-The Enchanter of Fairy Tail-

Chapter 62: S-Class Level Threats

Year: X758. 26 years till Canon begins.

Cade POV:

"Enchanters Fury?" Questioned Gildarts to my right. "When'd you learn that one?!"

"It was something I was working on in between the days of training for the trial. It involves me using up a good chunk of my magic to fire a powerful beam that will cause a few explosions as it goes off." I explained, turning to him.

Currently all of us minus Master Makarov were back on the ship and were just about ready to head back to the mainland. Master had headed back into the island to find Frag and Scarlet. The old man was close to the steering wheel of the ship, while Quikora and Ivan were having a quiet conversation ahead of me.

Speaking of Ivan and me, the both of us were heavily bandaged up.

There were several bandages across my arms, legs, hands and my face. I could still move and talk just fine, but now that more pressure was being put on my wounds, it felt quite stiff to move around. Ivan was more or less the same, but he had a few more bandages going across him than me.

As we were heading back to the ship, I Requiped out of my armour and back into my casual clothes so that it would easier to be tended to. I had the old man here to thank for that.

While I was thinking about him some more, Gildarts spoke up.

"And how many other moves have you been trying to craft?" He asked with interest.

"Just this one. But I'm hoping that there will be more to come in the future." I grinned as I said that.

There was a moment of silence between us, with us both just hearing the waves of the island. Gildarts was the one to ask me a question next.

"So, what's the plan going forward in Fairy Tail now?" Gildarts wondered as he turned to look at me.

I thought on that. "Well… I might take an S-Class quest next early next year." I suggested, while putting some serious thought on it.

"Nice!" Gildarts gave me a slap on the back. With my injuries, I almost fell right over with that slap. "Oh! Heh, sorry about that Cade…" Gildarts said panicking that he nearly killed me there.

"Oh… I'm fine…!" I wheezed as I sat back up. "But yes. I'd probably take an S-Class quest." I said again to remind him.

"What kind would you go for?" Gildarts inquired.

"Hm? What kind?" I was befuddled by what Gildarts me at there.

Gildarts spoke to explain the system to me. "Well almost all S-Class quests are combat focused one way or the other. But you get some that focus on going to a somewhat far away town or island to complete the request. You can also get ones that just have you meet with a certain person as they may need a very strong wizard to help them with something. Course, then you can get ones that have you go to the Magic Council or Rune Knights, as they may need the help of a strong wizard." Gildarts finished explaining.

I nodded my head slowly in understanding. "Huh… Well I think I'd just have a look at the job request and see what the quest is asking me to do. Then I'd probably decide then."

Gildarts gave a somewhat surprised look. "Smart... I just chose the job with the highest pay." He said with a grin.

'Of course you did…' I thought, not surprised that.

"Would you want to me come with you?" Gildarts inquired. "On the quest I mean."

"You know… I kinda wanted to go on the quest myself." I admitted to him.

Gildarts looked curious. "Really? You should know that these quests are tough. Must be good to have some backup."

"I know that they are tough, but I don't need Fairy Tail's strongest wizard to accompany me." I said, giving a wink to Gildarts.

Gildarts gave a chuckle. "Well I won't force you. The choice is yours, but I would like to go on a S-Class quest with you someday."

"Of course! We're still a team after all." I gave Gildarts a bump with my shoulder. "Though I don't like having to deal with all the damage lawsuits that you always bring when completing jobs…" I sighed at the end of saying that.

Gildarts looked rather abashed when I said that. "Aw come on! I've been trying to not destroy as much as I usually do."

"Excuse me? You literally just destroyed the wall of the guildhall one time as you were too lazy to go to the door!" I countered.

Gildarts just laughed when I said that. I sighed as he laughed. I saw Master walking up the steps to the ship with Frag and Scarlet behind him.

Finally, it was time to leave the island!

