Legends Ride Again:

S2: E2: The Seed is Past

"...Amity," Lilith said tentatively, "What are you talking about?"

The young witch didn't respond to her old mentor, her eyes squarely on the human. Shouichi stared at Amity, feeling a little overwhelmed by her request. The human took a quick breath to calm himself and gave the witch a sincere smile.

"I'm sorry," Shouichi said gently, "But what I can do isn't something I can teach you."

Amity continued to stare at the human, resolve never wavering. Lilith saw this, sighed, and got close to her ex-student. She put a hand on Amity's shoulder, and the young witch glared at her.

The older witch offered Amity a kind smile. "Amity," Lilith said sympathetically, "I know you're hurting, but there are better ways to handle your pain."

Amity growled and swatted Lilith's hand away. She snapped around and glared at the older witch. Feeling a little scared of her ex-student, Lilith put her hands up non-threateningly and stepped back.

"You don't get to talk to me like that, Clawthorne!" Amity snapped. "You don't know what those knights took from me-"

Amity suddenly gasped and looked around frantically, her eyes narrowing. Lilith, Vee, and Shouichi exchanged confused looks as Amity's building anger caused her eyes to glow lilac. Then, she threw her arms into the air and screamed to the heavens.

"Amity…" Vee asked in confusion. "What's wrong?"

Amity snapped her head in the basilisk's direction, and Vee squeaked when the young witch glared fiercely at her.

"What's wrong?" the Abomination witch snapped. "I will tell you what's wrong!"

Everyone watched Amity paced in front of them, frantically running her hands with her hair.

"One of those blasted knights was here," Amity explained angrily. "Better; he was hurt fighting one of his things!"

Lilith and Vee were surprised by this new information. For all they knew, the Order had complete control over their monsters, so it was shocking to hear that one could rebel.

"I thought we could capture him and finally get some answers," Amity continued, fuming. "But he must have sneaked away when we were all busy!"

Amity shouted her frustration and summoned her staff. She got on it and rocketed away before anyone could say a thing to her. Shouichi watched the young witch disappear into the sky, then looked at Lilith in concern.

"Is she going to be okay?" the human asked the witch in concern.

Lilith stared at the sky for a second, then sighed. "It's a complicated matter," she explained, looking at Shouichi. "It's best for the time being to give her some space."

Shouichi frowned and looked back at the sky. He could tell Amity was hurting, and that caused him to want to help her. Unfortunately, he knew from experience that pressing someone when they weren't ready could lead to more problems.

So, the human promised himself he would be there for Amity when she was ready.

"Now," Lilith said, getting Shouichi's attention. "We should be leaving as well. We still have to inform Darius about your arrival. He would also like to know about this recent development."

"Why are we going to Darius?" Vee asked curiously.

Lilith smiled at the young basilisk as her Palisman turned into a staff.

"Darius is currently putting together a special unit to deal with the Order," the historian explained, mounting her staff, then looked at the human. "He requested that you meet with him when you arrived."

Shouichi nodded and headed to the LightChaser. Vee joined Lilith on her staff as the human mounted the machine and started it. The historian led the way to where Darius was housing his anti-Burning Kight unit.

Lady Brightthorne watched Captain Braddock limp into the Common room, holding his right side.

"I take it that you had to dispose of the Blooburn?" The female knight inquired evenly.

The knight captain looked at his superior, scoffed, and dragged himself over to the store of bile. He took two vials from the shelf and tore the tops off. Lady Blightthorne scowled as she watched her subordinate crudely down the bile.

Braddock breathed out slowly, letting his body absorb the bile to heal him. He looked at his superior, his face hardening.

"...We have a problem," the knight captain said calmly.

"If you're any sign," Lady Blightthorne said, a mocking tone underlining her voice, "I don't think we have much to worry about if another Greater escapes."

Braddock growled when he saw the mocking smirk his superior put on.

"TITAN, WOMAN!" the knight captain screamed, throwing the bottles to the ground. "There's another Human Witch!"

The smirk was wiped clear off Lady Blighttorne's face, replaced with skepticism. She got closer to the knight captain and stared deeply into the captain's eyes. Braddock held his ground, glaring.

"...You're not lying," Lady Blighthorn said tensely.

Braddock growled and pushed his superior away from him. Lady Blightthorne scowled at this but didn't retaliate.

"You think so little of me that I make something like this up?" the captain retorted.

Lady Blightthorne didn't respond to that accusation but didn't need to; Braddock could see it in the female knight's eyes. The knight captain decided not to address his superior lack of faith in him and pushed past her.

"...And I suppose you gain those injuries from that new human witch?" Lady Blightthorne asked tentatively.

Captain Braddock looked at his superior, and the female knight saw the shame clouding her subordinate's eyes. The captain looked to the floor and growled.

