Tom heard the front door open and hid the PADD that he had out. He looked up to see his son coming in. Xavier had a smile on his face as he took a seat across from him at the kitchen counter. "What are you doing, Dad?" Xavier reached over and grabbed the PADD from his dad. "A trip to the Mediterranean Sea," Xavier raised an eyebrow. "What are planning and are you leaving Selena and I alone?"

Tom took the PADD from his son. "Your mother and my twentieth anniversary is coming up and I want to plan something special for your mother."

"Wow, Mom put up with for twenty years," Xavier smiled.

Tom narrowed his eyes at him. "Longer," Tom admitted.

"That is right. You dated for years before you got up the nerves to ask her to marry you," The smile on Xavier's face made Tom want to hit his son. Tom had to wonder why he had a son just like him. He had a feeling that his parents would be laughing at him right now.

"Boy," Tom hissed. He glanced at the door before saying. "I might just kill you and make it look like an accident."

"Please don't kill my son," Tom looked up and saw B'Elanna standing there, holding her bag from work.

Tom smiled at his wife. "I would never kill your son, my son maybe."

B'Elanna shook her head as she set her bag down. "The problem is he is both our son," B'Elanna headed for the stairs.

Both Paris men watched as she made her way upstairs. Xavier turned back to his father. "She is right about being both of yours," Tom growled at his son. Xavier jumped off the stool. "Also, I think that she would love that idea of going away for a while," Xavier picked up his bat'leth and headed for the backdoor.

Tom smiled as he pulled out the PADD.

"B'Elanna, do you want to do something for our twentieth anniversary?" Tom asked when he entered their room.

B'Elanna was lying on the bed with her eyes closed. She opened her eyes and looked at her husband. "Why do I feel that you have something planned?" She asked. "Also have we really made married that long some days it feels longer?"

Tom ignored her first question. "Yes, but we have been together forever,"

B'Elanna moaned. "So, what do you have planned?" B'Elanna knew that he didn't answer her first question.

Tom pulled out a PADD as he made his way to bed. He sat on the edge of the bed. "How does a trip to Spain on the Mediterranean Sea?" He handed her the PADD with everything on it.

B'Elanna looked over at it before speaking. "Sounds fun," She looked over the PADD. "What about our children?"

"Do you think our son handle of being in charge or my mother can stay with them?"

B'Elanna sighed. It was hard for B'Elanna to think that her sixteen-year-old son was old enough to stay by himself. "The last time that we left the kids alone they had a party," B'Elanna remembered the last time when Miral was seventeen years old, and they left her in charge. "Xavier is different."

"I know but he has grown in the last couple of years," Tom said.

"I think we should give him a chance and if it comes to it your mom can step in," B'Elanna had to have faith in her son.

Tom sighed. He knew that his wife was right because Tom wanted Xavier to have the same opportunity as Miral. "Selena is older too."

B'Elanna nodded. "It's not like we will be gone a week," B'Elanna picked up the PADD and checked the days again. They would be gone for four days and three nights. Tom nodded. He really wanted to spend time with his wife. "Alright." B'Elanna sighed. "You can talk to him about it." Tom nodded.

Tom reached over and took the PADD out of B'Elanna's hand. "I think we need to start celebrating early," Tom kissed his wife.

"You know what to do if something goes wrong," B'Elanna said to Xavier.

"Yes, mom," Xavier sighed. We will be fine."

"Okay," B'Elanna hugged her son one more time.

B'Elanna looked over to her kids one more time before getting on the transporter with Tom.

"You know that they'll be fine," Tom took her hand.

"I know but they…" B'Elanna didn't finish that sentence.

Tom smiled. "Let's not think about the children for the weekend," B'Elanna gave him a look. He knew that B'Elanna was not going to stop thinking about the children even those they were teenagers. "You know that they aren't babies anymore."

B'Elanna gave him another look. "I know, but I'm their mother and I only think of them still needing me."

Tom smiled. "They still need you because even those Miral is at the academy, she still calls you about something." B'Elanna hit her husband on the arm. Tom leaned over and kissed her. "Let's take this time and remember that we were a couple before the children came."

B'Elanna gave him a look because she could never forget that they were a couple before they were parents. She leaned her head against Tom's shoulder and Tom wrapped his arms around her as the transporter flew.

