Luffy

We started to explore the world we landed on and it looked to be a modern world. Something none of us were from, Nami was from a futuristic world,Zoro from a time before technology,and I was from an apocalypse.There were paintings on almost every building,someone looked like they wanted to remove them but for some reason didn't.

The people of this world seemed rather upset about how their city looked,it was kinda depressing. At this point the sun was coming up and we decided to grab some coffee.Something I've only tried a few times in different worlds,and it never quite tasted the same. I guess because there are different types of coffee and not just because it was another dimension,but that could still play a part in it.

Zoro seemed at a loss,apparently he was only used to the basics and most of this stuff was new to him.While Nami was having the opposite dilemma, she was used to more options and was saying everything looked outdated. I was still trying to get used to coffee so I didn't know what was new and what was old,to me it was just coffee. I ordered a small Caramel macchiato,Zoro ordered a black coffee,and Nami got the only thing that had oranges in it.

We sat in a booth in the back and drank our coffee,and that's when a man came in the coffee shop seemingly looking for someone,he then started to yell at people in the restaurant.

"Has anyone seen that Damed artist around here?!" A lot of people sighed and shook their heads.

"Damit I thought I heard he was around here,sorry to disturb you folks." He then walked out the door, now I knew something was up with all the strange art all over the city.

"Do you guys want to perhaps met this artist,I for one am very interested." I asked the two,they paused for a moment then eventually Zoro smiled Nami did the same shortly after.

"After all that art in town we just saw I think whoever this person is might be fun.Aw heck why not!" Zoro exclaimed,and Nami looked around the coffee shop.

"Alright how are we going to find him though, he seems to be difficult to find."I thought about it for a minute then came up with an idea.

"If I touch one of his paintings I'll be able to find his presence,though with how big this city is it could still take awhile to find him."Nami and Zoro looked concerned.

"Shouldn't you be trying to use your powers as little as possible,I mean come on you almost fainted back there."I guess she was right but I couldn't think of anything else, Nami then gave me a sly smile.

"Let me handle finding him,I have a device that can track him down if we can get a finger print,I can scan a wall and find his print them we can locate him." She pulled out a strange looking box. I didn't argue, I didn't want to use my powers to much anyway,I want to make a portal as quickly as possible and using my powers to much makes it take longer to make a portal.

We left the coffee shop and started walking around looking for fresher looking graffiti. Eventually we did find one and Nami scanned it,luckily enough the person was nearby,about a 5 minute walk from us. We started to head towards them and found ourselves with in an ally way. There was a man at someone's door talking to them,it sounded like a girl, then a man yelled out from somewhere in the building and the door was slammed shut.

The man then turned to us,and I recognized him, it was Usopp,but he was had on a yellow hat and overalls,sunglasses,and he was covered in paint. Also unlike my worlds Usopp he had no scars on him at all, it was kinda weird to look at.

"Who are you people,are you following me?" He seemed agitated.

"No this is the first time we've ever even seen you so how would we follow you? Anyway was that your girlfriend!"I facepalmed when Zoro said that, it was to out of the blue.

"That's none of your business,and yeah right little missy there has something in her hand that's pointed at me,you guys tracked me down.Are you police or something,because you know I'm not going in without a fight!"He didn't even give us time to answer as he pulled out two spray cans and started spraying the air in front of him,and sharp flecks of paint then started to shoot out at us.

Great he has powers,and he's used to people coming after him,sorta like me I suppose. Unlike Zoro and Nami I can't feel pain so I ran through the paint at Usopp.

"Please we don't want to fight,we just what to know why you painted on all the buildings,they look so cool.We were just curious!"I shouted at him and he stopped spaying.

"You think that my paintings are ….cool?" He sounded shocked and confused.

"Yeah it feels like it gives this city life,I feel like this world would be rather empty without it." This world did feel complete with all the art everywhere.

"That's what I've beeen trying to tell people! When I first moved here it was so dull and boring,and my dad is a big time artist,she he left when I was younger but I've always wanted to be like him!" He sounded so passionate talking about his art,i felt just happy to hear him talk to vividly.

"Though recently it's been getting harder and harder to avoid the police,and all my close friends won't talk to me anymore.The only one that will is that girl I just talked to but her brother hates me,so it's really hard to talk to her."I felt really bad for this guy,and in all honesty I really like him,he sounds so lively but level headed.

"Do you perhaps want to leave here and spread your art to other places?"Zoro looked at me and Nami obviously didn't think this was a good idea.