As they got onto the ships deck, Master used some magic to raise the ships anchor and the board that was connecting the ship to the dock. He then gave an over-the-top leap to the steering wheel of the ship. The old man walked down to be on the ships main deck with us.

Master then began to spin the wheel of the ship, and the ship began to pull away from the dock that we were next to. Wind then caught in the sails, and we began sail away from Tenro Island.

As we sailed away from the island, I turned around to see the island get smaller and smaller as we got further away from it.

Eventually a thick fog covered the island and made it impossible to see. I guess that was Master Makarov casting that barrier that prevents people from finding the island.

As the hour that it took to get back to the mainland passed on. I had some talk with Frag and Scarlet, who were happy that I had passed. They listened with interest as I told them the story of my fight with Ivan. They winced at some details, like how I took that heavy beating from Ivan.

Eventually, they left to talk among themselves leaving me with Gildarts again. I spied the old man that came with us on this trip looking out across the sea. Feeling that he may be leaving us after we port at Hargeon, I decided to go up and talk to him.

As I approached the old man, he turned to see me coming up to him.

"Hey there." I gave the man a smile as I made it to him. "How are things with you?"'

"Oh, I'm just fine!" The old man gave me a kind smile. "Just taking in the vast ocean waves that are out here. I hardly see them." He spoke.

"Ah, you live quite close inland then?" I asked.

"Yes that's right." The old man nodded. "Congratulations again on making it to S-Class young man. Cade is it?"

I nodded my head. "Yep! It wasn't easy to make it to S-Class though, but I guess that it helps prepare me with what comes next."

The old man gave a chuckle. "From what Makarov told me, all recently promoted S-Class wizards must pay for all the beer at Fairy Tail when they return."

"What!?" I said in panic.

The old man then suddenly gave a loud and calm laughter. "I was joking with that!" He said as he waved his hand at me. He then gave me a serious look. "Or was I?"

I was silent – and also a little confused.

The old man then lowered his gaze and changed it to a cheerful one. "Oh relax! I've just been messing with you!"

'Just who is this guy…?' I wondered internally.

The old man then cleared his throat. "Well, I'm assuming that you don't know who I am. You've been reacting very differently than how most people act when they see me."

"I'll admit that was on my mind." I confessed.

"Well allow me to introduce myself to you." The old man began. "I'm Warrod, an old friend of Makarov."

I gave a forced smile as he said that. 'Yes I already figured that.'

The old man moved to continue. "Though, many may know me as Warrod Sequen, Wizard Saint." Warrod announced himself.

"Wh-What? Wizard Saint!?" I said with surprise.

'Ah ha! That must be how I recognised him! I must have seen him in a newspaper or something like that!' I realised in understanding. It all made sense now.

"O-Oh I had no idea! Nice to meet you sir!"

Warrod gave a chuckle. "Just Warrod is fine. Now tell me Cade. I heard from Makarov up there that you have been learning Enchantment Magic. Is that correct? He wasn't joking with me, was he?" Warrod gave me a frightening look at the idea of being joked with.

"No, he was right. I've been learning from a magic spell book that was handed to me by my father." I explained.

Warrod gave me a nod. "I see. Have you ever thought when you might be finished translating the book?"

Huh. That was a question that I hadn't really thought about.

"Oh… well there's around 50 pages to that book. I'm on page 22 right now." I explained. "I've been kind of going at my own pace honestly…" I said with hesitation.

Warrod picked up on the hesitation in my voice. "Do you think you should be going faster?"

"Well… kind of… now that I'm S-Class I might need some powerful spells to help me out. That book might be the key for that." I spoke.

Warrod seemed to understand what I was getting at. "Well I won't try to pressure you into going any faster. You should work at a pace that you are comfortable with." Warrod said.

I then saw that we were approaching Hargeon, and making for the port just up ahead. As we came up on the port, Warrod began to move away from me.

"Well I believe I will be leaving you here." Warrod turned to me. "I wish you well at Fairy Tail Cade." He gave me a smile as he said that.

