Ch 55 The Beginning of the End Pt 6

Paris, 2019

Looking up at the sky, a giant hole like before looms over the People of Paris. A certain brunette Girl and her Boyfriend held her Phone as they walked over to where many Parisians were gathering. "Hurry it up, Nino! This is the scoop of the Century!" Alya said,

Nino huffs, holding onto his Girlfriend's Phone, still recording the Temporal Rift above them. "Hold on, Alya," He huffs, taking in deep breaths. "Just give me a moment to catch my breath,"

"Just hold the Phone still," Alya said, seeing her Boyfriend holding her Phone up to eye level.

The brunette Girl cleared her throat before addressing her Viewers on the Ladyblog. "Ahem, heya Peeps, this Alya, Live here on one of many Streets here in Paris." Alya greeted the Viewers who were tuning in from their Homes.

"As you were aware, last time we witnessed something many wouldn't ever see," Alya said, informing the Viewers just like a Reporter. "Just two weeks ago, Paris was Attacked by none other than History's most Famous Queens, Marie Antoinette."

"She announced herself as Avenger of the Eternal Empire, aka Marie Antoinette Alter," Alya said, recapping the events that transpired prior. "She was responsible for commanding these Special Villains to attack us, declaring vengeance on us for doing her wrong during the French Revolution many Centuries ago."

Alya looks up at the Phone, still retaining her Reporter persona. "Fortunately our beloved Heroes, Ladybug and Chat Noir and some assistance from a secretive group Named the Chaldea Security Organization have combat and defeated the Evil Queen." She motions Nino to move the Phone upwards to the sky, where the Rift was swirling menacingly.

"However, just Today, the Rift that was caused by Marie Antoinette Alter has returned." The brunette Teen said, informing the Viewers. "What it means remains unknown, the Heroes of Chaldea have been evacuating some Parisians away from the City. However, we've yet to hear from our Protectors." She said, catching something from the corner of her eye.

Alya watches as two Figures leap down onto a Building and onto the ground. "Alya! Nino!" She was surprised to see Ladybug coming up to them in haste.

"Ladybug!" Alya smiled as Nino turned around to show the Camera to the Hero of Creation. Alya quickly went over to Ladybug, hoping for an interview on the situation. "Keep holding the Phone, Nino! This is an exclusive scoop on what's happening." She said,

Nino nodded, giving a thumbs indicating that they were still rolling. "We're all good here, Dudette!" The dark-haired Boy said,

Alya smiles, turning back to Ladybug and continuing their exclusive interview. "Anyways, Ladybug can you tell us what is going on here?" She asked the bluenette Hero. "Can you lend your insight here for everyone who's watching?"

Ladybug looks at Alya and Nino, holding the Phone many were watching the events taking place. "Um, I-"

"Master," Octavian spoke, standing behind her while she interacted with her two Friends. "I'm sorry for interrupting, but we don't have much time." The Saber stated, informing the bluenette Hero.

Both Alya and Nino looked at the Roman Emperor standing behind her. "Ladybug, who is this Man next to you?" The brunette Girl asked her Hero,

"Is he one of those Chaldean…um, Servants?" Nino asked, moving his face from Alya's Phone to see the Saber with his own eyes. "Is he going to help too?" He asked,

Ladybug sighs, moving her hand to Nino and blocking the Camera on the Phone. "Alya, Nino, this is something not for others' ears," She said, her voice indicating the seriousness of the situation.

Alya blinks, hearing what the Hero of Creation is saying. Her eyes shift to her Boyfriend, understanding what needs to be done. "Nino, cut the feed. This is really important." She said,

"Are you sure, Als? This could be your one big scoop as you said," Nino asked, wanting to make sure with his Girlfriend before he made a mistake. The last time he made a mistake wasn't a pretty outcome.

"I'm sure, Nino," Alya said, raising her voice a bit.

Nino didn't need a second answer, he immediately stopped the feed. "Alright, the Stream stopped streaming." The dark-haired Boy said, informing the group.

The brunette Girl turns to Ladybug and her new Companion. "We're now good, so what is it you want to talk about, Ladybug?" Alya asked the Hero that protects Paris. Her eyes then noticed that someone was missing from her. "Why isn't Chat Noir with you and who is this Servant?"

Octavius smiles at the two, placing his hand on his chest. "The Name's Saber, my Summoner, Ladybug here has asked me to help you all to protect your Home." The first Roman Emperor said, turning to his master. "I'm sure my master can explain things better than I do." The red-haired Saber stated,

"Master?" The two questioned in unison, unsure what was happening even more.