"You mean like travel the world and showing everyone the beauty and happiness that can come with art?!"He sounded quite ecstatic at the idea.

"Well sorta but it would be on a larger scale,you seem to have some kind of power with the way you made that paint attack us,so you must be aware other powers exist." He nodded with excitement in his eyes.

"Yeah I ate a devil fruit awhile back called the paint paint fruit,did you eat a devil fruit too?" I looked down and shook my head,and he looked confused.

"My abilities are very complex and I was born with them,they are much different then that of devil fruit powers,for one I'm able to swim,well I'm not very good at it,but I don't sink like a rock.From what I've gathered in my travels if you eat a devil fruit you lose your ability to swim.Im not going in to much detail but that basics of my powers are I can make portals to other dimensions."He gave me a quizzical look.

"How am I supposed to believe you,I just met you, and all of that sounds bogus."I opened a portal above his head and a bunch of pillows fell out of it,then a paint bottle landed on his head. He stared at it all that was now on the ground around him.

"Ok,I believe you,but why would you want me to come along with you?" He seemed genuinely confused.

"Because I appreciate your art and can see you are just trying to make people happy,here it's seems your skills aren't very appreciated." He sighed a bit when I said that.

"Yeah I suppose you're right but I can't just leave there is someone here that I want to take care of…" He looked the the house that he was just at talking to some guy.

"A girl lives in that house,she's sick and I'm pretty sure her boyfriend is just making it worse,recently I've even seen bruises and cuts on her arms…." An abusive boyfriend huh,I guess I can look into it. I closed my eyes and focused on seeing inside the house.When I opened my eyes again I could see inside the house but I wasn't actually in it.

I was looking through the eyes of the male in the home.He was screaming at a woman and hitting her,I immediately shut my eyes and came back to my body,I couldn't handle that,seeing through the eyes of someone that was abusive almost made me scream. I looked at Usopp and I'm guessing he could see it clear as day on my face.

"Holy Shit you saw it didn't you?! Please please tell me you can help her,once I know she's safe and well and you give me time to think about it I might go with you.Just please PLEASE help her!" He was actually on his knees,crying at my feet. I didn't like that either,I had already decided to help her he didn't need to beg. I don't like people begging me for anything,it made me feel like I'm holding their lives in my hands.When I see people begging all it reminds me of is my days at Gōmon Shisetsu, when I would beg them to not hurt me,I begged for mercy so many times.

As much as I try I can never truly get over my traumas,and they are becoming more difficult to hide as so many things trigger me. My mind was now playing a cruel joke on me, Usopps pleads for me to save his friend shifted and instead all I could hear was my own voice beginning me to not hurt me. A hand on my shoulder snapped me out of it.

"Luffy do you want to help him or no?" It was Nami, Dispite my inner troubles my body showed no signs of my internal struggle.

"Of course I want to help,Usopp please get up you really didn't need to do all that I already wanted to help her." He jumped up with a smile and gave me a crushing hug. I froze,remembering Shanks first time hugging me,he did it suddenly too. I urgently pushed him off of me.

"PLEASE NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!" I didn't even realize I had shouted that, until everyone gave me quizzical looks.

"I mean, just be careful touching me,it's not safe if I'm not ready for it." Usopp looked guilty and now I feel bad,he wasn't trying to hurt me he was just happy.

"Ok,sorry won't happen again." He apologized,Nami looked at me like I was crazy and Zoro just seemed to be trying to understand what just happened. I decided to not waste anymore time,I teleported the man out of the house and teleported Usopp in. The man looked shocked but then quickly looked at us.

"What the hell what's going on-"Before he could finish I punched he really hard in the gut and he passed out. I then edited the world so the police knew what was happening and were on their way to arrest him.The police arrived shortly and he was arrested,Usopp then ran out of the building and then to me.

"Thank you,thank you! You helped me save her,I'll go with you I just need to get my things together and get everything in order,I'll meet you guys back here around 9am tomorrow.Now I'm going to go back inside and help her out. Thank you again!" He ran back inside,it felt good to help others in need.

The next day came around and we met him back in that ally way.When I opened a portal he was completely enamored,I guess that was to be expected.We all went through and landed in a new world once more.

6 Worlds Later

Ok I may have a problem,I keep taking people with me every dimension I go to. Now we were a group of ten people,there was of course Zoro,Nami, Usopp,and me,but now there are six more. Sanji was the fourth to come with me,his girlfriend cheated on him with his brother and now they wanted him dead, talk about betrayal.