"Nice meeting you Warrod." I gave a wave to the man as he left me.

The ship then came to a halt that almost caused me to fall over. Can't forget I was still heavily bandaged here. The ships anchor then dropped and the board to let us off the ship was deployed.

With that, the seven of us disembarked the ship and made in back into Hargeon.

Of which I was now freezing as I had no warm clothing on.

I turned and saw that Frag and Scarlet had changed back into the warm clothing that they brought with them originally. I was the only one that was experiencing this freezing weather. I had never noticed us leaving the hot climate of Tenro Island until we made it back here.

Warrod then said some words to Master Makarov, before he turned to us all.

"Well it has been a pleasure being here with you all. I hope that I can meet some of you again someday!" Warrod gave us all a wave before he then turned away from us and headed into Hargeon.

When he left us, Master Makarov turned to the rest of us. "Alright then! Let's head back to the guildhall! We have a new S-Class wizard among us now!" He said proudly as he turned to look at me.

There were a few kind words from everyone around me as Master said that – well all except Ivan that is.

And so, we all headed back to take the train to Magnolia, so that we may celebrate at the guildhall. I had a feeling such celebration included many brawls and many beer.

Upon thinking about that, I gave a smirk. Maybe I had some energy to spare with these brawls that would be coming up. I didn't usually fight, but maybe I'd make an acceptation this time.

As we got on the train and headed back to Magnolia, I saw that the sun was beginning to set in the sky. To think that everything that happened to me in the last few hours was all in one day. Obvious I know, but it still felt crazy.

As we pulled up into Magnolia train station, I could see that the sun was setting outside. We had been away for a few hours now, so it the day was finally coming to a close.

When the train halted at the platform that we would be getting off at, the seven of us exited the train and began to head towards the Fairy Tail guildhall.

As we were walking, my head drifted to the hills outside of town, where I saw my home overlooking the town. I did want to head back to see and tell mother that I passed the trial today. But there was this party coming up that was being held for me.

I sighed as I kept waking with the others to the guildhall. I would have time later to tell mother how I done in the trial.

Eventually we came up to the guild and there were several people outside waiting for us. They were gathered in a crowd and sprung to attention when they saw us coming. They eagerly began to look at us to see who had been the one to fight in the trial. I felt several stares and whispers of my name as we walked through the crowd.

Master Makarov then stopped and cleared his voice to address the crowd. Alright everyone listen up! We've returned from Tenro Island and we have a new a new S-Class wizard to join us!" Master announced as he shouted for the while town to hear. He immediately raised his voice to continue. "I'm more than pleased to announce that Cadewell Philipe has became an S-Class wizard!" Master directed his hands towards me.

When he announcing that, there were several cheers and applause for my success. Many of the wizards began to come over to me and give some kind words of success as well as a few pats on the back.

Everyone looked happy for me, and they were about to get happier.

"Now everyone! To the guild! It's time to celebrate!" Master shouted as he held up his hand in the air.

As I suspected, it took only a few seconds for everyone outside to dash into the guild for the celebration that was about to occur. I quickly found myself being swept past by all the guild members.

Before I knew it. Me, Ivan and Master Makarov were the only people still outside in the sunset. Ivan turned to look down to his father. "Father, I have to be go and see Alexis."

Master gave a hum under his voice. "Alright then. Take care of yourself Ivan." Master said with a smile as Ivan turned away from him. Ivan did give me a small glance, before he then walked away from the guild and back into Magnolia.

Master then turned to look up at me. "Not going to join the celebration Cade?" He asked with interest.

"Oh I'm going." I said as I widened my eyes a bit when Master said that. "I gotta tell everyone what happened during the trial. What about you?"

"Ivan's never been one for big parties. Figured I should I see him off before going in." Master replied.

"Well now that he's away, what are we – ah wait Master!" I suddenly said in recollection. "There was a stranger on Tenro Island! I saw them during the race!"