"What Saber means to say is that Chat Noir and Ritsuka are holding off a powerful Enemy that could easily wipe out the Planet itself," Ladybug quickly explains to her two Friends. Based on their shocked expression, it's understandable that they were now even more confused than ever. "The point being, we have a way to defeat it but we need to prepare for it's coming." She said,

"Everyone is working hard at all ends, we need to clear the area when that thing comes down from that Rift!" Ladybug stated, hoping they'll agree to lend a helping hand in this crisis.

Both Alya and Nino looked at each other before replying to the Hero of Creation. "What do you need us to do?" Alya asked, ready to dawn the mantle of the Hero of Illusion.

"Same here, Ladybug. You can count on a Dude like me to help." Nino added, also ready to become the Hero of Protection once again.

Ladybug smiles, grateful to have two Friends like them. "Thank you, now I just need-"

"The Miraculous?" Everyone turns their attention behind them, standing near the Alleyway was Wang Fu with his hands behind his back.

With him was Jeanne D'Arc and surprisingly Hawk Moth, "H-Hawk Moth!?" Alya, Nino, and Ladybug exclaim, seeing their Archnemeses and the reason for the many Akumas that terrorized many Parisians.

Jeanne steps forward, calming the situation before something happens. "Hold on, I know he did some evil before. But he agreed to lend his assistance in the upcoming Battle." The Ruler explains to the group,

"I find it hard to believe that a Supervillain like him makes a quick turn like that," Alya said, not trusting him one bit.

Nino agreed with his Girlfriend, having some thoughts about working with a Supervillain. "Alya's right, how can we trust someone who uses People like tools." He said, standing with Alya.

The young Teen looks at Jeanne, seeing her defending Hawk Moth. "T-That doesn't mean we don't trust you, Laeticia-I-I mean Lady Jeanne D'Arc." Nino flinched,

Jeanne merely smiles, looking at the young French Boy. "Please, call me Jeanne or Ruler. In any case, I can tell when someone is genuine." The blonde Servant said, "You can call it a Saint thing,"

Ladybug ponders, she knows that Tikki said Jeanne was someone who wants to see the good in People; no matter what actions they did. She looks at the Holder of the Butterfly Miraculous, wanting to ask him something. "Hawk Moth," She called his Name.

The former Villian shifted his eyes towards his Archenemy, replying to her call, "Yes, Ladybug?" Hawk Moth asked, feeling strange to be speaking to the one who has the Miraculous he's been after for so long.

The Hero of Creation steps forward, facing her fellow Miraculous Holder, "Answer this question honestly, Hawk Moth." Ladybug said before going through with her question. "You've been after our Miraculous for Years. Why are you deciding to help us now?" She asked, observing his answers.

Hawk Moth gave a deep sigh, his eyes looked over to Jeanne and Master Fu. His gaze returns back to Ladybug and her Allies, giving them the same answer as he did to the latter two. "What I desire is already within my grasp. The only reason I wanted both yours and Chat Noir's Miraculous was a means to achieve my desire." The former Villian said,

"I find that hard to believe," Alya scoffs,

Octavius nudges the brunette Girl who quickly holds her tongue. His attention returned to her master and the other's conversation.

"It's true, I have no intention to continue my efforts in taking the Ladybug Earrings and the Black Cat Ring." Hawk Moth said, holding his Cane staff. "However, Lady Jeanne and the Guardian asked for my help. It seems that it's something that could redeem the actions I've done to Paris." He said honestly,

Ladybug could tell that what Hawk Moth saying was genuine. Her intuition was telling her that they could trust him, but never once did her intuition was incorrect. "Alright, we'll trust you for now." She said,

"Are you sure about this Ladybug?" Alya and Nino asked, looking at the young Hero. Both were still skeptical about letting their most notorious Villain work with them. "How can we be sure if he has no alternative motives here?" Alya asked,

Ladybug looks at Hawk Moth, waiting for his answer. The former Supervillain answered the Hero of Creation, "If you have some doubts then I will offer my own Miraculous as reinsurance. Will that be enough to earn your trust?" Hawk Moth asked,

Everyone looked at Ladybug who was pondering on what the masked Villian. She looks up, giving her response, "Alright, we'll trust your word since we have little time to discuss it." She said, being reasonable,

Both Nino and Alya were skeptical about this, however, Ladybug's intuition was never wrong. Ladybug could see everyone was now in a good area and willing to work together. "Okay, now that we have a common ground, we can start our plan to defend Paris," Octavius stated before his master halted him.

"Hold on, Saber. We're missing one more that could be helpful in this." Ladybug said, walking over to the Guardian who had a few Miraculous on hand.

