The cargo plane roared through the sky with the sunrise approaching,but it also had some passengers,four actually which was: , a chinese panda boy,and three americans, A Young duck girl, A college professor part time adventurer, and a famous parrot woman singer who basically was kidnapped.

Webby sat on the box where she had hidden the parachutes and now she felt a little bit calm. They were gone from Lao Che at least but she felt that something else could happen and she wanted to be prepared for it.

Indy suddenly crouched down in front of her and asked a bit firm,but concerned:

" Is everything okay?"

" Yeah" she said, a bit shaken but somewhat calm.

" Good he said as he patted her on the shoulder and then went through a door to change.

Short Round took this lonely moment to crawl forward to Webby,excited to know why she came with them and greeted her:

" Hey my name is Short Round,but you can call me Shorty"

He Held out his hand,she shaked it and said her name:

" Webbigail,but please call me Webby"

" Webby,I like that"

She smiled a little:

" Thanks"

Then the question came:

" Question,why are you here, I thought I was Indy's only young sidekick?"

She hugged her doll not really sure how she would answer but decided that since this boy was friends with her savior, he deserved the truth.

" A few weeks ago in Duckburg,he saved me from some thieves with his whip and when he followed me home,he seemed to see me more than a little girl who just played with dolls."

Short Round had a interesting look on his face and asked her to continue.

" I came here with my figurative uncle,and his great nephews, to get some ashes from an emperor,but in the club the man who had it grabbed me as hostage to get him to listen."

She left out that Indy took Willie as hostage too,but she decided that he has to say himself and continued:

" But Indy immediately saved me not wanting to risk anything but when he got into trouble,I just had to save him,so I freed myself from my uncle's grip and rushed to save him,and that's how I got here".

Short Round looked at her without saying anything,but he looked very impressed by her.

Willie just sat by herself near the door where Indy had got in,and she felt a bit impressed too by the kid's actions but now she thought mostly about herself,or what would happen with her.

And then Indy came out dressed in a leather jacket,khaki colored pants and a fedora hat,his classic look.

Willie saw his new look and commented:

" What are you supposed to be,a lion tamer?"

This annoyed him greatly and he answered:

"I'm letting you tag along,so why don't you give your mouth a rest,okay doll?"

" What do you mean " tag along?" She asked,clearly offended and continued:

" Ever since you came into my club,you haven't be able to take your eyes off me!".

" Oh Yeah?" He said as he sat down and put his hat over his eyes,falling asleep very quickly.

Webby giggled a little at his stubbornness,but she began to feel tired herself and slowly her eyes sunk down,until she fell asleep on the box,and under her sleep Shorty put a blanket around her to make sure so she wouldn't freeze,and also as thanks for helping his friend.

The plane continued its route but a bit behind it another plane followed and on board were three boys,a butler and a worried billionaire and he hoped that his figurative niece was okay.

" Don't worry,lass we will help you" he thought.

But he had no idea what would happen the Next morning.

Webby slept deeply under the whole trip Short Round slept with Indy's arm around him but sadly that led to that neither she or anyone saw the two pilots walk through the cabin,open the door and jumped out,but the strong wind from the open door woke up Willie who got up walked to the cockpit and saw no one inside.

This sight got her into panic mode and she quickly crawled over to Indy trying to wake him:

" Hey mister,mister wake up!" She even grabbed his hat and shaked it in front of his face.

All this made Shorty and Webby clear awake,and when Shorty heard what she called Indy he quickly went forward and said:

" You call him Dr,Jones, Doll!" (The last one he took from Indy).

She gave in:

" Okay Dr,Jones Dr Jones wake up please!"

This helped as he slowly moved and opened his eyes.

" Oh we are there,good!" He said, still a bit in his sleep.

" No we are not,look!"

She pulled him to the cockpit and showed the empty seats.

" They are gone,no pilots!"

Indy quickly climbed in one of the seats as Webby rushed forward.

" What's happening?" She asked and then she saw the empty seats.

" Wait,they are gone?"

" Seems that way,kid"

" Well you know how to fly,don't you?" Willie asked Indy.

" No,can you?" Was the answer.

The singer really to feel panicked" Oh god"

" But come on,how hard can it be?" Indy asked as he checked the gauges on the plane:

" Okay,allmeter,check,airspeed okay"

Webby checked the fuel gauge and saw something bad:

" Look, we have no fuel left!"