The transporter landed on a beach. Tom helped B'Elanna off the transporter before grabbing their bags. The transporter flew off. Tom and B'Elanna stood in front of a little house. B'Elanna could hear the sea at her back. Tom took her hand and led her to the house. Tom pushed a code in, and the doors opened. The house was open with the kitchen on the left and a living room on the right. B'Elanna turned around and saw a couple of big windows looking out to the sea. She opened the windows to let the sea air in.

Tom took their bags to the back of the house where the bedroom and bathroom were. B'Elanna looked around the house and thought that Tom did a good job on this anniversary. She made her to the back to see the bedroom where king sided bed and couple of end tables were. Tom had placed their bags in a corner. Across from the bedroom was the bathroom. B'Elanna looked in and saw a tub that was big enough to hold two people. B'Elanna could already see herself in the tub. She made her way to the front of the house to find Tom there, holding a glass of champagne. He handed it to her.

"For putting up with me for twenty years," Tom smiled, and it was the same smile Tom used more than twenty years ago when he showed up at her door after they confess their love for each other.

B'Elanna took a sip. "I have a feeling that it was more than twenty years," Tom knew the look in B'Elanna's eyes.

Tom took her glass from her. "You may be right," Tom set the glasses on the counter. He wrapped his arms around her. "I remember you not giving me the time of day."

B'Elanna wrapped her arms around his neck. "You were a pig."

Tom leaned down. "I'm your pig now," Tom pressed his lips to hers.

B'Elanna woke to the smells of something cooking. She rolled in the bed and took in the quiet. There were no kids yelling even those they were teenagers, they still liked to yell. She got out of bed and made her way to the bathroom. She took a shower before making her way to the kitchen. Tom was putting the finishing touches on banana pancakes. "It's about time you woke up," Tom placed a plate in front of her.

B'Elanna looked up at him. "I was enjoying the quiet," B'Elanna took her plate to the table.

Tom followed her. "I don't blame you," He set his plate next to hers before taking a seat. "They seem to make more noise now that they are teenagers."

B'Elanna took a bit of her pancakes. "I thought that we were not going to talk about them."

"You are right," Tom leaned over and kissed her. "I think that after breakfast we take a dip in the sea."

B'Elanna got a sparkle in her eye. "How private is this beach?"

"Private," Tom smiled. "What are you thinking, Mrs. Paris?"

"You'll just have to wait and see, Mr. Torres," B'Elanna picked up her plate to put it away. Tom watched as his wife went to the back of the house. He could only think what was on her mind.

B'Elanna came back with only a towel wrapped around her. "Are you going to change?" She asked. Tom narrowed his eyes. His wife had a look in her eyes that he hasn't seen in while. All she had was a robe. He got up and went to change into his swim trunks. He went out to find B'Elanna had waited for him.

They walked on the beach and B'Elanna took off her robe. Tom let out a moan when he found her naked. He went and whispered in her ear. "Are you sure that you had three kids?"

B'Elanna laughed and pushed him away. She ran into the warm water. Tom followed her. Tom dove in the water, wetting his hair and getting B'Elanna wet. She yelled at him for a moment before splashing water at him. They swam in the water for about an hour before Tom pulled B'Elanna close and kissed her.

"Do you want to get out?" Tom asked. B'Elanna nodded against his chest.

Tom carried her out of the water and laid her on the beach. He leaned over and kissed her. B'Elanna wrapped her arms around him. "Happy anniversary." Tom whispered against her lips. B'Elanna didn't say anything as she untied Tom's trucks and pushed them off his body. Tom didn't say anything but knew what his wife wanted.

B'Elanna stood on the pouch watching the day turn into night. Tom was in the kitchen working on their final dinner here. Today was their final night and they were leaving tomorrow morning to go home. Back to the kids and their lives. She was glad that she got to spend this time with Tom alone. She remembered why she fell in love with him and how they made it twenty years.

"Dinner's ready," Tom said from the doorway.

B'Elanna came in the house to find a candle lit dinner on a table set for two. Tom pulled out her chair and she took her seat. He took his seat before pouring them glasses of wine. B'Elanna took a drink of the wine and found that it was perfect. It was something that they found in the local village. She looked down at the plate in front of her and knew that it was perfect. B'Elanna looked up at the man sitting across from her. Tom looked back with a shy half grin. He looked younger than he was. He picked up his wine glass.

"A toast," Tom raised his glass. B'Elanna picked up her glass. "We have put up with each other longer than twenty years," B'Elanna raised an eyebrow. "Yes, we both had our good days and bad days," Tom laughed. B'Elanna rolled her eyes but she knew that he was right. "The day that you told me was one of the best days of my life. Another one was you agreeing to marry me. We have been married for twenty years and have three for the most part three wonderful kids."