"...The Greater Blooburn prove to be more capable than I first thought," Captain Braddock admitted shamefully.

Lady Blightthorne chooses not to respond to what Braddock said as the knight captain looks back, face hardening.

"However, I could tell that the new human witch is far more experienced than Kuuga," The knight captain said firmly.

Lady Blightthorne looked Braddock in the eyes. Once again, the female knight couldn't see any sign that her subordinate was lying. The female knight frowned as she processed this new development.

"...Are you certain, Captain?" Lady Blightthorne asked evenly.

Braddock made a noise, something between a growl and a frustrated sigh. His patience was running thin, but he kept his emotions in check as he explained what he witnessed.

"I watched as the new Human Witch fought the Greater and made decisions based on what he saw. The new witch's magic is also similar to the Kuuga's, and he knows how to employ it to gain the most out of his magic."

Lady Blightthorne listened to her subordinate, an unreadable expression on her face. The gears were already working in the female knight's head, forming plans. If what the captain was saying was true, she might get an opportunity she lost when she took out the first human witch.

"Another human witch…" the female knight mused softly, smiling.

Braddock saw his superior's smile and nearly groaned. He knew what was happening in Lady Blightthorne's mind by her expression, which had turned manic.

The knight captain watched the lady knight leave the room and sighed in dissatisfaction. "You're good, Human Witch Agito," he muttered, "but you're no Luz Noceda."

(Three days later)

Amity scowled as she found herself in that accursed room, looking at the table where her love lay motionless. Amity looked down, her scowl becoming a guilt-filled frown as she stared at her girlfriend's pale skin.

The young witch reached out, hesitated for a second, then caressed Luz's cheek. Amity's heart broke at how cold her girlfriend's cheek felt.

"Oh, Luz," Amity moaned remorsefully. "I'm so sorry!"

"Why," A familiar voice said in a harsh whisper. "Isn't this want you wanted?"

Startled, Amity looked behind her and saw herself as she appeared two years ago. Past Amity looked at her future self with such deep hatred that it scared Amity.

Past Amity stepped towards Amity, and the Abomination witch stepped back in fright. Amity groaned when she felt her back collided with something, and she couldn't help but look over her shoulder.

Amity gasped when she saw that someone else was on the table. She covered her mouth and stared at Willow, wearing her old Abomination uniform with a look of betrayal engraved on her face.

"...Willow?" Amity barely choked out. "Why?"

"Why not?" Past Amity mocked. "You're the reason she's like that."

Amity snapped her head around, trying to glare at her past self. She nearly gasped when she saw Past Amity had changed; the ghost now looked like Amity did before she was trapped in the human realm. The witch's past incarnation was even dressed in her Hexside uniform.

"Don't look so shocked," Past Amity taunted crudely. "You're a Blight, and you know all Blights are good for are betraying everyone they're close to…just so they can get ahead."

Amity wanted to argue, to tell her past self that she was wrong, but she felt like her jaw was sewed shut. She stared with widening eyes as her past self closed the gap.

Amity watched as Past Amity's hair faded into aquamarine-green and styled itself into a short ponytail.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about?" Amity finally managed to say.

Past Amity just scoffed at this and crossed her arms over her chest. Amity watched as the last bit of brown was covered by hair dye and noticed that her past self radiated an aura of superiority.

"Please," Past Amity scoffed, "I can tell what's been going through your head ever since you found out you can hurt the Blooburn."

Amity's past self smiled a condescending smile, and Amity couldn't help but shiver as that smile brought back many unpleasant memories.

"You secretly wanted the human out of the picture," Past Amity said condescendingly. "That way, you could raise up and take your rightful place as the Isles' sole protector."

Amity's anger flared as her past self's smile turned into a cocky grin and growled. There was no way she would let that ghost of her old self talk about Luz in such a manner.

"I LOVE LUZ!" Amity screamed, lunging at her past self.

Amity tried to grab Past Amity but only grabbed air. The young witch growled, glaring at where her past self stood. She snapped around, trying to find the ghost.

Amity noticed that her surroundings had suddenly changed. She was now in her house's living room. Her eyes narrowed, and her lips curled back when she saw who was sitting on the couch.

Lady Blightthorne sat on the couch, hands on her lap, smiling condescendingly at Amity. Standing next to the female knight was Past Amity. Amity's past self was dressed in regal attire in the same color as Lady Blightthorne.

The young witch growled in a near-wild, animal-like fashion as she glared murderously at her ancestor. Amity tried to lunge at the female knight but found her feet glued to the floor.

"Why deny it any longer, my heir?" Lady Blighttorne said condescendingly, speaking in Odalia's voice. "You're a Blight, and as such, you stand above everyone else."

