Anna looked at Lady Elsa. "When did you start seeing things Anna?" Lady Elsa asked, putting what looked like tarot cards out. Anna shrugged. "It really started the night my mother died. But it was all a dream. Mixed with a memory. That's what my doctor at the hospital told me.
Lady Elsa raised an eyebrow at her.
"Or it actually happened, and your brain is trying to tell you otherwise. Tell me what all you saw that night." She said. Anna bit her lip as she remembered all she could remember about that horrible night.
As Anna explained everything. Going into detail about everything she saw that night. The kids, the warning, the blank spots in her memory, the explosion, the pain before blacking out.
Lady Elsa listened, studying her. Drinking in all the information that Anna gave her.
"Have you seen the red headed kids again?" She asked. Anna nervously nodded. "Yeah. A few times. But not when I was in the institute. I only saw them after the party, I started seeing them when I got released from the institution." Anna explained.
"I see multiple beings attached to you. Being psychic, that happens. They gravitate to them. To try and get something from them. Some want justice. I see one evil, the rest seem to be good. Who else are you seeing?" Lady Elsa asked closing her eyes as she started setting the cards out.
"I saw a corpse that was turned into a human Chello. I even watched him play himself. I could hear the sounds of his body move and the strings play, the blood she heard, and saw come out of the body. It was horrifying." Anna shuddered.
"I saw my mother. Charred and smoking from the explosion." Anna looked at Lady Elsa. "I saw the Wendigo. The black Wendigo. Even in my dreams. It tried to rape me as my dead mother and the three kids watched." Anna told the older woman.
Lady Elsa looked down at the cards. She started flipping them. "The tower. It represents destruction, crisis on the horizon." She flipped another. "The Devil. Represents temptation, addiction, and destructive behavior." She flipped the last card. "The Empress... Shows maternal protection."
Lady Elsa looked at Anna.
"You are in danger Anna. But you have protection. Someone from beyond is protecting you." Lady Elsa explained. "What can I do? Do these cards say anything about what I can do to protect myself?" Anna asked worriedly.
Lady Elsa pulled another card, frowning deeply as she showed it. "The Hanged Man. A sacrifice to be made to move forward." She mumbled still frowning deeply. Lady Elsa shook her head.
"You must be weary of who you trust and who you confide in Anna. Some of the people closest to you want something from you. Nothing good." Lady Elsa explained to the teen. "You are almost eighteen, correct?" Lady Elsa asked. Anna nodded.
"Stay away from that man. That Dr. Lector, stay away from him. He is no good." Lady Elsa warned.
A bell chimed, alerting the two that someone entered the shop. Both females tensed. Lady Elsa stood. "I will get you some protective things. Stay here." Lady Elsa said leaving the teen there with the cards that spoke her fate.
"Anna." A familiar voice said behind her. She looked behind her.
It was Dr. Lector.
