The Paw Patrol were in the library. Mayor Goodway asked them to help clean the place because Humdinger's last scheme left the library in chaos. Rocky and Rubble fixed the shelves that were broken while the rest of the crew arranged the books on the ground. "This was the last one!" Rocky yelled to the team." Good. We just finished arranging the books." Zuma said. "We should do something about Mayor Humdinger." Chase said annoyed. "It's okay Chase. It won't happen again." Skye said nuzzling him. "You are right. I love you Skye." Chase said nuzzling her back. After an hour the books were back to their place and the mayor came to see the progress. "Oh how fabulous! Thank you Paw Patrol." She said. "Your welcome Mayor Goodway but if you excuse us we have work to do at the lookout." Ryder said. "Of course. Thank you again." The mayor said. The pups aligned themselves to leave but as Skye looked back she noticed that a book was on the ground still. "Oh we missed a book." She said attracting the pups attention. She walked up to the book to grab it when she noticed the artwork of the cover. The cover showed a old woman holding a rotting apple. The background was a deep purple and the whole image had a strange vibe to it. "What's this book about?" She asked. The mayor walked next to her and took a look at the book. She opened it reading the first few lines then closed the book. "It's a spell book." She said looking confused. "What was this doing here?" The mayor asked. "Wow! Mayor Goodway can I have the book? I love magic." Skye said. "Look at that, Skye thinks magic is real." Rubble giggled. Chase looked at him threateningly in response making him apologize instantly. "Sorry!" Rubble said. Skye not even noticing the comment nor his apology just waited for an answer. The mayor looked at her and thought for a moment then smiled and gave her the book. "Just use it responsibly." She giggled. Skye nodded with the book in her mouth and walked back to the others. "I see you will be busy today." Marshall said. Skye nodded in agreement happy that she had her own spell book. "Well I guess we are done here." Rocky said. "Right. Let's go pups." Ryder said. "Do you wanna come with me? You will have a hard time flying with your wings and a book in your mouth." Chase said. "Sure." She let out. The pups entered their vehicles and drove off.
Skye put down the book next to her and Chase started talking. "I never knew what you liked magic." He said. "It's a recent passion. I had Ryder book a lot of tickets for magician shows recently." She replied. "That's nice. If you want I'll be you test subject." Chase said smiling. "You are so sweet Chase. I love you." Skye said hugging him from behind. Chase nuzzled her in response and after a few seconds she let him go. "I will never let you leave me." She said. "I will never leave you Skye. I promise." Chase replied.
The team arrived home and took their gears off. Skye grabbed her book and laid down in the shade and started reading. Marshall and Chase came to keep her company. "Interesting." She said. "What?" Marshall asked. "This book doesn't have spells in the literal sense. There are rituals and potions, but no spells." This was unexpected." She said slightly disappointed. "It's okay Skye. I think those are interesting things as well." Chase said putting a paw on her back. "You maybe have a point." She said. She turned to the first page and started reading out loud the title: "Wood to Fish." She read. "That sounds interesting." Marshall said. "This potion turns any tree into fish. Note that different types of trees will turn into different types of fish. Ingredients: A fish's head, a stick, one bowl of salted water and tears of fear." Skye continued. "Yeah I say we skip that one." Chase said a bit stunned by the ingredients. "I believe all the potions have similar strange ingredients. But you are right. I will read the rest a bit later. Now I'm gonna go grab something to eat. Wanna join?" She said putting the book away. "Sure!" The two males responded.