The female knight stood up and walked over to Amity, Past Amity following. Amity growled as she noticed her past self trialing Lady Blightthorne like a tame pet.

She felt sick to her stomach when she saw Past Amity look at Lady Blightthorne with great admiration.

Lady Blightthorne reached Amity and slowly reached out her right hand. She caressed Amity's cheek with a finger, and Amity felt like she wanted to vomit from the gesture. She tried to bite that finger clean off but found herself completely immobile.

Amity felt her hatred soared as Lady Blightthorne morphed into Odalia entirely.

"And with that distraction out of the way," Odalia said smoothly, "You're ready to take your place among our family's greatest members."

"I'M NOT LIKE YOU!" Amity screamed, shooting up in her bed.

Breathing through clenched teeth and her eyes glowing, Amity grabbed her bed coverings and looked around. She was in her room, and given the light trying to shine through her curtains, she could tell it was mid-morning.

She let out a frustrated groan and ran a hand down her face. Amity looked at her hand when she felt something wet and scowled when she saw the blood on her palm.

"Titan," Amity muttered angrily, "When is this stupid cut going to heal?

She threw off the covers and got out of bed. Amity scowled when she saw the lilac dome around her bed and drew a spell circle. The dime shimmered and disappeared a second later.

With her sound-canceling spell gone, the young witch made her way to her vanity. Amity grabbed some first aid items and cleaned and bandaged the cut.

When she was finished treating her wound, Amity looked at her mirror. She scowled as she pictured her image replaced with an image of how she looked before Luz came into her life.

"...I'm not like them," Amity told herself, looking away.

(SC)

Shouichi frowned as he looked down at the girl on the bed. He gently pressed his hand against Luz's cheek, his frown deepening when he felt how cold it felt.

"...How is Luz-Chan?" the Japanese chef asked, looking at Lilith.

Lilith looked at the human and sighed. Then, with a sad frown, she looked at Luz. Gently, she took her niece-in-all-but-name's hand and felt her heart break slightly from how clammy it was.

Lilith stared at Luz for over a minute before she steeled her emotions and looked back at Shouichi.

"Physically," The witch historian explained, "She's fine. Mentally and spiritually, however, are different matters."

Shouichi frowned and looked back at Luz. He gently touched the young woman's face again, and his frown deepened.

Shouichi felt something strange and familiar about his best friend's daughter. It was something he hadn't felt in over two decades, but he wondered what it meant.

The human's thoughts were interrupted when the back of his neck began to itch. With a surprised groan, Shouichi reached behind his neck and tried to soothe this inch. He scowled slightly when the itch wasn't going away. If anything, the scratching was making it worse.

Lilith noticed the human's discomfort and got slightly concerned. "Is everything okay, Mister Shouichi?" she inquired.

Shouichi ignored the itch on his neck as he looked at the witch. "Yes," he replied smiling, "Just think a bug bit me."

Lilith made a face, recalling an incident when Luz was bit by a demon realm bug. She moved behind Shouichi and looked at the bite in question. It was small and barely seeable, but Lilith did note that the skin around the bite was red from all the scratching.

Lilith studied the bite mark for another second and determined that the human wasn't in any danger. Still, she decided to stop by a potion shop and get a strong anti-bug potion.

She didn't want another incident like the one where Luz's entire arm swelled and turned a nasty shade of green from a bug bite.

"Is everything okay, Lilith-San?" Shouichi asked slight concern in his voice.

"Yes," Lilith replied, looking at the human, "Just remembering a…experience when I was living with Luz."

Shouichi smiled when he saw the witch's concern and love for his friend's daughter. It made him happy that his Luz was surrounded by such loving people. The Japanese chef's smile shrunk slightly as a thought popped into his head.

"Where's Eda-San and King-Kun?" Shouichi asked curiously.

Lilith stared at the human for a moment, then sighed.

"I sent both of them home," she explained, a hint of concern in her voice. "They both had been here since Luz was brought in it. I know they're worried, but they also had to think about their own health as well. We don't want to worry Luz when she wakes up and learns that Edalyn and King hadn't taken care of themselves."

Shouichi nodded, understanding Lilith's perspective. He knew how important it was to maintain one's health, even in dire times.

The chef looked at the historian and saw she had turned her attention to the room's door. He frowned, noticing the worry in Lilith's eyes.

"Are you expecting someone, Lilith-San?" Shouichi asked.

Lilith sighed and looked at Luz. Shouichi noticed the sadness in the witch's eyes growing.

After a moment's pause, Lilith replied, "Yes, I was hoping Amity would stop by and see her girlfriend."

Shouichi looked at Luz as he processed things. He remembered his encounter with the young witch a few days ago. He didn't realize it then, but he saw a sadness in Amity's eyes…and something more.