And just as she said that,the engines began to shut off, and the plane slowly started to fall.

" I think we got a big problem" Indy said,surprisingly very calm while Webby desperately tried to remain calm even if it was hard,and it didn't get better when Shorty yelled:

" Dr Jones,no more parachutes!"

" Why did I leave Uncle Scrooge?" She thought before she remembered what she had brought with her.

" Hey we actually do have parachutes!"

Indy came rushing out of the pilot seat and stopping in front of her.

" Where?"

" Come,quickly!"

She ran forward to the box she had slept on and opened it to reveal four parachutes,two for Indy and Willie,and even two small ones for the kids.

" Good job,Webby!" Short Round praised her,and despite the situation,she blushed a little.

" Come on!" Indy said as he put one parachute and helped the kids with theirs and finally Willie had one too and he even had a floating raft just in case for water.

" Jump!"

They all jumped(Willie screaming like her mouth was going to break) Webby was as calm as she could while she was clutching her doll and they fell towards the ground,while slowly descending towards a beach-like area of a river below them and landed safely on it while the plane crashed.

Scrooge couldn't believe what he saw first the pilots leaped out from the plane after the fuel must have been dumped then the plane started to descend and he saw four figures,two adults and two children that thankfully had parachutes which made them land safely

He took a pair of binoculars and looked as clear as he could and managed to see a little pink-dressed figure some moments after their landing step onto a floating raft with three others and began a trip down the river.

" She's okay,Thank goodness" was his only thoughts as he desperately looked for a place they could land but didn't find anything,so he looked at a map and saw that if they just followed the river below them they would sooner or later arrive in India where they maybe could find a place to land maybe Delhi or something.

He pointed to the map:

" Launchpad follow this river and then we may find a place to land and please hurry!"

" Got it Mr Mcdee!" The pilot said as he steered the plane down the river towards India.

Webby quickly fell asleep thanks to the movements of the water and even if she just woke up for some minutes,she felt like she needed a moment to collect herself after everything in just one night,and in her head,she went through the things that had led her here while the raft slowly made its way down the river.

She had gone to Shanghai with her family to get the ashes from the emperor which had led them to a nightclub where she had met the man who saved her from the beagle boys and who saved her now again from a crazy gangster lord.

And when Uncle Scrooge pulled her towards the exit,she finally had enough of being treated like a defenseless idiot and didn't regret what she later did. She saved a person who had saved her so many times,it was the right thing to do.

But she was a tiny regretful how she had yelled at Scrooge like that,sure it was justified but she felt a bit ashamed for treating the man who saw her as family like that,and her last thought before she fell asleep was that he would forgive her for it.

A few hours or maybe just some minutes later she slowly began to wake up and saw that they were near maybe a jungle and also that the others were awake too.

" Where are we?" She asked

" India"

"How do you know that?" Willie asked,but no answer came. Instead he seemed to be doing some greeting which made the others turn around and there stood an old man with grey hair that seemed to only be on the backside of his head while the front side was completely empty.

He looked at them with an almost begging expression and reached out his hand like he was begging for help,and a bit confused they appreciated the help and got out of the raft and were finally on dry land once again.

" Thanks for the help,mister"Webby said but the man acted like he didn't hear her he just began to walk away but motioned them to follow him.

"Are we going to follow him,Indy?" Shorty asked.

" I don't think we really have a choice,Shorty" Indy answered as he and the others began to walk after the man who led them through the small jungle and then to some stone terrain where he pointed towards something at the distance that turned out to be a village but it looked almost lifeless in some way.

They entered and the people looked at and gathered around them and began to do some kind of greeting to them,moving their hands in strange shapes.

Webby didn't really care about what they did,she just tried to take in the surroundings,everything really just seemed lifeless, no green anywhere.

Moments later,they got brought into a hut where some woman came with plates of food to them. Webby, Shorty and Indy appraicted it but Willie was not happy.

" I can't eat this"

Indy looked at her with a disappointed look:

" That's more food than this people eat in weeks,they are starving"

She saw this as an opportunity and tried to give the food back:

" Oh I'm sorry you can have it"

" Eat it"

She slowly turned back to him and gave a forced smile as she said:

" I'm not hungry"

Webby had enough of her Complaints and for the first time she actually talked back to a adult:

" Hey,these people was kind enough to give you food even if they don't barely have any, so how about you show some appreciation?"

