I heard back from the school in Mexico, 'Nezcalilizcali Naualotl Tlateotokani Toltekayomeh', they have accepted that Petunia is my guardian with the power to enrol me in their school and my excuses for being slightly older than the normal first years, but they also sent me a couple of comprehension test for Spanish and Nahuatl. They said they'd be happy to accept me as a student if I could pass either of the tests without assistance, apparently they have anti-cheating charms on them, I don't know why they don't use those on tests and assignments at school or at least our end of year exams. I studied Spanish for every spare moment in the time I had before I had to hand them in and tried my best with the Spanish one but I don't know if I did well enough. I should hear back in about a week, which would be far more comforting if every day wasn't five days long at the moment. Still even if I fail it could be an option next year if I learn Spanish so I'm going to keep working at it.
I also asked the head teacher this morning if I could transfer into year round classes here next year in case I don't get into the school in Mexico. I thought I might have had a pretty good chance since I was already a student here, but apparently summer school doesn't follow the same rules as proper year round school. He said he had received my application letter and he was willing to use my summer grades in lieu of a transcript but he'd still need my magical guardian to sign off on the transfer. I explained that my physical guardian had already signed paperwork to let me attend any school I chose and that I hadn't known I had a magical guardian until the goblins told me about them and that he'd never once done anything for me, I'd only met him because he's a professor at Hogwarts and never spoken to him about anything other than things that happened at school. He said that he's sorry and he's happy to have me back for summer classes next year but that he didn't have the power to take me out of Hogwarts without Dumbledore's approval, even if he was only kind of my guardian still. He also explained that even with my guardian's permission he'd be hesitant to accept a student with my level of magic because he'd be worried that I wouldn't be challenged enough by the wanded classes and not attending Hogwarts would limit my potential as a wizard. I didn't tell him that Hogwarts wasn't challenging me magically tor that I believed that I learned more spells here in the library over the summer than I did in class last year. I told him that I'd be happy to do a mix of class and self study but that I'd nearly been killed three times at Hogwarts and didn't feel safe there and asked him to let me prove that I could learn just fine with self study. I could tell he thought I was exaggerating but at least he listened and didn't call me a liar. Instead, he apologised for not being able to take me as a student without either my Hogwarts transcripts or my magical guardian's permission. I honestly think that he'd be too afraid of pissing off Dumbledore to take me even if I did manage to get a new magical guardian who'd give me permission to transfer and of course Ireland is still part of magical Britain and Dumbledore has a lot of power over the British magical government as the Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot so I don't think that this is far enough away from him.
I've also decided that if I have to attend Hogwarts this year then I want to come here again next summer and I want to take Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, Potions Skills and Magical History as well as all the nonmagical subjects, and DADA if the professor this year is as bad as Quirrell was. Though I guess Voldemort didn't want us to learn to defend ourselves so it might have been deliberate. Ancient Runes and Arithmancy are said to be the two most difficult subjects taught at Hogwarts so taking them twice is sure to help and they both sound fascinating and are difficult to learn properly just from a book. I know, I've tried. I hope that I can come back, unless I'm at an international school and can stay there for the summer, and I've already completed my reenrolment. I can stay at the school for all our days off and overnight when the time compression is turned off if I have to, or some of the full time boarders actually go out on Sundays and go into Dublin or to the beach and stuff and I'm sure I could go with them, so I won't be dependent on Seamus inviting me to stay with him again, I will just have to get myself here which shouldn't be too hard now I've been once, I'll catch the ferry the same as this year and we've caught the bus into Dublin to shop, so I know where in Ireland we are now. I just need to be able to get away from whoever is watching me which might not be so easy, they're probably going to keep a closer watch over me since I disappeared on them this summer but I can use my invisibility cloak to get out of the neighbourhood.
Dean re-enrolled for next year too. They have magical drawing and magical painting classes that he wants to do. He couldn't do them this year because you have to audition in advance. Apparently, there's a magical music course as well but none of us is interested in it. He sits his audition in a couple of days but he says that his mum and dad want him to come back to do the nonmagical subjects whether he gets into these classes or not. I hope he does it will be hard for him to be here if he cannot do the only class he has his heart set on. Seamus hasn't re-enrolled but I expect his mum will probably re-enrol him whether he wants her to or not.

Good luck with the language tests, I'm afraid that my language tapes came too late to be of any help. I'm sorry now that I sent them for your birthday rather than purchasing them for you the minute you talked about wanting them.
I'm sorry too that you can't stay where you are for the school year, you obviously feel safe there. Well safe from the professors and staff at the school even if you do think you might be a little too easily found. But I wonder if you would feel safe enough there during the normal school year when they're not using the time compression wards. At the moment, even if they think they know where you are during the summer, nobody can enter the school during the time compression any more than anyone could leave so once the first hour or so of the 'Monday' passes you know your safe there for the rest of the (five day) day. It must be such a relief. I hate that you have to live with that uncertainty.
It's a bit odd that the headmaster thinks that your magic is too strong for the classes a Scoil Draiocht to challenge you but he doesn't realise that Hogwarts isn't challenging your magic either. Or it occasionally does but only because you're using a fake wand and have to teach yourself to do the charm or spell windlessly in the same time as your classmates learn to do it the easy way. Do they really think that Hogwarts is so much better, what's the curriculum like, would you be learning the same spells?
I'm glad you can go back there next summer if you want, you'll be catching up to me in age a bit with all that time compression and it will be good for you to have Scoil Draiocht to look forward to if you have to go back to Hogwarts, even though I really hope you don't have to.