Master gave me a serious look. "You did? What did they look like?" He demanded with some seriousness.

"Well I couldn't see their face, but they were a young girl with a pink and white dress and blonde hair. Also they had no shoes on." I finished explaining. "I know this sound crazy, but I definitely saw her!"

Master Makarov calmed down when I explained the girl to him. Why was he relaxing? "Ah I see. Ah, you must have seen one of Quikora or Ivan's illusions. An attempt to throw you off the race surely." Master waved his hand, as if to dismiss what I said.

"Huh? You sure?" I said with doubt.

"Oh I'm sure. I did ask them to throw a few of them over the island so you wouldn't all be bored." Master explained nodding.

"Oh… right… Well it's no problem then I guess." I nodded my head at the situation being resolved. Still felt strange to know that it was an illusion, but I guess things got sorted out.

"Ahem. Now that we have nothing else to say…" Master gestured his head to the guildhall with a grin on his face.

I matched his grin. "Time to celebrate!" I said with pleasure as I began to run into the guild, with Master behind me.

When we entered the guild, I saw everyone sitting and drinking at the many tables in the main hall. There was beer being handed out, games being played and laughs being shared. I grinned at the sight. It was this that made Fairy Tail so special to many.

As I walked in the guild some more (I could hear that Master had broke away from me and headed over to another table), I was stopped by two voices.

"Hey Cade!" I turned and saw that it was Macao and Wakaba that had shouted at me. They were at a smaller table by themselves and were waving at me.

I smiled as I headed over to them. "Hey guys! How've you been since I last saw you?"

"You're asking us how we are?! How are YOU Cade?" Macao demanded.

"Exactly! You're S-Class now! How can you ask us how we are?" Wakaba followed up.

"Hey, hey, was just trying to be generous here." I held up my hands in defence. "But to answer your questions, I feel great! Well not physically at least, still a bit sore here and there." I muttered.

"What happened to you out there?" Wakaba asked as he looked at my bandages that were all over my body and face.

"Well to say it lightly… I got into a fight with Ivan and I won." I said as I gave a small smirk. The two boys weren't the biggest fan of Ivan, so I'm sure that would be happy to hear that.

"You beat him!?" Macao said awe. "Awesome! He was a real jerk."

"Yeah, I wish I was there to see that." Wakaba said after his friend.

"I think he would have been in a worse mood than he already is, if he was being watched by an audience." I said thinking on how Ivan would be.

"So now that you're S-Class, can we go on S-Class quests with you?" Wakaba asked with eagerness.

"Yeah, make sure to bring me as well!" Macao added.

"Now listen boys, I can't-"

"Yeah Cade, can't you bring me with you?" Came another guild member from behind me.

"Hey I called dibs!" Came a female guild member.

"Yeah let me go!" "Hey get in line you guys!" "Out my way you two!" "I promise I won't slow you down!" "I've been S-Class worthy for some time now!" "I've always wanted to go on an S-Class quest!" "I thought that we agree that I would be going on an S-Class quest!" "Let me through!" "Come on! Lemme go with you!" "S-Class! S-Class! S-Class!"

Suddenly, I was being overwhelmed by many, MANY guild members that all wanted me to take them on a S-Class quest with them.

Was this what it was like to be an S-Class wizard? This was not what I thought would happen... Did every other S-Class wizard go through this as they were promoted to the role?

As I was being swarmed by all sides, I realised that there was a place that I could escape to! A place that everyone couldn't follow me to!

The second floor.

I began to make my way to the staircase that led up to the second floor of the guildhall where all the S-Class jobs are. As I was moving there, all the guild members around me began to follow me and keep requesting that I take them on a S-Class job.

Not long later, I made it to the staircase to the second floor. I stepped on the first step of the staircase and turned to see everyone.

"Everyone; While I am happy to be so popular right now, I'm afraid I do need a moment to breathe. I will consider maybe taking some of you on a S-Class quest, but for now I must leave you!" I proclaimed as I began to sprint up the stairs to the second floor.