"I thought that we weren't talking about our children," B'Elanna smiled.

Tom shrugged his shoulders. "True, but they need a moment in this toast," B'Elanna laughed. "I know that we had our ups and downs in this marriage but thank you for staying by my side. B'Elanna Torres-Paris, I love you and thank you for making my life perfect but imperfect." They took a sip of their wine. They set their glasses down and picked up their forks.

"What do you think the next twenty years are going to hold?" B'Elanna asked.

"Well, our kids will be gone and maybe families of their own," Tom smiled.

B'Elanna laughed. "Can you see us as grandparents?"

"We will be great grandparents," Tom smiled.

B'Elanna shook her head. "You know Miral might live on a different planet," Tom moaned they both knew about their daughter's feelings for certain Klingon. "Xavier and Selena, I don't what life is going to hold for him."

"Whatever it holds for them, we will support them in whatever happens to them," Tom said in quiet voice. B'Elanna nodded. "We have the rest of our lives to see what is going to happen to them and us." B'Elanna nodded again. "We love each other and that's all we need right now." B'Elanna couldn't agree more with him.

"I love you," She said.

"I love you, too," Tom placed his fork down. "Computer play…" Tom told the computer what to play. Tom stood and held out his hand. B'Elanna took his hand and let Tom lead her into a dance to their favorite song.

The transporter landed in front of the house and B'Elanna sighed. It was the end of their twentieth anniversary. Tom stepped up by her as she was standing on the pouch watching the transporter come down. She looked and saw that Tom had the bags.

"Are you ready to get back to life?" Tom asked.

"No," B'Elanna headed down the stairs to the transporter. "I would like to stay here a little bit longer."

Tom kissed the side of B'Elanna's head. "We always have next year," Tom said as he helped her in the shuttle.

"True," B'Elanna smiled. Tom took her hand as the transporter started to fly away.

The transporter took them home and it landed in front of their house. The front door opened and the kids came out to greet them. Tom and B'Elanna got off the transporter and looked at their children to see if they did anything that they shouldn't. B'Elanna waited until the transporter was gone before saying.

"What did you do?" B'Elanna started for the house.

"Nothing," Selena smiled. B'Elanna didn't know if she believes her youngest child.

B'Elanna tried to walk around her but Selena stopped her. B'Elanna raised an eyebrow at her youngest. She glanced back at Tom to see how he was taking this. She saw that he was frowning at Xavier. Xavier wasn't telling them what was going on either.

"If you broke something, depending on what it is I might not kill you," B'Elanna glared down at her daughter.

"Nothing is broken," Selena raised her hands.

"Are you sure?" B'Elanna glanced between the children.

"Yes," They both said.

"Then what is going on?" Tom asked.

Xavier and Selena traded a look. "I think we better show them," Xavier said. Selena nodded. Xavier glanced at his parents. "Please put your bags in Mom's office.?" Xavier said in voice that had both Tom and B'Elanna wondering what was going on.

Tom and B'Elanna put their bags in B'Elanna's office. "Now what is going on?" B'Elanna put her hands on her hips.

Xavier gave B'Elanna a smile that she inherited from his father. "Please follow us," Xavier and Selena started towards the backdoor.

Once they reached the back door, B'Elanna saw that Xavier was counting to three with his fingers and it was towards his sister. B'Elanna had to wonder what her children were up to. Xavier opened the back door and B'Elanna heard.

"Happy Anniversary,"

B'Elanna looked around and saw their family and friends standing around their backyard with glass of champagne in their hands. B'Elanna looked back at her children and wondered if they did this. "You did this."

Xavier stepped up. "Yes." He smiled. "You put up with Dad for a long time."

"Hey," Tom sounded fake hurt.

Xavier turned to his father. "And you put up with Mom for just as long."

It was B'Elanna's turn to give her son look.

"I think what my brother is trying to say is you were made for each other," Selena smiled. "You have family and friends that want to celebrate with you," Selena waved towards to crowd.

Tom took B'Elanna's hand and led her into the crowd. Xavier and Selena watched as their parents talked with friends and family. Selena turned to her big brother. "Best idea you had in while," Selena smiled before heading into the crowd.

"Thank you. I do come up with them occasionally," Xavier followed his sister in the crowd.