There is Chopper who was an assassin that wanted out of that life so I took him with me. Robin came next, She was a thief but not by choice,she was really poor and hungry,and some men were going to try and use her to steal something for them.Of course they weren't going to keep their word and give her some money, instead they were going to leave her to the police so I decided to help her out and she came with me.

Next on the list was Franky who was a former Mob boss till his own men betrayed him. Dispite his past and rough exterior I could tell he was a good guy, so I helped him escape police and he ended up tagging along. Then there was Brook who was brought back from the dead by a devil fruit, he was just extremely lonely so I took him with me as well. Last of the list was Jimbe He's a prince from the sea, he was something called a fish man,his kingdom was corrupt and was trying to execute him so someone else named Hordy could take the throne so I rescued him and he came along as well.

Now I had this group of ten people with me, I had to very sternly tell myself no more.It was risky enough taking one person away from their dimension.I was just so scared and lonely I wanted more people surrounding me, I hate being alone it was always scary painful. Then there's my brothers I'm still looking for them,I'm starting to feel Sabo in a nearby dimension,but his presence feels strange. I could tell it was my Sabo,but it was like there was something wrong with him,I'm worried.

"Galax you alright you look lost in thought?" Chopper the cute little reindeer asked. I want to tell them my real name but ever since that thing with Teach happened I saw it as to risky.

"I'm fine just a bit tired Is all." I was extremely tired, for some reason I've been having trouble sleeping lately. Ever since I've had that dream where I was constantly dying I've been able to sleep less and less.

"Yeah I think we're all tired,how about we set up camp and rest for the night." I nodded and used my powers to set up a fire pit,log seats,and tents. We all sat down and everyone started to chat,I was to distracted to pay attention to what they were saying.

Something felt incredibly off but I couldn't tell what, I decided to go to my tent and try to sleep.

I laid down but even after hours of rolling over any trying so hard to fall asleep,Dispite how tired I was I couldn't do it.It has now been nine nights and days without any sleep,it also hasn't helped that i haven't been eating much,I always throw it up,and my body shows it,I'm losing weight fast. I can't feel the pain of hunger though,I never thought that having no pain receptors would be this bad,but it's an absolute nightmare.

Eventually everyone woke up and I could hear them talking outside,something they said caught my attention though.

"Ummmm who are you?" A stranger is at our camp, just then I had a massive headache and a feeling of helplessness. Everything started to spin, and I had actually passed out. When I woke up I noticed it was still early morning so I wasn't out very long.

I exited my tent and everyone was talking but now they all seem…..off.Did something happen when I passed out?

"Good morning." I greeted,Usopp jumped when I said this and Robin looked more reserved.

"Ok what's going on you guys are acting weird?" They all gave me no reply,now I'm nervous,what happened?

"Guys?" Zoro shot me a glare and Franky scoffed at me. I stared at them in confusion,what was up with this behavior,just yesterday they were concerned about me and now they don't even want to look at me?

"Ok I'm gonna take a walk,I'll be back in an hour." I didn't want to leave but the atmosphere was to uncomfortable. I walked through the woods,I decided to scan the dimension we were in for any anomalies. I did find that an unidentified presence was in our camp about half an hour ago. I couldn't tell who it was or what their intentions were,which was red flags,I'm always able to read everyone and everything in every dimension.

The only people I can't read are from my own world,but that's not possible I'm the only one able to travel through worlds.Only one person can travel through dimensions and he only had the one key, Shanks can't be here it's simply not possible.

I returned to camp and everyone had a different mood,they were all cheerful and were talking to me now. It was still off putting but at least they are talking to me now.

"Well is everyone ready to hop?" To my surprise everyone shook their heads and said no,normally they'd jump at that chance.

"How about we stay here for a bit longer,it's a beautiful dimension and you need your rest,after all you shouldn't be using your powers to much we don't want you to get sick." Sanji gave me a sweet smile.

"I mean I guess but not for to long,I dont like staying in one spot for to long." It wouldn't hurt to stay for a few more days,after all it does help me replenish my powers. I'm still a bit weirded out from the odd behavior but decided not to think on it.

"Kay then let's go find a nearby town and explore!" Something in me is screaming that something is extremely wrong,and I always listen to that feeling, but I have no idea what is going on.Why did I pass out for half an hour,why is the group acting strange, why did I feel so…..helpless?