There were many grunts and groans as I moved up the staircase. I could eventually hear the crowds of people disperse below me.

I smiled when this happened. This is a good way of getting away from any large crowds in the guild. If I was being annoyed with his loud or chaotic it was, I could always come up here.

Upon making it to the second floor I saw that nothing had changed that much since I had last been up here years ago. There were still a few tables and chairs scattered across the place for sitting on. There was also the rail that allowed one to overlook the rest of the guild. A quick glance over showed that everyone was sitting at the many tables and benches below.

However, it was at my left as I came up here that I saw what everyone was asking me for just then. Stuck to the left wall of the second floor was a wooden board that had a few pieces of paper on it.

It was the S-Class job request board.

Unlike when everyone was allowed up here years ago, it was now no longer covered up. The thought and idea that I could take one of those requests and compete them was amazing to think of. Never would have thought that I would have been up here legit when I first joined the guild.

I moved over to the job board to see what kind of request were up there. As I got up to the board, I saw three sheets of paper up there.

I shifted my eyes to take a look at each of them.

S-Class

Reward: 1,000,000 jewels.

A leviathan had been plaguing the waters of southwestern Fiore. It has sunk many ships and had been halting trade. Recommending a skilled wizard that can handle themselves in the ocean. Report to Heti beach for more information and acceptance of the request.

S-Class

Reward: 1,150,000 jewels

Requesting some powerful wizards to assist with the extermination of a Dark Guild. They have been killing and taking advantage of many of the small communities up to the far northern corner of Fiore. Report to the Rune Knight branch in Northern Fiore.

S-Class

Reward: 1,200,000 jewels

I have an item of extreme importance to me. I am asking for the assistance of a wizard that would be willing to help me recover it. Please come to the H.M.C where I will be waiting for you. Thank you very much.

So… these are the requests that are such a big deal then, huh?

I'm not saying that they are pathetically easy, no I would probably find myself in for a challenge if I took any of them. A single mistake can possibly equal death on these quests.

Yet my eyes kept drifting back to that final request I saw. Unlike the other request that looked like they were written as a statement of sorts, the final one looked like it was handwritten by the person asking for help. Weird…

As I was pondering this, I heard a voice from behind me.

"Eying up the jobs that you'll be taking in the future?" I turned and saw it was Gildarts.

"Oh I'm just skimming for now." I answered. "Is there not any SS-Class quests?"

Gildarts shook his head. "Nope. There hasn't been one for a while now. In a way that's good. It means that there isn't anything that serious that needs the help of a wizard from a guild." He said as he took a look at the job board.

Gildarts then turned to me and gave a smile. "Want to see something cool?" He raised his eyebrows in eagerness.

I was curious by this. "Ok… What is it?"

Gildarts moved away from the job board and beckoned for me to follow him. I did so and saw that we were walking to the opposite side of the second floor. Gildarts let me to a corner of the second floor in which there was a wooden board that was attached to the wall.

This board had some gold and silver etching across the edge and was well carved. The wood was fancy looking. Nailed to the board was three pieces of paper that were quite fancy looking.

I widened my eyes when I realised what this job board was.

Gildarts had let me to the Decade Class and Century Class quest board.

I gave a chuckle of hesitation when I saw it. "Oh… erm, I don't think I'm ready for these sorts of quests just yet Gildarts…" I said sheepishly as I scratched my cheek.

"I wasn't trying to convince you to take one of these jobs Cade. Why don't you just take a look at them?" Gildarts suggested as he moved aside for me to take a look at them.

Well… I suppose it wouldn't hurt to take a look at them.

I moved over to the job board to see what kind of adventures and battles Decade and Century quests entailed. I'll admit that I had been a bit curious as to what they could offer a wizard.

I saw that there was two Decade quests and a single Century quest.

Decade Quest

Reward: 12,750,000 jewels.

