D'jono stepped off his ship and looked around on the space station. He knew why he was here. He was getting supplies and meeting his aunt and uncle for visit. He hasn't seen them in while. His first officer grunted to him. D'jono knew that his crew would be around the space station until it was time to leave.
He made his way off the walkway and into the main part of the station. D'jono made his way to the dealer that he was dealing with before finding his aunt and uncle. He got the supplies he needed before walking away.
D'jono didn't join the miliary after collage by got into business. He didn't take long for him to have his own ship and crew. He was thinking about getting another ship to help his business grow and knew that his Uncle Xavier and Aunt Peata could help him there if he wanted. D'jono loved his family. There was always someone to help if he needed it.
"D'jono," D'jono turned around to see his youngest cousin. Saxon. It seemed that Saxon had grown in the last year since he saw him.
D'jono ruffled his hair. "Hey, Saxon," Saxon pushed his hand away from him. "Where are your parents?" D'jono smiled.
Saxon rolled his eyes. D'jono had to wonder if he was ever that way. "Talking with Kira."
D'jono closed his eyes because it couldn't be Saxon's cousin, Kira. The last thing that D'jono heard was she was Starfleet and making a name for herself. Her family thought that she would be captain before they knew it. The last time he saw her was in San Francisco when she was staying with his grandparents for the summer. He was doing the same thing at his grandparents' house. She made him take her on a date and the night ended with a kiss that made compare every woman to her. D'jono wondered if she was seeing anyone.
D'jono started to follow his cousin. "Do you mean your cousin?"
Saxon threw him a look like he should have known that it was his cousin, Kira. Who else would his parents talk too? Saxon led them to the food court where D'jono saw his aunt and uncle in their Starfleet uniforms.
"Mom, Dad," Saxon made his way to his parents. D'jono slowly made his way over to them because he saw Kira. Saxon was talking to his parents as D'jono eyes connected with Kira. She was in Starfleet red. D'jono saw what a beautiful woman she turned into. She was looking at him and seeing what kind of man he turned into.
"D'jono," D'jono looked away Kira to his aunt, Selena. He gave her a smile.
"Aunt Selena," He leaned down and kissed her on the cheek. "Uncle Stephen," He shook his uncle's hand.
"D'jono, please take a seat," Aunt Selena pointed to the empty chair that Saxon had gotten for him. D'jono took the seat. "You remember our niece, Kira," D'jono looked at Kira and smiled.
"Kira," D'jono said her name. He saw a fire grow in her eyes. She was ready for him.
"D'jono," She said his name with a softness. He felt it travel through his body to his manhood.
Selena glanced between her niece and nephew. She remembered when her mom told her that something happen between Kira and D'jono one summer when they were staying with her parents for the summer. "When was the last time you saw each other?"
"I think it was twelve years ago," Kira said. She looked at D'jono and wondered if he remembered what had happened between them all those years ago. She also had to wonder if he thought about her since then.
D'jono nodded agreeing with her. "I hear that you are climbing the ladder in Starfleet."
Kira smiled. "I am a lt. What are you doing now?"
"I'm captain of freight ship. I run my own company." D'jono felt that they were the only ones sitting at table.
Kira raised an eyebrow. "I remember a boy not knowing what he wanted to do with his life."
D'jono gave Kira a half smile. "I went to school and found out how much I loved business and space. I got my own ship and started my business."
"D'jono, what kind of cargo are you picking up this time?" Saxon asked.
D'jono remembered that his aunt, uncle, and cousin was there. He told his cousin what he was picking up. The conversation changed and D'jono asked after them. They talked about the family and what was happening with them.
After dinner, D'jono headed back to his ship to look over things and try to get some sleep. After he looked things over, D'jono disrobed and climbed in bed. He was going to get some sleep without thinking about her and how she would feel against him. He closed his eyes when he heard his chime go off.
D'jono moaned and got out of bed to see what crewmember was at his door at this hour. He went to his door to open it to find a young crewman and Kira standing there. He ignored the crewman when he said. "What are you doing here?"
Kira smiled at him before turning to the crewman. "You can go."
The crewman looked at D'jono and D'jono nodded. The crewman left them. D'jono looked back at Kira. "You didn't answer my question."
Kira pushed D'jono in his room. The door closed behind them. "Is there a way to lock your door?"
D'jono narrowed his eyes at her before reaching around her and locking the door. "You still didn't tell me why you are here," He crossed his arms over his bare chest.
"This," Kira leaned forward and placed her hands on his arms. She pressed her lips on his.
D'jono pulled his arms apart and grabbed her to pull her away from him. "We can't do this."
"Why not?" Kira asked. She leaned closer towards is ear. "If you can tell me that you haven't thought about me over the last twelve years I will walk out that door and only think about you as my cousin's cousin." D'jono growled. Kira placed her hands against his chest. "I'll take that as a yes," She captured his lips again.
D'jono broke the kiss. "You know what this means."
"Everything and nothing at all," Kira kissed him again. "Stop talking and take me like you want too," D'jono pulled her close and Kira sighed. She was going to finally sleep with the man she thought about for the last twelve years.
"You that this means we are getting married," D'jono ran a hand over Kira's bare back.
Kira turned towards him. "I don't think so," She smiled at him. "I don't mind that I'm your mate," She leaned over him. "You are everything I imaged and more, D'jono."
"Kira, you knew what this meant when you climbed in my bed." D'jono tried not to touch her because he was getting hard again just thinking about what they did last night. "You know that I will not have another."
"I'm not asking you, too. I just want to continue my career, and I can't do that if I'm married to you."
"Kira," D'jono warned her. "You could meet the man of your dreams and could be with him without me in the way. I can't do the same."
"D'jono, I have dated since that summer," She didn't have to say what summer because they both knew. "And I have compared every man to you," She leaned over and kissed him. "You had my heart back than and you have it now. I will always want you."
D'jono pulled her over him. "So, you want me but not to marry me."
"Yes," She felt that he was ready to take her again.
D'jono leaned up and pressed his lips against her ear. "This is it for us."
Kira just pulled his head back and kissed him. "Take me."
Selena watched as her niece and nephew came towards her. There was a smile on Kira's face that could only mean one thing. Kira had finally got her match and Selena knew that there might be a wedding soon.
Kira kissed her aunt's cheek. "Good morning, Aunt Selena."
Selena glanced at her nephew as he greeted her son and husband. She saw the way that Kira was looking at D'jono. Selena pulled Kira aside. "You know what you are getting into?"
"Yes, Aunt Selena," Kira smiled. "And he knows, too."
"So, I'm guessing there is going to be wedding," Selena wondered.
"No," Kira looked at away from Selena to D'jono. "We have still had different dreams but we will be together when we can."
Selena looked between them and knew that it was their lives and they can do what they want. Selena couldn't wait until she told sister and sister-in-law about this. They wouldn't believe it until the babies start coming.
