Vaggie walked in. . Alone?
Lucifer said, "Huh. . Not often you come here alone. Usually Charlie is with you." He was holding a book.
Vaggie said, "Uh yeah. . She's been tending to the hotel. . Asked me to drop this off for you." A small pendant with the family's signature symbol. An apple and a snake.
Lucifer smiled, "It's. . Something she made. . Back when she was in high school." He sighed, "Thank you Vaggie."
She said, "No problem, sir."
Lucifer chuckled, "Oh come on. You're the woman my daughter loves. No need for that sort of shit. Just call me Luci." He turned a page in the book.
She asked, "Okay but. . What's with that book?"
Lucifer said, "Well. . Much as I'd love to show you baby pictures. . This. . Is sadly a whole other book."
He showed the book.
"Charlie goes through each sin?" Vaggie asked as she read the title aloud.
Lucifer said, "Yeah. As Charlie grows older. . She becomes more powerful. Particularly once she experiences each of the seven deadly sins. . She's already gone through six of them."
Vaggie chuckled, "I. . I love my girlfriend something fierce but. . . I can't possibly imagine her going through the sin of wrath."
Lucifer looked. . Saddened. . And. . Serious.
She said, "Really?"
"Yes." Lucifer opened the book, "You want to look with me?"
Vaggie looked at the clock, "Well. . I don't have to be back at the hotel till 2. . Sure."
Lucifer opened the first page, "She started with gluttony. . Age six."