Willie looked at her and at the plate then she grabbed some of the food and quickly eated it.

Indy gave Webby a quick wink before turning to the chief of the village with a request:

" Can you provide us with a guide to Deihi,I'm a professor and need to get back to my university and the Young woman ( he pointed at Webby) has a family that must be worried sick for her right now"

Unaware by anyone when she heard these words she couldn't help to think:

" Not everyone,.." which was the triplets in this case,they couldn't worry for her,like they never had been before,so why would they be like that now,even if she had been close to death maybe five times?

The chief said that they could get a guide but then the shaman the man who had lead them there had a suggestion:

" On the way you can stop by Pankot palace".

" Pankot is not on the way to Delhi"

" You Will go to Pankot Palace

" I thought the palace had been deserted"

The shaman shook his head.

" No, it has a new Maharaja,the palace has the power of the dark night,they kill my people".

Now Indy got interested:

" What has happened here?"

"The evil started at Pankot Palace then like monsoon it moves darkness over the country".

" What evil?"

" They came from Pankot Palace and took Sivalinga from our village"

" Took what?" Both Indy and Webby wondered.

" It's a stone, a sacred stone from a shrine that protects the village.

Now the shaman pointed excitedly at them:

" This is why Shiva brought you here".

Indy got a bit unsure and tried to explain:

" We weren't brought here, our plane crashed".

" No,we prayed to Shiva for help to bring someone that could find the stones and you arrived here,it was Shiva who made you fall from the sky so you could go to Pankot Palace,find Slivalinga and bring it back to our village"

Indy crossed his fingers and thought deep ly about he had heard and asked if he could see the place the stone was.

So he and the others was brought to the middle of the village where the stone was before and Indy thought that he might knew what kind of stone it was.

" Is the stone very smooth,like a rock from a sacred river?"

A nod.

" With three lines that represent the three level of the universe?"

"That's right" the chief answered.

Now Webby had a question:

" But why would the Marahdja take the stone?"

The shaman looked down and answered:

" Because my Young one,they want us to worship their evil god".

Now Willie really couldn't understand anything:

" Okay,but I can't understand how one rock can destroy a whole village.

The shaman suddenly started speaking in Indian which got translated by Jones:

" He says that when the sacred stone got stolen the village's wells dried up, the rivers turned to sand,the crops was swallowed by the earth and the animals laid down and turned to dust"

Webby gasped at that last part but the next would terrify her much more:

" Then one night there was a fire in the Fields,men went out to fight it but when they came back the woman were crying and the children were gone,they stole their children"

Webby closed her eyes in terror and began to hope that this was a nightmare,this sounded like a horror story in some way.

Later in the night Indy took alone trying to understand everything he heard and if it could be true when a child suddenly appeared much weak and just as he turned around the boy fell into his arms and said with a almost unhearable voice:

" Sankara"….

Then a woman suddenly came running towards them and picked up her lost son.

Webby came running towards Indy with her doll when she saw the mother and son hugging,finally together which made her a bit sad since she never had that,expect her grandma and maybe Scrooge.

"Who is that Indy?"

Indy answered honesty:

" He might have managed to escape from the palace."

Webby couldn't help to roll her eyes at that statement:

" Do you actually believe any of that?"

" To be honest I not sure what to believe I just have my theories to go after"

" And what are those?"

He opened his mouth to answer but before he could say anything Short Round came up to them and gave them some News:

" Dr Jones,Webby the boy escaped from the evil palace,many of the children are still there,what do we do Dr Jones?"

Indy looked away into the distance for a while:

" What do you think?" Shorty asked as like Webby did.

The silence was only there for a moment until he answered:

"I'm thinking that someone thinks that the sacred rock from this village is one of the lost Sankara Stones."

"What is Sankara?" Both the kids asked.

He put both his hands on the kids's shoulders and answered:

" Fortune and glory,kids,Fortune and glory…"

They went to their hut to get some sleep but then Indy asked Webby:

" Do you want to join us tomorrow or maybe stay here,it can be very dangerous and maybe your family comes here and you can go home with them so what do you want?"

Webby didn't need to think about it:

"I come with you,if children really are trapped there then I can at least try to help"

Indy just smiled:

" You really have grown out of your shell a lot,you will do good,kid"

Webby felt a blush,she couldn't remember the last time she had gotten a comment like that ,then she fell asleep with excitement for the adventure tomorrow.