Wang Fu chuckles, knowing why the bluenette Hero is approaching him. "Alright, Ladybug choose the Miraculouses that could use to help in defending Paris." The Guardian said, offering a selection of Miraculous to her.

Ladybug nodded, already have a few in mind.

Final Front

-ZZZ- Director, we still need a few more minutes until the Hume Barrel is fully optimized for use. -ZZZ- Ginny said, relaying Da Vinci and Sion's message to her.

Ritsuka clicked his tongue, seeing they were at the Last Front. One thing, they're at the last Front is the fact the Temporal Rift was larger now than the other Fronts.

"A few more minutes eh?" Charlie asked, thinking about the information they received.

"That's hardly enough for us!" BB exclaims, hearing what they say in the Storm Border. "We're literally at the Final Front and Sefar is just behind us." The Moon Cancer exclaims, a bit outraged by how long the Hume Barrel is taking to charge up.

Chat Noir was a bit frustrated, however, now it wasn't the time to be frustrated at the Chaldeans. They were doing their best to save his Home Country, even though he and Ladybug didn't expect to face an Enemy that could destroy the World with ease.

The Hero of Destruction gave a serious expression, "Then the only option is to stand our ground here at the Final Front." Chat Noir stated, informing the others with him.

"Yes, Chat Noir is right. We have to make this Front really worth it." Ritsuka said, preparing himself for an all-out standstill.

The group soon arrived at the Final Front where Gabriel and the others were waiting for them.

Bunnyx smiled, seeing they finally arrived. "Hey, great you're here!" The Hero of Evolution said,

Charlie gently placed his master/Grandson on the ground where Gabriel and Louis went over to them. "Dad, Ritsuka! You're here!" the blonde Boy greeted his fellow masters,

Chat Noir placed his feet on the ground, his eyes saw his Future Son and Father gathered around them. "Louis, Bunnyx, Father, you're here." He said, accepting a hug from the blonde Boy.

BB looks around, seeing there are a lot of Resistance Soldiers on this Front. "Huh, so the other Fronts after the First one aren't compared to this one." She said, noticing the large Artillery situated on two Buildings.

"Koyanskaya gave her more powerful Weaponry to you for this Front," BB commented, seeing the two Guns were fully operational.

Nikitich, Ryunosuke Akutagawa, and Lugh were present at the Front, "You three are here,"

"Yes, master. I don't mean anything about Koyanskaya's Weaponry." Nikitich said, knowing why the Alter Ego gave the Guns to these Humans. "We're here in case for the worst-case scenario."

Lugh nodded, agreeing with the Bogatyr. He placed his Spear over his shoulders, "My Spear may not do enough damage to a being like Sefar, at least I can hold her off for the time being." The orange-haired Lancer smirks,

"Me being a Berserker in this materialization seems to be fortunate here," Akutagawa said, ready to meet his end at this Front for Humanity. "I'm ready to fulfill my duty as a Counter Force Servant,"

Bunnyx placed her hand on her chest, "I'm here to bring you to Abe no Seimei when this Front falls." She said, aware that the Fronts weren't meant to stop Sefar, just to hold her back. "And if things are dire then I'll bring you two back to the Present." She said,

"And you're okay with this?" Chat Noir asked, wanting to make sure with them. Especially his Son, who he grew to care for after spending time with him.

Louis looks at his Father, answering his question. "Yeah, I may be unsure at first. But for a chance to make our Paris into the proper Paris then it'll be worth it." He said, deciding to take the chance to bring back the happy moments before the Eternal Empire arrived.

Ritsuka nodded, seeing everyone was ready to defend this place to the very end. His eyes shift to Gabriel, who has a complex expression on his face. "Gabriel, are you okay?" He asked the old Man.

"Grandfather?" Louis looks at his Grandfather, also seeing his expression.

Gabriel frowns, looking back at the Guns on the Buildings. He remembered the sacrifices that the Resistance Soldiers and Servants made for them to prepare the Weapons and Chaldea's plan to defeat Sefar. "A lot of People sacrifice themselves so we can defeat that Titian…Felix…" He shook his head, focusing on the now.

"No, I'm alright," Gabriel said, turning to the others. "Alright everyone focus on the Battle at hand." He said, looking at the Soldiers.

Chat Noir could tell that his Father was placing his regrets down within himself. However, that was for later. "Father-"

-ZZZ- Everyone, heads up. Sefar's Magical Energy Magical Energy is encroaching on the Front. -ZZZ- Holmes returned to the Comms, relaying the information.

"Holmes, how's the preparation for the Hume Barrel?" Ritsuka asked his Advisor, wanting to know how long it would take to be fully operational.

