Completed. Epilogue to follow NWZ - The Count of Monte Cristo mashup. It follows the storyline of Monte Cristo, but using the NWZ characters and some of the action in the series. Dumas' masterpiece is, of course, also adapted to fit with a different historical context - Spain during Napoleon's occupation, California in the early 1800s. But I did my best to stay true to both canons.

Through a will, Don Diego learns the name of his biological father - Don Alejandro de la Vega. After some preparations, the wealthy Don Diego sets off for Los Angeles to meet Alejandro - neither the tyrannical alcalde de Soto nor the mysterious bandit Zorro will stop him. But as soon as he arrives, things turn out differently than planned.

NWZ. Diego's cousin arrives at Los Angeles unexpectedly, running away from trouble in Madrid. He falls in love with the beautiful tavern owner Victoria Escalante, but... would she love him back?

Zorro (2024) - esta historia contiene una escena que falta en la serie, y que explica por qué Diego sobrevive una y otra vez a todas las cuchilladas que se lleva, recuperándose en cero coma. (Además, también explica cómo Mei le subió a un caballo sin la ayuda de ninguna grúa la primera vez que le hirieron, porque eso tampoco se lo puede tragar nadie que haya montado alguna vez)

Diego suffers from a concussion resulting in a total memory loss. Walking and talking as his true self Zorro, he doesn't understand the shocked reaction of his family and Victoria and the consequences it has on his life. Chapters 1 2 are identical to the short version, but the rest and ending will be different

A Christmas story. In the last episode, when Diego and Risendo were fighting, de Soto shot Risendo. This time he misses his intended target. And instead of shooting Risendo, he hits Diego, fatally wounding him. This wouldn't be a Christmas story if such an action went without consequences.

Diego studies successfully in Madrid and gets the information from a former servant of his father, that injustice and oppression reign in Los Angeles. Unrecognized, he travels back to Los Angeles under an assumed name. Once there, he must devise a plan to defeat the tyrannical alcalde without endangering his father or his secret childhood love, Victoria.

Earlier, as in the series, Diego has returned from Spain. His father is thrilled his son has returned. As time goes by he begins to wonder why his son has changed so much.

On a dark, desert highway, Diego has a date with destiny. Trippy and Shippy, Alternative Universe, and adult content in later chapters.

Diego is tasked to help Victoria with a strange illness that's taken over her life. But what does this mean for Zorro?

[WDZ] Zorro missed the amnesty, remaining anonymous for the good of Californian people, and giving up his truly love at the same time. When he is compelled to come back in Monterey again, the masked avenger will have to fight injustice as always, as well as confronting his own feelings... and staying alive.

A new confrontation in the square leads Zorro to a situation in which he must make an important decision, which may expose his secret. Each chapter is narrated from the point of view of one of the characters.

Diego has been having doubts about continuing with his quest for justice. He is questioning whether he should forget about Zorro or continue to protect the Pueblo of Los Angeles. He suddenly finds himself repeating the same day over and over until he learns what he values most in life. He rediscovers himself through the consequences for his choices. adventure, romance, & beyond

Zorro (2024) - This story contains a scene missing from the series, which explains why Diego survives all the stab wounds he gets, and in no time at all. (It also explains how Mei got him on a horse without the help of a crane the first time he got injured, because, to anyone who has ever got up a saddle, it's also hard to believe she could lift him on her own, and on the rump)

An impulsive decision by Don Alejandro leads our protagonist to face the challenge of taming a horse with a serious behavioral problem. Will he be able to gain his trust?

At the end of the episode, my word is my bond S4E, Victoria made such a derogatory remark. If Diego had heard this, it must have deeply hurt him. And make him think his hope Victoria could love him was hopeless. What if Victoria made one hurtful comment too many?

The Los Angeles inn catches fires. When it appears some people might be stuck inside, there is no time for masquerades: it's up to Diego to save the day. Will this finally be Diego's day of glory, or will it be his downfall?

We saw how Diego managed to swallow back in the words he wanted to say when Victoria asked what he wanted most. What if Victoria sensed that she wanted the same thing Diego was meaning to say.