Before the human could inquire more about Amity, Lilith looked at him with a small but sad smile.

"I think I will head to the cafeteria and have an early lunch," the historian said. "Would you like to join me?"

"In a minute," Shouichi replied with a kind smile. "I want to pray for Luz-Chan."

Lilith was a bit confused by the human's words but nodded. Shouichi watched as the witch left the room and then turned his attention to his friend's daughter.

"Yusuke-San…" Shouich moaned regretfully, "I wasn't here when your daughter needed me the most. But I promise to protect this land so Luz-Chan can return to her loved ones."

Shouichi uttered a prayer in Japanese, bowing in respect. Then, he left the room and hurried after Lilith.

A few seconds after the Japanese chef left the room, the air to the right of Luz's bed shimmered and distorted. The air continued to distort, spiraling inwards, and a figure came into view.

This mysterious new person wore a white, full-body robe with a lilac undercoat. A hood covered her head, though a lock of brown hair was hanging out.

In the person's right hand was a staff with a Palisman on the top. The Palisman in question was a lilac cat with a snake's tail.

The mysterious figure frowned at Luz. They studied the girl for a second, then held their staff and placed it over Luz's waist. The figure then brought her hand to her waist, and a slight glow came from under their robe. The light reached their Palisman and washed over Luz.

A golden light came from Luz's waist and began to overtake the light over the human witch.

Captain Braddock entered the commons room and was hit with a foul odor. His nose wrinkled, and he covered his mouth as he glared in the direction of the stench.

Lady Blightthorne had sent up a makeshift laboratory in one corner of the commons room. There were three tables set with different vials and other things the knight captain didn't care to know the name of.

The knight captain scowled when he saw Lady Blightthorne hunched over one of the tables and the contents of one of the vials bubbling, a thick green smoke rising from it.

It didn't take much to figure out that the stench was coming from the vial.

"TITAN, WOMAN!" Braddock screeched, marching up to his superior. "Don't you have your place to defile?"

Lady Blightthorne didn't notice or hear her subordinate; she was too engrossed in her project to see anything. Braddock noticed this and growled in irritation. He grabbed Lady Blightthorne on the shoulder, which startled the female knight.

The female knight snapped around and backhanded the knight captain across the face. Braddock grunted as he hit the floor, clutching his left cheek. He glared up at Lady Blightthorne and saw she was also glaring.

"Don't disturb me when I'm working, Captain," the female knight exclaimed angrily.

Braddock growled and got to his feet. He got close to his superior to the point their chests were nearly touching.

"Your work, my lady, is defiling this room," the knight captain retorted. "Why don't you use your own private laboratory for such matters?"

Lady Blightthorne growled and narrowed her brow as she glared venomously at the knight captain. Braddock wasn't intimated by his superior, returning the glare with scorn.

After nearly a minute-long glaring match, Lady Blightthorne scoffed and returned to her work. Braddock growled and was about to say something when he heard a faint whine.

The captain looked to his right and saw Francis in a corner. The feral boy, with his head low and nose covered, continued to whine about the odor. The sight of the feral child was enough to cool Braddock's temper enough that he could address his superior without problems.

"I must know, my lady," Braddock said, looking at his superior suspiciously. "Don't you have your private laboratory for such tasks?"

Lady Blightthorne scoffed at this question but still answered her subordinate.

"If you must know, Dear Captain, my laboratory is no longer useable, not since it was exposed when I took down Human Witch Kuuga. Now, leave me be! My work is nearly complete."

Braddock cocked an eyebrow and, despite his grievances, became curious. He walked up to his superior and looked over her shoulder at her project.

The knight captain made a face when he saw Lady Blightthorne looking at an Abomiburn the size of a bug. On closer examination, the knight captain saw the Abomiburn had some kind of device on it.

"What are you planning this time?" Braddock asked.

Lady Blightthorne groaned but looked at the knight captain with her eyes.

"If you must know," she retorted, "I'm using an altered version of Commander Shadowblood's favorite method of dealing with large groups."

Braddock stared at the Abomiburn, trying to remember more about one of the founders of the Order of the Burning Knights.

Commander Shadowblood was known as a great crafter of magic, able to create spells like no other in the Order. He was also a gifted tactician, able to develop plans that could trounce large hordes of enemies.

Braddock's eyes widened when he remembered that Commander Shadowblood's favorite method of dealing with his enemies was to poison them through unknown means.

Braddock narrowed his eyes and gave his superior a suspicious glare. He could figure out what Lady Blightthorne was planning.

"You're planning on poisoning that new human witch soon," he said tentatively.

Lady Blightthorne looked at him with a sadistic grin. "Soon?" she exclaimed, offended, and then smirked. "Dear Captain, I already begun!"