A giant and deadly monster that has not yet been identified has been discovered causing destruction and chaos across Northeastern Fiore, as well as Seven and Bosco. It is believed to be hibernating every few months making it hard to track and locate. Confirmed death of the creature will result in the jobs completion.

Creature Description: A massive, dark blue monster with two hollow eyes, as well as a pair of horns that point upwards. It has a large torso and two large arms. Upper body is covered with a series of spikes. The hair is mane-like in shape, and it flows down to the nape of the creature's neck.

Decade Quest

Reward: 15,000,000 jewels. Favour from the Royal Family.

Requiring the assistance of a powerful wizard to embark on an important mission from the Royal Family. This job can potentially take weeks to complete. Recommend to be very prepared for the journey. Report to Crocus and head to the Royal Family's Palace for acceptance and later completion of the job.

I took my eyes away from the job board and turned to Gildarts who was also looking at the jobs. "These seem rather extreme. Especially that one about the giant monster."

Gildarts nodded, still looking at the job board. "Yeah I've heard stories about that one. It's not to be taken lightly. That job has been up there for… about 12 years I think." Gildarts pondered on that for a moment.

"If it's been up there for 12 years, then that means the monster has been causing all that chaos for 22 years, right?"

"You'd be right in saying that." Gildarts then looked at the other Decade Class job. "Now that one has been up there for about… a year. So that's 11 years that it's been going on for."

"Damn…" I muttered as I thought about the job there. "The Royal Family really couldn't find someone that could deal with the issue they have?"

Gildarts shrugged. "Guess not. But how about that favour from the Royal Family huh?" He said with interest.

"Yeah that caught my eye. By favour could you ask for… anything?" I said with disbelief at the idea.

"Probably not anything. I guess they wouldn't give you stuff like access to the throne, or maybe some secret information that only the royals know about." Gildarts suggested.

The idea of getting a favour from the Royal Family was certainly the highlight of that quest. It was the only reward other than money that I had seen on these quests upstairs. Gildarts then cut me off from my thoughts.

"How about that final quest then?" Gildarts gestured up to the quest at the top of the board.

The piece of paper had red ink that was used to write the details, showing that it was above all the other quests in terms of difficulty. I gave look of shock when I read it.

Century Quest

Requesting the strongest wizard. Travel to the Guiltina continent and seek the Magia Dragon Guild for accepting the job.

"…Wait that's it? No reward?" I said with confusion.

"I think the reward is the completion of the job itself." Gildarts spoke as he turned to look at me. "Look I know that you are years away from doing any of these jobs, but I have to know: Would you take any of these jobs?" Gildarts looked to the three jobs before he looked back to me.

"Where I stand now, I can clearly say that I don't think I will be taking any of these jobs in the future." I answered as I glanced back over the jobs. "But who knows? I have a whole life ahead of me. Maybe things will change."

Years ago when I wasn't S-Class, I would never have considered taking any of these jobs. But somehow… seeing them here with my own eyes instead of rumours from the others in the guild seemed to get me fired up in a strange sense.

The idea of slaying giant monsters, defeating Dark Guilds and helping the Royal Family was things that I could have never done if I remained as a regular member of the guild.

I had the opportunity to help people that may really need it in the world. For now though, I think I'd stick to the regular S-Class quests.

As I was thinking all these things, a familiar voice was heard from behind me.

"Taking a look at the jobs up here hm?" Me and Gildarts turned to see Master Makarov behind us. He had changed into his orange jester outfit.

"Oh hey Master, Gildarts was just showing me around up here." I explained.

Master raised an eyebrow. "At the Decade and Century job board?"

Gildarts gave a rather carefree look. "Ah, I was just showing Cade where they are for good measure."

Master let out a sigh. "As long as you are careful and know not to overestimate your abilities." He said firmly to me – and Gildarts.

"Yes of course Master." I nodded when he said that.