Holmes checked with Da Vinci and Sion, working on the preparations. -ZZZ- It'll be another forty minutes, just hold out for a while longer. -ZZZ- The Ruler said,

Ritsuka nodded, looking at Gabriel, and asking his permission. "Gabriel, Louis, do you mind?" He asked the two Resistance Leaders.

"Mr. Fujimaru, you're well experienced with these types of Battles," Gabriel spoke, having little experience in fighting a Titian. "Fighting an Empire is one thing, however fighting an Ancient Titian is another thing."

Louis nodded, seeing firsthand how Ritsuka leading Servants. In fact, he's a natural Leader on the Battlefield. "We trust you to lead us for the time we have." He said, wanting him to lead us.

The Servants and Chat Noir all looked at the black-haired Magus, waiting for his answer. "Alright, Sefar is going to be here in a few minutes and the Front is the last one before the Temporal Rift." He said, turning around and hearing the footsteps approaching from behind them.

Everyone looked up, seeing the White Titian was literally on their doorsteps. Chat Noir and Charlie step next to Ritsuka, "Ritsuka, we're ready." Charlie said to his Grandson/master.

"Just say what you want us to do, and we'll do it." Chat Noir said, supporting him no matter what.

The Crater of the Eternal Palace

From the aftermath of the Battle between Tlaloc and Karl der Grobe, the Ruler's Noble Phantasm didn't disappear.

Despite being injured from his Battle with Chaldea, his Saber version, and the First Roman Emperor denounce his Rule. Karl der Grobe was still standing, though for how long he doesn't know.

The Anomaly Emperor approaches a window near his Throne, near where the Assassin John Wilkes Booth was nearing his end. "What are you doing?" The white-haired Assassin asked the Ruler.

Karl der Grobe gazes out of his Window, seeing his once-perfect Empire turned into rubble. "My Eternal Empire, my ideal Patricius that I strived for when I was alive." The Ruler said to himself, looking around at the Ruins of his Empire. "It's now ruined,"

His eyes then shift to the White Titian, still making her way to the Temporal Rift. Karl der Grobe frowns upon seeing the White Disaster. "I planned for everything, I made sure Sefar stayed asleep, I created a way to siphon her Magical Energy into an unlimited Energy, I even made Hephaestus build a way to restrain her…now…"

The Ruler frowned at his hard work to make his Lostbelt in his Dream into a reality. "It's now nothing but a shattered Dream." Karl der Grobe grips his fist, seeing things have yet again fallen. "(Master…is there a reason why you haven't shown yourself?)" He asked, wondering why his original master didn't show himself,

"Have you truly abandoned this World because of Sefar?" Karl der Grobe asked himself, questioning why his master didn't do anything when Sefar woke or the fact he was defeated by Chaldea.

John chuckles, hearing the Anomaly Emperor speak to himself. He turns his head to the Ruler, inputting his thoughts. "So that Felix Boy isn't your True master then, huh?"

Karl der Grobe didn't respond to the Assassin's statement, however, he did nod. "Seems like your master isn't a good master," John said, looking at the Emperor.

"Assassin John Wilkes Booth, what's a master in your terms?" The Ruler of the Eternal Empire asked the Counter Force Servant. "You were Summoned by the Son of Paris's two most powerful Heroes. What is he like?" He asked the Assassin.

"You want to know what my current master is like, your Majesty?" The white-haired Servant asked,

"Yes,"

John Wilkes Booth gave a light chuckle, looking up at the ceiling. "He's a pure-hearted Boy, he has a hardheadedness persona that I don't understand. But his sense of Justice is something admirable." The Counter Force Servant said, "He has a knack for gathering People to join the Resistance that opposes the Eternal Empire. I feel responsible for him after my Summoning, his eyes were filled with grief and suffering."

"As a Servant of Humanity, and as an Adult, it's a responsibility to ease his pain. For someone who has lost his Parents, I understand him." John said, chuckling at himself. "I committed many acts in my Life, even killing the President of the United States. Though my actions then are pointless. After becoming a Servant I try my best to preserve what that Man strives to work for." The Assassin said, "Helping master to stand up to tyranny aligns with my goal too."

"For an Assassin who wanted to keep their Country the same and keep slavery. I'm surprised that you even have that mindset." Karl said, finding it strange that he was talking to the Man who tried to kill him.

"Heh, surprised that I'm talking causally to a Tyrant." Johan Wilkes Booth turned his eyes to the Ruler, having a question for him. "Say, since your master isn't going to show. What are you going to do now?" He asked, hearing Cannons from his Allies firing at Sefar. "Those People, they're really giving a good fight against that Titian."

Karl der Grobe blinked, looking back at his fallen Empire on the Assassin's comment. He watched as the People he ruled while pondered on what John said to him,