Braddock blinked as he processed this information, then looked at the tiny Abomiburn. It didn't take much to figure out what the new model was meant to do. He looked back at his superior, impressed.

Lady Blightthorne noticed this, and her smirk grew. She turned back to her Abomiburn and went back to work. She took a sample of blood and added it to a vial.

Braddock watched as the vial turned red and frowned as the stench worsened. With a groan, he stepped to the center of the room and drew a spell circle.

The knight captain pointed the circle up, sending the spell to the ceiling. The circle then created a hole, allowing the chemical fumes to escape. With his task done, Braddock returned to his superior's side and watched her work.

The knight captain frowned as he watched Lady Blightthorne add more blood to her mix of chemicals. Braddock saw the chemicals darkened before returning to its original transparentness.

"What is your goal with that blood?" Braddock asked curiously.

Lady Blightthorne gave the captain a knowing smirk. Braddock groaned, knowing from that smirk that he wasn't going to get a straight answer.

"All in due time, Dear Captain," Lady Blightthorne replied tauntingly, then turned serious. "Now…prepare a Blooburn and send it into the city. That should lure the new human witch out."

Braddock groaned again but left to complete his task.

Amity frowned guiltily, looking at the hospital with a guilty look. She glanced at the second story, knowing that Luz's room was on that floor. Then, she turned her attention to the front door, her jaw moving as she worked up the nerve to step into the building and finally see her girlfriend.

"Oh, mittens," The voice of her mother suddenly said in the back of her head. "Can't bring yourself to see the pathetic state of your little pet. Not surprising…you did put there in the first place."

Amity groaned and frantically shook her head to banish the voice. She looked away from the hospital's door. The inventor frowned when she noticed the LightChaser near the hospital entrance and figured that Shouichi was there.

"...Probably visiting Luz," Amity muttered sadly, walking up to her creation.

The young abomination witch's face filled with guilt as she ran a finger across the seat of her bike. She traced her finger along the edge and found the handhole on the seat. She brought her fingers under it and lifted the cover.

Amity sighed sadly when she saw the weapon components she had made for Luz. She remembered all the hours she had spent ensuring the simple handles were perfect for her girlfriend.

Amity's grip tightened on the seat cover, and she choked back a sob as tears began to well up. Her breathing became uneven as she reached for the handle used to make Luz's Titan's sword, her hand trembling.

"Amity!"

Startled, Amity slammed the seat cover closed and looked at the hospital door. Emira looked at her with slightly wide eyes. Amity watched as her older sister descended the stairs and approached her.

"Em?" Amity squeaked. "What are you doing here?"

Emira ignored her sister's question in favor of studying Amity. The healer-in-training frowned as she took in her sister's appearance. She couldn't help but notice that Amity seemed a bit thinner than the last time she saw her. The bags under Amity's eyes were bigger than she had ever seen.

"Emira!" Amity suddenly snapped, jolting the young healer out of her thoughts. "What are you doing here?"

Emira sighed and gave her sister a slight glare. "I have been interning here for the last two months. I told you that, remember?"

Amity frowned as she recalled Emira saying about beginning an internship at the hospital a while back.

"Are you here to visit Luz?" Emira suddenly asked, a hopeful smile on her face.

Amity's eyes filled with guilt, and she looked away so her sister didn't see it. Emira saw her sister's sudden mood change and reached out to comfort her.

Amity's head suddenly snapped up, and she spun around, startling her sister. Emira was confused as she watched her little sister; Amity's fist clenched tightly, and she snarled loudly. Emira also noticed that Amity was shaking slightly, and she realized it was out of anger.

Before Emira could question Amity about her behavior, she heard a door slam open. Startled and jumping slightly, the healer-in-training looked at the door and saw Shouichi rushing out of the hospital.

The human ran to the LightChaser, hopped on it, and started it. Amity and Emira stepped back as Shouichi put on his helmet and dove off at high speeds.

Emira watched the human disappearing into the horizon, feeling a sense of Deja vu. She heard Amity growl and looked at her sister just in time to see her summon her staff and take off after the human.

Emira blinked as she watched her sister disappear, bewildered by everything that just happened. Before she could gather herself, Lilith came running out of the hospital.

"Emira!" the historian screamed. "Did you see where Mister Shouichi went?"

Still a little shocked, the eldest Blight child pointed in the direction the human and her sister went. Lilith quickly nodded her thanks and called her Palisman.

The white bird became its staff form, and Lilith took off after Shouichi and Amity.

Emira still felt a little overwhelmed, looking at the sky when things clicked with her. She realized that Blooburn was probably on the loose. If that were the case, people could be hurt and need help.