"Good." Master spoke. "Now Cade I would like to see you in my office. It is of some importance that you hear this." He added with some seriousness.

I was surprised to hear that. "Oh… well yes if it's important I'll be right down." I said, rather curious as to what Master wishes to say to me.

"Excellent! I shall see you down there shortly." Master Makarov nodded as he leapt over the railing to the first floor.

When he left, Gildarts spoke up. "What was that about?"

I shrugged. "No idea. Maybe it's something that all S-Class go through when they are promoted to the rank?"

Gildarts corked his head to the side a little. "Hmm… I didn't go through anything like that." He thought in recollection.

That surprised me. "Oh… Is this just a me thing then? I mean, it must involve S-Class somehow, else why would Master tell me now?"

"I don't know…" Gildarts muttered. "You should probably head down and see him about it. He did say that it was important."

"Yeah. I'll catch you later then." I smiled as I walked away from Gildarts.

The trip down to Master's office was a peaceful one with no disruptions. That was because a brawl had been started in the guild. All the attention was taken away from me and was now being directed to the huge fight that was occurring.

I smirked as I had made it to Master's office while the fight was still happening. This place never changes.

I opened the door and walked into the all too familiar office of Master Makarov. Master was sitting behind his desk and had a newspaper in his hand. I closed the door behind me and Master looked up at me as I did so.

"Good that you're here Cade. It's better that I tell you this now." Master said as he sat forward in his seat. He put the newspaper he was reading on his lap.

I took a seat opposite him. "What is this about Master? How serious is it?" I asked with apprehension.

Master gave a sigh. "Quite serious I'm afraid." He brought his hands together and sat them on the desk. "I'll get straight to the point: This is all information regarding your father's death."

I gasped with surprise when Master said that. "W-What?! You know how he… how he…" I began to trail off at the end of that sentence unable to finish it.

I could hardly believe this! I had never learned how my father had died all those years ago. It was a topic that I felt uncomfortable and sad about, so I never really inquired all that much about it. Mother never talked about it, so I never really learned the truth.

Master Makarov nodded his head with remorse. "Yes. It is something that I wished to share with you when you were older. Now that you are S-Class, I felt it was the right time to share this with you."

Master then picked up the newspaper that was on his lap. It was the one that he was reading when I entered his office. "Convenient that this is in the news. I think it's for the best that you learn about this as well. It's a new branch in the Magic Council, made specifically for taking care of Dark Guilds. I think you'll be interested in who is one of the heads of it."

Master slid the newspaper on the table and I saw the front article on it. It showed a man who was giving a speech to a large crowd of people. He was standing on a podium and was holding out his hands and had a serious look of resolve on his face.

What was more startling to me was that I fully recognised the man giving the speech.

"It can't be-! That man is-!" I began with bewilderment.

"Your uncle, Jack Philipe. He has been helping to establish and has been leading this new branch for a few years now." Master Makarov said as he leaned back on his chair a bit.

I could only say one thing after seeing and hearing that detail.

"WHAT!?"

That's the end of that chapter! Feel free to leave a review if you wish!

We are closing in on 200 followers! If you've been reading this story just as it comes up on Sunday, feel free to leave a review to help it pass this mark!

Well, we finally got an update on how Cade's uncle has been doing since we last saw him. Seems that he has been a busy man since the loss of his brother. Just how has he become the head of this new branch? And a branch in the Magic Council no less.

Also we got to see some S-Class quests. I had some fun creating some of the scenarios that would be normally seen on an S-Class quest. Things like monsters and Dark Guilds, as well as the odd request here and there.

With the Decade and Century Class quest board, it was a bit harder to make situations that may be so powerful that they would require the strongest and most powerful wizards to resolve them. Of course, we all knew what the Century quest would be.

Anyway, make sure to tune in next week for some well-deserved answers that you have probably been wondering. I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and I will see you in the next one!

Azathot - Alas. Maybe my next story will have a female lead…
