

Chief mechanic: Yes, and we know that Dr. Leopold is a Dr. Fitzsimmons variant.

Genius Princess: You think that Sharon's neighbor is a Steve variant?

Chief mechanic: That's better than thinking he's a geriatric Steve clone raised by Hydra. That was honey bear's theory. Which is why you're going to have to have a wall fixed.

Chief Mechanic: Okay, he actually broke his hand. So no space adventures for him. Which will make Agent May happy because she didn't want him to go anyway for reasons only known to her. I will have to call Helen to see if she can speed up the healing process.

Genius Princess: Have him visit the infirmary on the Wakanda level. We can have him fully recovered in less than a week.

Chief mechanic: If you really think about it, a variant makes the most sense. It is a little suspicious that he just knew the truth about what the US government did to Isaiah Bradley.

Genius Princess: If he is a variant, that means he had some means of getting here.

Chief mechanic: Bingo. I don't think it's the monolith in his case. Now that we have a working understanding of beta Simmons' work, we might have a prototype working at the end of the week. However, anything will help. We don't know how much time we have.

Genius Princess: I will take care of it.