With that in mind, Emira summoned her staff and hurried after the others, determined to help however she could.

Shouichi rode into a residential area and immediately found the Blooburn. The creature attacked everything in sight randomly, letting out a roar now and then. The human came to a stop, hopping off his bike as he thrust off his helmet.

Shouichi slapped the back of his neck when he felt a bite but paid no mind as his attention was focused on the Blooburn.

It has the face of a piranha with fins on its forearms and coming out from its back shoulders. Its hands were webbed, and its legs were scaly.

Shouichi narrowed his eyes as he thrust his left hand to his side. He threw his right hand out, then to his chest. With a spiral of light, The Altering appeared. Shouichi breathed out, extending his right arm.

"HENSHIN!" Shouichi screamed and slammed his hands to the buttons on his belt.

With the sound of a reviving engine and a flash of light, the human changed into his Agito: Ground form.

The Piraha Blooburn noticed the Agito, roared, and rushed at him. It took a wide swing, and Shouichi ducked the blow. He punched the Blooburn in the chest, and the creature jerked back. The Agito kicked it in the chest, and the piranha-faced doubled over.

Shouichi balled his hands together and brought them over his head. Before he could swing, the Piranha Blooburn rammed into the human. Shouichi grunted as the creature bite into his side. The human planted his feet on the ground and grabbed the creature. The Agito twisted at the hips and threw the beast off of him.

The Piranha Blooburn rolled slightly but quickly recovered and jumped to its feet. With a roar, The blooburn's mouth glowed. The creature thrust its head forward, and pale teal energy teeth shot from its mouth.

Shouichi saw the attack coming and rolled to his right, avoiding the first wave. The Blooburn roared again and fired more energy teeth at its opponent. Shouich darted around the attack and moved in close.

The Agito was close to his opponent when his breath suddenly hitched. He dropped to his knees and struggled to breathe. Shouichi could feel his joints locking up and couldn't move when his opponent launched another attack.

The energy teeth hit their mark, causing a small explosion. Shouichi screamed as he was thrown back. He hit the ground with a grunt. The Agito tried to get up but felt his body working against him, and he fell to the ground, turning back to his human form.

"Hmm…" Shouichi heard someone say as a shadow loomed over him, "Seems I miscalculated the dosage I gave you. The poison should have taken effect immediately after my bug-type Abomiburn infected you."

With great effort, Shouichi lifted his head, and his eyes snapped open when he saw a woman who looked like Amity. He realized this woman was the one he had been told about, Lady Blighthorne.

The female knight leaned down, ran a finger across Shouichi's face, and smiled triumphantly.

"BLIGHTTHORNE!"

The female knight looked up and saw Amity dropping from the sky, abomination matter form around her. The young witch formed her mock "Kuuga" form, minus a helmet, and created a staff from the extra matter.

Lady Blightthorne wasn't impressed, scoffed, and moved to her right when Amity brought down her staff. Amity's weapon hit the road, cracking it.

With a growl, Amity positioned herself in front of Shouichi as the Piranha Blooburn joined the female knight.

"Hello, my heir," Lady Blightthorne said condescendingly. "I'm sorry, But I am not here to exchange pleasantries. So be a good girl and move aside."

Amity growled as the female knight waved her off and tightened her grip on her staff. Lady Blightthorne saw this, let out a sigh, and drew a spell circle. She pushed the spell forward, and a blast of compressed air shot out from the circle.

Amity couldn't move fast enough and took the spell at full force. The force of the spell rapped the bandage off of her cheek as she moaned. She felt the female knight's spell rush over her, and a second later, she could feel the magic of her abomination matter leave her.

Amity's abomination suit dried out and became bitter, crumbling off the young witch. She growled as she watched her staff crumble away. She turned her attention to her ancestor and glared at her.

"Dear," Lady Blightthorne commented, smiling in a mock motherly fashion, "You must take better care of yourself. Even a small wound like yours can get infected."

Amity didn't reply; she just kept glaring at the female knight. Lady Blightthorne just shook her hand in mock motherly disappointment.

"Piranha Blooburn," Lady Blightthorne commanded her creature, "Kindly move my heir, and don't be too gentle."

The creature roared and marched up to Amity. The abomination witch tried to summon some abomination matter but found her spell circle fizzled out before she could complete it. She looked back at the Blooburn, accepting her fate.

"...I'm sorry, Luz," Amity said apologetically, "I will be joining you soon."

The Piranha Blooburn reached Amity and went to grab her. Suddenly, a bright flash exploded from Amity's cut, knocking the creature back and blinding everyone in the area.

Amity gasped and blinked. She looked around and found herself in an open field surrounded by wheat blowing in the wind. She continued to look around, trying to get her bearings, when she sensed someone in front of her.

Amity looked forward and saw a human dressed in white staring at her with an unreadable expression. The man flashed and suddenly flew at Amity, compressing into a ball of light. Amity screamed and covered her face with her arms as she felt something gently enter her.

"What in Titan's name was that?" Amity heard Lady Blightthorne shout.

Amity lowered her arms and saw she was back in Bonesborough. She stared at the Blooburn, and her eyes narrowed, feeling something had changed within her.

Becoming determined, Amity thrusts her arms to her waist, her left hand over her right, and her index and middle fingers out. An orange light glowed from her wrists as she thrust her hands under her chin, right hand over left, and the light changed to purple.

Silver energy spiraled into existence and formed a belt. The light died down from Amity's wrists, showing a wristband with a hexagon jewel. The jewel on the left was orange, and the one on the right was purple.

The belt's design was similar to Shouichi's, with a few minor differences. The most significant difference was that the spiral decal was silver and slightly wide to accommodate the bronze diamond-shaped centerpiece.

Finally, the belt lacked the "extra eyes" that the older Agito had.

Amity breathed out, repositioning her limbs so her right arm was across her chest and her left elbow resting on her knuckles.

"HENSHIN!" Amity screamed angrily, thrusting her arms to her sides and clicking the buttons.

With the sound of a summoning spell circle and a flash of bronze light, Amity changed into something similar to Shouichi's Agito form, but with notable differences.

The most significant difference between Amity and Shouichi's forms was the chest piece, which was smaller and tighter to Amity's chest. The object on Amity's chest, the Wiseman Monolith, was smaller and had a picture of the Construction Coven.

Instead of a dull silver ribcage, Amity's was lilac.

The jewels on Amity's wristbands were now slightly larger and now rested in the center of each band. Amity's shoulders had double spikes on them with lilac diamonds in them. Her horns were silver and somewhat slimmer.

Running from her boots were lilac lines that ended at the knee pads, which also spotted the Construction Coven's sigil. More lilac lines run up the side of Amity's

thighs and ended at the buttons on her belt.

Finally, Amity's armor pieces were a dull bronze, and her undersuit was a gunmetal gray.

Amity looked at her hands, flexing them as she felt power surging through her body. Balling her hands into fists, she became confident.

"What in Titan's name!" Lady Blightthorne screamed. "I thought only human witches were capable of such magic?"

Amity looked ahead and saw the Piranha Blooburn coming to its senses. With a primal roar, the young witch threw herself at the creature as it got to its feet. She aggressively punched it in the face and kicked it in the chest.

The Blooburn stumbled back, slightly dazed from the sudden assault. It recovered just as Amity threw another punch. It growled and caught the fist with its teeth.

Amity grunted but endured the pain and delivered a right hook to her opponent's face. The blooburn grunted but refused to let go, so Amity punched it again.

The beast still refused to let out, and Amity growled in frustration. She then kneed the Blooburn in the stomach, and the creature finally let her go as it stumbled backward, clutching its stomach.

Amity roared as she jumped up and delivered a downward punch to her opponent, knocking it to the ground. She brought up her left leg and delivered a heel kick to the Blooburn's head. She roared to the skies and began kicking her opponent aggressively.

From the sidelines, Shouichi tried to watch the fight, but he was in too much agony to focus on much. What he could tell, however, was that Amity had transformed, and from the looks of it, she was like him.

"Mister Shouichi!" Lilith screamed as she descended to the ground with Emira.

Shouichi looked at the witches, barely able to focus on them. Lilith frowned as she studied the human.

Shouichi was in mad shape. He was pale, his breathing labored, and he shook with each breath. His brow was covered in sweat, and he looked like he could pass out at any moment.

"Emira!" Lilith shouted, looking at the healer-in-training. "See if you can help Mister Shouichi!"

Lilith saw that Emira was focused on the fight and couldn't help but look at the fight as well.

Somehow, the Piranha Blooburn had gotten away from Amity's relentless assault and had tackled her to the ground. It was snapping its jaws at the young abomination witch, and Amity was barely dodging its attack.

Finally, Amity got fed up with the creature and kneed its side. The Piranha-faced creature involuntarily jerked back from the attack, allowing Amity to move. She then pushed the creature off her and got to her feet.

A sudden groan caught Lilith's attention, and she looked at Shouichi. Lilith's eyes widened when she saw that the human's condition had worsened, and Shouichi's eyes were clouding over.

"Emira!" Lilith shouted, snapping her head in the young witch's direction. She saw that Emira was still transfixed on her sister, and Lilith scowled. "EMIRA! We need to help Mister Shouichi!"

Emira was snapped out of her trace by Lilith's outburst, blinked, and looked at the human. She saw the state Shouichi was in and immediately went to work. She drew a large spell circle as she stepped closer to the human.

Emira aimed her spell at Shouichi and let her magic flow into him. Lilith watched as Emira began to struggle as whatever was afflicting Shouichi was actively fighting against the older Blight child's magic.

Emira didn't back down and put more magic into her spell, pushing her hands forward slightly. Lilith watched as Shouichi started to react to Emira's spell; his body stopped shaking as his breathing evened out.

The human took a quick breath, finding it easier to breathe, and looked at Emira with a small smile. Emira returned the gesture and continued to work on her spell.

Lilith also smiled, glad that the human was out of danger. She then looked back at the fight, face turning serious.

Amity was panting, but her opponent was in the same shape. The Piranha Blooburn roared, and its mouth glowed. It jerked its head forward, and energy teeth rocketed at Amity.

Amity saw the attack coming and dodged and rolled to her right. The Blooburn tried its attack again, but Amity flew over it this time. She thrust her left fist out and connected with the creature's face.

The Piranha went flying and came down on its back as Amity landed. The young witch straightened up, and extra pieces folded out on her horns. She stepped back on her right foot and brought her left arm in front of her chest, making a fist as a silver Agito symbol appeared under her.

The symbol spiraled inwards as the energy was absorbed into Amity's feet. Before the energy was absorbed entirely, Amity slammed her fist into the emblem, collecting some of the energy into her fist.

The Piranha Blooburn got to its feet, roared, and charged at the same time Amity ran at her opponent. She jumped into the air, rotated her body so her feet were in the air, and delivered a double-heel kick to the creature's head.

The young witch landed and immediately sprung up, thrusting her fist into the Blooburn's core, energy exploding off her fist.

The Piranha Blooburn screamed as it flew back, its core cracking and energy surging around the creature. It exploded a second before it hit the ground.

Amity held her arm out for a few seconds, panting, before relaxing her body. With a quick inhale, she looked around. Amity growled with mounting frustration when she couldn't find Lady Blightthorne.

It didn't take long for Amity to figure out that her ancestor had fled when the battle turned against her, and that caused the young witch to scream to the heavens, returning to her standard form.

From the sideline, Lilith watched as her ex-student continued to scream at the top of her lungs.

"...What's happening to Amity?" Emira suddenly asked in concern.

Lilith frowned at the elder Blight child. She wanted to answer Emira but was just as confused as the teenager. Thankfully, Shouichi seemed to have the answer.

"S-She's an Agito," the human chef choked out weakly, then added, primarily to himself, "B-But how? Only humans should be able to turn into an Agito."

Lilith frowned as she processed Shouichi's words. Looking back at Amity, she saw that the young witch was starting to calm down, out of breath from yelling for so long.

The ex-Coven Head didn't know what was happening with her ex-student, but she decided she wouldn't let history repeat itself. This time, Lilith swore she would stand by Amity through all her trying times.

(Yusuke Godai's Final Stand: Part 1)

Luz blinked and looked around. She found herself in a dark place with a thin mist nipping at her heels.

Luz wondered how she got here. The last thing she remembered was an intense pain, though she did faintly recall someone screaming her name. She gasped as the memories came flooding back to her.

The human witch remembered being captured by the enemy, but more importantly, her girlfriend was also captured alongside her. Luz snapped her head around, trying to find an exit so she could get back to Amity.

"You're pregnant?" an unfamiliar voice exclaimed in surprise and joy.

Luz looked ahead and gasped when she found herself in a place she hadn't seen in over a decade. It was the house she had lived in before her family moved to Gravesfield.

A younger version of her mother sat on the couch beside a very excited Japanese man who held her hands. It didn't take long for Luz to recognize the man as Yusuke Godai, the man from whom she inherited her powers from.

"Si, Mi Amor," the younger Camila said, holding her stomach while smiling slightly bashfully.

Luz was confused; why was she seeing this…memory? Did this have something to do with all those weird dreams she sometimes had?

"...That was the happiest time of my life," a voice suddenly said nostalgically.

Startled, Luz looked to her right and gasped when she saw the person standing next to her.

(G Corner)

There are a few things I need to unpack before wrapping things up.

First and foremost, I would like to apologize to all Kamen Rider Agito fans following this story, but starting after this episode, Shouichi will take on a mentoring role with Amity and Luz once she returns to action. Eventually, he would return to fighting shape, but it wouldn't happen for a while.

Second, if anyone is wondering, yes… eventually, versions of G3-X and Gills will be introduced, but it's not happening until early season three. And you might be surprised who is behind those masks.

Finally, and most importantly, I would like your input on something. I plan on doing a "summer" movie event to explain the person who appeared before the comatose Luz. Would you all like it to be part of the main story or separate from it?
